Leon didn't know how long he had been floating in the Prison Dimension but it was better than floating aimlessly than getting beat up to a pulp by the head honcho Krang but...
He misses his family...
He misses his brothers... Raph's bear hugs... Donnie's sarcastic self... Mikey's energetic self... April being herself... Splinter's caring for them... Casey...
He choked back a sob. He was not gonna let the Krang know where he was. He kept clutching the worn out photo close to his chest as tears fell from his eyes. So this was how he was going to die? Well, at least he can join Gram-Gram soon. But what would his brothers' think? Was Raph proud of him?
A golden glow from behind him made look and hope filled his slowly dying fire and he spun around despite his body screaming in pain and he reached towards the portal. Tears filled his eyes once again but this time with relief and joy at the sight of his brothers who were all looking shocked and relieved with tears in Donnie's and Mikey's eyes.
He grunted a little but managed a tired and pained yet relieved smile at seeing them.
"Heh... Took you guys long enough." He said with a tired smile.
Raph quickly used his mystic powers to engulf his arm and reached through the portal and grasped Leon's outstretched hand just as the slider blacked out from the pain and exhaustion but if he just stayed awake a bit longer, he would have seen the portal becoming unstable as it glitched.
Raph became alarmed when Leo suddenly passed out but he just continued to pull his little brother to safety but when Leo was nearing the portal, the familiar nightmare fueled screech was heard as the leader Kraang suddenly appeared behind their unconscious brother.
"Leo!" Raph cried out, hoping his little brother woke up but he remained unconscious.
Donnie powered up his ninpo and materialized a drill before he launched it towards the Krang with a cry. It hit the Kraang square on as Raph pulled Leo through the portal but suddenly lost grip as his hand came out without Leo in tow.
"Mikey, close the portal now!" Donnie exclaimed in fear.
"But what about Leo?!" Mikey asked in confusion and shock.
"Mikey, just do it!" Raph told him.
As much as he was confused and shocked when Leo didn't come out, they have to close the portal before the Krang gets out. With much heartache, Mikey closed the portal as the angered screech of the Krang was last heard. Mikey stared in shock and petrified of where the portal was and new tears started to fall from his eyes as barely contained sobs escaped his mouth. A pair of strong arms engulfed in a hug which was enough to break the dam down as he let out a gut wrenching wail at the feeling of loss of an older brother. Donnie clenched his fist but Raph pulled him in the hug and the soft shell let out a distressed and anguished filled keen as the tears he tried to contain finally fell like a waterfall.
Raph tried to stifle his own cries and sobs but the tears just kept falling.
He failed... He failed Gram Gram... He failed Leo... He failed being the older brother who protects their younger siblings...
But one question remains in his mind; where is Leonardo?
