Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Overlord. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Overlord, Kugane and a few others do.

The figure threw one of the men to the ground before impaling him on his blade. He pitied these men for them trying to stand against him.

He didn't understand why he enjoyed combat… Then again? It was one of the few things he was good at.

He tugged at his helmet and brushed off his armor before moving onward. He left the warriors broken and battered. They wouldn't try to kill him again… If they did? He'd dispatch them once again.

"I'm starting to wonder if there's anything I can conquer that will stay conquered." He muttered to himself and blinked.

He doubted it, there was far more powerful beings then him. Even if he was a warlord? There were far more dangerous people willing to overthrow him when it came down to it.

That didn't him from wanting to find a far more powerful challenge. While he wasn't willing to challenge people at the top of the food chain…. Yet, he was still willing to challenge more powerful people then him.

Still? He'd take them down if he had to… He was nothing if not determined to conquer. He hummed and rested his swords on his shoulders.

The man could only wonder what happened next. He was nothing like a good leader. He attracted people because of his ability to fight, it wasn't a good reason for people to follow after him.

He rubbed at his eyes and moved onto the next area. his eyes glared out from under his armor, one of his eyes was a dull red with the other a bright blue. He could still feel blood dripping down his skin. His own blood.

He hummed and went to go and get checked out so he could get healed. After that? He'd find someone else to fight.

"Lord Gaidar!" He heard from a hooded man which made him roll his eyes as he looked to him.

"I told you not to call me that…" Gaidar stated and brushed off his arms. "What is it you want?" Gaidar questioned the man before he blinked.

"We found someone who you might want to fight!" The man stated to which Gaidar blinked and raised an eyebrow with amusement.

"Really?" Gaidar questioned as he brushed off his arms. "And where is this warrior?" Gaidar hummed and blinked.

He was interested in this. Someone powerful that he could battle? That was much more interesting. He would make sure to look up this warrior. It made him wonder what would happen if he fought this figure.

"In another town, their challenging anyone to battle!" The man said which caused Gaidar to look to him and blink.

Gaidar hum and sheathed his swords on his back and cracked his fingers.

"Then take me to them." Gaidar ordered and slowly walked after them.

There was only so much they could do to make the fight more interesting. If it was a really good fight? Then he'd forgive them for bothering him. It would be much more fun to battle someone who seemed able to hold their own.

Plus? If they were challenging everyone? Then they were either arrogant… In which case? Gaidar would take them down without killing them and have a good laugh at having another win under his belt.

If not? Then he would have a good fight, which he'd cherish more then anything. Gaidar decided to get healed at the next town and he'd see about this warrior.

Gaidar continued to follow after this warrior and hummed once more. It was interesting for someone to have found him.

Gaidar could hardly contain his excitement for battling whoever this is. The idea of battling someone seemed far more fun then battling them… Then again? Gaidar had fought so many people that he wondered about the idea why he enjoyed combat so much.

Perhaps he would find out soon enough why he wanted to fight so much. That was much more interesting then the idea of battling soon or such.

If anything, he was eager to challenge this warrior to battle and would be very invested in how the battle would be.

Gaidar brushed off his swords and patted his helmeted head with amusement, confusion, and interest in the next battle.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be nothing to an entire fight scene and such. Next chapter will be full of battle and such. I might make more then one story or such for this. Next chapter will be in 2-10 weeks and will show Gaidar meeting Zesshi and fighting her along with more interest and such.
