The day has finally come. It was time for Harry to get his hearing on whether he'd be expelled or not. When he first got his expulsion letter, he wanted nothing more than to curse Vernon and his increasingly red face, but letters from Sirius and Mr. Weasley made him stay there until he was rescued by members of the Order of the Phoenix. They resided in Number 12 Grimmauld Place which was their headquarters. Sirius also explained how he was in a similar situation as Harry where they both had to be forced to stay at the home, they grew up in. And they both despised them.

As Harry groggily woke up at five in the morning he shook his head and wondered what would happen if he got expelled. He looked at Ron seeing him snore. He carefully walked out quietly wondering if he returned, they'd still be fellow Hogwarts students. Harry hoped so. The fear of losing the one true home he'd ever have because the minister would rather stick his head under his sand than face that Voldemort was back. Due to it being so early in the morning, he didn't expect to see anyone in the kitchen as he walked down the stairs. To his surprise in the kitchen was Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, Remus, Tonks, and Sirius were all in the kitchen.

"Morning, Harry," said Mr. Weasley as he noticed him come down. "You ready for the hearing?" Mr. Weasley said.

"I don't know. I guess." Harry said absentminded as he took a chair at the table.

"Harry, anything you want? Eggs, Toast, porridge? Mrs. Weasley called.

"T-toast would be good." Said Harry

As Lupin began having a conversation with Tonks, Harry was dreading the day coming forward. As his toast was placed on a table in front of him, he tried to eat it but he couldn't.

Mr. Weasley instead of wearing his wizarding robe, Mr. Weasley now wore trousers and an old coat. He turned to look at Harry.

You feeling ok Harry?"

Harry nodded slowly.

"It'll be over quickly." Mr. Weasley said with confidence. "You'll be cleared."

Harry said nothing again and nodded slowly.

"The hearing is at Amelia Bones's office. She's going to question you."

"Amelia is fair, Harry." Chimed Tonks in.

"Remember don't lose your temper Harry." Said Sirius quickly.

Harry found it hard to even speak so he looked absentminded at the table.

"This should only be a warning. Said Remus. "You should only have gotten a warning."

Minutes passed in an awkward silence before Mr Weasley announced they should be going. Harry was thankful for it. He wanted nothing more than to rip the band-aid off.

As he and Mr. Weasley prepared to go he said his goodbye to the others at the table. "You'll be alright Harry, Good luck Harry."

(Scene Break)

The first thing he saw in the ministry was a statue that showed wizards being looked at adoringly by witches, goblins, and house elves. Harry snorted as he saw the goblin statue. He doubted a goblin could even show a sliver of happiness that didn't involve money in some way. And no way would a goblin EVER look that way on a wizard. They normally only showed annoyance and hatred towards wizards. As they walked towards the employee-only area and as Harry gave his wand for inspection, Harry's mind was racing. Would he be expelled? "

Eleven inches, phoenix-feather core?" said the man behind the desk.

"Yes." Replied Harry nervously.

As the man gave his wand back the man saw his face closely, his eyes widened in recognition.

"Wait a minute…"

"We'll be going off then," said Mr. Weasley and they hurriedly left to the elevator. As the elevator began going down Harry was trying to not appear nervous but failed incredibly. He was shaken up when he heard Mr. Weasley began moving him out at "Department 2. Magical law enforcement.

As Harry waited at Mr. Weasley's desk he barely heard the conversation he had. Something with toilets? He looked out the magical windows which showed lightning and thunder he wondered if this was an omen to the hearing. He was stopped when somebody named Perkins came and told them they were 20 minutes late. And it was down in courtroom 10. This was how Harry and Mr. Weasley practically furiously ran towards the elevators.

"Why did they change the time? Said Harry his voice betraying the dread he felt over being this late.

"I have no idea, but being so late will have huge consequences!" replied Mr. Weasley his face horror-struck.

When they went into the elevator, Mr. Weasley pummelled the 9 button and cursed loudly.

"Haven't used these in years! These were for convicted death eaters!"

Harry realized the total power play; they got set up on. He was put in a dungeon where psychopathic killers who were guilty were sent to Azkaban. And he was going to get his hearing there.

As Mr. Weasley hurriedly took Harry's hand and ran left towards the courtroom.

It felt as if they ran for ages with Mr. Weasley mentioning it over and over again

"Yes, here. Courtroom 10." Said Mr. Weasley as they finally made it.

"Good luck Harry." Said Mr. Weasley as he looked solemn.

"What aren't you going to come to?"

"I can't. It's up to you." Mr. Weasley looked pained as he was forced to let Harry go alone.

As Harry slowly made his way to the door he felt absolute horror seeping through his skin.

When he finally entered, he saw the dungeon where Bellatrix admitted where and the other convicted death eaters tortured Nevile's parents.

When he entered there were angry muttering but when they noticed him, everyone was in silence. It was as if somebody sent silencing spells on everyone.

"You're late." Said a cold voice coming from the atrium.

"Y-yeah, sorry but somebody changed the time." Harry desperately tried to explain.

"That is not the fault of the Wizengamot." Looking upwards he saw it was the minister. Instead of the green bowler he normally wore, he instead wore a plum robe with a "W" on it alongside the rest of the Wizengamot.

"Unfortunately, due to your... absence, we were forced to vote without you.

No. It was impossible. Did he come all this way, surviving a dementor attack just to lose like this?

With the facts we have, you broke the statue of secrecy, and therefore the Wizengamot have found you Harry James Potter guilty.

Harry couldn't believe this was happening. No. Was this a bad dream? If he pinched himself, would he wake and hear Ron snore?

You have hereby been expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Harry could only gape and watch up at the atrium. Some were looking at him with disdain, and some were looking at him with pity.

"You will have your wand snapped." Said the minister with a smug look.

Harry could only watch in horror as guards began moving toward him. He was too shocked to do anything.

"Unfortunately, Cornelius, you cannot do that." Came from a voice Harry recognized well. It. It was...

"Dumbledore!" said Fudge with a sour look on his face, as if he had just swallowed a lemon.

"While I disagree with the sentence, Alas I cannot do anything about that."

"But both Headmaster and Ministry must agree to snap a wand to a Hogwarts Student.

"You're overstepping Dumbledore!" said Fudge with a nasty scowl on his face.

"I do find it hard to overstep these days with having been removed as both Warlock of the Wizengamot and Supreme Mugwump. Replied Dumbledore with a twinkle in his eyes.

While Fudge looked like was ready to explode at Dumbledore a nasty-looking woman whispered into Fudge's ear.

"Very well. Potter. You will not have your wand snapped. But you have been expelled from Hogwarts.

"I call this Wizengamot meeting adjourned." As he pounded the gavel.

"Harry, we're going back. Said Dumbledore abruptly.

"What happens now?" asked Harry weakly.

"Now everything changes." Replied Dumbledore with a angry look on his face, as they walked out of the courtroom.
