(That night…)

More than 200 km off the New York coast, a small plane was flying about 100 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. The sea seemed calm and clear, without any type of islet, island or rock. Inside, the chosen kids were equipped with everything a skydiver needs. In addition, two government men were accompanying them, driving the plane.

"There's nothing," Luke said as he looked out the window, "Are you sure it's this way?"

"Hey kids, look at this" one of the men told them.

The kids approached, and the men pointed to a radar they had brought with them. In it, the regularity of the surface was shown, but there was a part of the ocean that showed some anomalies.

"The enemies are not stupid, that's clear," he explained to them, "They use a very sophisticated camouflage system and normally impossible to detect, well, until now."

"You mean, the place is invisible?" Rex asked.

"Affirmative, we know for a fact that he is in… be careful!"

"Something huge, with a long neck, a fine long beak and brown wings passed very close to the plane, so much so that it shook it, making it difficult to handle.

"A Fearrow!" Luke acknowledged.

Indeed, it was, a large Fearrow wearing a dark ring on its neck, it turned and dove for a second attack. Luke, knowing they had to stop him, opened the door and jumped in holding his Pokephone.

"Time to Ultra Evolve!"

"The device glowed and granted its power to Luke, transforming him into Pidove.

"Pidove evolves in… Tranquil!"

"Tranquil ultra evolves into… Unfezant!"

"Now that Luke had evolved into Unfezant, he spread his wings and soared into the sky, meeting the controlled Fearrow.

"Razor Wind!" Luke attacked.

Luke's initial attack grazed the Fearrow, but it countered with its Drill Peak. Luke dodged this attack as well and quickly counterattacked. But, while the air battle was being fought, something strange happened: in the middle of the ocean, an imprecise figure appeared little by little, as the agents had said, it was the result of a camouflage system. However, it was being deactivated, as if someone turned it off. Finally, a rocky island could be seen.

"It was a small rocky island, devoid of plant or animal life, with an equally rocky summit. On the top, there was a huge gray hangar, which could well hide a laboratory.

"Brave bird!" Luke attacked, passing through the Fearrow at high speed. Consequently, the dark ring that it had come loose and fell, rushing into the sea. Luckily, Luke's Pokephone captured the Pokemon before it falls.

"With the Fearrow out of the way, the chosen kids descended upon the island. Luke also descended and returned to his human form, while the agents waited for them with the engine still hot. Without having any doubt where the laboratory was, they entered that mysterious hangar.

That place was reminiscent of a mad scientist's lair: there were long tables on which there were some leftover pieces of the dark rings that the kids had taken from the Pokemon. On one side of the lair, there were large glass capsules where a strange substance floated; These, in turn, were connected to a central computer, with a large monitor. But what was really big was a kind of giant metal ring. Next to it, there were some plans, in which the kids could read: 'dimensional portal'

"Is this the portal they use?" Rose asked.

"Maybe…" Dylan reasoned, "But where are they?"

"These smells like…" Rex began to say.

Then, suddenly, the large monitor turned on and a tall man appeared on it, with a long grayish beard and a large black hat, which seemed to hide his face from the kids. For a fragment, only the flash of a pair of very bright eyes could be seen, as if it were a predator stalking its prey.

"Welcome, chosen children. We didn't formally introduce ourselves, but my name is Hans Kramer," the man told them, "So... creatures like Pokemon put their paws on children who just enter puberty? How unfortunate"

"You!" Rex shouted, "You're responsible for this! "Why do you bring Pokemon into this?"

"Why do you ask?" The man responded, "They have great power that they waste in that world. If my ex-leader had had that power, the Second World War would have ended in just few months"

"Are you… a soldier of that crazy man?" Zack asked.

"That had been like directly insulting the boss' mother; Immediately, he slammed the monitor in anger.

"Don't call a great leader like that!" He shouted in fury, "No one in the world understands his great dedication! And neither will you…!"

"Raising his hand, he activated a button. Immediately, the portal machine exploded. Fortunately, none of the kids were near it.

"Without this machine, none of you will be able to follow us anymore," the villain announced, "However, I will leave you a couple of gifts…"

The screen changed and showed a huge ship flying over New York City. Suddenly, the rear compartment exploded and, consequently, the entire ship. A huge figure came out of the smoke and fell on the city, causing a great tremor: it was a huge white colossus with black stripes, it had short legs and long arms. There was moss on his head and feet. He had three pairs of eyes: a red pair, a blue pair and a gray pair.

"…and also…" the villain continued, pressing a second button. Instantly, alarms sounded and doors slammed shut.

"Self-destruct sequence activated… 30 seconds until explosion" a voice was heard.

"See you soon, chosen ones," the boss said goodbye, turning off the monitor.

"That won't be difficult at all to get through," Mina exclaimed, pulling out the Pokephone from her, "Time to Ultra Evolve!"

The Pokephone glowed and Mina transformed into Nidoran.

"Nidoran evolves into… Nidorina!"

"Nidorina ultra evolves into… Nidoqueen!"

"Once the transformation was complete, Mina rushed towards the entrance.

"Rock Smash!" she attacked.

"A single blow knocked it down, but two more knocked it down, allowing the boys to get out of it. Having escaped, Mina returned to normal and everyone got on the plane. After taking off and being at a safe distance, everyone could see the explosion of the secret laboratory.

"We must return to the city!" Rex exclaimed to the pilot, "There's a huge Pokemon attacking!"

Immediately, the pilot turned the plane with a sharp movement, heading back towards the city. However, it would still take them a few minutes to arrive.
