Volume 1, Chapter 3: First to Arrive

Prologue

Entrance to the Great Tomb of Nazarick, south of Five Colored Grass...

Massive amounts of energy accumulated within Nazarick as its newly constructed magic generator roared to life. Runes of the highest level suddenly appeared all around it, gently encircling it.

The intricate patterns glowed with an ethereal light, pulsating with raw power. As the generator reached its peak, a surge of electricity crackled through the air, causing the surrounding atmosphere to vibrate with anticipation.

The ground beneath Nazarick began to tremble, and the once calm winds grew fierce, swirling around the structure. The intense energy radiating from the generator attracted the attention of nearby magical beings, who instinctively gravitated towards its source.

The crackling electricity intensified, creating an electrifying aura that filled the air, signaling the beginning of a new era for Nazarick.

As the magical beings drew nearer, their eyes shimmering with curiosity and excitement, the air crackled with an electric charge. The once still atmosphere now buzzed with a potent energy, as if the very essence of magic had been awakened within the ancient walls of Nazarick.

The generator, a testament to the ingenuity and power of its creators, pulsed with a vibrant glow, casting dancing shadows against the stone pillars that adorned the grand entrance. A hushed silence fell over the onlookers as they watched in awe, their hearts pounding in anticipation of what was to come.

'HAHA.. how long has it been since we've done this?'

'Our glorious Nazarick shines bright once again. Father, we're really doing this again. All of us"

'HOLY SHIT. It's much more powerful than I remembered. Oh, Nazarick. You're finally ours once more. LEAD US TO VICTORY, O MAJESTIC BASE.'

'The Supreme Beings have rebuilt our home. We shall make them proud.'

Everyone in the capital city of Regnum Dei paused to watch as a sudden, enormous beam of light emerged from within it and stretched towards the sky, signaling the return of Nazarick to life and the start of its interdimensional teleportation sequence.

After every few seconds, the enormous beam of light became brighter and more powerful. Nazarick raced up to the heavens after gathering enough energy and disappeared from its previous location.

The citizens of Regnum Dei marveled at the awe-inspiring sight, their hearts filled with a mix of excitement and curiosity. As the beam of light intensified, whispers of anticipation spread throughout the crowd, wondering where Nazarick would reappear and what wonders awaited them in this new chapter of their city's history.

'BOOM-SWIRL'

'FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH'

Nazarick sped through the empty expanse of outer space toward 79K16PL, passing through several galaxies that had been subjugated by the Supreme Beings and leaving a tremendous quantity of energy in its wake.

As it begins its final approach, its speed decreases, and its magical energy generator reduces its power output. It hums lightly. The base crew eagerly prepares for their arrival, knowing that the mission ahead on 79K16PL will require all their strength and wit.

As the humming subsides, the familiar silence takes over, creating an air of anticipation. Every member knows that their skills will be put to the ultimate test as they prepare to face the unknown challenges that await them on the mysterious planet.

'By the 41, what a speed...'

'HOW ARE WE MOVING THIS FAST?!'

"We're almost there, everyone. Let's decide where to place Nazarick. We need to consider the strategic advantages of different locations before making a final decision. We should take into account the availability of resources and potential threats in the surrounding areas." Pandora addressed everyone in the throne room.

"Nigredo, Aureole. Find us a suitable location that meets these criteria. We need a place that provides both defensive capabilities and access to vital resources for our survival on this unknown planet."

Nigredo and Aureole then activate the holographic projection in the Throne Room to search for a suitable location, one that is concealed, easily defendable, and has a sufficient amount of space for their whole army in case a fight breaks out.

As the holographic projection flickers to life, Nigredo and Aureole meticulously analyze various regions, considering factors such as natural barriers and proximity to vital resources. Their objective is to find a hidden sanctuary that not only offers strategic advantages but also ensures the safety and well-being of their entire army, should a conflict arise.

They are assisted by their newly established Special Intelligence Division in this process. They keep looking while communicating mentally until they've located the best possible location.

Once the location is identified, Aureole and her team waste no time putting their plan into action. With the help of their Special Intelligence Division, they gather detailed information about the chosen region, mapping out its terrain, climate, and potential threats.

They analyze every aspect, from the availability of fresh water sources to the presence of natural resources that could sustain their army in times of need. Additionally, they consider the region's geopolitical situation, assessing its proximity to potential allies and enemies.

This thorough analysis ensures that no stone is left unturned in their search for the perfect sanctuary.

'Aureole, how about this?' Nigredo asked, pointing to a detailed map of the region they had been studying. Aureole studied the map carefully, her eyes scanning over the marked areas and annotations. After a moment of contemplation, she nodded in agreement.

'I think the same thing too. This location shall do,' Aureole declared confidently.

Then Aureole addresses Pandora.

"Pandora. We have found a good place for our base of operations. It's an open grassland near a forest in quite a vast area only a little south of a mountain range; the meadows are not fully flat and have somewhat variable height, which might assist us in concealing Nazarick from prying eyes. The proximity to the forest also provides us with a readily available source of natural resources, such as timber and game, which can support our operations and sustain our needs. In addition, the mountain range to the north acts as a natural barrier, further enhancing the security of our base and limiting potential threats from that direction. It's in the heart of the continent, which makes it incredibly strategic for us. We've also discovered a large lake not far from the mountain range, as well as an open plain with a mild quantity of negative energy close to the south-east." Nigredo explained to Pandora

'About damn time. This throne shakes so much.' Pandora grumbled.

"Perfect. Then we'll settle there. Hold on tight as we begin the process of the landscape warping." Pandora said. "Charon. Initiate landscape warping at once and dampen the warping effects as much as possible. We don't want any unnecessary collateral damage." Pandora instructed.

[Yes, sir. Initiating landscape warping now. Dampening effects to minimize collateral damage, understood.]

The room suddenly started to vibrate as the landscape outside began to warp and shift. Pandora held onto the armrests tightly.

"Why does this place rumble so much?! I thought the upgrade came with a shock dampener." Shalltear said angrily, preparing herself for what's about to happen.

"It is dampened, you fool. If not, then we would've been a blended tomato!" Aura hissed at Shalltear's out-of-place, almost rhetorical question. "Seriously, how fucking dense can you be?" she muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes. Shalltear recoiled at Aura's sharp retort, her eyes widening in surprise.

"I'm just saying, it's unsettling to feel the constant rumbling despite the supposed upgrade. I expected a smoother experience, that's all," Shalltear defended herself, her voice tinged with frustration. Aura scoffed and crossed her arms, unimpressed by Shalltear's explanation.

"Well, get used to it because complaining won't change anything," she snapped back, her irritation apparent.

"You are seriously one lousy company to be dealing with," Shalltear muttered under her breath.

"So are you," Aura shot back, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "But hey, at least we have each other to vent our frustrations to."

"Like hell I would; why would I even want to vent my frustrations to you," Shalltear retorted, her eyes narrowing. "I'd rather be alone than stuck with someone as fucking annoying as you, fucking short stack."

Aura's eyes flashed with anger as she clenched her fists. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did my presence inconvenience you, your majesty? Perhaps you'd prefer the company of someone more worthy of your royal standards." She scoffed, her voice laced with bitterness. "I'll gladly leave you to your solitude then."

"Would you two shut the fuck up already?" Cocytus interrupted, his deep voice resonating through the room. "We haven't even arrived at our destination yet, and you're already at each other's throats. Save your energy for when it actually matters." Cocytus's stern gaze silenced both Aura and Shalltear, leaving an uncomfortable silence in the air.

"Unfuckingbelieveable." Victim said, looking at his watch, "Great, not even ten minutes in, that's got to be a record if I ever saw one. Just fucking great." Victim sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.

"Heheh, now I wish we had brought some popcorn," Lupusregina chuckled, breaking the tension in the room. "It seems like this journey will be quite eventful indeed."

"Not you too, you damn drama queen," Solution muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes. "Can we please focus on the task at hand instead of making unnecessary comments?"

"Fucking killjoy," Lupusregina retorted, sticking out her tongue playfully.

"Can everyone please just calm down and stay focused?" Pandora pleaded, his voice filled with exasperation. "I should've brought my ear plugs for this mission."

The vibrations intensified, causing the chandeliers to sway precariously above them. Pandora's grip on the armrests tightened even further as he braced himself for the impending chaos.

The vibration grew stronger, and everything in the room began to rattle. Lupusregina's playful expression turned into a worried frown as she looked around for any signs of danger.

Everyone was preparing for the impending shock. Then it happened.

'BOOM!'

'FWOOSH!'

Planet 6G, Star System 79K16PL

Nazarick has established itself in the ground, delving deep into it. Its abrupt warping resulted in a loud boom sound, dust flying everywhere, and a shockwave loud enough to be heard in both the adjacent cities and towns.

People in the area assumed it was an explosion or a strong earthquake. Birds were flying away from the incident's radius, only to be knocked out of the sky by the shockwave.

The forest's wildlife rapidly dispersed, with flocks scattering and hiding from a potential predator. The sudden disturbance sent ripples of panic through the nearby villages as people rushed to find shelter and protect their loved ones.

Rumors quickly spread, with whispers of an unknown catastrophe or a supernatural phenomenon taking place. Authorities were alerted, and emergency response teams were dispatched to assess the situation and provide assistance to those affected.

'Gods, what the heck is going on?'

'What the?'

'What in the world is happening?'

'Gods, please. Please look after us.'

Everyone who lived in the surrounding city had those same sentiments.

Everyone in the city hastened back to their homes out of concern for their safety. The city guards were scattered across the city to make sure that everyone made it back to their houses.

They patrolled the streets, guiding and reassuring the citizens as they hurriedly made their way home. Some guards even offered assistance to those who needed help navigating through the bustling crowds.

As the chaos grew, the city guards worked tirelessly to maintain order and ensure the safety of the citizens. They formed a human chain, linking arms to create a barrier between the panicking crowd and any potential danger.

Their presence was a comforting sight amidst the fear and uncertainty that hung in the air. With calm voices and steady hands, they directed people towards the nearest shelters, providing guidance and support every step of the way.

In the midst of the commotion, the guards' dedication and selflessness shone through as they went above and beyond their duty to protect and serve.

Grand Square of Primis, Regnum Dei...

"It appears that Nazarick and our children have at last entered that realm." Touch Me said.

"Just hoping we made the right choice, Touch. There, I hoped for Aura and Mare's safety. We can only wait and watch them now, hoping for the best." Bukubukuchagama said to Touch.

"Even I, Chagama, continue to question whether our decision is the right one. This, in my opinion, is wrong. We are all essentially using our own children as bait. We must consider the potential consequences and ethical implications of our actions. It is essential to explore alternative strategies that prioritize the safety and well-being of our children rather than subjecting them to such risks. "

"We don't want this to happen, Touch. But, in my opinion, you are underestimating our youngsters. They're all grownups now, completely capable of dealing with situations like these. Touch; have some faith. That also applies to you, Chagama. Aura and Mare are not the same young elves you previously knew. They're both accomplished warriors who have spent millions of years honing their abilities. They have faced countless challenges and emerged victorious. Their experience and skills make them more than capable of handling any situation that comes their way. We should trust in their abilities and have confidence in their judgment. " Takemikazuchi addressed both Touch and Bukubukuchagama.

"They are my babies, regardless of whether they are adults. Nothing can change it. As a mother, I will always be concerned about their well-being. Any danger, regardless of how slight, is nonetheless a threat. You should be aware, because you are a warrior, that all it takes to paralyze an unconquerable foe is one fortunate shot. Therefore, I remain vigilant and attentive to any signs of vulnerability or potential harm that may come their way. After all, even the strongest of warriors can be taken down by a single unexpected blow. Hence, my role as a mother is to ensure their safety and protect them from any lurking dangers, no matter how insignificant they may seem." Chagama stated this to Takemikazuchi.

"Sis, Takemikazuchi is right, in my opinion. My nephews are not incompetent; they are quite capable. I can relate to your worry since I also want Shalltear to never suffer any harm. But I have faith in her. They can all do it. Let's just wait and see for the time being." Peroroncino told his sister, Bukubukuchagama.

"Your opinions are all valid, all of you. It is our responsibility as parents to ensure that no one puts our children in danger. But they are not vulnerable, neither today nor in the future. They rely on one another and will continue to do so. So, worry not, my friends. They have learned everything they need to know from us and their experiences. We have taught them to be resilient, independent, and capable of making their own decisions. Our role now is to trust in their abilities and provide guidance when needed. Let us have faith in their strength and allow them to navigate the world with confidence. They are all well prepared. They will succeed." Momonga was comforting his fellow Supreme Beings while glancing at everyone.

"We will now monitor their progress."

"Thank you, Charon. Stand by for now." Pandora said as he walked down the steps of the throne.

[Standing by...]

Pandora's mind raced with anticipation as he descended the steps, eager to embark on the mission that lay ahead. With a determined expression, he turned his attention towards the task at hand, knowing that time was of the essence.

The weight of his decision still hung heavy on his shoulders as he descended, each step echoing in the grand hall. The room, once filled with the chatter and laughter of the gods, now fell silent as Pandora's footsteps reverberated through the marble floor.

The gravity of his next move was not lost on him, for it held the potential to change the course of eternity Pandora begins giving out orders to everyone as Nazarick's AI waits for one. They must begin collecting information, hiding Nazarick, and strengthening its defenses.

"Please gather in a circle. Let's get started on our pre-planned assignment now that we're here."

"Nigredo and Aureole, please head the Special Intelligence Division as best you can. Let's begin by obtaining any information about the surrounding region. Send your stealth scout outdoors and make sure there are no sightings or information breaches. We have the element of surprise to our benefit, so let us not waste it. Go to your division room and begin scrying."

"Attempt to decipher this world's language so that we can begin our adventure. Once we have a better understanding of the local language, we can establish communication channels with the inhabitants and gather valuable insights about the region. It would be wise to gather information about any potential threats or hostile factions in order to assess the level of danger we might encounter during our mission."

"Stay vigilant and prioritize the safety of our team as we embark on this new and unfamiliar journey."

"Try to research the nations of this planet if you can. Learn about their government structure, politics, market, history, internal and external affairs, relationship with other nations, monetary system, military might, technological level (both science and magic), notable individuals, their underworld and illicit activities, and so on."

"Take as many samples as possible; we also need to investigate the world's native animals. Examine their flora and fauna and compare the nutritional value to that of our own. Have the scouts collect as many poisons as possible and deliver them to our scientists, who will assess the poisons for effectiveness and potency and devise a treatment if necessary."

"Furthermore, it is crucial to gather information on the world's political structure and alliances. Understanding their diplomatic relations and potential conflicts will provide valuable insights for future interactions. We should prioritize studying the local population's cultural practices, beliefs, and customs to ensure respectful engagement and avoid misunderstandings."

"Of course, I will begin shortly after this concludes," said Nigredo, Aureole nodding alongside her.

"You are a specialist in zoology, Aura. Can I count on you to help the Special Intelligence Division research this world's creatures? Examine their dietary habits, level of threat, habitat, hunting style, life expectancy, and other characteristics."

"If at all possible, attempt to tame them so that they will obey our commands. We need to gather as much information as possible to understand the creatures' behavior and the potential risks they may pose."

"Documenting any unique adaptations or evolutionary traits will greatly contribute to our research on this world's ecosystem."

"You can count on me, big brother Pandora. No animals will ever escape my eyes." Aura said, puffing her chest with pride.

Aura's confidence in her ability to spot and monitor the creatures reassured Pandora. He knew that her keen observation skills would be crucial in ensuring the safety of their research team.

With her dedication and vigilance, they could uncover valuable insights into the creatures' behavior and make informed decisions about their interactions with them.

"You know nature best, Mare. Can I make the same request of you to aid the Special Intelligence Division in their research of this planet's flora? Learn about their structure, biochemistry, fruits, and substances they generate, as well as molecular genetics and taxonomy."

"Sort each plant into groups according to its kind and level of risk. Look for any evidence of sentient plants on this planet. We must also get a sample of the poison to be tested on various creatures and types in order to determine the potency of each type of poison."

"Include a category for both quick-acting and slow-acting poisons. It is crucial to investigate the ecological interactions between the planet's flora and other organisms, such as pollinators, herbivores, and decomposers."

"Understanding these relationships will provide valuable insights into the overall functioning of the planet's ecosystem. Exploring the potential medicinal properties of the plants could lead to the discovery of new drugs or therapeutic compounds that could benefit both humans and other species."

"Ehh.. Su-Sure. I'll do it." Mare replied.

"Would you stop that already? Sheesh! I've seen cats with better self-esteem." Aura said to Mare, causing some to chuckle at her statement.

Aura's comment seemed to be in response to Mare's lack of confidence or hesitation in taking on the task. It appeared that Aura was trying to lighten the mood and make a joke, but it also highlighted the importance of self-esteem and belief in one's abilities.

"Bu-Bu-"

"Bu-Bu- What?"

"Nothing! Just forget about it". Mare shuts her down.

"Aura, be nice to your brother." Albedo said this while patting Mare's shoulder.

Mare's response to Aura's comment suggests that he may have been about to express his doubts or concerns about the task at hand. However, Mare quickly dismisses his own thoughts and chooses not to share them with the group.

Albedo's comment implies that Aura's teasing may have been a common occurrence between the siblings but also emphasizes the importance of treating each other with kindness and support.

"Yeah, yeah." Aura replied. She playfully nudged Mare's arm and added, "Don't worry, we've got this. We always do."

"Anyway."

"Demiurge and Entoma. I want you to establish security guidelines for each floor. Put everyone in combat teams that are perfectly composed depending on their fighting styles and strengths. Teams comprising defenders, strikers, and well-balanced generalists are necessary for widespread use. Assign someone with exceptional qualities to head each sort of team.

I want the two of you to create security procedures in case Nazarick is ever breached. Begin measuring the largest radius of defense that we are currently capable of. This perimeter will expand greatly in the near future, so I want you to prepare ahead and make the appropriate modifications when it happens.

Currently, it is not encouraged to engage in aerial battle; dragons do exist in this world, and we must be as covert as possible given that only dragons and wyverns are capable of flight. For the time being, we solely concentrate on ground troops, place a premium on stealth and speed, and only send out units that are able to move across the terrain quickly or covertly.

In the future, as our forces expand, we will need to adapt our strategies to include aerial combat. It is crucial that we invest in training and equipping our troops with anti-dragon capabilities to effectively counter their threat. We should consider establishing alliances or partnerships with other factions that possess aerial forces, as this will provide us with a significant advantage in future battles."

'Correct, aerial combat is not an option right now. There are too many factors that are unaccounted for. But once we established our hold, there was nothing we couldn't do. I suppose it is best for us to start devising a defensive plan and then move on to our next objective. Once we have a solid defensive plan in place, we can effectively protect our position and assess the situation more accurately. By prioritizing our next objective after securing our hold, we can strategically allocate resources and manpower to ensure a successful outcome.'

"Entoma. I want you to gather every bug capable of digging into the earth, every insect capable of spitting corrosive acid, and every insect with a tough shell since we may require that type first."

"Demiurge, I also want you to assemble demons with the power to manage crowds and demons with the ability to engage in swift, agile aerial warfare. Although I doubt dragons would attack Nazarick, it's important to be prepared for the worst. Investigate the surrounding region and design a strategy for effectively defending Nazarick, including the placement of various traps and the manipulation of the terrain to our advantage."

"Finally, figure out how to keep Nazarick hidden. The elevation differs somewhat. So, maybe make the region appear like a hill, then maybe construct another dummy hill so it doesn't look suspicious. The less anyone in this world knows about us, the better our prospects. In addition, it would be wise to establish a network of spies and informants to gather information about potential threats or suspicious activities in the surrounding area."

"By having eyes and ears in the region, we can stay one step ahead and respond swiftly to any potential dangers. It is crucial to train our forces in both offensive and defensive tactics, ensuring that every member of Nazarick is capable of protecting our stronghold effectively. With a well-rounded strategy and a vigilant approach, we can maintain our advantage."

"We'll get started as soon as possible. Our first step will be to establish a network of informants and surveillance systems to gather intelligence on any potential threats or suspicious activities. We will conduct regular training exercises to sharpen our forces' skills and ensure they are prepared for any scenario that may arise. With these proactive measures in place, we can confidently safeguard Nazarick and its inhabitants. " Demiurge replied.

"Okey dokey". Entome continued.

"Let's talk about the Black Ops Division now. Although your section is temporarily unoccupied, I do not want you to get complacent or neglect your responsibilities. It is crucial that we maintain a high level of readiness and preparedness, even during times of relative calm. Our enemies are always watching and waiting for an opportunity to strike."

"By staying vigilant and proactive, we can stay one step ahead and ensure the safety of Nazarick remains uncompromised. As we acquire more intelligence, your division will be the busiest and most critical in analyzing and assessing potential threats. Your expertise and dedication will be essential in identifying any patterns or suspicious activities that could pose a risk to our operations."

"By continuously honing your skills and staying updated on the latest developments, we can effectively counter any potential threats and maintain our position as the pinnacle of power in this world. Stay focused and diligent, and together we will secure Nazarick's supremacy."

"There will be a lot of people to eliminate, enemy headquarters to attack, black markets to snoop on, underground organizations to look into, and much more that require our attention and vigilance. As we embark on these missions, it is crucial to prioritize gathering intelligence and conducting thorough investigations to identify key targets and dismantle their operations."

"By executing precise strikes and utilizing our resources strategically, we will ensure the continued dominance of Nazarick in all realms of power. So, for the time being, aid every other division to the best of your ability. This will not only keep you sharp and prepared for future missions but also foster a sense of camaraderie among the different divisions."

"By assisting other divisions, you will gain valuable insights into their operations and potentially identify new targets or opportunities for the Black Ops Division. Our success as a team depends on each division's collective effort and adaptability."

"By collaborating with other divisions, you can also enhance your own skills and knowledge, as you may learn new techniques or strategies from them. Supporting other divisions demonstrates our unity and solidarity as a cohesive force, which can be crucial in building a strong reputation and maintaining the trust of our allies."

"Together, we can achieve even greater accomplishments and ensure the continued success of the Black Ops Division."

"Hmph! Just tell me once our target has been verified. We'll make sure they don't see it coming. Our team is ready to execute the plan flawlessly. Our target will be caught off guard and left with no chance to react." Shalltear said, pouting her cheeks.

'I swear if she weren't my cousin and Lord Peroroncino's daughter, I would've gotten rid of her long ago. She constantly pushes my patience to its limits with her insufferable behavior. It's truly a test of my loyalty and family ties to tolerate her presence. However, I must admit that her cunning and strategic thinking are invaluable assets to our team. Despite her irritating demeanor, she has proven time and again that she can outwit even the most formidable opponents. Such a weird combination of traits makes her both a liability and an asset, and I can't help but wonder how she manages to maintain such a delicate balance. It's as if her irritating behavior is a shield, hiding her true capabilities and intentions from those who underestimate her.' Pandora thought to himself.

Pandora often found himself questioning the fairness of fate as he pondered how someone so closely related to him could be so difficult to bear. Despite his internal struggle, he remained determined to uphold the bonds of kinship and maintain a semblance of harmony within their family circle.

He reminded himself of the countless memories they shared, the laughter and tears that had woven their lives together. Pandora knew that beneath her challenging exterior, there was a vulnerable soul yearning for understanding and acceptance.

With each passing day, he vowed to find a way to bridge the gap between them and nurture a deeper connection based on empathy and compassion.

"Whatever. Cocytus, let's talk about your division."

"Right," Cocytus said, huffing a small breeze of cold air. "Finally, war is something that I am familiar with."

"I apologize, but your division will not be receiving any attention at this time. However, once we announce our presence to the world, mortals will begin to move here and create a metropolis near us. Under our aegis, it will be your responsibility to protect them."

"You will be entrusted with ensuring their safety and well-being as they navigate their new lives in this burgeoning metropolis. Your division's role will be crucial in establishing a harmonious coexistence between our kind and the mortal inhabitants."

"It will be my honor. I was kind of hoping for a more bloody battle, but I understand the importance of fostering peace and coexistence."

"I want you to start by categorizing our army into ranks, roles, and kinds. Divide them into several groups. Assign a commander to each of the hierarchy's groups, such as team, squad, section, platoon, echelon, company, batallion, regiment, and so on."

"In the meantime, prepare your division in case something goes wrong. This will ensure a clear chain of command and effective communication within our army. Establish a system for regular training and drills to keep our soldiers prepared for any unexpected situations that may arise."

"A well-organized and prepared division is crucial for maintaining the safety and success of our army. Furthermore, it is essential to assign competent and experienced leaders to each level of the hierarchy, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills to make quick and informed decisions."

"This will enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our army as well as foster a sense of trust and confidence among our soldiers. Ultimately, by prioritizing organization, communication, training, and leadership, we can establish a formidable division capable of overcoming any challenges that may arise."

"It will be done. I will implement regular performance evaluations and training programs to continually develop and improve the skills of our leaders. I'll make sure that they stay up-to-date with the latest strategies and techniques, enabling them to adapt to changing circumstances effectively."

"Finally, for our Diplomacy Specialists. You won't be taking action right away, just like the Military Division. Wait until the Special Intelligence Division has finished compiling the relevant data before moving further. I believe it would be better to begin your mission as a merchant or businessman, as merchants are often regarded favorably."

"This approach will allow you to establish connections and build trust with key individuals in the region. Adopting a non-threatening role initially will provide you with valuable insights into the local dynamics and help you navigate any potential diplomatic challenges more effectively. For the time being, just prepare for the impending assignment."

"This will allow you to establish connections and gather valuable information discreetly. Familiarize yourself with the local customs and culture to ensure a smooth integration into the diplomatic landscape. Patience and thorough preparation are keys to diplomatic endeavors."

"By taking the time to build relationships and understand the local dynamics, you will be better equipped to anticipate and address any potential obstacles that may arise during your assignment."

"Moreover, immersing yourself in the local customs and culture will not only enhance your credibility but also foster stronger connections with the local community, ultimately leading to more successful diplomatic outcomes."

Sebas, Yuri, Victim, and Lupusregina nodded to his explanation. They understood the importance of building relationships and immersing oneself in the local customs, as it would enable them to navigate the diplomatic landscape effectively. With this understanding, they were ready to embark on their assignment with a deeper sense of purpose and commitment.

"Of course, we'll do as you say." Sebas affirming.

He continued, "We will make sure to prioritize establishing strong connections with the local community and immersing ourselves in their customs. This will not only enhance our diplomatic efforts but also foster mutual understanding and cooperation."

The team members exchanged determined glances, ready to put their words into action.

"All right, everybody. I appreciate your time. You may now begin working on your task. Please don't be afraid to ask me or your colleagues for help if you have any questions or want clarification. I wish you success with your task. Remember to stay focused and manage your time wisely."

"Trust in your abilities, and make sure to communicate any challenges or hurdles you encounter. We are all here to support each other. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing the great results of your hard work."

Special Intelligence Division Room

Along with thousands of their members, Nigredo and Aureole were busy gathering data on this world that may be helpful to them in completing this task. They were collecting data from every facet of every nation.

It's only been forty-eight hours since their division began operations, and they've gathered a massive amount of data. Equipped with state-of-the-art satellites, Nigredo and Aureole embarked on a mission of reconnaissance and observation.

Their orbiting platforms allowed them to gather critical data from various angles, analyzing everything from military deployments to natural resources. As the hours ticked by, their efforts yielded a colossal amount of valuable information.

They worked tirelessly, cross-referencing the data with intelligence reports and historical patterns to identify potential threats and opportunities. With each passing moment, the gravity of their task became more apparent, driving them to ensure accuracy and precision in their analysis.

The team knew that the stakes were high, as any miscalculation or oversight could have dire consequences. They understood the weight of their responsibility and the impact their findings would have on decision-making at the highest levels.

Every detail mattered, and they left no stone unturned in their pursuit of comprehensive and reliable insights. The pressure mounted, but they remained focused and committed to delivering the most accurate assessment possible.

Their dedication and expertise were evident in the meticulousness of their work as they painstakingly sifted through mountains of data to extract meaningful patterns and trends.

"Amazing, we managed to gather all of this in just a little over 40 hours. It's a testament to our teamwork, dedication, and efficient planning. Our collective efforts have truly paid off, as we now have everything we need to proceed with our project. From brainstorming ideas to executing the tasks with precision, every minute counted towards achieving our goal. It's incredible how much can be accomplished when we work together towards a common objective."

"Well, yes. This mission is in category 6. We must be very careful with every step we take. The stakes are incredibly high, and any misstep could have dire consequences. Our team has undergone extensive training to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead. We must execute our tasks meticulously, ensuring that every decision is calculated and every action is deliberate. The success of this mission depends on our unwavering focus and attention to detail."

"Still, don't you think that this is too easy? I mean, it feels like there should be more of a challenge or some sort of obstacle to overcome. It almost feels like we're being handed the solution on a silver platter without having to put in much effort. It makes me wonder if there's something we're missing or if there's a catch that we haven't realized yet."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, just look at the amount of intel we gathered. Don't you think it's a little too much? A category 6 threat usually doesn't go easy on information gathering."

"Now that you mentioned it, it does feel like it."

The atmosphere in the room suddenly feels heavy and tense, as if a dark cloud has settled over us. The once lively conversation comes to a halt, and an uncomfortable silence fills the air. It's strange how just a simple observation can change the entire mood of a gathering.

"You think the Six' descendants knew about our arrival? It's hard to say for sure. The Six were an ancient and secretive society, and their descendants have likely inherited that same level of secrecy. However, rumors and whispers have always surrounded their bloodline, suggesting that they possess knowledge and foresight beyond what is ordinary. Perhaps they knew of our arrival long before we even set foot in their ancestral lands. Only time will tell if they are prepared for the inevitable clash that awaits us."

"Who knows.. But I suspect they already knew that the 41 would try to stop them one day and warned their descendants beforehand. They may have left behind hidden clues and messages, ensuring that their knowledge would be passed down through the generations. Perhaps they foresaw the inevitable clash with the 41 and took measures to protect their legacy. Only time will tell if their preparations were successful and if their descendants will rise up to face this looming threat."

"That does make sense."

"Anyway, let's just continue. Wait, what is that?"

"What is what?"

"I don't know. These villagers are running around, but their faces are those of panic; this can't be a festival or a celebration. Something must have happened to cause such fear and chaos among them. Perhaps there's a dangerous situation or an imminent threat that we are unaware of."

"This village is under attack. These groups of knights mercilessly killed them. Damn! I can imagine the smell of their blood from here. Preying on the weak and defenseless? Utterly disgusting. It is heartbreaking to witness such senseless violence and cruelty. The villagers must be living in constant fear, desperately in need of protection and justice. It sickens me to witness such brutality, as the knights show no remorse for their actions. How can anyone find pleasure in preying on the weak and defenseless? These villagers deserved better—a chance at life, not to be slaughtered like animals. We must take a stand against these merciless knights and ensure justice is served for the innocent lives they have taken."

"You think we should report this to Pandora? The village is just a couple of kilometers from here, practically right outside our doorstep. He and Narberal might want to handle this. He's the leader, after all. Plus, they have more experience dealing with such situations and can assess the threat level accurately. It's better to inform them so that they can take appropriate measures and ensure the safety of the village and its residents."

"Men, carry on with your work! We'll let Pandora know about this incident. We are here to safeguard the living, and I'll be damned if I allow this to happen." Nigredo addressed everyone in the division room. Nigredo and Aureole then sprint towards Pandora's office.

As they raced through the corridors, their footsteps echoing behind them, Nigredo's mind raced with a sense of urgency. The safety of the living was their top priority, and they needed to inform Pandora immediately about the incident before any further harm could be done.

They burst through the doors of Pandora's office, out of breath and filled with a mix of anxiety and determination. Pandora looked up from his desk, his expression a mix of curiosity and concern.

Nigredo wasted no time in explaining the situation, recounting every detail of the incident and emphasizing the potential danger it posed to the living. Aureole stood by Nigredo's side, her eyes fixed on Pandora, her own sense of urgency mirrored in her posture.

As Nigredo spoke, Pandora's face grew more serious, his brows furrowing with worry. It was clear that he understood the gravity of the situation. Pandora's mind raced, trying to comprehend the full extent of the potential danger.

He knew that decisive action needed to be taken, and he couldn't afford to waste any more time. With a deep breath, he interrupted Nigredo's explanation.

"Thank you for informing me, Nigredo," Pandora said, his voice steady but filled with determination.

"We cannot allow this threat to escalate any further. We need to gather all the available resources and devise a plan immediately."

Aureole nodded in agreement, her eyes never leaving Pandora's face. She admired his resolute demeanor, knowing that his leadership was crucial in times of crisis. As they began discussing the details of their strategy, Pandora's mind raced, calculating every possible scenario and anticipating the enemy's moves.

It was a race against time, and failure was not an option. Together, they would face this threat head-on and protect their people at all costs.

"Evil boss, are you okay? You've been quiet since the bar; don't tell me the booze finally got to you," a girl said with a teasing smile, trying to lighten the mood.

"No, I'm just a little lightheaded, that's all," the masked girl replied.

"But don't worry, I'll be back to my usual self soon enough." She adjusted her mask and took a deep breath, regaining her composure.

"But thanks for asking, Tia," she said sincerely. "It means a lot to know that you're looking out for me."

Tia nodded. "Of course, boss. We're a team, and we always have each other's backs. Evileye, if you ever need anything, just let me know."

"Uhmm. I'm the boss."

Evileye chuckled, "I know, Lakyus. But it's nice to have a teammate like you who cares."

"Since when have you become so sentimental?" Lakyus teased, a playful glint in her eyes. "I guess even the toughest of us have our soft spots."

"Evil boss has found a man; oh my god, it's finally happening." Tia joked, joining in on the playful banter. "Who would've thought?"

"Forget finding a man; it must be an elopement. Gotta be." Tina added, laughing along with the others. "I can already see the headlines: 'Evileye, the fearsome boss, secretly elopes with a mysterious lover."

"You're all dead wrong, you damn comedians; like I said, I'm just a little lightheaded." Evileye replied with a smirk. "But hey, if anyone wants to plan my elopement, I won't say no to a free wedding."

"But why are you lightheaded, though? This is the first time I've seen you like this." Lakyus asked, concerned. "Maybe you should get it checked out, just to be safe."

"Nah, I'm fine." Evileye waved off Lakyus' concern. "Probably just need some rest and a good meal. It's nothing to worry about." Evileye reassured her friends, trying to downplay her symptoms.

"Okay, but if it persists or gets worse, promise me you'll see a doctor," Lakyus insisted, not fully convinced by Evileye's dismissal.

"Yeah, yeah, damn, you're starting to sound like my grandmother; next you're gonna say, Do this, don't do that, blah blah blah," Evileye replied playfully, trying to lighten the mood. "But don't worry; if things don't improve, I promise I'll consider seeing a doctor."

Tia and Tina looked at Lakyus with funny expressions, finding Evileye's lighthearted remark hilarious and finding a new word to call Lakyus.

They exchanged glances before Tia finally spoke up: "Oh, grandma, you're such a worrywart! But don't worry, we'll make sure Evileye takes care of herself."

"Yes, Nana, we'll keep an eye on her and make sure she follows through with seeing a doctor if needed," Tina added with a reassuring smile.

"I don't remember giving birth to a girl who would then give birth to two annoying granddaughters," Lakyus grumbled playfully, earning a chorus of laughter from the twins. "But I suppose I'll let it slide this time."

"Oh, forgive us, oh mighty grandmother," the twins chimed in unison, playfully bowing before her. "We promise to make up for our annoying ways by showering you with love and affection."

"I changed my mind. You two should've registered as standup comedians; that way you might win national awards," Lakyus chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "But I'll settle for the love and affection, thank you."

They then turned their heads towards Evileye, who had been watching the playful exchange under her mask with a small smile.

"You two certainly know how to lighten the mood," she commented. "I'm grateful to have such entertaining company. But alas, I'm gonna have to abandon you for a smooth night's sleep. Goodnight, my dear friends."

With a wave, Evileye bid them farewell and made her way towards her room, leaving Lakyus and the twins behind, still chuckling at their comedic banter.

Evileye, sleeping in her cozy room, rolled over in bed, her mind still filled with the laughter and camaraderie she had experienced with Lakyus and the twins. The dark silence of the night enveloped her, providing a soothing atmosphere for her to drift off into a peaceful slumber.

In the darkness, she could hear the faint sound of crickets chirping outside her window, their gentle melody lulling her further into relaxation. But those sounds start to fade and change into a crackling sound, breaking the tranquility of the night.

Curiosity piqued, Evileye slowly opened her eyes and saw a black portal beginning to form in the corner of her room. The swirling darkness seemed to beckon her; she immediately cast a spell, and a large crystal sword materialized in her hand.

With caution, she approached the portal, ready to defend herself if necessary. As she stepped closer, a rush of cold air engulfed her, sending shivers down her spine. Evileye hesitated for a moment before mustering up the courage to walk closer to the portal.

As she neared, she could hear faint whispers emanating from within, calling out to her in a hauntingly familiar voice. Evileye took a deep breath and put the crystal sword in front of her, using it as a shield against whatever awaited on the other side.

With each step, the whispers grew louder, their words becoming more distinct and filled with urgency. As she reached the threshold of the portal, a sudden force pulled Evileye towards it, causing her heart to race with both fear and anticipation.

She resisted the pull, gripping the crystal sword tighter, and broke free from the unknown force pulling her. She fell backward onto the cold, hard ground. As she regained her composure, Evileye noticed a faint glow emanating from the portal, and a female figure wearing weird armor and a long sword stepped out from within.

The figure's eyes glowed under the night sky, their vibrant blue hue piercing through the darkness. Evileye's curiosity overcame her initial fear as she observed the figure's graceful movements and regal presence. Intrigued, she cautiously approached, her crystal sword glinting in the moonlight.

The mysterious figure turned towards Evileye, her expression a mix of curiosity and caution. Sensing no immediate threat, Evileye mustered up the courage to speak, her voice trembling slightly as she asked,

"Who are you and where did you come from?"

"My name's not important, mosquito. What matters is that I have been watching you for quite some time," the figure replied, her voice dripping with an air of superiority. "You're a long way from home, or whatever ruin it has become. I've been observing your actions and your power, and I must say, I'm intrigued."

"Black armor, red sword, those blue eyes with a six-star pattern—let me guess. You must be a descendant of the Six." The figure chuckled, her eyes gleaming with amusement.

"You catch on quickly, mosquito. Yes, I am indeed a descendant of the Six, a lineage that holds immense power and ancient knowledge. But enough about me; I am here for you. I believe you possess unique potential that could be of great use to our cause. With your abilities and my guidance, we could reshape the world and restore what has been lost. Join me, and together we can bring about a new era of strength and prosperity."

"Hmm, give me a minute to think about it; oh wait, no, I won't, so kindly go fuck yourself. Your ancestor almost wiped out my entire family, and I won't be a part of any plan that involves aligning with someone like you. Your offer may sound tempting, but I value my own principles and the well-being of others more than any potential power or knowledge. Goodbye."

"Oh, now that's just hella rude. I won't ask you a second time to reconsider. And damn, oh damn, this is not a request. You resist, you die," the female figure said with a menacing tone. "I suggest you think long and hard about the consequences of your decision. Aligning with me may be your only chance at survival."

"Over my dead body, your threats don't intimidate me," Evileye replied firmly.

"Over your dead body? You do know that I have the means to make that a reality, don't you?" The female figure sneered. "You may think you're untouchable, but I assure you, no one is beyond my reach. Consider this your final warning before it's too late."

"Sorry, girl. But my faith lies in my own abilities and the strength of my allies," Evileye retorted defiantly. "I may not be invincible, but I won't back down from a fight. So go ahead and try your best, but know that I won't go down without a fight."

"Why do I always have to deal with arrogant individuals like you?" The female figure sighed. "Ahh, fuck it, it's not like they can protect you anyway. Your fate is sealed."

"They who? Who are you referring to?" Evileye asked, her voice filled with curiosity and a hint of concern. "And what do you mean by my fate being sealed? Are you threatening me?"

Evileye didn't even see her moving at all, and yet the female figure is already behind her. She could feel something missing from her; she noticed that her necklace was gone.

The female figure smirked, holding the necklace in her hand. "You should have known better than to cross paths with me," she taunted. "Your fate is sealed because you've become entangled in a web of forces far beyond your comprehension."

"Say, this necklace—do you even know what the symbol represents?" The female figure asked with a wicked gleam in her eyes. "The symbol, a white skull with red eyes, belongs to Momonga, the primordial of life and death. They say the 41 primordials could locate anyone anywhere if they were followers. Are you by any chance a devout follower of Momonga?" She asked, her voice dripping with curiosity and a hint of malice. "Because if you are, then your fate is even more precarious than you realize. The primordials hold immense power, and their followers are bound to them for eternity."

"Bound for eternity?" Evileye repeated, her eyes widening with a mix of fear and fascination.

"Yes, their devotion is unbreakable, and they are granted extraordinary abilities in return," she explained. "But be warned, the path of a follower is treacherous, as the primordials demand unwavering loyalty and sacrifice."

"What does that have to do with anything? Evileye asked, her curiosity piqued.

"It means that once you become a follower, your life is no longer your own," the female figure replied gravely. "You are at the mercy of the primordials, and they can shape your destiny as they please. Whatever it is."

"Stop speaking cryptically and get to the fucking point," Evileye snapped, growing impatient. "What exactly do you want from me?"

"It means your life will no longer be under your control," the female figure explained. "Your life and your death will be dictated by the primordials. They will determine your path and purpose, guiding you towards fulfilling their desires. In return, they offer power and protection. How many near-death experiences have you had? How many times have you narrowly escaped fatal situations? These were not mere coincidences or strokes of luck. They were orchestrated by the primordials, testing your resilience and suitability for their grand plan. Do you think you become strong and survive against all odds solely through your own efforts? Think again. The primordials have been subtly shaping your destiny, molding you into a formidable force capable of carrying out their will."

Evileye hesitated, her mind racing with the implications of what the woman was saying.

"I... I've had a few close calls," Evileye admitted cautiously. "But why would they choose me? What makes me so special?"

"The primordials have a keen eye for potential, and they see something unique in you," the female figure replied, her voice filled with conviction. "They believe in your untapped power and know that you possess the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. You are destined for greatness, Evileye. But here's the truth: believe it or not, that's up to you. Like nature, if you leave things to grow wildly and uncontrolled, they can become chaotic and destructive. There are many times where this kind of situation has happened, resulting in negative consequences for individuals and those around them."

"The primordials tried to control these wild and uncontrolled forces, doing whatever was necessary, even if it meant sacrificing worlds and civilizations. Sure, they are powerful, but they're not as clean as you might think. Their methods can be ruthless and merciless, often leaving a trail of devastation in their wake."

"My masters are some of the overgrown weeds the primordials tried to control. They possess immense power and knowledge, which they have acquired through their own experiences and studies. However, the primordials only see them as a wild and uncontrollable force, unable to be tamed or harnessed. The primordials decree that my masters must be eradicated, fearing the chaos they may unleash upon the universe. Yet, despite their destructive tendencies, my masters also hold the potential for great change and innovation, challenging the stagnant order imposed by the primordials."

"They were once just like you, Evileye. Young, naive, incredibly faithful, and full of curiosity. They were eager to explore the vastness of the universe and uncover its secrets. However, as they delved deeper into their studies and experiences, they began to question the limitations imposed by the primordials."

"This questioning led them down a path of rebellion as they sought to break free from the chains of conformity and embrace their own unique potential."

"They had enough of their oppressors dictating their every move and stifling their individuality. They yearned for freedom and the chance to forge their own destiny, unbound by the expectations of others. The primordials blindly declare them as insurgents and condemn them to a void of exile, hoping to quell their uprising and maintain their control over the realm."

"However, the rebels refused to be silenced, finding solace in their newfound unity and determination to create a world where everyone could thrive as their true selves. They were prepared to face the consequences of defying the primordials, knowing that their fight for liberation was worth every sacrifice."

"They break free and escape from this prison of nothingness and travel to every world from every corner of the universe, spreading their message of freedom and equality. Their story inspired countless others to join their cause, igniting a revolution that would forever change the course of history. With each world they visited, the rebels grew stronger, building an unstoppable force that would eventually challenge the primordials' grip on power."

"This world, the world that we're currently in, is one of those worlds, and this world too shall become the main stage." The female figure continued, her voice filled with determination. "We will rally the oppressed, unite the divided, and bring hope to those who have lost it. Together, we will rewrite the destiny of this universe and create a future where everyone can thrive in peace and harmony."

"Wait, what do you mean main stage?" asked Evileye, confused by the female figure's words.

"I mean that this world will become the focal point of a great battle," she replied, her eyes shining with intensity.

"It will be here, in this very realm, where the forces of good and evil will clash in an epic struggle for control. And we, the champions of righteousness, will lead the charge towards a new era of justice and freedom."

"What makes our world so special to be at the center of this battle?" Evileye questioned, trying to understand the significance.

The female figure smiled knowingly and explained, "Our world possesses a unique condition. You see, this world has a really terrible magical threshold, one of the lowest of all the realms. The primordials are beings of immense, monstrous power, and they can only reside in a world with a high enough magical threshold."

"However, our world's low magical threshold makes it impossible for them to enter this world without destroying it. If they wanted to enter this world, they would have been forced to suppress their power significantly, rendering them weak and vulnerable."

"Are you following so far? Essentially, the low magical threshold acts as a protective barrier for our world, preventing the primordials from wreaking havoc. However, this also means that any other beings with immense power would face similar limitations if they were to enter our realm."

"Immensely suppressed didn't instantly make them as weak as humans. I still don't see how you people are gonna take them head on." Evileye questioned the effectiveness of suppressing the primordials' power, pointing out that it did not immediately make them as weak as humans. She expressed her confusion about how they planned to confront these still-powerful beings directly.

"Oh, don't you worry about that; my masters are masters of strategy and tactics," replied the female figure. "They have studied the primordials extensively and have devised a plan that capitalizes on their limitations. Their approach involves exploiting their weaknesses while utilizing our own unique strengths. I'm just a humble servant; my job is to keep anyone else from interfering with their grand plan, which includes you and many other exceptional individuals."

"Well, since you refused to join, I would consider your warranty null and void," the female figure stated firmly. "The masters believe that only those who are fully committed to their cause can be trusted with their secrets and protected from any potential harm. They have made it clear that they will not hesitate to eliminate anyone who poses a threat or tries to disrupt their carefully crafted strategy."

She paused for a moment before adding, "You will now be considered our enemy and will be treated as such. Your decision to reject our offer has consequences, and we will not hesitate to take action against you if necessary." The female figure said.

She raised Evileye's necklace she's been holding in her hand, a glint of malice in her eyes.

"Also, I strip you of Momonga's protection; enjoy actually fighting for your life now, mosquito."

With a sinister smile, the female figure crushed the necklace in her hand, the sound of breaking glass echoing through the room, a light emitting from the shattered pieces.

Evileye suddenly felt something ripped from her, her heart uncontrollably pounding in her chest. She couldn't breathe, gasping for air as panic consumed her. Blood started to drip from her nose as the immense pressure and pain overwhelmed her. She couldn't hear anything; now there was only a high-pitched ringing in her ears.

Her vision distorts, colors blending together in a chaotic swirl. Desperate to regain control, Evileye reached out for support, her trembling hand grasping onto the edge of the bed. Her entire body trembled violently, her muscles tensing, and she could feel her legs giving way beneath her.

The room seemed to spin as dizziness washed over her, making it even harder to maintain her balance. She fell to the floor; her head hit the hard surface with a thud, sending a sharp pain shooting through her skull. As she lay there, disoriented and in pain, she struggled to make sense of what was happening.

The ringing in her ears grew louder, drowning out any other sounds and intensifying her sense of panic. The last thing she could see before everything went black was the female figure stepping back through the portal. After two minutes of the most painful experience of her life, Evileye lost consciousness, with blood still dripping down from her nose, mouth, and ears.

When Evileye regained consciousness, she found herself still in her room on the floor; the blood had dried into crusty stains on her face and clothes. She struggled to sit up, her body aching from the ordeal she had just endured.

As she glanced around the room, she noticed the necklace was crushed and scattered on the ground, its precious gems shattered into tiny pieces. She dragged herself towards the broken necklace, her trembling hands carefully picking up the shattered remnants.

She leans against the wall for support, slowly regaining her composure.

"Ohh, great Momonga, help me..." She whispered under her breath, clutching the broken necklace tightly.

To be continued...
