Taejin returns after a few more seconds, sees me sitting, and smiles, "Ah, I see that was too easy for you." Taeijin says, I nod, "Yeah, it was only ten squats," I say with a smile.
Taejin nods with a smile on his face, "I see. Well then do twenty more." Taejin says, I nod and happily start doing it, "Stop." I look at him confused. "That is wrong, your form is all wrong," Taejin says as he does a squat.
"Try copying me." Taejin says as I copy him and he nods, For the rest of the squats, Taejin does it with me, Taejin nods, "Good job, now try doing five push-ups." I nod and start doing it, Taejin didn't stop me this time so I guess it was good form.
Taejin nods, "Alrighty, now let's go for a run," Taejin says and I nod and start running, "Oi, don't run so fast, you're gonna get tired way too fast." Taejin says, I nod and run slower.
We ran around the surrounding forest, I still couldn't see an animal in that run, which was pretty suspicious as I encountered the Leobear super fast.
"Hey, Taejin why are there no animals around here?" I ask, Taejin smiles, "Oh that? The animals are afraid of me."
"The animals are afraid of you?" I ask, could these animals even remember a person for a long time, Taejin nods happily.
"Yup, the animals here are pretty strong so I keep them away from the towns." Taejin says grinning, I smile, "So you're kinda like a marine," I say, Taejin chuckles, "No, I just do it so no one finds out where I live, it'd be pretty annoying if a marine found me out."
"How would that help?" I ask, Taejin smiles, "That's something you don't need to know." I nod and see the house.
"Alrighty, now we will practice the stance since that is the most important part of the Awakened Reality Style," Taejin says with a smile, I nod with a smile, and Taejin goes into a pose, "Copy this," Taejin says.
I do as he says, After an hour Taejin smiles. "Alrighty, that's enough training for today," I nod and start going to read the books.
After a few hours, I finished all the books and there was only one bit of interesting information the Marines were created a few years after the Void century ended, which meant something did happen in the Void century and perhaps joining the Marines will give me some information about it.
I then went to find Taejin as I had nothing else to do and I didn't want to reread the books.
I see Taejin in the kitchen cooking some meat, "Hey Taejin, I read all the books, what should I do now." Taejin chuckles, "Ah, I didn't think you could finish them so quickly," Taejin puts out the stove and washes his hands.
"Alright, we can go into the town to find some stuff for you to do," Taejin says, I nod since there is nothing I can do, "Ah, I'll have to put you into school as well," Taejin says, "School?" I ask.
"Yup, it's a place where you learn stuff and make friends or something, I don't know I never went to school." Taejin says, I chuckle, "I know what school is." I say with a smile.
"Ah, my bad." Taejin says as he puts on his shoes, "Let's go, we should get you enlisted fast," Taejin says as I nod and start following him.
While walking through the city, I thought 'Huh, I wonder if I'll learn some stuff about the grand line in school.' We finally stopped at a decently sized building that had a big sign, On the sign was written, Coral Town School.
Taejin opened the door, and it seemed like there were no classes yet, Taejin and I walked for some time and then we encountered a man with glasses and was wearing a suit, it seemed like he was a teacher in this school.
"Ah, Taejin-san, what are you doing here?" He asks with a smile and then he looks at me, "Hello, little girl, my name is Takashi, what is yours?" he asks, still with a smile, "Uh, my name is Kei Jin," I say, Takashi nodded.
"Oi, Takashi, where is the principle?" Taejin asks, Takashi chuckles, "I see, so are you trying to enlist Kei Jin into the school?" Taejin nods.
"Yeah, she needs an education," Taejin says with a smile, Takashi laughs, "I see, so you don't want her to end up like you," Takashi says.
Taejin nods, "Yup, I can't let her become a pirate, plus she has nothing else to do at home." Takashi nods.
"So is she your daughter?" Takashi asks, Taejin shakes his head, "No, she's my disciple," Takashi nods. "I see, well Follow me, and I'll show you where Adam-san is," Takashi says as he walks.
We followed him, I was feeling a bit nervous, I wasn't sure why but I was. We finally arrived at an office, Takashi opened the door and went in When Taejin and I came in, I saw an old guy who was doing paperwork.
"Ah, Takashi, who do you have here?" He says with a raspy voice and then coughs, "Uh, Adam-san when was the last time you drank water?" Takashi asks with a smile, Adam chuckles, "Ah, I don't remember anymore," Adam says.
"But as I was saying who did you bring?" Adam says as he goes to drink some water, Taejin bows.
"I am Taejin, and this is my granddaughter, I am looking to enlist her into your school," Taejin says, I almost said something when he said I was his granddaughter but I stopped myself.
Adam nods, "I see, Well let me get the paperwork," He gets some paper, "Just sign here and she'll be enlisted." Adam says, I see Taejin's face look confused. "Is it that easy?" Taejin asks, Adam nods.
"Well, I created the school to make it easy for kids to get an education." Taejin grins, "Ah, alright," Taejin says as he signs and Adam nods, "Alright, Takashi, please tell Mister Taejin what he has to buy."
Taejin and Takashi go away, "So, what's your name?" Adam asks, "My name is Kei Jin." I say, Adam nods, "What do you usually do in your free time?" Adam asks.
"I read books," Adam nods, "I see, so you can already read." Adam says, "What's your age?"
'Why is he asking that now?' "I am five years old." He nods once again, "And when is your birthday?" 'Ah, I don't know that, what can I do about that? I don't even know what day it is today.' "Uh, I forgot?" I said I wasn't sure that it would work.
Adam chuckles, "Well, it's natural for kids to forget such things," 'That worked?' I asked myself, Taejin came back in, "Ah, you're back mister Taejin," Adam said.
"I was just asking Kei some questions," He says with a smile, Taejin nods, "I see, Well, we'll be going now," Taejin says with a smile, I go to Taejin, "I hope you guys will have a nice day," Adam says.
We go out of the room and Takashi is waiting for us, "Alright, Kei, let's go," Taejin says, I nod and follow him.
We went into a medium-sized building, which had a lot of stuff, from food to paper, While looking at some paper and pencils, I thought to myself 'Maybe I should try learning how to draw.'
"Kei, do you wanna learn to draw?" Taejin asks, I nod, "Yeah, it's not like I have anything else to do." I say, Taejin nods, "Alright, I'll buy a sketchbook and some other stuff." Taejin says as he picks up a sketchbook, pencil, and an eraser.
After buying everything we went back home and I went to nap since I was really sleepy.
Waking up, I saw that it had been at least two hours, I went out of the room and into the living room where Taejin was working out.
He noticed me and smiled, "So how are you doing Kei?" I smile, "I'm doing good, can I go draw?" I ask, Taejin smiles, "Obviously, let me get it for you.' Taejin says as he goes out of the living room and comes back with the sketchbook and pencil.
He gives me the sketchbook and pencil, "If you want I can teach you a bit, since one of my crewmates used to draw a lot and I picked it up from him." I nod and smile, "Sure that sounds great."
"I only learned the basics on how to draw a person, but there will probably be an art teacher at your school, You'll be able to ask them to teach you tomorrow," Taejin says with a smile as he puts down the sketchbook.
"I'll draw a human body and you'll be able to copy it." Taejin says as he begins drawing, he first places a curved line.
"That's the dynamic line it basically shows where your person is facing," Taejin says as he draws a circle in the middle of the line "That's for the ribcage, I find it easier to draw the ribcage first."
He then draws a square, a bit inside the circle "That's for the stomach," Taejin says.
He draws a triangle connected to the square. "That's to connect the legs," Taejin says.
He then drew a teardrop shape which was a bit inside the triangle, "That's for the first part of the legs," Taejin said.
He then drew two lines on each side of the end of the teardrop and made two longer lines going down. "That's for the second part of the leg," Taejin says.
He then draws a triangle at the end of the second part of the leg. "That's for the foot."
He then draws a circle at the top of each side of the ribcage, "That's for the start of the arms."
He then draws a square in the middle of the top of the ribcage, "That's for the neck," Taejin says as he draws a circle connected to the neck.
"That's for the head," Taejin says as he draws rectangles where the start of the arms are.
"That's for the first part of the arm," Taejin says as he then draws a circle. "That's for the elbow,"
He then drew a triangle that became smaller and then he drew a curved square. "That's for the rest of the arm and hand."
"You can add fingers by drawing lines but this would be enough for you to learn for now," Taejin says with a smile. I nod and try picking up the pencil with my right hand, but it feels weird.
I then switched hands and it was better, "Ah, it seems you are left-handed." Taejin says, I nod with a smile.
"Yeah, I am," I say and being copying what he drew, It was kind of hard to understand everything when he just made it in one go but I'll probably make it decently.
After a few hours, it started to get dark, so I went to sleep.
I had a dream while sleeping, it was weird, I was in what looked like a super big ship, smoke everywhere canon shots could be heard every second.
It was very weird, "Oi, wake up Kei Jin." Taejin says, I groggily open my eyes, it looked super dark, I could barely see anything, and not just because I was super tired.
"If you wanna become a marine you'll have to wake up faster than this," Taejin says, I could barely make out that he was smiling.
I yawned, "Alright, I'll wake up now," And with that, I stood up and changed from my pajamas into my clothes and I followed Taejin to the kitchen, where he had made some tea and sandwiches.
"So are you excited for your first day of school?" Taejin asks with a smile, I nod.
"Yup, I can't wait," I say, but I was pretty anxious as well, I didn't know what would happen and if I could even make friends.
Taejin grins, "Don't worry I think you'll be able to find friends." I nod and smile.
"Alright," I say and start eating my breakfast, Taejin eats his own breakfast as well, which is the same thing but with coffee instead.
We finish breakfast and Taejin gives me a backpack, "Here's your backpack, I put your launch inside it as well." Taejin says with a smile.
"Thanks, Taejin," I say with a smile and put on the backpack, We start walking the path, still not an animal in sight, We finally arrive at the school and there are kids going inside.
'Ah wait, I don't know where my class is,' I say as Taejin smiles, "You'll find Takashi in class 1b, you can ask him where your class is." Taejin says, I nod, it seems Taejin couldn't come with me.

I hope someone enjoys this chapter the drawing of the body is actually pretty realistic as that is basically how I draw the human body, I just couldn't really understand how to describe the legs but other than that it is pretty accurate, I also have been busy with school so I couldn't get this chapter out super fast, this fanfic is also on Ao3, that's why I could upload two chapters really close to each other.
