Original story and plot goes to Rhues
It was a late and quiet night at the hotel and someone just came back from a certain place. Angel perked up at seeing the familiar feline at the bar and approached him.
"Oh Husky-poo~" Angel called which made Husk's ears twitch in his direction while pausing on cleaning a glass.
"Fuuuuuck..." Husk groaned before putting the cloth and glass down, already knowing that Angel would probably order the usual or the such.
"Urgh, fine! Whatcha want? An' make it quick! I'm closing up for the night!" Husk told him in an annoyed tone.
"Can I get a... a..." Angel trails off as the smile on his face slowly disappears as he starts to shake.
"Can I get a hug...?" Angel shakily whispered with unshed tears in his eyes.
That request caught Husk off guard and he turned to fully see what Angel looked like and what he saw made his heart drop. The kid was full of bruises and sporting a black eye. Angel and Husk stared at each other while Angel hugged himself to keep it together as he forced a smile up towards him but the shaking didn't stop wrecking his form.
"I'm just messin' wit' ya, Husky... I know you ain't the huggin' sorta type... Especially not wit' someone like lil ol' me... " Angel said as he rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish smile.
Husk just stayed silent before slowly approaching him.
"Forget I said anythin'... Just me bein' my usual stupid self..." Angel breathed shakily as he turned around on his stool.
"Look... I'm just gonna head off... Sorry I wasted yer time..." Angel said as he moved to get up from his chair with the same forced smile on his face.
"Good night, Husky..." Angel turned and was about to leave when a hand pulled him back.
Angel's eyes widened as a pair of arms wrapped around his waist and familiar wings wrapped loosely around him and Husk. Angel was too stunned to move by what was going on but he slowly relaxed as tears started to form in his eyes before they started raining like rain as Angel held onto Husk's arm for comfort as he started to cry softly.
"Thanks, Husk..." Angel cried softly as Husk hummed and let Angel cry while holding him and give him as much comfort that he needed.
"No worries, kid... It's on the house." Husk reassures him as he continues to hold Angel and let him take as much time as he needs.
