So this idea just popped into my head one afternoon and I wondered if there has been any fiction written like this. After a little research, I couldn't find much, so I thought to start writing.

It's a work in progress, so updates will be slow, but I'll try to update when I can. Reviews are highly welcomed as it would encourage me to write more :)

BLURB: In which a court jester known for his wit and charms, captures the eyes of a sheltered princess. SasuSaku.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. This will be a Feudal enemies to lovers story.

PROLOGUE

Come close dear listener, for I have a tale to tell. Don't worry, it will amuse you.

The story begins in the empire of Wei which stands in the heart of lush, rolling hills, surrounded by forests as old as time. Its castle, a grand edifice of stone and towers, loomed over the land, a symbol of power and prestige. Within those walls, the court of Ai thrived.

In this same court where manners and decorum ruled supreme, there was one figure who dared to defy such convention—the court jester. His name was Sasuke, a man with nails so groomed, skin so fair, and a smile so wickedly pretty. He was known for his quick wit, his sharp tongue, and his ability to make even the sternest nobles laugh, much to their displeasure.

His jests were legendary, and so was his ability to provoke. He was a thorn in the side of nobility, an unwelcome but tolerated presence at court. His mismatched clothes, adorned with patches and vibrant colors, were a stark contrast to the elaborate gowns and polished armor of the courtiers. He was an outcast in a world of tradition.

But no, this story isn't just about him.

There was a princess who was the jewel of Wei, her beauty spoken of in every corner of the kingdom. Her emerald eyes held a spark of curiosity that contrasted her sheltered life within the castle walls. Yet, behind her delicate demeanor and regal grace, she was a prisoner of her own station. Duty-bound, she longed for adventure beyond the confines of the castle, a taste of the world she could only glimpse through the narrow windows.

Unfortunately, the only one to assist with such a dream happened to be the court jester.

The princess and the jester were like fire and ice, destined to clash.

But alas, both lost to a battle of wits, and a dance of words.

Indeed, do I have your attention now? Splendid.

I would love to hear your thoughts on it! Thank you for reading!
