Chapter Two:

Things weren't looking good for Uta Midoriya. Surrounded by robots and not a single point to her name. Feeling the inevitability of defeat, failure and something else welling up alongside her urge to sing roaring louder than ever, Uta simply gave in to her urge and started singing to the tune of her soul.

"Various Shul Shagana tron." The words written on the piece of paper that came with her necklace in the box it was stored in for over 300 years. She wasn't sure why that was the first thing she sang, but she didn't get the time to properly comprehend it as (as strange as it sounded) pink tinted green light enveloped her. While what happened next only lasted for about a second in real time, it certainly felt longer than that for Uta. While she knew how a transformation sequence usually went for a magical girl in cartoons thanks to being a part time fan of the genre, she never expected to be in one herself. The tracksuit that she arrived to the testing site in got torn to shreds as a massive cascade of white-, black-, pink- and green colored metal blades (similar to the teeth of a buzz- or chainsaw) erupted from her necklace and enveloped her completely before rearranging and changing in ways that didn't seem to be completely physically possible into an outfit that looked like a Pro Hero's outfit.

Chainsaw chains wrapped themselves around her feet and halfway up her calves, seeming to run across a track of some kind a few laps, each lap getting faster and faster until it was all a blur that suddenly stopped to reveal that the chains had become a pair of metallic boots with miniature buzzsaws on the outsides of the boots, similar to the wheels incorporated into the shoes of certain brands of sport shoes. Multiple metallic rings covered with teeth spun around the outer halves of Uta's forearms as more chainsaw chains wrapped around her hands before becoming a pair of fingerless metal gloves with a pair of pink tinted green metal yo-yos attached to the middle fingers with a metal ring. As multiple blades realigned along Uta's spine, they started to bend around the Uta's curves, forming a leotard of blades that quickly smoothed out and tightened down to the skin before the aforementioned leotard seemed to transmute into a latex-like material, leaving little to the imagination, showing off that Uta was a very healthy young girl who almost seemed to have been compensated for her lack of a Quirk by getting a very good deal from puberty, something that more than a few of her female classmates were more than a little jealous of. As the transformation sequence seemed to approach its end, four last items were formed from the remaining amalgamation of white-, black-, pink- and green colored blades. A large pair of chainsaw blades formed on the outsides of Uta's thighs, revving up a couple of times with a pair of practically razor sharp 'vroom's before the chainsaw blades turned into a large pair of green tassets with pink rims. The amalgamation of blades covering Uta's face seemed to move away from it as a pair of buzzsaws briefly formed on top of Uta's ears, rapidly spinning before rearranging to form a combination of a pair of cat eared headphones and a pink tinted green visor. Much like the first items formed during the transformation sequence, the buzzsaw-wheeled rollerblades, the last item was formed from a chainsaw chain wrapping itself around the hair on the back of Uta's head, which changed into a tight ring with hundreds of tiny teeth covering the outer surface keeping Uta's hair in a tight ponytail on the back of her head and out of her face.

As the light dimmed down and Uta could get a good look at her new attire, she couldn't stop herself as a wide grin spread across her face. She looked and felt incredible as if she had just woken up from a very good night's sleep. After taking a deep breath, she started singing to the tune of her soul and began to explore just what she was capable of.

"Even the loud crowds have their perspectives, Yeah! Totally flat, lightly cracked, ones that you can't stand. A pumping beat that no claps can overtake, so Imma rev these unhinged chains to forget!" Simply testing out what would happen, Uta tossed the yo-yos in the direction of a pair of robots and was quite surprised to see the yo-yos transform into a pair of giant buzzsaws that dug not just into the robots but slicing them in two. As the aforementioned buzzsaw-yo-yos returned to Uta's hands, reverting back to normal yo-yos in the process, another pair of robots rolled up behind the singing teenager who proceeded to dodge forward and start breakdancing with the small buzzsaws on her boots dislodging from said boots, the buzzsaws still connected to the boots by strings of energy and growing in size to the size of frisbees, shredding through the metal and digging into the machinery underneath the metal coverings. All while Uta kept on singing as if nothing happened. "Hu, hu, hu. Hu, hu, hu, hu. Drown everything out. Turn the engine on. Just click your tongue and watch it run. This rusted black CHAINSAW BLOOD! It's getting hot, my blood boils and I can't seem to stop! I wanna smash! Wanna tear! But I can't get enough! Hu. Hu. Hu. Hu, tell me why you're crying? Tell me why… CHAINSAW BLOOD!" As Uta continued to sing and work her way through what sounded like the chorus of the song roaring in her soul, her battle with the various kinds of robots was maneuvering through the various alleyways of the test site and towards the 'main street' where the most of the other people partaking in the Entrance Exam were located. Meaning that she would soon enough have an audience, something that made her feel rather excited.

"Is that… singing?" While Uta couldn't see her soon-to-be audience yet, she could recognize the voice of the rather… stiff guy she remembered making a big deal about the Pro Hero giving the presentation/instructions for the practical portion apparently being a bit too slow regarding the information for his taste and apparently finding Uta's habit of thinking out loud distracting, only for him to get called out for being even more distracting than Uta by a (in Uta's opinion) rather cute girl with light dirty blonde hair in a pair of messy hair buns, who called him a 'rigid hardass with a really long and thick stick up his ass' before adding the word 'death' at the end of her sentence in a kind of random but (in Uta's opinion) kind of adorable fashion. Deciding to answer the stiff guy's question, Uta resumed singing while at the same time performing a pirouette straight out of a ballet, all while the tassets on her thighs shifted and combined to form a giant buzzsaw, which proceeded to cut not only the robot chasing after her but also the nearest one on the main street/stage in half as she took to the 'stage'.

"My blood is seething and boiling, it can't seem to stop! It's like a nightmare when there's a taste of blood in my mouth. Hu, hu, hu, hu tell me why you're crying? Tell me why you're grinning? Distracted by fantasies. By all binding hate in my brain. By all these hands of love, yeah, yeah. Tryina find the bad in the scheme, this one little man, ran into words that made him feel dizzy. CHAINSAW is the hand of love."

"Wait, what was that?" Asked one of the other examinees, strangely not in response to Uta's singing but rather in response to what sounded like someone yelling 'FORE!' in the distance before sending several robots flying past them through the air from an alleyway a couple blocks away and into a nearby building.

"Even the loud crowds have their perspectives, Yeah! Totally flat, lightly cracked, ones that you can't stand. A pumping beat that no claps can overtake, so Imma rev these unhinged chains to forget." Before Uta got the chance to enter the main part of the chorus of her song, the ground seemed to start shaking as a very large building near the center of the test site began to crack and crumble. Revealing that the building was nothing but an empty shell meant to conceal the (literally) biggest obstacle of the U.A-Hero Course Entrance Exam. The Zero-Pointer. As she simply stared at the mechanical titan, three things brought her out of her minor lapse of focus. The exclamation of pain mere meters away from the Zero-Pointer, originating from the rosy cheeked girl who saved Uta from tripping over when Bakugou shoved her, the voice of the cute blonde who called out the stiff guy earlier singing and what sounded like a collection of rocket engines… well… rocketing something or someone towards the main street of the test site at probably high speeds as the sound was rapidly getting louder and louder by the second.

"Like a bloody storm! You're burning like a bloody star! Cut through and find your way just beyond the endless burning flames! Only you alone, without a doubt within your soul, full of hope! Can reach beyond the end." The source behind the sound of rockets turned out to be the cute blonde, who was now wearing a primarily red outfit resembling a mix between a grim reaper, a vampire and a witch-costume that gave Uta a strange feeling of deja vu as the blonde spun the very hard to miss red scythe above her head before striking a pose with said scythe held diagonally across her back. "Hello there."

"Hi."

"Wanna try and tag-team 'Mister Big, Fat, Dumb and Metallic' over there?"

"Sure. Why not? Is your gear also powered up through singing as well?"

"Yours two? Alright then. Let's sing."
