Fast forward to two days later Marinette went to school, late as usual. But she again wasn't the last person coming in. As she entered the classroom and sat the door opened again and Adrien entered. To everybody's surprise he was smiling. Something the class hadn't seen in weeks. The sunshine prince was back. His smile again lit up the classroom. He nodded to mrs Mendeleiev and sat besides Nino. He pulled out his books and didn't notice all the stares directed at him. After he was ready he looked forward and saw how his teacher stared in disbelief at him. Then he realized. The whole room was quiet.

"What?" He asked, no answer.

"Come on guys can't a model have an depressive state like every other human being?" He asked with now a deadpanned look on his face. All the stares went from him and the lesson began.

At lunch he sat again at the table with his friends. The student who liked to bully people gave him a wide berth and didn't even have the Courage to raise his voice at anyone when Adrien was in the same room.

Adrien was again very talkative, in fact he talked more than he did ever before. But when the subject about his depression state came he would change the subject or just straight out ignore the question. After a while Marinette, Nino and Alya got the clue and stopped asking him.

After a while there was a comfortable silence. Marinette broke it and had to ask a question she wanted to ask him since the beginning of the year.

"Adrien" she began, not knowing how to form the sentence.

He looked to her with a smile that warmed her insides.

"I... I w... wanted to a... ask this a l... long time ago" she continued then took a deep breath and sputtered "Doyouwanttogooutwithmetonight?" Adrien had an confused look on his face. "Huh? Again and now slow please" he said

"Do you want to go out with me?" She said completely without stuttering.

Adrien's face showed that he was taken aback but he composed again and that heartwarming smile vanished.

"I'm sorry Marinette but i just got my heart and will broken and i can't trust anyone with my heart at the moment" he said and Marinettes Eyes widened. Not because of the rejection but because realization hit her. She knows now who he is for sure. She know that she had caused all the pain he went through.

Before anything else was said the Akuma alert went off and all students where urged to seek shelter. Marinette and Adrien had other plans.

Once out of sight of everyone outside Adrien called to Plagg "Plagg Claws out!" And the transformation began. The black suited cat jumped out of the window of the room and went onto the roof. The akuma had André the ice dealer. Instead of the huge balls of ice cream he now has purple skin and can fire Ice shards at a deadly velocity. He already hit multiple people and either impaled them or turned them into ice statues.

"Oi Ice Queen, why you ain't taking someone your own Weight class, huh?" He asked with his signature smug grin. The Akuma ignored his question and instead started to fire his ice shards at the black kitten.

Cat noir dodged the incoming projectiles with some back flips and other acrobatic moves. When he had no space to jump, turn and rolle anymore he started to spin his staff and either deflected or destroyed incoming ice shards.

After some time he heard a person landing behind him. "Hey kitty. I see you got all your hands full here" she said, trying to lighten the mood. Cat noir ignored that and instead build a plan in his head.

"Alright ladybug, i go right and distract him while you flank left and hit his spoon. I think there's the Akuma. He hadn't let it go a single time"

Ladybug looked saddened when she didhesr a single name or pun coming from her partner.

"Okay" she said reluctantly.

So the duo began. Cat noir ran and yelled out insults to aggravate the akuma. Ladybug went over the left but she was quiet the whole way there.

The akuma set it's sights on Cat noir and shot his Ice shards at him. Cat noir dodged the best he could, but all good has to come to en end eventually. So that's when one of the deadly ice shards hit Cat Noir's face. He mask prevented the shard from impaling the skin and causing greater damage but it still ripped half of the mask off. Even if he didn't get severely hurt, the hit threw him still of balance and he hit the roof face first. As he slid across the ground the mask fell of halfway. His face was now halfway exposed. Good that no bistanders where anywhere near to recognize him.

He looked up dazed as he heard Ladybug yelling.

"Kitty!" She yelled in concern. The akuma noticed her and began peppering her with the Ice shards. She dodged and then deflated with her yo-yo. Cat noir tried to stand up but he was to weak to stand up.

An ice shards went through the spinning yo-yo and nearly hit Ladybug. She got startled and her defense crumbled. Cat noir now overcame a jolt of Power and he jumped up. He ran as fast as he could towards Ladybug.

the time slowed down as he saw the one shard that would hit Ladybug. He followed its path. Once close enough Cat noir jumped and tackled down Ladybug and with that effectively getting her out of the danger zone. What he didn't account for was that the same ice shard that would hit Ladybug now hit him. The already damaged suit couldn't protect him and the ice shard impaled his upper stomach.

Ladybug was dazed as she opened her eyes. She looked to her left and there was the Akuma. Then she turned to her right and saw the motionless shape of Cat noir.

"Kitty?" She asked.

"Kitty wake up. We have to fight she siad." Her voice unintentionally beginning to shake.

"Chat please get up!" She yelled tears forming in her eyes. The Akuma advanced but Ladybug ignored it. she jumped over her Chat and turned him on his back. The sight of the wide open wound sent her into a spiral of sadness and rage. Then she noticed that his mask was missing halfway and her fear now only grew. She now definitely knew who Cat noir was without a doubt.

Single drops Tears formed in her eyes. Single drops that steadily grew into a waterfall.

A purple cloud appeared around the akuma and when it was gone André stood there, confused. Seconds later a portal materialized out of nowhere and Hawkmoth stepped through.

Ladybug pulled her partner towards her, trying to protect him. Hawkmoth advanced towards them but stopped in his tracks as he recognized the bleeding boy in front of him. As soon as he came he disappeared again. Ladybug was confused but couldn't care less.

"Mi'Lady?" She heard in a weak voice. She looked down and began sighed in happiness. Cat noir had opened his eyes and called her Mi'Lady again. Cat noir coughed and blood came out of his mouth.

Ladybug took his head and rested it on her thigh. He looked up and smiled. Again the heartwarming smile she loved so much. But his eyes. These forest green eyes filled with pain where what sent her over the edge.

"You stupid alley cat. Why did you do this" she said in a broken voice and trying her best to stop the bleeding.

"Ain't it obvious [cough cough] I love you, bugaboo" he said and she again started crying. "I love you too you idiot"

Cat noir noticed that his mask was missing. He looked at her in fear but relaxed again as she gave him a reassuring smile. "I know it already" she said. "You ain't gonna scold me or something?" He said sarcastically, trying to lighten the mood. Then his ring signaled him that he was about to detransform.

"Claws in" he said and a green light surrounded him as the black suit disappeared. Plagg flew out and immediately to Adriens cheek.

"Oh no Adrien!" He yelled. "No worries plagg. All will be okay" he said and then fainted. His arm fell limb to his side.

"No No No No! Adrien? Adrien!" Yelled ladybug.
