"I really wish you were here mom." whispered Tohru in a low saddened tone. "Yuki your going to be late if you don't hurry up." Tohrusnapping out of her thoughts hearing a manly voice talking in the distance and wait did he just sayYuki it be couldn't be could it? Tohru thought. She decided to go investigate her theory when shestumbled upon a small home as she got closer it was a beautiful home not to big not to small, Itmust be so peaceful to live out here secluded from everything else Tohru thought then she spottedsomething on the porch her curiosity was peeked she decided to go up and look she knew sheshouldn't she knew that was nosey but her curiousity got the better of her. Upon getting closer tothe porch she noticed a beautiful glass figurine animal set. Wow the Twelve Zodiacs. She thought.And what a beautiful collection "They are so gorgeous." she said aloud without thinking. "Um.." saida tall man with black hair and dark grey eyes he was wearing a robe she could see his well tonedbody through the robe, the robe hugged him tightly that it was impossible not to notice how fit theman is "He's beautiful" said Tohru not realizing she had said that aloud. "Um...What?" said theman with a small grin on his face while running his hand through his hair Tohru is red faced andpanicky waving her hands back and forth "I..I your zodiac figurines they are very beautiful the manlooked in confusion for a couple seconds then went and sat down next to the figurines "Yes theyare. Stated the man. "But your missing the cat." stated Tohru. "The cat?" questioned the man "Ohyou must be referring to the old zodiac folk tale. "I always wanted to be the cat since I was a little

"Becauseno one should be excluded no one should ever feel alone it saddens me to think of anyone have tosuffer like that so from the moment I heard that story from my mother I vowed to be a cat and nota dog that way the cat wouldn't be alone." replied Tohru "How sweet." the man said withoutthinking embarrassed he turned his head slightly to the side that showed his reddened cheeks. Theman coughed recollecting himself he then finally introduced himself "Oh my I forgot my manners Iam Shigure Sohma. I don't mean to be blunt but what brings you out here?" asked Shigurequizzically. "Oh sorry my name is Tohru Honda and actually I live near here."Shigure raised aneyebrow "Near here?" "Shigure asked. That's odd this is Sohma property thought Shiguree. "Whoare you talking to?" asked a boy within the home. He then stepped out and his face was seenclearly "Yuki Sohma asked Tohru curiously. Yuki completely taken back by the young girl "MissHonda?" asked Yuki. He knows my name Tohru. "What are you doing here?" questioned Yuki.Tohru putting up her hands again frantically "Oh I um I'm sorry for the intrusion I was just walkingto school and spotted your home and I was just really curious I didn't know anyone lived out here."replied Tohru nervously. "You live near here?" asked Yuki. "Y..ee..sss." stuttered Tohru. All Yukicould say in response was "Curious." Tohru became nervous they were asking her questions shecouldn't lie to save her life so she needed to get out of here before they questioned her any further"I'm so sorry but I really must go." Tohru exclaimed and ran off before Shigure or Yuki could sayanything. "She is a very odd girl Yuki." stated Shigure. "Yes I must agree." replied Yuki. "But she isquite beautiful." said Shigurne sheepishly. THUMP ! A sharp pain radiated throughout Shigure'shead. "DAMN YUKI WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" shouted Shigure while still holding his head afterYuki hit him with his school bag. "Keep your thoughts to yourself perv." stated Yuki coldly. ThenYuki quietly walked off to go to school. Shigure's pain subsided and he started to wonder what thegirl meant by living near here? It peeked his curiosity. Why did she say that she lived near here?Who was she? He didn't know why but the girl consumed his thoughts. "I must know more." SaidShigure looking down at his precious zodiac collection with a sheepish smile .
