Scarab is a Bribeclaw. He has light blue and purple skin and yellow eyes.
Scarab is often shown to make sarcastic remarks about almost everything and can be seen as rather rude at times, but there is a slight chance this personality is not always who he is. When the Rangers first met the Star Fox team, Scarab appeared to be more innocent and insecure. Neither team were not hesitant to accept him as a friend, even when he was not so sure himself. His obnoxious behavior is most likely derived from his past family. Despite his seemingly unfriendly attitude, Scarab does indeed care greatly about the people he is attached to, as prominently displayed when he gets angry when Mars is almost killed by a blarg soldier.
He fights using a blaster and a long spear.
