The next morning, Maria and her friends were standing outside their school talking before the bell.
"Well, if it's not the losers," said Emiley as she approached.
"Hey, if it's not the future jailbird," said Maria while turning and giving Emiley a smug grin at the same time she crossed her arms.
"What are you talking about?" asked Emiley.
"I sent screenshots of your post from last night to a police friend, and he really wants to talk with you about all the laws you broke," said Maria. A cop car then pulled up with its lights flashing.
"Emiley Janz, you're under arrest," said an officer as he stepped out.
"What for?!" asked Emiley while being put in cuffs.
"It's a long list that I will be glad to read off to you," said the officer. He then started listing off the charges while taking her to the car. With each one of the charges the color drained further from her face.
"What did she do?" asked Aashi.
"Messed with the wrong girl and finally got what she deserves," said Maria as she watched Emiley being put in the car.
"You can come down to the station after school to give your statement, and don't worry, she's not going anywhere for a while," said the officer to Maria.
"Thanks Kaz," said Maria.
"Alright, what did she actually do?" asked Thomas. Maria then pulled her phone out while Officer Kaz left with Emiley.
"Defiantly shot herself in the foot this time," said Suzzy who was looking at the screen shots with Thomas and the others.
"Do you think the charges will stick?" asked Thomas.
"No clue, but it should be a lesson for her at least and a good way for me to get a restraining order against her," said Maria right as the bell rang.
"That's my girl," said Thomas before giving her a kiss on the cheek.
