Another Graduation

In the southern Rukongai's tenth district, Rinslet was back to a tree trunk with her contracted spirit Fenrir growling as they were facing three men who looked irritated and they were slowly approaching Rinslet and her companion.

"My, I didn't realize that I was going to facing such uncultured brutes," Rinslet said with a smirk.

"Damn woman," One of the men said angrily, "you have some nerve saying that when you and your damn mutt are the problem."

"I'll tell you what," Rinslet said as she flicked her hair, "I'm willing to let this go if you three bark like good dogs for me and promise to be my servants."

The three men were stunned in they just heard and they looked at Rinslet wide eyed.

"Is this bitch serious?" One of the men responded.

"How dare you refer to me as a bitch," Rinslet replied, "I get enough of that from that stupid hellcat. Do you even know who I am?"

"A stupid arrogant woman that needs to be brought down a peg," One of the men said.

Rinslet was annoyed and looked at the men with cold eyes.

"Fine, be stubborn," Rinslet said, "Fenrir."

Fenrir growled at the three men and the three men stepped back a bit as they were nervous at the ice wolf.

"Feel regret?" Rinslet asked feeling confident.

"Is this how you solve your problems?" A male voice asked.

Rinslet, Fenrir, and the three men looked and saw someone approaching them and it was Yoshikatsu.

"Hmm, man in black," Rinslet said, "same as the one who brought me here."

"Ah I see," Yoshikatsu said, "this wolf must be an Elemental Spirit," Yoshikatsu looked at Rinslet, "so must be an Elementalist."

Rinslet narrowed her eyes at Yoshikatsu. The three men were surprised to see Yoshikatsu.

"Huh, what's a Shinigami doing here?" One of the men asked.

Yoshikatsu just stared at Rinslet and Fenrir.

"I was passing by and couldn't help noticed what was going on," Yoshikatsu said, "young lady, you really shouldn't sic your partner on people just because you felt annoyed."

"Hmph, it's their fault for being such brutes," Rinslet replied back, "and it's certainly not my fault that I simply said things they did not like. Their reactions were just poor."

"You saying and acting like you were in charge around here," Another man said, "you're nobody!"

"A nobody?" Rinslet said, "Your ignorance is inexcusable."

"He's actually not wrong," Yoshikatsu said.

"Huh, excuse me?" Rinslet replied upset looking at Yoshikatsu.

"The way you're carrying yourself, it's obvious that you came from life of privilege when you were alive," Yoshikatsu said, "but you need to know that here, it is irrelevant. The way you go about things may have been fine for you in your time when you were alive but here, it's not going to cut it. We are all dead here and now just souls wandering in this afterlife so whatever status you may have had in the past means nothing here."

Rinslet was taken aback a bit and frowned at Yoshikatsu.

"I hope you understand in what I am saying," Yoshikatsu continued, "I am not trying to be rude and look down on you, I am just helping you and trying to get you to understand so that you know how things are here."

Hmph, you claim that you're helping me," Rinslet replied and then had a smug expression, "here's an idea. How about you bark like a dog for me and be my servant than I will see that you're trying to help me."

The men were annoyed and shocked at the audacity that Rinslet was acting and Yoshikatsu sighed sadly and shook his head.

"Oh dear, you haven't listened to anything I said," Yoshikatsu said, "or maybe you're still having trouble understanding. Perhaps I have failed to word it in a way that you can understand."

"So now you're calling me stupid," Rinslet said as she was offended, "you insist of being insulting."

"I didn't say you were stupid," Yoshikatsu said, "please don't let your pride blind and overtake you."

"Enough, I've had enough," Rinslet said as she feeling a bit red, "Fenrir."

Fenrir growled and glared at Yoshikatsu.

"Don't," Yoshikatsu pleaded.

Rinslet had Fenrir charged towards Yoshikatsu who easily dodged Fenrir's charging attack. Fenrir stopped and turned and growled at Yoshikatsu again. The ice wolf charged towards Yoshikatsu again and the silver haired Shinigami countered by doing a strong hand chop on Fenrir's neck and caught the wolf off guard and caused him to fall on ground feeling a bit paralyzed and couldn't move. Rinslet was shocked and worried for Fenrir.

"Fenrir!" Rinslet yelled scared for her contracted spirit.

Suddenly a blade was pointed at Rinslet's throat and it caused the Laurenfrost girl stopped as she was surprised seeing that Yoshikatsu was pointing his sword at Rinslet.

"Have you calmed down Miss?" Yoshikatsu asked.

Rinslet clenched her teeth as she was upset and worried for Fenrir.

"Don't worry, your contracted spirit going to be fine," Yoshikatsu assured, "he'll recover just fine but I hope you know that it didn't need to be this way."

Rinslet just glared at Yoshikatsu and calmed down. Yoshikatsu took it as a sign and sheathed his sword.

District 15 of West Rukongai

Claire and Scarlet arrived at a place where they were staying seeing the small house.

"We're back," Claire said.

Claire and Scarlet went in the small home and sat on the floor.

"Well that will do for today," Claire said.

Claire sighed sadly.

Flashback

I sense something," Suzuna said, "Something unique," Suzuna looked over to Claire, "You there girl."

"Huh, what do you want?" Claire asked as she turned and faced the woman.

"I sense something fiery within you," Suzuna said.

"Who are you?" Claire asked, "What do you want?"

Suzuna looked at Scarlet and smiled.

"What a cute little kitty you have," Suzuna commented.

"What do you want?" Claire asked feeling a bit hostile.

"My, my, no need to be on guard," Suzuna said, "anyway, there is something unique from you and I take it your little kitty is part of it."

"Who are you?" Claire asked.

"Oh don't mind me," Suzuna replied with a smile, "I just have a sense of unique spirit energies and something with it. Anyway, it would be interesting if you use what you have. Take care."

Suzuna left smiling.

Flashback End

"Who was that lady?" Claire asked.

"Meow," Scarlet responded.

"I don't know why, but that woman seemed like she was aware of me," Claire said, "almost like she knows what I am," Claire looked at Scarlet, "especially with you Scarlet."

Scarlet meowed in response again and Claire nodded at her contracted spirit.

"I would like it if we never meet that woman again," Claire said.

Scarlet went to Claire to snuggle up to her. Claire smiled and petted her fire cat.

Seireitei

Kamito and Velsaria were giving their report in the Yamamoto's office within the First Division Barracks. Their captains Yoruichi and Ginrei were with them. It was not pleasant report for them with what had occurred in the Human World. Yamamoto was sitting in his desk listening to the report along with his lieutenant Sasakibe.

"…and that concludes our report," Kamito said.

"Very well," Yamamoto said.

Later on, Kamito and Velsaria left the office with Ginrei and Yoruichi. The Captains of the 2nd Division and 6th Division spoke to each other for a bit and they left with their subordinates. As Ginrei and Velsaria was walking heading back to the 6th Division.

"Captain Kuchiki," Velsaria said.

"Yes, what is it Velsaria?" Ginrei asked.

"I am very sorry sir," Velsaria said, "I failed to fulfill my mission."

"Don't worry about it for now," Ginrei said, "we're dealing to strong and dangerous enemies. We have been fighting against the Demon Lord Spirits for centuries. It's good that you made it through alive. There will be another chance."

"Yes sir," Velsaria said.

Meanwhile Kamito was walking behind Yoruichi.

"I'm sorry I failed to defeat Belias," Kamito said.

"Forget it," Yoruichi said, "if you have time to feel bad and giving out apologies, use that time to improve. We know it won't be the last time to face against the Demon Lord Spirits," Yoruichi turned her head to face Kamito, "so just concentrate in getting better."

Kamito looked at his captain and nodded with determination.

"Yes ma'am," Kamito said.

"Good," Yoruichi said as she turned to the front, "Restia, Est, that goes for you two as well."

"Of course," Est's voice said.

"No need to tell us that," Restia's voice said, "of course, I won't let Belias get away again."

"Okay then," Yoruichi said.

They continue to make their way back to the 2nd Division Barracks. Meanwhile within the Shin'o Academy, Muir was in the Zanjutsu Hall and she drew her own sword and stared at the blade. She then held the hilt of her sword with two hands and gripped it and did a strong vertical swing releasing her spirit energy with her swing and caused the hall to shake. Muir smiled as she was pleased with herself.

"I'll be the one to be with my brother's side," Muir said, "and no one will stand between me and him and anyone who does, no matter who, I will strike them down."

Someone was watching Muir outside and it was Shuzen.

"That girl," Shuzen said in his head, "maybe I can have her to—"

Shuzen didn't get to finish his thoughts as he was suddenly blasted away and fell on ground. Shuzen was caught off guard and was surprised to see Muir standing before him and glaring at him.

"You have guts," Muir said, "I'll give you that."

"W-Wait, hold on," Shuzen pleaded, "I'm not an enemy."

"I'll be the judge of that," Muir said, "You're Shuzen Gensofuji."

"Y-Yeah, it's nice to meet you Muir Alenstral," Shuzen said as he got up, "you and I are in different classes but I have heard about you. You're quite a prodigy here."

"So what do you want?" Muir asked and then pointed her finger at Shuzen, "What happens afterwards depends on your answer."

"I would like for you and me to work together," Shuzen requested.

"Why would I do that?" Muir asked sounding annoyed.

"We can help each other," Shuzen said.

"Not interested," Muir said, "I have no need to work with anyone other than my brother."

"Brother?" Shuzen responded, "Are you referring to Kamito Kazehaya?"

"That's right," Muir responded proudly, "when I graduate, I plan to be with him and it will be just like before. So I have no need to do anything with you."

"What if I told you that you were targeted?" Shuzen asked, "And I was to tell you that Kamito Kazehaya is being targeted as well? I can help you with that. I have the means to help."

"I don't care," Muir said, "If anyone is dumb enough to go after my brother and me, well we'll just take care of them and they'll regret going after us. So your help is unnecessary and unwanted."

Shuzen was shocked and was upset that he was rejected again.

"Now go away," Muir said giving Shuzen a death glare, "You already annoyed me by bothering me."

"Uh… okay, okay, I'll leave," Shuzen said and felt sad, "sorry to bother you."

Shuzen turned and left and Muir watched as Shuzen left and she sighed.

"So stupid," Muir said and then smiled as she thought about Kamito and when the last time they spoke before Kamito left to join the Gotei 13, "I will see you soon."

The Next Day

Kamito was taking a stroll with Restia and Est within the city.

"Today is a fine day," Kamito said.

"Kamito, I want to get some snacks," Est requested.

"Heh, okay Est, we'll get something to eat," Kamito replied with a smile.

"Must be nice to keep babying her like this," Restia commented.

"Ah Restia, it's not like that," Kamito assured.

"What's wrong Vorpal Sword?" Est asked, "Jealous?"

"Me? Jealous?" Restia responded with a scoff, "Don't make me laugh."

"C'mon you two," Kamito said, "Don't fight."

"We're not fighting," Restia said.

"Yes, there's no fighting between us," Est said.

Kamito sighed hoping it was true.

"Amazing, it's just as I heard," A male voice said suddenly.

Kamito, Est, and Restia were surprised as they stopped and looked and saw the person who spoke and it was Aizen.

"Oh hello there," Kamito said.

"You're one of the Elementalists that I have heard about it," Aizen said with a warm smile, "You're Kamito Kazehaya," Aizen then looked at Restia, "You're the Dark Elemental Spirit named Restia," Aizen then turned to Est, "and you're the Steel Elemental Spirit called Terminus Est."

"Oh, you are well informed," Est said, "very good, you have my praise."

"Thank you very much," Aizen said happily.

"You're quite the individual coming up to us like this," Restia said.

"It's just that I have heard much about you," Aizen said, "especially during your time in the academy you faced against one the Demon Lord Spirits in your field training in the Human World."

"I see," Kamito said feeling humbled, "I wasn't aware that we were quite known. But I'm sorry but who are you exactly?"

"Oh pardon me, I didn't introduce myself," Aizen said, "I'm Sosuke Aizen, I am the Lieutenant of the 5th Division."

"I see," Kamito said, "it's nice to meet you Lieutenant Aizen."

"It's nice to meet you as well Kamito," Aizen responded.

As Kamito and Aizen were talking to each other, Restia looked on and narrowed her eyes and it was directed to Aizen.

District 10 of South Rukongai

Rinslet was in a small house petting Fenrir as they both thought about what happened when they met Yoshikatsu yesterday.

"How are you feeling Fenrir?" Rinslet asked with concern.

Fenrir responded by looking at his Elementalist and made light noise assuring her. Rinslet felt relieved and smiled.

"Thank goodness," Rinslet said, "I'm sorry. Yesterday you got hurt because of me. I'm so sorry. I got so upset and I was blind from the danger I was putting you through."

Fenrir went and nuzzled up Rinslet in which Rinslet felt happy and continued to pet Fenrir. Rinslet felt sad knowing that she and Fenrir were here in the Soul Society and the people she left behind, mostly her sisters and the people at the academy including Ellis and Claire.

"I wonder if they are here in the Soul Society as well," Rinslet said, "if they are, would it be possible to find them? Maybe even… Kamito," Rinslet thought about Kamito and the last time she saw him, "I wonder what I would say to him if I saw him… or any of the others…" Rinslet had a sad expression, "including Claire."

District 3 of North Rukongai

Ellis was standing by the river watching the water current. She had thoughts going through her mind. She then thought about when she confronted Jio and was shocked to see that he was a Shinigami. She couldn't stand the fact that Jio was the same person who defeated her and her fellow Sylphid Knights and fact that he was the one who ended Kamito's life. She then directed her thoughts to her sister Velsaria in which the last time she saw her, she was overtaken by the Curse Armament that was in her heart. Ellis felt depressed and someone suddenly next to her. Ellis looked and it was her own contracted spirit Simorgh. Her contracted spirit screeched and Ellis nodded at him.

"Yes, I suppose you're right Simorgh," Ellis said.

Ellis then went on her way with her contracted spirit.

One Year Later

It was that time again and it was the ceremony of people graduating from the Shin'o Academy. The graduating classes were in their Shihakusho and were lines taking part of the graduation. Among them was Leonora who was pleased and ready to begin her time as a Shinigami. There was another person who was taking part and it was Muir who after two years had already completed the curriculum of the academy and was joining the batch of students graduating from the academy. Muir was excited and thinking of her plans to be with Kamito. Muir was able to get the information of which division Kamito was part of and decided to join the same division. Soon, Yamamoto along with Sasakibe was on stage and Yamamoto gave his usual speech for the graduating students were going to be officially Shinigami of the Soul Society.

"Congratulations to all of you for graduating from the Shin'o Academy," Yamamoto started, "By going through the years, you have become part of the tradition of becoming a Shinigami and being part of the Gotei 13, the Onmitsukido, and the Kido Corps."

Yamamoto continued on with the speech for the graduation class and it was a new beginning for the students now Shinigami. The journey through the Shin'o Academy was over and the service as Shinigami began. The graduating class began to join or get recruited in the Gotei 13, the Onmitsukido, and the Kido Corps.

A Few Hours Later

The new batch of graduates was heading to various barracks of the Gotei 13 along with Kido Corps and the Onmitsukido. Leonora was in 9th Division Barracks and was waiting along with the other graduates in a large room where they were being welcomed by Kensei Muguruma who was the Captain of the 9th Division. Meanwhile Muir was in the 2nd Division Barracks and was welcomed in the large room by Yoruichi along with her lieutenant Marenoshin Omaeda. Muir looked around and hoped that she would see Kamito. Later in the hallway of the barracks, Kamito, Est, and Restia faced Muir who was giddy to see Kamito.

"Muir, you're here," Kamito said.

"Yes, I'm here," Muir said, "just like I promised, we're together again."
