(A few minutes later…)

The chosen kids were still on their way to the city, worried that their loved ones were in danger because of such a huge Pokemon.

"What will we do now that they have destroyed their own dimensional portals?" Katie asked Rex.

"Don't worry, we still have someone who can help us," he said, "We must stop Regigigas first."

"If we CAN stop him…" Zack commented.

"That's not very positive to say the least…" Mina responded.

"In part, Zack is kind of right," Dylan said, "Regigigas is huge and a legendary Pokemon, and if I remember correctly, we had a hard time stopping Dialga."

"It still hurts me to think about it," said Rex, "But if we don't try, we will never succeed: our families are in danger and, if we have the power to protect them, we must fight with everything we can."

The others agreed, although they doubted that they could stop a giant like that. However, doubts were put aside when the pilot announced his arrival in the city.

It was chaos: flames engulfed an area of the city, the roads were almost destroyed, broken, and most of the buildings were just rubble, one on top of the other. Most of the glass that would decorate its facades was gone, swept away by fire and debris, and if it wasn't stopped, this would spread to the rest of the city. In the center of all the mess, a huge figure at least 5-8 stories high stood: white, with three different pairs of eyes, long arms and short legs... it was the colossal Regigigas. Below him, several armed forces seemed to be trying to stop him, but it was all in vain because the bullets didn't work.

Regigigas, as huge as he was, did not have much effort to send everyone flying with just one slap; They looked like insects to him. The plane descended as close as it could, to avoid the giant's titanic hands. Once on the ground, he left the chosen kids. When the plane was left, the group was almost immediately detected by the enormous Regigigas. Everyone, still nervous, raised their Pokephones.

"Time to Ultra Evolve!" everyone exclaimed.

The seven lights on the Pokephones glowed, and they all transformed into their base forms. They then went through their Super evolutions, and finally to Ultra.

Regigigas wasted no time and, with another slap, tried to crush the chosen ones. They avoided him in time.

"Razor Wind!" Luke attacked.

"Flamethrower!" Rex supported him.

The wind increased Rex's flames, causing a powerful combined attack that impacted Regigigas' body. The giant seemed to back away, but quickly regained his balance.

"Hyper Beam!" Mina attacked.

"Charged Beam!" Zack attacked.

Both attacks also hit their target, more precisely on the giant Pokemon's shoulder, this unbalanced him even more and he was already about to fall.

"Water Shuriken!" Dylan attacked.

"Razor blades!" Rose attacked.

Another duo of attacks combined, hitting his target and finally causing him to fall. There would only be one more attack left to finish it off...

"Your turn, Katie!" Rex said to her.

"I-It's okay!" she responded, flying above the downed colossus, "F-Flamethrower…!"

But, unfortunately, from her mouth she only released a small flame, as if all the heat of a real fire was missing. Everyone froze: why had she failed? While everyone was thinking about it, Regigigas half stood up, extending his long arm in order to grab the being that is flying in front of him: Katie.

"Katie!" Rex shouted, flying to save her, as she had frozen in fear.

Just in time Rex pushed Katie away, only to be caught instead of her. Katie suddenly reacted and went to save her friend. However, Regigigas' other hand hit her to be thrown away from her.

"Thunder Fang!" Zack attacked, hitting Regigigas's arm, hoping that he would let go of Rex. However, he barely managed to hurt him and he counterattacked with a Fire Punch, sending him flying.

"Zack!" Rose shouted, "Vine Whip!"

Rose's whip caught Zack in time, as he lowered him more carefully, Regigigas prepared to crush him.

"Sky Attack!" Luke attacked, distracting the colossus. Thanks to this intervention, Rose managed to bring Zack to the ground. Unfortunately, the Regigigas' light blue eyes lit up, firing an Ice Beam, freezing and trapping Luke.

Before hitting the ground, Mina caught the block of ice that Luke was trapped in.

"Rock Smash!" Mina attacked, breaking the piece of ice and pulling out a trembling Luke, "Are you okay?"

"Fro... fro-frozen," Luke managed to stutter.

"Watch out guys!" Dylan warned them.

Regigigas was preparing to give them a Stomp. Mina managed to dodge that, but the colossus immediately kicked her, sending her and Luke flying. Dylan took advantage of that moment and climbed Regigigas' leg with all the speed he could. The giant tried to catch it with his other hand.

"Double Team!"

Dylan created copies of himself, so the original was able to avoid that grab. Then, he ran for his arm. However, when he was about to reach his head, two Thunder Shocks emerged from his yellow eyes, which paralyzed the Greninja. Then, with the hand in which he still grabbed Rex, he punched Dylan while he couldn't move.

Before he could do more, Regigigas felt a pain in his hand: Rex was resisting the grip and biting him. This made the colossus even more angry; then, Rex felt a shock wave run through Regigigas's arm... it hurt the Charizard and weakened it.

"Aggg… I don't know how much longer…" Rex thought, trying to endure the pain.

Luckily for him, Regigigas let him go and Katie, flying back, caught him. However, with another strong punch, she sent them both to the ground, where the others were. The chosen kids, although they only received one attack each, this one was five times stronger than the ones they had received in the past… perhaps double or triple the strength of the Genesect. Still, they couldn't give up.

"What… how about a combined attack… from everyone?" Rex asked panting.

"It's better to try…" Dylan replied, completely agreeing, as were the others.

"Flamethrower!"

"Water Shuriken!"

"Razor Blades!"

"Razor Wind!"

"Thunderbolt!"

"Hyper Beam!"

"Dragon breath!"

All the kids attacked with everything. However, Regigigas counterattacked: from his hands a great discharge of energy emerged and held back the attack of the chosen ones. Then, before they could do anything about it, the colossus exploded that energy, sending the boys in a circular area, with him in the center.

It was only a few seconds, but Rex stood up and felt like that shockwave was hours ago. Regigigas was still there: as if he didn't know what to do or who to crush first. Rex wasn't the only one getting up, because his friends were also doing so. However, with his body aching, and feeling that his strength was fading, how to win?

The answer came in an unexpected brilliance: the Pokephones had shone again... this time brighter than ever. A curious fact was that, if the fight scene was seen from the sky, as the lights were turned on, a heptagram was seen and this happened: each Pokephone rose from the hands of the chosen ones, launching a lightning in one direction, like trying to connect with that of the partner, completely drawing that symbol. And not only that, but another beam of light shot towards Regigigas, grabbing him by the neck (if he had one), the other Pokephones imitated it: each one shot a beam of light that then turned into a rope of energy that They stopped the giant's limbs, immobilizing it.

Then, an energy field extended and trapped Regigigas, causing him to fall into a portal that opened in the floor of the place. It took a few seconds, but finally, Regigigas had disappeared, and the Pokephones returned to their original state, as did their wielders.

(A few minutes later…)

Several citizens arrived at the scene, including the families of each chosen kid, as well as a medical unit sent by the government to care for both the victims and the chosen ones themselves. Although, for the latter it was not so necessary: apparently, the Pokémon's powers accelerated their healing (although this did not apply to their energy).

"Rex!" his adoptive mother said to him when they met, "Are you okay?"

"A little, yes," he responded.

"Rex…" said a voice, it was Katie, who offered her Pokephone to Rex, "I couldn't make that attack, I didn't feel like I had the ability to do it… I think I'm not worthy…"

"Don't worry, Katie…" her friend supported her, returning it to her, "I didn't trust 100% in my abilities at first either, but I know that you are truly worthy of such powers. "You just need more time."

"It's something we can't lose…" said Zack, who had approached with his parents, "Remember: our enemies have set up a base in the Pokemon world, and as we speak, who knows what they are planning."

"It's true, we must return," Rose supported, "We must stop them."

Rex also agreed, and tried to communicate with Mew.

"It doesn't work," said Luke, "I've tried that too, and I haven't gotten any response."

"So how do we get back to the Pokemon world?" Mina asked.

Dylan looked at each of their Pokephones, and a memory popped into his head.

"I have it!" He said, "Do you remember what happened the first time? These devices took us, right?"

Everyone realized it.

"Yes, that's true…" Mina and Rose said.

"Okay, then let's put them together," Rex said, holding up his. The others followed him (including the new one), forming a circle, "Please take us back to the Pokemon world!"

As if they had a life of their own, the Pokephones shone again simultaneously and a rainbow beam shot out from all of them, heading towards the sky. They assumed then that, if they measured themselves in that rainbow tunnel, they would reach the place they wanted.

"Well, mom and dad… I have to go again," Rex said to his adoptive parents, "I know I'm not exactly what you wanted, but I thank you with all my heart for allowing me to continue with this crazy adventure."

"Nothing is exactly what you want, son," his father told him, "But your mother and I always knew that he was very special to be from only one world. Go and save that one."

"Katie…" his mother said, "I'm sorry I don't believe you, but do you really want to go through with this?"

"Mom… I want to know if I will really be worthy of possessing these powers… I froze in this fight, but I want to change: I want to help Rex" her daughter responded.

"Okay, I understand," then she turned to Rex, "Take care of her, okay?"

"I will, ma'am."

All the kids then said goodbye to their families and, without much time to waste, entered the rainbow beam. Instantly, everything began to spin around them, while they realized that they were traveling at high speed in a whirlwind of colors.
