Chapter 1
Three individuals can be seen walking through the streets of Konoha as if they were looking for someone. They haven't seen this person in five years, since he was born. The first person was a woman who had brown hair and flames for eyes. She was wearing a cloak to hide herself from everyone. The second person was a woman who had dark black hair. On her waist were two swords. She also had a cloak to hide herself like the first person. The last person was a woman. She had auburn hair with a shade of silvery yellow eyes anyone would ever see. She had a white cloak on to hide her appearance from everyone like the others. These three were Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth, Fire, and Family of Greek, Amaterasu the Shinto Goddess of the sun, and Artemis, the Goddess of the hunt, archery, wilderness, forests, the Moon, chastity, and childbirth.
"I hope that my baby boy is alright. It's been five years since I last saw him and I'm nervous about seeing him." Artemis said, nervously gripping her cloak tightly.
"I'm sure he's okay. He was left in the care of Hiruzen who promised to take care of him." Hestia, her aunt and mother-in-law said, with Amaterasu nodding in agreement.
"She's right, besides if he's anything like his father, then he'll handle anything." Amaterasu said with a smile remembering meeting her grandson and was proud of the person he had become.
"You're ri-" Artemis was interrupted when they heard screaming coming from nearby.
"Let's go see what's going on. It sounds like a child needs help." The Shinto Goddess said in worry, getting agreed nods from the other two.
"We'll follow your lead." Hestia nodded as they took off right behind the huntress.
When they found the source of the screaming, they were horrified at what they were seeing. It was a mob of angry civilians and Shinobi attacking what looked like a five year old little boy. What made things worse was, he looked familiar to them. He had dark black hair with auburn streaks, one eye being onyx black and the other being silver to them, but what they recognized were the whisker marks on his cheeks, three on each. This was Naruto Namikaze Uchiha though no one knew about the Uchiha last name. The son of Minato Namikaze, and Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt.
Naruto was in agony having been tortured by the Shinobi in the mob having stabbed him in the arms, hands, knees, broken ribs, arms, and had burn marks everywhere.
"P-Please s-st-stop." He muttered pleadingly while in pain while trying not to cry, but had silent tears.
"You damn demon! Did you stop when you attacked our village five years ago? No, now you get to suffer!" A civilian shouted.
"Kill the Demon!"
A Chunin walked up with a kunai in his hand with a sinister grin on his face. "I'll finish it off." He said smirking at the down ravenette.
The Chunin thrust his kunai forward aiming for the heart to kill him, when something no one noticed happened to Naruto. His eyes changed from their blue to red with a tomoe in each eye allowing him to see it coming at him. He moved to the right when the kunai stabbed into him, it was into his shoulder instead of his heart causing him to scream in more pain..
The Chunin along with the others all sneered at the missed stab. "Damn it, hold still, demon!" He shouted, who went for another stab when it was blocked by a hunting knife when Artemis jumped in front of Naruto.
"Get away from my son." Artemis said in a dangerous tone as she pushed the Chunin back as Hestia and Amaterasu stood next to her in front of Naruto protectively.
"Why are you protecting that monster!? You should be helping us!" A random Shinobi shouted.
The civilian males were leering at the attractive women getting disgusted looks from them. "Why don't you step away from it and we'll show you three ladies a good time." A civilian said, hoping they'd comply.
"Die." Was all that Artemis said as she shot several arrows with speed no one, but the Goddesses could see while Amaterasu used her blades to cut down others with Hestia staying by Naruto applying Nectar and ambrosia to help him heal, when the wounds were healing already.
"I guess Kura (Kurama's nickname for Hestia) is helping him by healing him. Thank you my friend." Hestia said with a small smile.
When they finished killing everyone that was there, Amaterasu used her black flames to burn the bodies not wanting to see their disgusting bodies ever again. They turned back to Naruto and could get a better look at them. They could see his wounds were healing, but he had several cuts on his body that were severe, bruises, and could see some broken bones too. Artemis and Amaterasu crouched to the bloodied Naruto while Artemis slowly held her son in her arms.
"M-mom?" He asked weakly with hope in his eyes, before he passed out getting a gasp from her as she held him tighter, shedding tears down her cheeks. She wasn't the only one as Hestia and Amaterasu were also shedding tears, angry and sad. Angry at the village for what they've done to him and sadness for what his life must've been like.
"Did you see his eyes too? He had the Sharingan." Hestia said with a sad expression.
"Already awakened them at his age? My great grandson, just what has your life been like in your short life?" She asked no one.
"Damn you father and the ancient laws." Artemis gritted her teeth in anger.
Six individuals appeared on the scene with four of them looking similar with the same type of armor of sorts with each wearing a different animal mask. One had a dog mask and had silver gravity defying hair, another had a snake mask along with purple hair that went down to the middle of her back. The other two weren't as distinctive or noticeable. The other two were dressed differently. The first person was a man in his sixties who was wearing robes and a hat that indicated he was the Hokage. The other person had black hair like Amaterasu that went down to her lower back. She was wearing civilian clothes, but was alert of her surroundings. They are Hiruzen Sarutobi the Third Hokage and Mikoto Uchiha the Matriarch of the Uchiha clan.
"Who are you? Step away from Naruto-kun!" Hiruzen stated with authority, while Mikoto was looking at Naruto with a sad expression before she turned to the three women until her eyes widened knowing who two of them were having met them or at least heard of one of them.
"Why is he like this?" Artemis asked quietly, but they still heard her question. She turned around getting paled expressions from them with Mikoto not looking so good either, but was also glaring at Hiruzen.
"M-My Lady… What can I do…" Hiruzen didn't finish as she flared her KI at them with them
"SILENCE!" Artemis shouted with a silver aura covering her form.
"Lady Artemis. Please, I can explain everything that's been going on with Naruto-kun. Please, as your past friend." Mikoto pleaded, hoping to be able to explain everything.
"As angry as I am, I think it would be best to listen to Mikoto-chan. I can sense how much she cares for Naruto-kun." Hestia agreed with the Uchiha woman who smiled in gratitude.
"Fine." Artemis said her aura was disappearing, but her glare was still there in full force on the old man who was nodding to explain everything.
"Thank you." He said in relief as they departed to the Hokage tower.
Hokage Tower
The eight made it back to the Hokage Office when he activated the silencing seals in the room to make sure there was no one listening on their incoming conversation as Artemis held her unconscious son, rocking him.
"Okay, we now have the room to ourselves now." The old kage said, gulping from the stares he was receiving from the three Goddesses.
"It's good to see you two again, Kakashi and Yugao. You've grown." Artemis said to the two who had their masks off and were smiling at her knowing exactly who she was.
"Thank you Lady Artemis. It's great to see you again. Umm sorry if I seem rude, but who are you two?" Yugao asked politely, not wanting to offend their other guests.
"You're not offending us at all my dear. I'm Hestia Goddess of Family and the Hearth along with Naruto-kun's grandmother." Hestia introduced with a loving smile, but it made them gasp at hearing she was a goddess and the little boy's grandmother.
"And my name is Amaterasu of the Shinto Pantheon, Goddess of the Sun and Naruto-kun's great grandmother." The Sun Goddess greeted with a smile as they were in awe at meeting two other Goddesses, but Hiruzen was paling even more at hearing that name, knowing exactly who she was. They would've said something, but Artemis interrupted them, wanting to get back on track.
"Why did we find him being attacked by a mob?! It's clear to me that they think he's the Kyuubi instead of himself! So tell me, what has happened since I left?!" Artemis growled her silver eyes glowing.
Hiruzen was sweating fearing for his life knowing that the explanation he'd give wouldn't be good for him, but did it anyway. He went on to explain how his status as a Jinchuriki was announced to the village. That alone got four angry women glaring at him, one with a sad expression and the other was angry not at Naruto, but that he couldn't protect his sensei's son. After that he explained how he didn't allow anyone to adopt him or anyone to really help him like Mikoto had wanted for the longest time, how he was kicked out of the orphanage when he was 3 and a year later was found and given an apartment. After that, he said how they had put a stop to many assassination attempts and mobs before they could kill the young Uchiha. By the time he was finished explaining, he was on his knees holding his chest, sweating heavily from the KI he was getting from the three Goddesses with the other three not doing much better even if it wasn't directed at them. It was easy to tell how livid they were after hearing about the boy's long life.
"You bastard! What were you thinking on telling the village what he held right after the attack when everyone had lost someone close to them?! Did you really think that they would accept it and not be angry about it! What possessed you to tell them this?! Not only that, but to not allow Minato's closest friends to look after him?! You've screwed up big time Hiruzen!" Artemis growled with her silver eyes baring down into the old man with the others not doing any better, especially Mikoto since she had wanted to adopt him and raise him, but he had shut that down every time she tried.
"I-I thought they would understand and accept h-him." He said weakly as the pressure got worse on him.
"Didn't exactly work out, did it? He's not only hurt physically from the mobs, but he's also malnourished." Hestia added with a frown on her face. Artemis hugged Mikoto, smiling at the Matriarch.
"Thank you for looking after him when you could Mikoto-chan. I know you did everything you could to look after him." Artemis smiled at her, who nodded with her own smile.
"It was my pleasure. I loved getting to know him as I would visit him from time to time. He came to be like a son to me despite not being able to adopt him. He's so full of life and has boundless energy in him, despite how he's treated here." Mikoto told her as she thought about the times they spent together remembering all the smiles he gave her, hugged her, and even asked how she was doing.
"So what will happen now?" Kakashi asked, being able to get his breathing back in control having had the KI lifted off of him.
"He's coming with us to our world." Amaterasu stated getting wide eyed looks from Mikoto who nodded as that would be the best for him, but Hiruzen looked like he wanted to argue.
"B-but he is needed here." He weakly argued when he heard scoffs from them.
"Needed here or just so he can continue to be used as a punching bag?" Mikoto asked with a glare.
"B-but in time he'd change their minds and he wants to be Hoka-" He was interrupted with a slap by Artemis.
"Enough! Do you really think they'd change their minds? It's been five years and nothing has changed.. Him being Hokage is a means to keep him here, but he's going to have a real home and family that loves him instead of a place that would rather see him dead than anything else." Amaterasu said dangerously, seeing him gulp knowing she was right.
"Sigh. Alright. He can go. Who would look after him though, since you three wouldn't be able to." Hiruzen pointed out conceding to losing Naruto knowing it would be best for him.
Mikoto stepped up with a firm look on her face. "I'll do it." She declared seriously.
"What?" Hiruzen asked, not expecting that.
"I said I'll look after him and raise him as my own. There's nothing here for me anymore. My husband and I don't care for each other and have long since accepted their would never be anything between us. My oldest son Itachi would understand since he would visit Naruto-kun from time to time as well and helped protect him from mob attacks. My youngest Sasuke doesn't care for me much as he wants his father's attention more. I can teach him how to be a Shinobi and about Minato when the time is right." She explained, getting smiles from the Goddesses, Hiruzen was in thought, Kakashi, and Yugao were sad that the little boy would be leaving having grown to care for him over the years they interacted with him.
"You can't just disappear as it would seem suspicious." He told the patriarch, who nodded instantly.
"That works perfectly!" Amaterasu clapped her hands together with a smile, getting questioning looks from everyone except Artemis and Hestia who knew what she was referring too, were smiling too.
"What do you mean Amaterasu-sama?" Yugao asked.
"He awakened the Sharingan tonight." She said, getting wide eyed looks from the four as they looked at the sleeping boy with wonder.
"How? He's not an Uchiha?" Mikoto asked, confused about how he had the Sharingan.
"He actually is one. Minato is an Uchiha since he got it from my husband." Hestia said, getting their attention.
"Who was your husband? I know Minato was your son, but I never knew who his father was." Mikoto said.
"Why Madara Uchiha of course." Hestia chirped with a loving smile, thinking of her lover.
"WHAT?!" All four shinobi shouted in disbelief, not able to grasp what they just heard.
"That's right, after his fight with Hashirama Senju, I found him and took care of him until he was healed. From there, we got to know each other, fell in love, and got married." She explained with a smile at the memory.
All anyone could do was nod at the explanation as they now realized that Naruto was a descendant of Madara Uchiha and had the potential to surpass him.
"Back to the issue with Mikoto, she can't just disappear or else it'll create problems." Hiruzen said with a frown that was shared by the Uchiha matriarch.
"Why don't you use a blood clone? That would solve that problem." A voice said, getting everyone's attention as they turned to see Naruto sitting up on the couch.
"Naruto-kun!" Mikoto shouted, glomping the now revealed Uchiha in a hug that he returned with a smile on his face, not noticing the Goddesses were looking at him longingly, but also were nervous about meeting him. When she let go and moved out of the way, he noticed the three women and they were beautiful, but he then remembered what the auburn haired one said before he passed out.
"M-mom?" He asked, quietly looking at her with tears appearing in his eyes with Artemis having tears as well in hers.
"Oh my sweet little Naru-chan, I'm so sorry." The Goddess of the Hunt cried as she hugged her son.
She separated from her son and got a good look at him and smiled sadly at him. "Oh you look so much like your father. You look so handsome." She cooed, rubbing his cheeks, who was blushing in embarrassment, but then frowned, making her and the others worry.
"Where have you been mom? D-did you not want me?" He asked, trembling, but was silenced with a hug. The others were sad that he had thought that with Hestia and Amaterasu were shedding tears as well feeling bad for their grandson.
"No. Of course not son. I wanted to take you with me the moment you were born and found out your father died, but my father has rules that prevent me from raising you. I love you so much and would do anything to have you with me, so never think that I wouldn't want you or think that you aren't loved." She shushed him who nodded tearfully.
Naruto noticed the other two pretty ladies that were with them and wondered who they were. "Who are the pretty ladies?" He asked with a slight tilt, making all the women squeal and was in a hug with mom, Hestia, and Amaterasu. "Umm, who are you?" He asked again, when they let go and smiled at him.
"I'm your grandmother Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth, Fire, and Family." Hestia introduced with a smile that made him smile and nod at her.
"I'm Amaterasu the Shinto Goddess of the sun, your great grandmother." She introduced herself with a grin.
"And I'm Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, Moon, archery, wilderness, forests, chastity, and childbirth." His mother introduced with a smile that made him smile knowing he now had actual family now.
"It's nice to meet you– wait did you say Goddesses?" He asked with a shocked expression making everyone else chuckle at the look on his face knowing where he's coming from.
"Yes Naruto-chan. We're Goddesses and that makes you a demigod which is half god, half mortal." Artemis said, getting a slow nod still trying to wrap his head around what he just learned.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but how do you know about the blood clone Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen cut in, wanting to get back on track.
"W-well.." He scratched his cheek, chuckling nervously. "I may or may not have taken the forbidden scroll and studied when I had learned about the Shadow Clone being on it and wanted to learn it, since the normal clone jutsu was useless to me having way too much chakra for it and the teachers would never help me with that. I knew you would have it and when I took it to look for it, I had also noticed the Blood Clone as well along with other jutsu, but didn't really look into those." He answered sheepishly, hoping he wouldn't be in trouble, but he ended up hearing chuckles and than laughing coming from the old man.
"Just like your father, when he did the same thing for the Hiraishin. Like father, like son." He laughed with Artemis chuckling as well remembering that story she was told. "Anyway, a blood clone is similar to Shadow Clones except the clone is made up of the users blood, chakra, and is much more durable and can last years until the original ends it. They also get all the information when they disperse like Shadow Clones." He explained that everyone except for Naruto was in awe of the jutsu, but it must be forbidden for a reason if it's in the forbidden scroll of sealing.
"That's amazing, but I can also see why it would be considered forbidden. Now before anything, we should get everything from the Namikaze Estate since everything there is rightfully Naruto-kun's." Hiruzen said as Artemis nodded.
"I'll go and Mikoto should be keyed in too, so it would help if she and Kakashi came along too." She said, with the two nodding as they both left leaving Naruto with Yugao, Hestia, Hiruzen, and Amaterasu.
"Artemis was not wrong, you look so much like your father." Hestia said, with Naruto smiling at the compliment.
"What was he like and who he my father?" He asked them who smiled, happy to tell him about his father and their families.
The group of three spent the next hour talking about different things and getting to know each other. When Hestia said who his father was, he was shocked, angry, but than smiled knowing how honorable of a man he was. Amaterasu was gushing over her great grandson and couldn't get over how cute he was as Hestia had to hold back as well, but she felt the same as she did. Artemis and Mikoto came back with several scrolls that were put into bags and they saw the little boy they loved laughing as Hestia and Amaterasu were tickling him and they could see how much of a child he could act despite everything he's been through already in his short life. They were glad that he could still act like the child he is.
"Are you ready to go Naruto-kun?" Mikoto asked him with him nodding, but he gave Hiruzen, Kakashi hugs. He went to do the same with Yugao, but she poked his forehead making him grumble, but looked at her with confusion.
"I'm going with you guys. I already talked to Hiruzen about it as I want to teach you Kenjutsu and help out with other areas. If that's okay?" She asked the four women who smiled and nodded at her.
"That's fine with me, but under one condition." Artemis said, getting a curious look from the now ex Anbu.
"And what's that?" She asked the mother.
"I want you to join my hunt in a few years. I remember Kushina had taught you and I like how skilled you are and would like to offer you the chance to join the hunt." The Goddess of the Hunt said, surprising her and the others, having not expected that.
Yugao was looking down in thought, her love life here hadn't gone well for her when she caught her boyfriend cheating on her, she'd been colder to everyone since and with this new start she wouldn't need to worry about dating anymore or heartbreak. She looked at Naruto who was smiling at her as he held her hand and gave a small squeeze to show that he was with her and would support her no matter what her decision would be. After some more thinking she looked at Artemis with a smile on her face.
"Thank you for the offer My Lady. I accept your offer. How long until I join the others when we head to the other world?" Yugao asked her new leader who smiled, happy to have a new hunter.
"In a 4 years, I want you to take time to help train Naruto before you join us. This would also give Naruto-kun the chance to meet them when that time comes." She nodded and Naruto was grinning at the thought of meeting them as they were basically his sisters.
"Let's go, everyone. Thank you again Hiruzen and Kakashi for everything you did for my son." Artemis said, as they flashed away in a bright light leaving the two left in the room.
The group appeared and what they saw amazed the three people with the Goddesses chuckling at their expressions.
"Pretty impressive huh? Come on, there's a house nearby that would be perfect for you three. It's a big enough house for training to happen too." Hestia told them as they nodded and followed them to where their new home would be.
They walked for a few minutes until they came across a nice two-story house. It had a beautiful front lawn with a pathway down the middle dividing the lawn into two sides. Naruto was shaking in excitement at is new home, it was already better than the apartment he lived in.
"Here we are. This'll be your new home Naruto-kun. We'll get you moved in and then… we'll have to go as we can't raise you. I know the Shinto's are more lenient on the subject, but she has many duties as a Goddess. Hestia can visit you on occasion to check on you since she's not an Olympian and the same goes for Amaterasu." Artemis explained, when she saw the depressed look on her son's face and wanted to just say screw the rules and stay with him, but she couldn't.
"So I won't ever see you again?" He asked, getting tears in his eyes and when he saw the three Goddesses nod slowly with sad expressions, but wasn't expecting him to jump at his mother who caught him as he had his face in the crook of her neck crying at her having to leave when he just got his family back.
"Oh my little maelstrom. We'll see each other again. It just won't be for a few years. I promise you that this won't be the last time we meet." Artemis was shedding her own tears at having to leave her little boy after having finally reunited after 5 years without him. "Can you make me a promise?" She asked, getting him to look at her who nodded at her question. "I want you to train really hard these next four years with Mikoto and Yugao. In four years is when Yugao will be joining the hunt and at that time, we'll be able to meet again and I will want to see how strong you are by that time. Can you do that for me?" She asked gently, wiping his eyes of tears. He nodded with determination in his eyes at wanting to make his mom proud and show her he can be strong.
"I will mom." He told her who smiled and kissed his forehead.
"I have two gifts for you that I want you to have." She waved her hand as two items appeared. One was a bow that was a beautiful midnight black. The quiver was silver with a symbol of a wolf on it with silver arrows in it. The other item were two hunter daggers like hers. She handed them to him and his eyes gained small tears of joy having gotten a gift from her. "I also want you to study Greek Mythology and learn as much as you can about us and your family." She handed him a scroll that no doubt had numerous books on the subject.
"Thank you mom. I'll train, practice, and study hard until I'm as good as you or surpass you." He swore with determination that reminded her of herself and Minato. Artemis chuckled, nodding at her son before giving him one more hug and kiss on his forehead.
Hestia walked to Naruto after he was put down and kneeled down and pulled him into her own hug as he returned it with a smile on his face.
"I'm glad I could meet you grandma." He said with a small smile in which she beamed at his words in happiness.
"Me too Naruto. I'm glad you'll be here closer to us, but like your mom said, we won't be around as often as we'd like so do your best and be the kind boy that we know you'll be, okay?" She said, letting go as she kissed his cheek before getting back up and she put a hand on his head as he glowed a little. "Now I'm giving you a blessing since I'm not one for combat, but I strengthened your divine blood and affinity towards fire where it'll be different from normal fire.
"Thank you grandma." He hugged her again as she nodded and stood back up. Amaterasu did the same thing, kneeling so she's at eye level with him.
"You are so adorable and you know you will make us all proud Naruto-kun. Just remember that we'll always love you and know you will have a happy life now that you're away from that village." She told her great grandson who smiled at her as they hugged before she waved her hand as a katana appeared in her hands.
It had a black handle with the Shinto Sun symbol on it that was 10 inches long with the blade being 24 inches long.
He was in awe at the blade much like the bow, arrows, and daggers he hugged her for the gift.
"Thank you grandma." He chirped as she squealed and hugged him again before she went back to the other Goddesses.
Artemis looked over at Yugao and nodded at her.
"Remember we'll meet again in four years when you come to join the hunt, so please train him to the best of your ability." She told her soon to be hunter, who nodded at her.
Artemis went and hugged Mikoto and whispered words to her with her nodding as she stepped back and they gave one last smile to Naruto before flashing away leaving the three alone in their new house.
"Well it's getting late and we have a lot to do, so training will start tomorrow morning." Mikoto told him who nodded with excitement at training, but grew nervous when he saw them grinning evilly at him, making him shudder.
'I don't like those looks they're giving me.' He said to himself.
-Four Years Later-
These have been the best four years of Naruto's new life ever since he was taken to the new world. He felt like a kid, but still trained like a Shinobi. He had actual birthdays that were celebrated, he didn't have to worry about glares or beatings anymore. He loved his new life with Mikoto and Yugao. Mikoto had become the mother in their little family, even if Artemis was his birth mother, he would still call Mikoto mom which made her beam with happiness where Yugao became the big sister for him. Like Artemis wanted, he studied Greek Mythology and he learned a lot with the Gods, Goddesses, their history, and the different monsters he'll encounter in life.
Mikoto and Yugao had realized that Naruto was truly a prodigy like his father was as he was very intelligent. They had pushed him over the years to his limits per his request in wanting to get stronger so he could protect his precious people which made them happy. They had trained him in many areas in Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, Genjutsu, and even Fuinjutsu, but he studied the last one on his own since he understood it better than them. Mikoto helped him with his Taijutsu teaching him the Interceptor Fist, Genjutsu with and without his Sharingan since he had amazing chakra control, near perfect despite being a Jinchuriki.
His training with the Sharingan had gone extremely well, he'd managed to get the third tomoe in the second year which made him one of the youngest people to have gotten the last tomoe. Mikoto later on told about the next level of the Sharingan called the Mangekyou and what the price is for activating it and he was sad and disgusted because some had like her ex husband had killed his best friend to get it which infuriated Naruto when he heard that. He not only achieved the last tomoe, but he had mastered it where he didn't need to rely on it like he wanted, not wanting to be like nearly every other Uchiha.
Yes, they had put him through the grinds with chakra control making him go through every exercise that they could think of. They also put him through extreme physical exercises along with putting up gravity seals on his body to not only make him stronger, but he would get faster. He was on level 5 out of 50 right now putting him at low Chunin speed without the weights, but when the weights were deactivated he was at high Chunin level.
Yugao trained him in Kenjutsu and other weapons with a sword style in the basics and when he had them mastered he started on a style that Artemis had given her for him to learn. It was a style that focused on speed and being ferocious in his attacks like wolves are. She had also taught him stealth, making traps, and poison that she had learned from her time in Anbu and from one of her best friends. He would also make sure he practiced his archery skills so he would make his mother proud as he would put hours in a day for them alone.
They both worked with him in Ninjutsu having different elements and when they tested his affinity, they were caught by complete surprise at what happened.
*Flashback 8 Year old Naruto*
"Alright Naruto-kun, what we have here is called chakra paper and with this you channel chakra to see what your affinities will be. I have a feeling we know what one of them will be, but we'll find out here. After this we'll start your elemental training. if it rips it means wind, if it wrinkles means lightning, burns means fire, it turns soggy means water and if it crumbles it means earth, go ahead." Mikoto explained handing him the paper as Naruto was bouncing in excitement at starting something new.
Naruto took the paper and did as told and channeled chakra to it and what they saw was amazing. The paper turned soggy with another part burning, and the other part crumbling, but what happened right after was two sides boiled and the other was completely melted indicating he had boiled and lava releases.
The two women looked at each other briefly before they got another piece of paper and had him do the same thing and they got the same results.
"H-how is it you not only have three elements, but you also have two kekkai genkai's too and they're all incredibly strong!" Yugao exclaimed with wide eyes while Mikoto had similar thoughts.
Naruto was looking as if Christmas had come early and was excited to see what he was capable of and couldn't wait to get started.
"Well, we have 1 year until it's time for Yugao to head to your mother's hunt and since she has a water affinity and since I have a fire affinity, we can do that as well. We'll start with that one and then we can work on the others afterwards. I'm just glad that we took exercises from each element just in case." Mikoto told him who nodded, with a sad and nervous smile knowing that Yugao would leave in a year to join his mother's hunt and not only that,but he'd also get to see his mom again and meet the hunters which made him nervous not knowing how they'd react to him.
*End Flashback*
Naruto was now with Yugao and Mikoto having arrived at the place where they were going to be meeting up with Artemis and Naruto was beyond nervous about meeting the hunters. He knew about them having heard from Hestia when she would stop by every once in a while and knew they hated men, but he was hoping they'd give him a chance to prove them wrong about him.
Mikoto noticed his nervousness and put a hand on his shoulder, making him look at her. "Don't worry Naruto-kun, it'll be alright. I'm sure they'll come to love you like a brother and see you're not like other men in the world." She said, which cheered him up a bit.
"You ready to be a hunter? You'll be a maiden and will forever swear off men. Going on hunts and exciting adventures. I'm a little jealous, but that life isn't for me." Mikoto asked, seeing her smirk in amusement.
"I'm looking forward to it. I feel like I've improved over the last few years having trained with you and even learned a few things. I wonder what the others will be like though?" She asked, but they shrugged their shoulders before they waited silently for them to show up.
Half an hour later, Naruto sensed multiple people arriving and they could see a bunch of what looked like girls to be between 8-15 ages. He saw the girls were looking at him as if trying to read him, but was surprised they weren't glaring at him. His mom must've told them about him and were maybe giving him a chance which he was hoping was the case.
"It's good to see you all again" They saw a girl who looked to be about 13 years old walk up in front of the group. She was a younger version of the Artemis that Naruto saw before with the only reason he recognized her was her silver eyes. She saw Naruto and smiled warmly at him and changed to a mid twenties adult form. She held her arms out for a hug and Naruto wasted no time as he became a blur and was in her arms instantly as she returned it with as much happiness, kissing his forehead.
She pulled away, getting a whine which made her chuckle, deciding it was time to introduce them to her son.
"Now girls, I've told you a lot about my son, but I'd like to introduce him to you." She said, before looking at her son. "Naruto, these are my hunters, my Lieutenant Zoe Nightshade." She introduced them with him giving a small wave and tried to smile, but was extremely nervous.
Zoe was a pretty girl from what Mikoto and Yugao could see. She was a beautiful copper skinned Demi-Titan whose father was the Titan Atlas. She had long black hair and dark brown eyes.
"So you're my Ladies son?" She questioned getting a slow nod. "My Lady has asked us to get to know you instead of just assuming you'd be like every other man, so I'll give you a chance to prove you aren't like them." Zoe said, with a neutral expression.
"Um Zoe was it?" Mikoto got her attention, nodding at her question. "I can assure you that Naruto-kun is nothing like the other men you've come across as he would never disrespect a woman or take advantage of one. In fact he's defended me and Yugao here on more than one occasion. I remember one time he broke a man's wrist when he tried to get a feel and the killer intent Naruto put out made him pass out." She giggled at the memory as Zoe gave a small smile with Artemis smirking in pride at her son in defending her friend even if she didn't need other hunters didn't have such restraint, giggled and smirk at what their patron's son did.
They spent the next couple hours getting to know him and they slowly got comfortable around him as they learned about what his life was like and how he would always help the females from perverts. While they talked, Artemis talked to Mikoto and Yugao about Naruto's training and what he's learned so far along with making Yugao an official hunter. By the time Artemis had to leave, she gave Naruto one more hug and a kiss ot his forehead before telling him to keep training hard, to be safe, and to listen to Mikoto to what she tells him. Zoe and the other hunters had gotten comfortable enough to call them their little brother and allowed him to refer to them as sisters. Things were going to be getting better for him as he was able to make new friends or sisters in this case.
