The Sun sheltered through the vines covering the cave. Birds sang in the treetops and the chocolate river lakes platyfishguards were flying through the thick dark syrup.
Many would think that living under the rule of the Spirit of Chaos himself would be annoying, and would hate to be within even five dragons from him.
Yeah, The Spirit of Chaos. Discord, Lord of Chaos, of all things ironic and chaotic. His titles went on and on and as one of the oldest spirits in existence, you'd think that he'd be quite mature.
But Noooo the Multidimensional near-omnipotent being was quite childish. If you've ever met a Draconequus then please phone a friend and tell Discord to get his scaly behind back to his part of the world. And if he offers to send you somewhere fun please don't accept it. We haven't heard from the Dragon Spirit of Wishes, Shenron, ever since Discord offered to send him to meet his papa. Sending a Giant Golden dragon to another realm isn't everyone's idea of Fun no matter how much you think they want to go.
But I'm not just anyone. I'm Noah one of the Prime spirits. But you don't really know what a Prime Spirit is now, do you?
Well to put it simply Prime Spirits are born from nothing yet everything. Not simple enough?
Well, we are our elements personified. Discord is another Prime Spirit. And he's Chaos made into Flesh or whatever he likes to be.
A few others include Null the Spirit of Space, Apollo the Spirit of Light, Kurama the Spirit of Emotion(Though he mainly chooses to be negative all the time), Vanadis the Spirit of Creation and Link the Spirit of Time and those are only a few.
Apparently, I'm one of those Spirits but we can't figure out what I am yet. Though there are quite a few clues. I was born before many other Prime Spirits hell I'm one of the first to ever exist. Maybe even the first but we weren't exactly born in the same place. Thus I'm the spirit of something that existed before things like Planets came into existence.
But What about Kurama the spirit of Emotion? Well, when a spirit is born they have emotion so do the math.
Spirits often know exactly what they are because they are born out of themselves. And having a body isn't exactly science or Magic. You've got to connect with your element before you have your Full power. Your powers aren't even available to you until 20 years after your birth if you are a Prime Spirit. Something about not unleashing the energies of the Universe upon all reality or something?
And we can't really die at all. One really good example is the Spirit of Emotion Kurama. Kurama was having a really rough day and decided to take on the Strongest spirit known to existence. Vanadis the Spirit of Creation created a ray of power that instantly destroyed Kurama's physical form in a nanosecond.
Then about two years later he reformed and grumbled some more before heading down south to nap.
Well anyway, I kept my ear out for the most powerful reality warper we've got. And now I feel Like I'm contradicting myself.
Well, We Spirits has a Ranking system on where you're at.
Reality. The Spirit who can do the most mind-boggling things and bend reality to his whims.
Combat. The Spirit who's undefeated in straight-up combat.
Mind. The Spirit who's got the best power over the Souls and non-physical.
Power. The Spirit who's power just dwarfs others by such amounts that it's kinda ridiculous.
Of course, we can't really count Vanadis among that list as the Spirit of Creation. So he's not really counted among the tier lists if he can literally just create another Spirit with a single snap of a finger and not get tired.
Our strongest Spirit in Combat is the Prime Spirit of Suns Escanor. His Physical strength is only surpassed by the Spirit of strength itself and even then he's got a giant axe, Magical power enough to chuck around suns, and can vaporize entire galaxies with a single swipe in his released state. And he's ranked Fifth in power.
Our strongest Mind is Kurama who can actually grant others his extraordinary power. He's apparently made up of Pure spiritual and Physical Energy and is actually just behind Nika in the Combat category because of his immense size that dwarfs all(At least until we get a Spirit of Size and Shenron who's just another level of collosal) and other factors. He's got enough that even in his sealed state he can destroy entire planets easily. He's ranked fourth in power since he's made of it.
Then Reality is Discord. No one else in that category even comes close to Discord's level of control. Ranked Third in the Mind, Second in Power, and First in Reality. He's got enough power to create an alternate reality with a snap of his fingers. Though of course, they disappear with time since he's Chaos and not creation. And his Reality warping is enough to change Spirit typing. So you were the Spirit of Sand? well, now you are the Spirit of Air Go take with him to get yourself back to sand.
Then in Power, We've got a Tie between the Spirits of Space and Time. Null and Link can fill up all the gaps in the universe with a Tenth of their Power. Now they can't really use it all and just have basically an endless pool of it but Space and time don't affect other Spirits like they do Mortals so they are kinda of stuck.
Well, I guess it's time to get up and at them. Apparently, a new Spirit is being born today. And not just any Spirit a new Prime Spirit. This hasn't happened since The spirit of Shadow Tartarus decided to create a physical form.
"Noah! I've got a stomach ache!" Discord moaned as he swam through the Timestream into my Living room- Wait now it's a dead room- Candy- You get the Idea.
"Discord! Control yourself and just rip it out. So what if it's aching?" I snip at him. Discord groans again and shows me his stomach which is not only arranged in the word Ache but is a bright Blue.
"I've already done that!" Discord grunted with a drawn-out ending.
"Well go see if somethings messing with your Chaos. That could be it, and make sure to get to the Birthing ground. Even if it's in a cave this time doesn't mean you can just miss the first gathering of Spirits in 10,000 years like last time, I thought Null was going have my head for that If it wasn't for Nika's antics," I shivered at the thought of the Spirit of Freedom and liberation who was ranked just behind Escanor in Combat. Actually, they have quite a rivalry and swap between first a second on the power scaling. Nika discovers more ways to fight and hands escanors ass to him, Then Escanor learns how to counter them and manages to convince him to fight during noon like an idiot then destroyed him. It's a weird dance of sorts.
"Oh Decent Idea from the Non-spirit," Discord teased.
"I'm still more than twice your age Discord," I snarled as a spike went through my heart. I groaned and pulled it out and groaned at its size. "Great that's gonna take at least a week, I'm not Ban, You Ass" I growled.
"Someone's angry, Well Gotta go! See ya later since your kinda slow!" Discord cackled as he vanished.
"He's gotta get some Mortal friends. Not everyone just accepts him, I wonder if he even thinks I'm a friend. Probably not since he doesn't have any interest in friends and the only spirit who freaking hangs out with him is me,"
I turned towards the exit/entrance to my humble abode of a bed and nothing else and swiftly left.
(Two hours later)
I tapped my foot anxiously. Every single Spirit was here in the Canyon except Discord(And Vanadis). MotherFucker was probably off terrorizing some poor rock and thinking it understands pain.
"Noah, You said that Discord would be here," Tree-Rex the Spirit of Life questioned as he lumbered over. He was the last prime Spirit born alongside his Twin the Spirit of Death Eye-Brawl. Both were freaking Huge and over 100,000,000 years old. Both were born alongside the First microorganisms to be born inside the universe.
"Yes that you Did," Shenron(Or as the mortals of whatever universe dumped him in before he found his way back, Super Shenron) added with a rise of his giant freaking Golden Eyebrow. Thankful that he shrank the fuck down from swallowing entire galaxies like a Whale does Shrimp size to just around our size.
"Maybe he's gone off again? That idiot is always late for things like this," Kurama grumbled before snarling at Nika who had been assigned to wake him up this time round.
"ShishiSHishishishi! Maybe he's found a new type of meat! Or Even Ramen? You'd like that wouldn't you Kurama?" Nika giggled. Kurama grumbled in response but the Nine-Tailed Fox(Or as we small guys liked to call him Beast) seemed to perk up at the mention of Ramen.
"Never change Kurama" Apollo sighed shaking his head happily. Link the Spirit of Time Nodded with a Huff behind him.
"Oh hey Link no time no speak, Sorry I shouldn't have said that. Or no I did it again, Man I really gotta shut my mouth," Discord cackled as he appeared into reality. Link glared at him but Discord simply shrugged it off.
"Well looks like we are all here-(Except Vanadis Again)- Yeah I got that Nika. Today we Spirits gather today for the first time in 10,000 years to witness the Birth of a Prime Spirit. Discord made it just in time so let's get going," Shenron announced as they went inside. Many of us transformed into our elements as we went inside. Except me of course who had to watch as the Spirit of Fire Tahu just burned my freaking hand again.
Inside the cave, we were presented with a small sapling. It had a crystal-like structure. The Tree started to Fluctuate immediately as all the Spirits watched in Awe and anticipation. Eventually a Light Surrounded-
Discord?
Discord immediately freaked out and tried to escape but the light wasn't allowing it. And nearly immediately not only did the Tree grow into it's full size with strange markings on it. But a figure emerged from the Tree.
"All Welcome the Spirit of Harmony, Equinox!" Escanor spoke simply. The Female Spirit looked confused and bewildered. Her giant bust was quite impressive and her ass was just as much. She wore an Impressive Dress around her sparkling body that hugged it tightly underneath but covered it with a layer of fabric like a cape on the outside. Her rainbow hair was quite unique and her eyes just as much as they held a strange depth within their Rippled sockets that glowed like a Dazzling Dawn. (For the Closest example of her physical form Look up Nejire from My Hero academia, That's also her voice,)
"Damn it," Discord cursed as his opposite was born. Her elements were part of her tree apparently. She looked around bewildered before stumbling back to her tree.
The second her hand touched it her tree glowed and her elements appeared.
The Elements of A prime elemental was the only way to transform either a living thing or an element into a spirit.
"Huh, We've Got Honesty, Loyalty, Laughter, generosity, Kindness and Magic? Impressive," I noted down as the other Spirits seemed to float up and down in realization. The ground appeared to shake and I sighed.
"It appears time is up, Everyone head back to your corners of reality or this world," Escanor ordered. Every Spirit either Disappeared or in the Case of the Spirit of Speed Minato just vanished.
Equinox just stared at us strangely, And was that Hostility I saw at Discord?
"This is gonna be a long night," I sighed.
