A.U.
Hi! I'm back. Sorry that I was away for a long time. 10 years and a few months. A loooot has happened during those years.
I have two other stories that I'm working on. Don't know the length of the 3rd one but we'll find out, eh?
Keep an eye out for those.
This is a much darker story than my other ones. I've had this idea for a while and it's been bugging me and omg so many ideas come to mind.
This is my baby. I've written out and re-wrote, erased, changed stuff around. I wrote down mini plots of what each chapter would contain so hold a bit as I figure this story out. I know how I want it to go and getting there will be a ride. Might have some aneurysms and maybe a block but I know I will finish this story.
So hold on tight as shit is going to go down.
Trigger Warning, all M rated stuff like seggs, blood, drug use and stuff will be posted on AO3 under the same username.
Once again, this is a darker theme story compared to my other ones.
You have been warned.
Pairings: Naruto/Kagome/Sasuke
Somewhere in Tokyo, Japan.
A group of girls were talking and walking from their school. Giggling and gushing over the newest cutest thing money can buy… plushies.
"Ne~ Totemo Kawaii!" A girl exclaimed. Her raven hair up in a high ponytail, sapphire blue eyes glitter in the sun as she and her friends hover over an ipad, looking at the newest squishmallows special edition.
Dress in their standard summer high school uniform, a sailor suit consisting of a white shirt with green and white cuffs, a red kerchief, a green skirt, and brown penny loafers with white ankle socks.
Suddenly a muffled growl interrupted their giggling and looked toward where the sound came from. Ayumi, with middle length wavy hair and their musically gifted friend and acting maestro to their school's choir performance during the cultural festival, blushed heavily as the sound came from her stomach.
Yuka, who's hair was the shortest of them three, just at a pixie cut due to the heat and hating how her hair sticks at the back of her neck with sweat decided to cut it, snorted and laughed at Ayumi's expression, earning a mock glare and a pout.
Eri, with a bob cut, looked down at her watch and frowning; from the light watch tan she was getting and at the time. It was almost five in the afternoon on a Wednesday.
Studying had ended a bit later than in the day with the majority of the time spent talking and gossiping.
"Ne, how about we go get our usual?" Eri asked.
All four girls nodded and two pairs of girls linked arms and made their way towards their usual spot: the WacDonalds.
Eri and Yuka were in front talking and walking and occasionally nudging at each others side to the other's attention; from clothes, jewerly's, boys and the occasional dog or cat that was down their path.
Ayumi and Kagome were walking arm in arm, both lost in their thought process.
Ayumi nudged Kagome to get her attention and lowered her voice. "How's things back home?"
Kagome gave her a brief smile and shrugged. "Same old." She replied, sighing. "Some days are better, some days are worse."
Kagome and Ayumi shared a deeper bond than Eri and Yuka, having met during their pre-pre-school days and the latter pair entered the friendship around middle school and the four have been inseparable since.
But with Ayumi knowing a bit more about Kagome's family more than the other two, and the background knowledge that Kagome's family is more influential and dangerous than any ol' regular 9 to 5 family.
Kagome won't explain her family situation but the years that Ayumi has known Kagome and what she has told her, lets just say that even the cops won't step in to help the occasion screaming or loud sounds that echoed throughout the Higuarshi's scattered property.
She has picked up lately that Kagome has a set of exhaustion on her shoulders and would tense up randomly. Eyes shifting occasionally then settling. It would occur every few minutes, without skipping a beat of the current topic, blue eyes would search every corner and crevice looking for whatever is haunting the poor girl, then settle and go back to the topic at hand.
About to enter the fast food restaurant, a loud and fast paced music reached each girl's ears and all of them patted their bodies to see which one it was coming from.
Kagome held up her phone, indicating that it was hers and motioned the three girls to enter and order while she stood outside to answer the call.
Looking at the caller I.D., she quickly swiped the answer butto-
"Kagome!"
A gruff voice shouted her name.
'Inuyasha?'
"Nigeru!"
At the sound, she for a split second glanced at her friends. Her best friends, who were casually waiting in line and once more, looking down at the ipad. Her three best friends she's known since middle school and her childhood, best friend, someone she's known since she barely started going to the bathroom by herself at the age of four. Her best friends, who encouraged her to talk to a boy she liked, who encouraged her to stand up for herself against her bullies in middle-school, her best friends who had sleepovers and never once asked why don't sleep over at her place for once. Her best friends who never asked questions when she would skip school for periods of time.
Her best friends that she would leave in a heartbeat.
Without a backwards glance, she dropped her phone, smashed it with her foot ignoring the looks she's getting from bystanders and took off throwing her bookbag in a dumpster a few blocks away. She went through the back alleyways, her mind map leading her towards her little safe house, where she stored money and the essentials for leaving everything behind.
Quickly getting out her set of keys, she unlocked the front door and quickly went inside and let her eyes adjust to the dim lights that entered her newspaper covered windows. Going to a specific dusty wall, she grabbed the hammer that was lying on the table, covered in dust, and smashed it against the wall. Over and over until a decent size hole appeared and reached in. Feeling for a rough texture of a duffle bag, she heaved it out and onto the dusty floor.
Taking off her hair-tie, she began the task of making herself look different. Putting on a red wig that stopped at her shoulders, she grabbed the duffle bag and went to the bathroom.
Rummaging through the smaller pockets, she grabbed hold of something small and looked at the expiration date. Noting that it was still good for another few months, she washed her hands and went to work to clean the bathroom counter and toilet with sanitizing wipes.
As she exited the bathroom, the once dark-haired, blue-eyed highschool girl disappeared. At her place stood a red headed bob, with green eyes. Her uniform was gone and in her clenched hands. She wore casual clothes, nothing giving her away. Dressed in biker shorts and an oversized shirt that hung over one shoulder showing off the fake tattoo she had given herself, she made her way out the door and dumped her uniform in a random dumpster that tomorrow would be emptied.
She made it to the somewhat busy sidewalk and hailed down a taxi. Getting in, she told him her destination and stared out the window at the darkening sky. Reaching her destination, she gave the taxi the set amount and a good tip before she closed her door and held back her hair as a gust of wind flew past her and a loud engine sound soared across the sky.
Getting her pass and ticket were easy enough. She had to lay low so that no one would be suspicious. Her duffle bag had a hidden compartment to hide her cash and the x-ray machine only picked up the everyday carry-on essential. Sweater, slippers, sleeping eye mask, travel pillow, her old ipod that still works, her wallet with her fake I.D., facial cleaning wipes, and more.
Settling into the business class, she shoved her duffle bag into her very own compartment above her head as every seat in business had their own compartment, so no one would complain about their stuff going missing or someone's property right on their own.
The airplane's pilot voice sounded throughout the plane mentioning that they will be taking off soon once the runway was cleared. She felt the plane rolling and turning towards the take-off lane and settled into her seat. Soon a loud rumbling sound surrounded her and everyone on the plane as it sped up to take off. She clenched her hands into the arm-rest of her seat and took deep breaths and counted.
Inhale. One, two, three, four.
Exhale. One, two, three, four.
On and off she would repeat.
As the plane was about to set into cruising level, a muffled loud boom exploded outside on the ground floor. She and everyone else that had a window seat looked out and saw that the city was in chaos. Fires were started as police cruisers were racing back and forth. Another loud explosion sounded in the distance.
She grabbed her ipod and plugged in her ears with the headphones and closed her eyes to block everything out. Closing the sunshade, she pressed a button to have her chair recline back and settled herself into the chair for a long flight ahead of her.
