D'Void couldn't help but smile when Manny appeared with Helen. He stood on one of the rocks in the Null Void.
He wasn't too worried about being far from the safety of his citadel. The reasons? Several Null Guardians flew near his sides.
His eyes settled on their fangs and tentacles. It was when he faced Helen and Manny.
''You're not going to enslave anyone else in the Null Void,'' Manny said while he glowered. After Manny hopped from one rock to the next one, he raised a fist. Manny's four eyes were wide when his fist contacted D'Void's gloved palm. Glowering again, he started to raise another arm. He struck D'Void's chest and knocked him back. The sight of D'Void's wide eyes caused him to smile.
''How are you doing?'' Manny asked before he looked back. He got his answer in the form of Helen using her tail to strike a few Null Guardians after they attempted to bite her.
D'Void scowled and concentrated on the Null Guardians. Nodding, he departed with his pets.
After D'Void returned to the citadel, he smiled again.
''I'll recover from the attack. My opponents won't be so lucky when we see them again,'' D'Void said as he faced the Null Guardians until they bared their fangs in agreement.
