Total Drama belongs to Fresh TV & Teletoon

Waiting in front of a big 2-storey home innocently with a handbag in her hand is a young teenage girl. This voluptuous blonde haired teenager is Lindsay or nicknamed by others as the Dumb Princess due to her lack of intelligence. True that when people meet her, they witness just how dumb Lindsay could be like misremembering names, but she has proven others that she's quite smart at different times. Despite her intelligence, she has a big heart and is friendly to others. In return people like Lindsay for her friendly personality. Even if there were other people that took advantage of both her friendly personality and her not so smart IQ in the past.

Lindsay is waiting for someone to arrive at her home. She waited for them for half an hour. Or was it an half in half of an hour. Or was it half in half in- Before she could continue thinking on the time, she spotted the person she was waiting for; driving in a black colored sedan. Driving the car is another teenage girl.

This black and tealed hair colored girl is Gwen or nicknamed by other people as the Loner. Gwen usually hangs by herself; with the exception of other goths. At least that was before she ended up on a certain reality show (and most of its other seasons) that she never auditioned for; only to done it in order to humor her brother on a dare. Gwen ended up on the show and at first she wasn't thrilled to be there, but as the first season went on she made friends along the way. Including meeting her first boyfriend. From this experience, she had a great time on the show. At least for the first season. Different things happened to Gwen in the later seasons. Like brake ups and betrayals. In some way the reality show affected her life with friends from the show and her status to the show's community. Regardless she remains mostly strong and tries finding a way to patch things up with those that she wrong.

Gwen drove her car up to where Lindsay stood.

"Greta! I'm so happy you manage to find my home." Happily exclaimed Lindsay.

"It's Gwen, Lindsay." Gwen replied nonchalantly. "But yeah. I did manage to find your home in no trouble at all. I'm surprise your home is a couple of miles away from where I live."

"I'm surprise too, Gail." She said happily. "I could've sworn I mentioned where I live several times during Total Drama."

"No you haven't." She said while ignoring Lindsay miscalling her name once more.

"Oh. Well since you made it, are you ready to hangout together?" Lindsay asked.

"I am with everything and all but it's weird that you wanted to hangout with me. I thought you would hangout with your boyfriend or your BFF or any of your other friends." Said Gwen confusingly.

"Well Tyler went on a trip with his dad for a couple of days, Beth is very busy taking care of her pet pig, and everyone else is busy with other things." Answered Lindsay. " And then I was thinking, "Hey what about Gael?" We didn't hangout much on Total Drama, so why not outside the show here and now."

"Gee I wonder why?" Gwen thought to herself, knowing the answer why.

"So you ready to hangout, Gabby?" Asked Lindsay excitedly.

"Yeah. Sure I'm ready." Replied Gwen.

Lindsay hopped right in the car and into the passenger's seat next to Gwen.

"Wow I didn't know you have your own car. " She said as she looked around the inside of Gwen's car in amazement. "When did you get it?"

"Got it from my mom last year for my birthday." Replied Gwen. "So where do you wanna go? Cause I have this place in mi-"

"I have a place in mind," Interrupted Lindsay. "I know a nearby mall that's a couple of miles away from my home. Let's go there."

"Err right." She said dejected. "So much for my idea of hanging out."

With that said, Lindsay began to direct Gwen to the mall she had in mind while Gwen drove her car in line with Lindsay's directions.

'Several misdirections and one small traffic jam later'

The two finally arrived at their destination.

"Hooray! We finally made it." Happily said Lindsay.

"Yeah. Despite your directions leading us to that little traffic jam and wrong turns." Said Gwen while trying to sound less annoyed.

"Sorry about that. I usually don't give directions. I kinda forget the way to the place sometimes. " Lindsay said as she rubs the back of her head in slight embarrassment. "Wait did I mention that already?"

"I think you did. Anyways we're here. So let's get this over with I guess." The goth girl said.

"Alrighty. Let's go!"

With that said, she began to walk towards the mall with Gwen following from behind.

The first shop they went to is an accessory shop; filled with many accessories and some other merchandise. Lindsay began checking out all the accessories that she finds cute. Gwen however just looked around the store with a bit of interest.

As she looked around, she overheard some girls whispering to each other. But they weren't just talking about anything.

"Hey isn't that one goth girl from that one reality show?" One of the girls whispered.

"Yeah. That's her. The one that broke up with that handsome guitar player and with that mohawk haired bad boy." Whispered another.

"Yeah that's just wasn't right." Another one of the girls said.

Gwen just rolled her eyes and just ignored their rude gossip on her.

"Here we go again with the toxicity." Thought Gwen to herself.

Lindsay came back to Gwen while wearing a green colored hairband.

"Hey Grace, what do you think of this hairband? Does this look good on me?" Asked Lindsay. "I wasn't sure if this hairband would look god on me because of the color, but-"

"Uhhh yeah. It looks fine on you." Interrupted Gwen. "It really does."

As she said that, she moved pass Lindsay and to another part of the shop. Lindsay wondered why Gwen moved passed her. She looked ahead to where she spotted some girls leaving . She pondered for a bit before checking out the other accessories in the shop.

After some time, the two went to a store that sells shampoos, lotions, and conditioners. Lindsay wasted no time on looking over the products while Gwen looked around with a bit of interest again. As she was looking, she overheard some people behind her talking.

"Do you remember that one season of Total Drama where the goth girl kissed that girl's boyfriend behind her back?" Said one person.

"Yeah. Can't believe that happens. Kinda reminds me on how that Heather girl kissed the goth girl's boyfriend back in Island. Looks like she took tips from her and became the new Heather." The other person said.

"Seriously? They thought of that conclusion." Gwen thought to herself. "What the hell is wrong with these people?"

As Gwen thought to herself, Lindsay came over to Gwen with some shampoo.

"Hey Giana. Check out this shampoo smell."
She squirt a bit of the shampoo in the palm of her hand and has Gwen smell it.
"Doesn't it smell great?" She asked.

Gwen began wince her face and nose due to the sensitive smell before she sneezed into her arm.

"Oops. Was that too much?" Lindsay asked anxiously.

"Yeah. That was too much. I'm just gonna wait outside." Gwen said in a irritated tone before walking out of the store.

Lindsay looked on with concern on her face.

"What could be troubling her?" Lindsay thought to herself.

For the next couple of hours, the two visited several different stores. While Lindsay happily checked out each store's contents and merchandise, Gwen tried to enjoy her time with the hangout. Unfortunately no matter where she goes, she ends up hearing other people talk behind her back about different bad topics since her time on Total Drama. Usually she would just ignore this, but with Gwen being out with someone like Lindsay proved to slowly annoy her. Lindsay took notice of Gwen's increasingly annoyed behavior and tries to figure out what could be bothering her.

Eventually the two were at the mall's food court; eating their meals. Lindsay bought herself a sub sandwich, a bag of potato chips, and a bottle of water while Gwen bought herself a burger, some fries, and a medium size soda. As they eat, the two of them talked to one another. Or rather Lindsay did most of the talking while Gwen gave impassive responses.

"So I was wondering where should Tyler and I go for our summer vacation. I was wondering if we go somewhere tropical or maybe somewhere cold."

"Uh huh."

"Or maybe we could go to somewhere here in Canada or outside of Canada."

"Uh huh."

"Or maybe we could go travel to a small city or a big city. I just can't decide where we could go."

"Uh huh. That's good, Lindsay."

Lindsay stops her one sided conversation when she notice Gwen wasn't really interested in the conversation.

"Uh Gaia, are you ok?" Asked Lindsay.

"Uh..huh? Oh yeah. I'm doing alright, Lindsay." She lied.

"Are you really sure? Cause I've noticed that you looked annoyed for the whole trip." She asked again."

"I-I'm fine, Lindsay." Responded Gwen. "I really am."

"Hmm I don't believe you. " Suspected Lindsay. "I can definitely tell something's wrong with you."

"Really?! Out of all the times she acts so dumb today, she decided to think smart this time!" She thought.

"Can you please tell me what's wrong?" Begged Lindsay.

"Like I said, I'm fine Lindsay." She insisted.

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No!"

"Pleeeeaaasss-"

"I SAID-" Gwen stopped herself; noticing that she nearly shouted and attracted attention.

After a bit of time, Gwen sighed.

" 'sigh' If I tell you why, can you please stop begging me like a little kid?" Calmy asked Gwen.

"Sure!" Happily responded Lindsay.

Gwen took another bite of her burger, drink some of her soda, took some deep breathes, and began to speak her mind.

"It's just that I'm starting to grow sick and tired of all the bad gossip revolving around my time around Total Drama." She said dejected. "Like the love relationships, my actions, and so on. "

"Ohh..go on." Insisted Lindsay.

So Gwen continued.

"I'm just frustrated with everything said about me. Sure there are times when I manage to just ignore all of this...drama and I can manage to bounce back, but then since Courtney's stupid chart and betraying my friendship again during the All Stars season, I just lost all my will to ignore the gossips, comments, and lies about me. Of course, I hid this during the finale of All Stars. Especially where I was happy to whack Heather on the head with a stick and happy to see Zoey winning the million dollars. But then after we got back to Toronto, you guys got rescued, and went to our separate ways, I felt betrayed, dejected, stressed, and down by the bad gossip involving me. I just don't know what to do at this point. I just...feel like giving up."

Gwen finished what was in her mind, placed her chin on both her hands, and listen to what Gwen said and began to think on what to say. Gwen actually half expected Lindsay to just forget what she just said. Instead she got a surprisingly different response. Lindsay came close to Gwen and hugged her in comfort.

"Aw there there, Greer. " Comforted Lindsay. "It's alright to feel this stress and down after everything you went through that season. In fact, I think I know how that feels."

"You do?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah. Like the gossip on my dumbness. Like people wouldn't stop talking about how dumb I am. Especially on the Total Drama community. I heard people around me talking about how I was dumb to be Heather's friend and...did all of those mean things in that season under her rule. And then outside of the show, people just assume I'm just gonna do more dumb things even in public. Sure I may have done plenty of dumb things in the past, but that doesn't mean I dumb 24/7."

"Wow Lindsay. I really have no idea you also had to face the gossip around Total Drama too. " Gwen said with fascination.

"I know right."

"How do you manage to deal with it?" Asked Gwen.

"Well I usually just forget about it." Lindsay answered.

"Wish I could just be forgetful like you." Gwen thought to herself.

"But-" continued Lindsay. " -if I still remember those bad gossips, then I just ignore it and remember all the good times I have on Total Drama. Like making real friends, meeting Tyler, and all of my good moments. Like cursing out Heather for being...you know and getting karma to shave her hair thanks to what she threatened to do to me as a dare. Or showing Courtney to never misjudge me on how smart or dumb I am in some of the challenges in Action. So why don't you just forget about those bad things other people talked about you. It's just gossip. It's not like the whole world hates you. "

"Yeah...I guess those are good points." She said.

"I know right. And I'm sure you have good moments on Total Drama too. Even finding great friends. Well other friends that aren't like what Courtney did."

"Yeah. I do have good memories and made some great friends too." Gwen said calmly as she begins to remember the good moments and friends she made during her time on Total Drama.

"Great! Now just think of those good times and the friends you made." Happily said Lindsay.

Gwen began to remember the good times she made during the seasons of Total Drama she appeared. Like getting back at Heather for all the things she cause for her and teaming up with Owen to get Heather eliminated and making it to the final two during Island. She also remembers the people she made friends with on Total Drama. Like Leshawna and Cody. Even one of her previous...she shakes her head on that thought. She then remembers making friends with some of the cast of the fourth season of TD during her time on the All Stars season with them. Like Cameron, Mike, and Zoey.

Gwen took a deep breathe before breathing out all of her stress and troubles.

"Thanks for that, Lindsay." Thanked Gwen. " I guess my mind wasn't in a good place after the whole "Chartney" incident. And I felt...more "

"You're really welcome, Giada." Replied Lindsay. "Anything for a friend."

"I appreciate the help. I honestly didn't expect you to give advice like that." Said Gwen.

"Yeah. I totally am. Most of the time." Said Lindsay. She pondered something for a moment before she talked again. "Hey Gal. There's something I need to tell you."

"Go ahead."

"There's actually a real reason why I asked to hangout with you." She said.

"Really? So you lied?" Questioned Gwen.

"Yeah." She answered. "But for a good reason."

"Oookay. What's the reason?" Questioned Gwen again.

"It's...to apologize to you." Confessed Lindsay.

"Apologize?" Asked Gwen.

"Yeah. For all the mean things I helped Heather do back on Island. " She said with shame and guilt. "Like helping Heather take your diary and helping cause that scene with Heather and Trent. I wanted to say sorry for everything, but I got totally caught up with the other Total Drama seasons, hanging with my BFF, getting sent to jail during my vacation in Paris with Beth, and other things, that I forgot about apologizing to you. "

"What made you remember?" She asked.

"When my life flash before my eyes while I was trapped in that fart balloon and floated away. " Replied Lindsay. "It was so horrifying and gross, but it made me realize some things. Like I never got to say sorry to you."

"I see." Gwen said.

"Soooo...I'm so sorry for everything that happened since Total Drama Island, Georgia. I should've never join Heather's alliance." She apologize before asking. "Can you forgive me?"

The goth girl pondered a bit before answering. "I'm surprise it took this long to say this, but yes. Of course I can forgive you. That's all in the past. Back in that season. This is now. "

"Aww thank you, Gwen." She said happily as she hugged her again.

"Oh hey. You finally got my name right this time." Said Gwen. "Which is strange. Shouldn't you know my name by now, Lindsay? After all we've been through?"

Lindsay let's go of Gwen "What do you mean, Goldie?" She asked innocently.

Gwen looked at her with a suspicious look. Then Lindsay giggle.

"I'm just teasing you. Of course I know your name. I just pretended to be you know. Me." Answered Lindsay.

"So wait. You knew my name this whole time and you were just messing with me?" Questioned Gwen.

"Yeah. I kinda wanna mess with you during our hangout. I just didn't know you were feeling down today. Sorry about that." She apologize.

"It's alright. Since you helped cheered me up and remind me on the good things from Total Drama and all." Gwen said. "Who knew you really are clever. In your own way that is."

"You could say that I've grown a bit smarter during my time on Total Drama. " She said happily. "Like you wouldn't believe how I fooled with Courtney in All Stars. As a little pay back in Action."

And so the two continue to talked to one another as they continue eating their lunch. After they finished, they walked around the mall once more.

"So what store do you wanna go next?" Asked Gwen.

"How about we go to this one clothing store I know." Replied Lindsay. "It might have some clothes you're interested on buying."

"Sure. " Gwen replied. "As long as it's not too girly.

"Don't worry. I promised. I really do." She said before continuing. "And how about after that, we could go to where you wanna go?"

"You mean it?" She asked Lindsay.

"Yup! After all, this is our hangout day. So we get to go where you wanna go too." Happily said Lindsay.

"Cool. In that case, we should have enough time to go to this one art museum I know that's around your area." Suggested Gwen.

"Yeah! We can go there." Lindsay said in agreement.

"As long as you don't mess with any of the artwork there like during yours's and Beth's Paris vacation." Joked Gwen.

"I won't I learned my lesson the hard way." She chuckled.

The two made their way to the clothing store Lindsay has in mind as they continue their hangout day. Who would've known that at the start of their day, Gwen felt really down since the All Stars season ended. And with help from the "Dumb Princess", the "Loner" manage to find the will to push back and ignore any bad things talked about her. Gwen really apricated what Lindsay said to her. Especially forgiving her for helping out a bad person and finding another friend from the show she can trust.

Author's Notes: So it's been a long time since I wrote a fanfic. So forgive me if the story here might sound cringy and filled with grammar mistakes.

As for the purpose of this fanfic, after getting to watch Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race and watching it over and over again, I began to fully like this old cartoon series I remembered watching. And began watching the other Total Drama seasons again. The good seasons I mean. Then I went on to read a good amount of TD fanfics I liked and have this spark and motivation in me to try typing out some fanfics again. I hope that I can type down some more fanfics while I have this energy, motivation, and spark in me.

For this first fanfic made in a long time, I wanted to type a fanfic featuring two of my favorite characters from Total Drama. Even try having a hand on them being friends here. I did my best to portray their personalities with some of my own interpretation on their growths and maturity over time. Especially Lindsay here.

So yeah, I think that should be everything. I hope I can continue typing some fanfics in mind. Mainly TD at the moment. In case I don't, it was fun while it lasted.
