Meanwhile back in Ponyville at Fluttershy's cottage, Twilight and Spike were listening with the critters to Fluttershy as she read the book that Twilight brought. She was at the best and exciting part of the story as Twilight was anticipating it while holding Spike in her forelegs as excitement shined in her eyes as they were nearing the best part.

"Cadence, there's something I must tell you." Shining Armor spoke softly and held my hooves.

"What is it, Shining?" I asked.

He goes down on the ground to kneel and takes out a black box with his magic before opening it to reveal a diamond crystal encrusted ring laying on the velvet pillow as I let out a gasp of surprise and hope.

"Cadence, from the moment I first laid my eyes on you, I instantly fell in love. You have the voice of an angel and the heart of a goddess. You've been in my mind every second of the day and I can't live without you. Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife? My princess and marry me?"

Knock, knock, knock

The sudden knocking interrupted the story and Twilight and Spike groaned in annoyance while Fluttershy just sighed and put the book down on the table while placing a bookmark on the page so she can resume later. She headed for the door and peeped through the peephole to see who it was.

And low and behold, it was Blueblood in a fancy suit as he was looking at the door with a smug smile but there was a piece of grass between his front teeth. Fluttershy scrunched up her nose in disgust and annoyance before opening the door.

"Is there something you need, Count Blueblood?" Fluttershy asked in both annoyance and confusion.

"You, the fairest mare in town, to become my wife." He said bowing and taking out a ring as Fluttershy looked at him dumbfounded.

"Me? Marry you? I think not!" Fluttershy instantly rejected and went to shut the door but Blueblood stopped it with his hoof.

"Oh, come on, Fluttershy. I know you love me so you can just stop denying it and marry me." Blueblood said and reached a hoof to Fluttershy's cheek but Twilight quickly intervened as her magic surrounded his hoof as she looked at him with an annoyed look.

"She doesn't love you nor is she interested, you cheater! So go find another mare to marry you because she doesn't like or love you." Twilight picked him up with her magic and tossed him out of the house.

He landed in the dirt and mud face first. Twilight snorted as Fluttershy gave her a thankful smile as she shut the door. Spike was snickering by the table as Fluttershy went back to her seat with Twilight as Fluttershy resumed back to reading.

I stood there speechless. My hoof was over my chest as I gasped in surprise and joy at his words.

"Yes! A million times yes!" I cheered and jumped on him and made both of us fall to the ground with me on top as we both laughed in happiness.

We sat up as he took the ring and slipped it on my horn. I turned to him and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. When we pulled apart, we pressed our foreheads together against each other.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you more." I whispered back.

"I love you most."

Fluttershy closed the book with a content and dreamy sigh with Twilight beaming happily when Fluttershy finished the story as Spike bounced happily.

"I can't believe he did it! How can he be so romantic?" Twilight gushed as Fluttershy gave her the book back.

"I don't know but it sure is romantic." Fluttershy smiled softly at the love of the two lovers in the book.

She just hopes that one day that she will be able to find true love and not marry Blueblood. The thought of marrying that self-absorbed, big ego stallion just made her shudder in disgust.

She then went to the door and opened it with Twilight and Spike to see if Blueblood was still there but to their relief he wasn't.

"Is he gone?" Fluttershy asked as Twilight came out and looked around.

"Gone as a parasprite, Fluttershy." Twilight said.

Fluttershy sighed in relief as she levitated a bucket with feeds in it. She just couldn't take it anymore with Blueblood wanting to marry her when she doesn't like him or what others tell her.

"Can you imagine? He asked me to marry him! Me! The wife of that small minded, egotistical colt!" She vented as she and Twilight with Spike went to where the other animals were as she started to sing.

Fluttershy: 'Madame Fluttershy'!

Twilight and Spike understood perfectly what she meant. They were also getting annoyed with Blueblood's insistence of marrying Fluttershy when he cheated on Twilight last year.

Fluttershy: No sir! Not me!

I guarantee it!

I want much more than this provincial life

Fluttershy then went to the hill overlooking Ponyville as her two friends followed as they couldn't help but feel sorry for herm

Fluttershy: I want adventure in the great wide somewhere

I want it more than I can tell

Fluttershy sat down on the grass as the cool breeze made the grass and dandelions sway in the wind.

Fluttershy: And for once it might be grand

To have someone understand

I want so much more than they've got planned

Fluttershy sighed as she laid down. Twilight sat down beside her with Spike as they watched the sunset.
