A soft sigh left the mouth of a 15 year old brunette/red haired colored girl. She locked her locker after taking her stuff out of it. 2 years she put up with this and 2 years of putting up with that candy cane colored liar.

She almost forgot that it was 2 years ago when Liliana Viper came to her school. She thought Liliana was like any normal teen her age at that time but she was proven wrong. The whole thing started with simple white lies to outrageous lies that made her blood boil. Then the incidents happened. It started out small with a missing pen and notebook then it moved on to valuables which were always found in her locker.

She could still hear the crocodile tears and fake sobbing of Liliana in her mind's ear and it just made her bristle but she had to get a grip. She's finally getting out and away from this school. Away from her suffering. Away from HER.

She wasn't looking where she was going only for her to trip over by someone's foot and the cruel laughter of her tormentor.

"Oh dear. I'm so sorry, Kayla! I didn't see you there." Liliana feigned sympathy but Kayla could clearly hear the sneer and taunts in that tone of hers.

"Here let me help you up." She said sweetly but Liliana just made a grab for her notebook.

"Hey, give that back!" Kayla shouted as she tried to get her notebook back.

"Oh wonder why?" Liliana wondered with an evil glint in her eyes.

"Give me my notebook back, Liliana." Kayla said as she glanced at her notebook worriedly.

"Hmm. Sorry. I don't think I heard the magic word." She said with a smirk.

"Give me my notebook back. Please." Kayla cringed as Liliana laughed cruelly.

"That's better but I don't think you'll be needing this stupid thing." She said before she grabbed both ends of the notebook and started to pull it.

Kayla's eyes widened, realizing what Liliana was intending to do.

"No! Don't do that!" She cried desperately as she tried to grab it back but Liliana just danced around in circles around her with a laugh.

"Oh tell me why this stupid notebook is important to you, Bloody Stripes, or you can say goodbye to your little notebook?" Liliana asked but Kayla didn't answer.

"Just... Just please give it back..." Kayla pleaded.

"How about... No." Liliana said before proceeding to literally rip the whole thing in half much to Kayla's shock and disbelief.

"Oops. My hands slipped." Liliana said as she dropped the now ripped notebook on the floor.

Kayla felt her whole world shattered as she tried to grab what was left of her notebook but Liliana stopped her by grabbing her collar.

"Listen here, freak. As long as I'm around, you'll be nothing but worshiping the ground I walk on like an ant cause that's what you are." Liliana hissed before a hand pulled her away from Kayla.

"Why don't you leave her alone and pick someone your own size, Viper." A cold voice spoke up behind her.

Kayla felt instant relief as familiar hands helped her up.

"You okay, Kayla?" The second newcomer, Emily Sparks, asked.

"Y-Yeah... Thanks, Ems." Kayla sniffed as she tried to wipe her tears.

"Oh look who showed up. The android freaks come to rescue the striped loner." Liliana sneered as purple eyes glared at her.

"You better watch your tone before I rip out your voice box." The raven haired, Unicra or Amelia Sparks, warned her with a growl before walking past her but not before bumping her shoulder, painfully.

Amelia picked up the ruined notebook just as it floated and was repaired by a purple flying triangle.

"Can't you guys let me vaporize her with my railgun?" A voice asked.

"Uzi, you know we can't do that. I had to at least get V to not pop her head off." Another said.

The two others were robots or drones. They're Uzi Doorman and Tesla.

"Ugh, you're no fun, Tes." Uzi pouted as she levitated the repaired notebook back to Kayla who hugged it close.

"Seriously, what is up with that girl? Always picking on you, Kayla." Tesla said as they helped her pick her stuff back up as they went to the front of the school.

"It's probably because I used to like Sunflare." Kayla said as she held the strap of her bag.

She was at least grateful to have six friends. They're the only ones who didn't turn their backs on her and yet sometimes she felt like something is still missing in her life.

"That green haired dork?" Amelia asked as they left the school.

"He's not a dork, Ames. He's my friend." Kayla huffed out a laugh.

"Plus let's not forget how you and Megatronus used to flirt with each other before he went off to do military duty." Emily retorted as a blush appeared on Amelia's face.

"Oh yeah? What about you and Orion? I heard how both of you met and I seriously still can't believe you two geeks over Shakespearean novels." Uzi said as Emily blushed and gave the drone a look to stop.

"Shakespeare is good. Especially Romeo and Juliet." Kayla said as she smiled lightly at her friends.

"Oh yeah. Can't forget about that. N always cries when Romeo and Juliet both die at the end." Tesla said as she walked beside Uzi.

"While V just complains about not having enough action." Amelia said.

Kayla looked at her watch and noted that it was only 2:30 pm in the afternoon.

"Hey, guys, are you thinking of going to the concert next two months?" She asked as they stopped by a crosswalk.

"You mean, we get to watch the Rainbooms in person instead of TV?!" Uzi asked excitedly.

"Yeah that one. I was wondering if you guys are free?" She asked.

"Ooh, um, sorry, Kayla. But Orion needs an extra pair of hands at the bookstore. There's gonna be a big sale and I gotta help him with Amelia." Emily winced.

"Oh darn. I forgot I have to help dad install the new software firewalls on computers." Uzi grumbled.

"And I have to help Marinette and Adrien run their bakery/cafe. They're short on staff and they asked me if I can help." Tesla said as Kayla mentally sighed dejectedly but she just smiled at them.

"It's okay, guys. Maybe some other time." She reassured them as they crossed the street.

They went their separate ways and Kayla deflated as she walked back to her apartment. She didn't tell her friends yet but she was moving to New York to start a new life and it made her heart ache to leave without even telling them but maybe it was for the best.

She got into her apartment and packed the only stuff she has in a suitcase. She looked around the bedroom before she just sigh and walked to the fire escape by the window and sat down on the window sill as the sky turned gray as if sensing her emotion. She felt tears in her eyes as she hugged herself.

2 and a half years of torment and the scars won't heal. Hurtful words of those she used to know and help echoed in her mind which made her tears fall.

"You're such a loser."

"What a freak!"

"Ew! Her hair is, like, stained with blood!"

"You're nothing without anyone to support you."

"I finally won, Kayla Blood Stripes. And you lose."

"You can't do anything right."

"Why am I friends with you in the first place?!"

"You're so mean! I wish we were never friends in the first place!"

"I can't believe I used to trust you!"

Kayla sniffed before started to cry. She sometimes wanted to tell the truth but every time, that liar is always one step ahead of her with a lie to back up her claim that it just made her sick.

Sometimes she feels like... Screaming but no sound always comes out...

She sniffed and went out as the rain started to pour down. She didn't mind it as she looked up to the clouds with a dull look.

She looked down at the people below from her spot on the roof. Music began to play as she stood up as she opened her mouth and sang.

Kayla: They're so caught in your captivation

You're still spinning your web of lies

That it's causing me so much frustration

Yet you find enjoyment seeing me cry

You wanted to ruin my life

That I'm forced to hide the pain inside

Sobbing crocodile tears with a cruel smile

I'm so tired of your lies

And this storm is rising inside of me

Don't you regret the hurt that you always cause

It's getting harder to breathe

Like I'm trapped in the fire

Please stop your lies

Believe me she's lying like a snake

You need to understand the truth

And yet it pains me to see you walk away

And it's hurting me

I feel like I can't break free

I try to cry but just won't get it out

The silent scream

She remembered how it's always her fault. Why school event posters were ripped to shreds, how the school funds are always going missing or when the flowers, Daisy Bloom, took care of only to find them all smashed.

Kayla: Tell me why you're always pushing me around

And everyday you 'cause me harm

That's the reason why I feel so lonely

Even though I have my friends by my side

You're spewing lies like no tomorrow

And I'm trying to get them to see the truth

And yet you still continue

Because of your lies

And this storm is rising inside of me

Don't you regret the hurt that you always cause

It's getting harder to breathe

Like I'm trapped in the fire

Please stop your lies

Believe me she's lying like a snake

You need to understand the truth

And yet it pains me to see you walk away

And it's hurting me

I feel like I can't break free

I try to cry but just won't get it out

The silent scream

She remembered how she cried herself to sleep or how her friends always tried to help her escape the pain she was in but it wasn't always enough.

Kayla: Can't you see how I cry in pain

'Cause you continue to put me into much agony

I'm drowning in an ocean

Of pain and emotion

If someone doesn't save me right away

Please stop your lies

Believe me she's lying like a snake

You need to understand the truth

And yet it pains me to see you walk away

And it's hurting me

I feel like I can't break free

I try to cry but just won't get it out

The silent scream

My silent scream

She panted slightly as she looked up to the skies as rain poured down on her.

Wondering... When will her life change for the better? Will she find someone who she can relate to?
