Chapter 3
The Boiling Isles and proposal.
Evelyn who had retreated further into the woods. Has decided that she trusts Caleb enough. To take him to the Boiling Isles. And show him where she comes from. With that in wind Evelyn went home. The next day Evelyn waited for Caleb. At their usual meeting spot. Soon she saw Caleb and smiled. Caleb went up to her and said "Evelyn now that Philip knows. Where we meet every day. We should find a different place to meet." Evelyn nodded and said "Good idea Caleb. But today I'm going to take. You to my realm to show you. Where I come from."
"Are you sure about this Evelyn?" asked Caleb
"Yes I'm sure. You've proven that I can trust you." replied Evelyn
She got out a key and pressed the eye. Just then a door appeared and it opened. Evelyn took Caleb's hand and lead him through the door. Once through the door it closed and disappeared. Caleb looked around and is amazed at what he see. He can see a green sky, red trees, and red grass. Caleb can also see what looks like bones coming out of the grounds.
"Evelyn this place is beautiful." marveled Caleb
"Just wait until you see it from above." stated Evelyn
She summoned her staff and got on it. Then she held out her hand. At first Caleb was unsure about getting on Evelyn's staff. But he knows that she won't let. Anything happen to him. So he grabbed Evelyn's hand and she. Pulled him onto her staff. He grabbed the staff tight. As it took off into the sky. Evelyn flew up high enough. So that Caleb can get a good look at the Isles. Soon she said " Now this is a view." Caleb looked and is amazed what he sees.
"Oh wow Evelyn this place is amazing." marveled Caleb
For the rest of the day Evelyn showed Caleb around. It was getting dark by. The time Evelyn landed in front of her house. They both got off Evelyn's staff. Caleb is smiling from ear to ear.
"Evelyn you weren't kidding about how amazing this place is." beamed Caleb
"I'm glad that you had a great time." stated Evelyn
"I've has a wonderful time. This place is wonderful. And you're wonderful Evelyn. We will have to start meeting somewhere else. So that Philip and the towns people don't find you." beamed Caleb
Just then Caleb wrapped his arms around Evelyn. At first she wasn't sure what to think. But she cares for Caleb so much. So she returned the hug. That night Evelyn returned Caleb to the mortal realm. And on her way home. She found herself missing him already. As the days turned into weeks. And the weeks turned into mouths. Caleb and Evelyn meet either. In the mortal realm or on the Boiling Isles. Evelyn hid viles of Titan's blood in the mortal realm. Just in case she and Caleb needed it. Philip hates the fact. That Caleb has been meeting and falling for a witch. He's been trying to talk sense into Caleb. But Caleb just ignores him.
Evelyn's parents are intrigued that Evelyn. Had been falling in love with the young man. Lillian and Luke have met the young man. And they like him and think he's right for Evelyn. Right now Caleb and Evelyn are on a picnic by Evelyn's house. They have just got done eating. And are enjoying the day together. Caleb sighed happily and said "I'm glad that I listened to you. And got to know you Evelyn. And learned the truth about witches." Evelyn smiled and said "Right back at you Caleb. Caleb got into his pocket. Then he got on one knee with a ring in his hand.
"Evelyn Clawthorne will you make me the happiest man by becoming my wife?" asked Caleb
"Oh Caleb of course I'll marry you?" beamed Evelyn
Caleb put the ring on Evelyn's finger. Then pulled her in for a kiss. After they pulled away Evelyn asked "Where do you want to get married?" Caleb smiled and said "We'll get married here on the Isles. And I'll move over here with you." Evelyn also smiled and said "If you're sure. Than I can agree to that." After their picnic Caleb walked Evelyn home. Evelyn got out her portal door. She opened it and let Caleb go through. The couple plan on getting married in three months. Caleb plans on moving in with Evelyn a month before the wedding. And when he leaves he plans on. Leaving a note for Philip.
