Chapter 1: The New World
'Goodbye…Itachi…' Shisui gave him one last smile and slowly leaned back and fell off the cliff.
Itachi held his hand out, reaching for him.
'Shisui!' He screamed in agony.
-Cutscene-
Shisui floated aimlessly in the endless darkness.
His life replayed over and over in his mind as he kept thinking of different scenarios and endings.
He wouldn't have thought he would die by ending his own life.
He thought he would at least have a family of his own…maybe even be the Hokage. Never this.
'No use in dwelling on it now. Not going back anyways.' Shisui sadly smiled.
He was very apologetic to Itachi for leaving him alone and having him see himself die.
'What if I told you that you can have another chance?' Shisui heard the voice.
The darkness was replaced with light and he was suddenly standing up and he opened his eyes. 'My eyes are back?!' Shisui looked at his hands and his body.
'Yes indeed Shisui Uchiha.' He heard the voice again and looked at a strange man.
'Who are you?' A confused Shisui asked him.
'I am Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths.' Hagoromo answered.
'Sage of Six Paths? So the readings were true, you really do exist.' Shisui looked at him with awe present in his eyes.
Hagoromo smiled. 'Yes I do Shisui. I want to offer you a second chance at life, but in a different world.'
'Another chance? A different world?' Now Shisui was extremely bewildered.
'I know it's a lot to take in, but yes to both.' Hagoromo said.
'But why me?' Shisui asked.
'I seen your noble efforts and respectable sacrifice. I feel you could've done even more in your life if you were alive. Therefore I want to offer you another chance at life in another world. Do you accept it?' Hagoromo asked again.
Shisui's eyes glazed over. Of course he would dearly miss his clan and would forever love them, but there might be something different for him in this new world. He would make sure not to fail like he did before. He promised himself.
He looked at Hagoromo with determination and conviction. 'I accept.'
Hagoromo nodded with a smile. 'Good let's get started. So this world is very different from the Elemental Nations. It's filled with Gods, devils, demons, fallen angels, and many others. I advise you to get knowledge once you enter it.' Hagoromo started.
Shisui listened attentively.
'This world also contains something called Sacred Gears. They are items with powerful abilities. Your Sacred Gear will be the Ten Tails.' Hagoromo continued.
'The Ten Tails?!' Shisui looked very shocked on hearing what was said. The Ten Tails was ancient, a myth, strong and all powerful. He couldn't believe it.
Hagoromo chuckled at his look. 'Yes the Ten Tails. He will be loyal to you and you only. Become partners with him more so friends.'
Shisui still couldn't wrap his head around this.
'You will also retain your power and abilities, so use them with responsibility. Now with that being said, are you ready?' Hagaromo asked him.
Shisui took a breath. He thought about his clan one more time. I will bring greatness to the Uchiha name. He thought promisingly. He exhaled. 'I'm ready.'
A bright white glowing portal appeared beside Hagoromo. 'Enter into your new destiny.'
Shisui nodded and before he entered he looked at Hagoromo. 'Thank you Sage of Six Paths.'
Hagoromo gave him a fatherly smile and nodded.
Shisui then entered the portal into a new beginning.
-Cutscene-
Shisui opened his eyes to see a new environment. He could see many people and large buildings.
First things first, I have to get knowledge. Shisui knew he had to find a library ASAP before doing anything else.
'Hello Master Shisui.' A strong, deep, and raspy voice said in his mind.
Shisui's Sharingan activated on instinct, but he calmed himself down. '..Ten Tails?' Shisui mentally questioned.
'It is indeed me. Sit on the bench over there and meet me in person.' Ten Tails said.
Shisui went and sat on the bench. He closed his eyes as he got in a meditative state and entered his consciousness.
He opened his eyes to see the gigantic figure of the Ten Tails. 'So it is true…' Shisui couldn't believe his eyes.
'Yes it is.' Ten Tails had an amused expression on its face.
'What should I call you?' Shisui asked, head tilting.
'I was always called Ten Tails.' Ten Tails replied.
Shisui had a thoughtful expression on his face. If he and Ten Tails would be on this new journey together, he may as well give him a name.
'Your name for now on, will be Chikara.' Shisui smiled at him. 'And just call me Shisui.'
'Thank you Shisui. Now that introductions are over, whenever you get a place and settle in, visit here again.' Chikara told him.
'Alright I'll see you then Chikara.' Shisui smiled again before exiting his consciousness.
Shisui woke up to a tapping on his shoulder. 'Sir…sir! Are you alright?' A young boy asked him.
Shisui smiled friendly at him. 'Yes, thank you.'
The young boy walked back to his parents.
Shisui stood up. He looked at the parents. 'Excuse me, do you guys know where the library is?' He asked.
'Yeah it's that way.' The mother pointed.
'Thank you.' Shisui bowed and headed in the way she pointed.
-Cutscene-
Shisui made his way inside the library and looked to see thousands and thousands of books.
He first went to the history section. He activated his Sharingan and picked up the books and skimmed through them.
He was done in about ten minutes.
This world was very different from the Elemental Nations. Shisui thought with intrigue. Various beings of power walked in this world. Many higher ranking than others and others lower ranking than the rest.
He knew he would eventually run into them. Probably sooner than he thought. He couldn't wait to explore around.
He went to other rows and skimmed through the rest of the books in the library. This approximately took him one hour.
He was done reading a manga and was disappointed in the cliffhanger. Who knew Frieza would train that long and become Black Frieza. The way he one-shotted Goku and Vegeta had him extremely surprised.
He wondered if he could do a Kamehameha. He would most definitely try it one of these days. The abilities he read in the different manga he read gave him many ideas.
That was thought for later. He had to get him a place to stay before it went dark outside.
Shisui walked outside the library and began looking.
-Cutscene-
Shisui found these nice apartments in the northern part of the city. He visited the office and went to the landlord.
The landlord was a friendly looking old woman. She had long gray hair and dark blue eyes. She also had wrinkly pale skin. She wore a long blue dress. The woman looked at Shisui.
'Well you look new here young man. My name is Himara Tsuda. How can I help you today?' She asked.
Shisui bowed respectfully. 'My name is Shisui Uchiha and I'm looking for a place to stay.'
'Nice to meet you Shisui-san. You're in luck, we have an apartment up for rent today. You just have to pay a fee of 1000.' Himara said.
Shisui went wide-eyed as he forgot he didn't have any money. I'm so sorry. He thought, saddened. He really didn't want to do this, but he must. He promised he would pay her when he could.
His Sharingan activated.
'Alright thank you for the fee Shisui-san. Here's your key and the apartment number is on it. Enjoy your stay.' Himara smiled and waved as she watched Shisui leave.
-Cutscene-
Shisui arrived in his apartment and was satisfied with it.
It was very roomy and comfortable. Soon enough he would have to buy groceries and necessities for it.
Shisui went to his room and sat on the bed. He remembered what Chikara told him earlier and he closed his eyes. He entered his consciousness.
'Welcome back Shisui. I told you to get a place to stay in order to prepare you for what's next. You will become my Jinchuriki.' Chikara said.
'I will be a Jinchuriki…' At this point Shisui wasn't surprised anymore and took it in stride. 'How will this happen?' He asked.
'Well first I need you to put up a seal so you won't be noticed and your power doesn't leak.' Chikara started.
Shisui nodded and exited his consciousness.
He made hand signs and put one hand on his stomach. 'Chakra Suppression Seal!' Black markings appeared on his stomach. He felt his power be suppressed to the point that no one would be able to sense him no matter how much Chakra and power he had. He then went back to his consciousness.
'Done and done.' Shisui said.
'Good. Now is the simple part. Just fist bump me.' Chikara held out a fist.
Shisui's eyebrow raised. 'That's it? I thought it would be more.'
Shisui walked to him then fist bumped him.
A large burst of white light appeared in place of Shisui.
It continued for a minute before stopping.
Shisui opened his eyes as he could feel the difference within himself.
His Chakra felt…immeasurable and he felt more powerful than he ever was.
He wanted to see how he looked and exited his consciousness.
He went to the bathroom and looked inside the mirror.
His eyes widened in complete shock.
Both of his eyes were bright red…with the mythical RinneSharingan in each. There was no way.
His appearance also changed. (In short terms, he looks similar to Obito as a Ten Tails Jinchuriki, but instead he had a long black drill in his hand.)
Shisui thought he couldn't be surprised anymore, but this…this warranted it.
He heard Chikara chuckling. 'I can understand your shock. Whenever you want to start training your new powers, let me know.'
Shisui took a couple breaths to calm himself down. 'Right… can start tomorrow.'
Shisui closed his eyes as he transformed back to his base state.
He laid down on his bed. Today was a whirlwind. He thought, massaging his scalp.
Never in a million years would he have thought so many things would happen, but it did.
Fate was funny sometimes.
He remembered reading about a place called Kuoh Academy.
Once he explored the city, he wanted to enroll. He would have to forge a lot of paperwork, but that would be easy considering who he is.
As crazy as this day was, he was thankful for it.
He thanked Hagoromo one last time before closing his eyes, entering a peaceful slumber.
