Chapter 14: Old Friends.
I topple into a concrete alley, with Toga and Uraraka already up. "Are you okay?" Alternate Toga asks. I can only grunt, the pain hurts. It's nothing compared to Toga's wounds though. I stand up, and walk over, checking her wounds. One in the shoulder, two in the left leg, one in the right. "We…we need to find a hospital." I say. Uraraka picks her up, and we start moving down the street. I trip, and I hit my head on the concrete. Alternate Toga picks me up, and helps me walk. We walk for about three blocks, but I haven't gained my bearings yet. We hear shouting across the street, and see two thugs beating up a guy on the floor. One of them….has a quirk! His arms are long, so I guess he can change the length of his limbs? Now we know we are in the right universe. I stare at the thugs, not realizing I should probably do something. Suddenly, a familiar purple-haired girl runs up, and apprehends the thugs. Oh My God. She is considerably older, taller, and….curvier. "Oh my god." Uraraka says. "It's jirou!" We watch her take out her phone, and she looks around the street. Her eyes linger on us. She shakes her head, and looks back at her phone. "First time im allowed to drink and I get fucking drunk." I take away two things from this. One, she's old enough to drink, and two, she thinks we are hallucinations. "Y-you aren't drunk." I call out. She freezes, and looks up. She puts her phone away, and runs across the street. She shoots her ear-jacks at us, one at me, one at Uraraka. Uraraka gets shocked, but I manage to grab her jack that she shot at me. She moans when I grab it. "What's wrong?" She retracts her jack. "What's wrong? WHAT'S WRONG? Do you know how long we've been looking for you? And now you turn up out of the blue all the sudden? Why the HELL do you look 16?" "It's probably because I AM 16" I reply. She shakes her head, and turns to Uraraka. "AND YOU! YOU THINK IT'S OKAY TO LEAVE US TOO?" I can see Uraraka getting angrier, she always has a short fuse these days. Jirou looks at the bloody Toga in Uraraka's arms, then Alternate Toga, who is still helping me stay up. "Is that….Himiko Toga? WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CARRYING HER? I SHOULD CALL THE POLICE!" Now Uraraka starts yelling. "I WOULDN'T IF HE DIDNT MAKE ME!" She points at me. "L-look, I will explain everything, but PLEASE, can we get her to a hospital?" I ask. Jirou looks at Toga, bloody and unconscious. She huffs. "Whatever." She takes us to the nearest hospital. We bring Toga inside the E.R. and doctors put her in a bed and rush her to be treated. We wait until she comes back, and we all sit down in the room designated for her. "I need an explanation from you, Midoryia!" I sigh. "Can we wait for the class to get here? Do you still have their contacts?" She nods. "Can you text them?" She nods again. "It will be easier to explain all at once, then multiple times." She takes out her phone, and dials a number. "Hey Momo, can you meet me at the park asap? I'll explain later. Alright, bye." I wonder why she called Momo. She starts texting, presumably to the class. Just then, the doctor comes out. "Okay, so we got good news, and bad news. The good news is she's alive, and the bad news is that She'll be here for at least three weeks to make a full recovery." "Thank you, doctor." I say, relieved. She nods, and then walks away. Thank goodness. She's alive. "Okay, I've texted everyone, and most of them can make it. Should we get going?" Jirou asks. I nod, and we all stand up and walk out of the hospital. Jirou seemed a little weary of alternate Toga, as she always stayed on my right, with alternate Toga on Uraraka's left. We take about ten minutes to walk to the park, and when we get there, Jirou leads us behind a tree. "You guys will wait here, and once everyone arrives, I'll tell you to come out okay?" "Okay." We say in unison. About 15 minutes later, we hear a car pull up, and we hide behind the tree, and jirou goes out to greet them. "Kyoka!" Is that…Momo? First name basis? "What's wrong? Are you okay? Did you get in trouble?" Momo's voice sounds older, but more ...I cant tell. Broken? I don't know. "Yes, I'm fine." Jirou reponds. "I'll tell you once everyone else gets here okay?" I assume Momo nods, because nothing is said after that. More cars arrive, and soon, we hear a lot of voices. Some are recognizable, like Kirishima, and Asu-I mean Tsu. But the majority of the voices I don't recognize. "This is a weird way to introduce us." Alternate Toga whispers. "She probably doesn't want to explain everything twenty times." Uraraka replies. My vision blurs, and I feel nauseous. My vision and nausea clear. I'm probably tired. Haven't slept since the plane. I hear jirou quiet everyone. "So guys, we've been on the hunt for Uraraka and midoriya, and…I found them." The class is dead silent, and then screaming takes place. "Where!? HOW? When?" I hear from the crowd. "Just…you'll see. Come out guys." I get up, and us three emerge from behind the tree. I look, and see that almost everyone there has grown. Everyone there is taller than me by 3 inches. I see many classmates, Mina, Sero, Momo, Shoji, and so on. I also see a green haired girl that I don't recognize. All of them are looking at us with shock. Alternate Toga is trying to hide behind me and Uraraka. "That is NOT them." Kaminari says. "Why do they look sixteen?" Mina asks. "Kyoka! This isn't them! They could be Himiko Toga for all we know!" Momo says. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was not expecting this reaction. "I..I..Uh.." Jirou didn't sound as convinced as before. I snort. I'm kinda pissed, my emotions are all over the place. I don't know why. I shoot blackwhip at the three who vocally doubted me. However, they all dodged, and the whole class takes a defensive stance. Kaminari shoots his disks at me, which I easily dodge. Mina sprays acid, and again, I easily dodge. "DEKU YOU IDIOT!" Uraraka shouts. She's busy dealing with Sero. Ojiro comes up behind me, and hits me with his tail square in the back. I'm winded, and super mad. Danger sense alerts me of more acid, disks, and dark shadow. I dodge the first two, then get dark shadow aligned with ojiro, then power up to 45%. No, control yourself. 15% SMASH!Dark shadow returns to Tokoyami. I smirk. "You guys are older and more experienced, and you STILL can't beat me." They don't respond to that lightly, as they try even harder to get me. Danger sense again, but it's too late. A wet tongue wraps around my throat and starts choking me. I shoot blackwhip back at Tsu, choking her as well. But, there is a problem. I can hold my breath longer than a frog can, so for now, I'm stuck. Think, think. I start to get a bit lightheaded. I see Uraraka battling Shoji, Sato, Sero, and Momo now. The only people not fighting are Jirou and the green haired girl. I pull the blackwhip connecting to Tsu's throat to me, and kick her in the stomach. She lets go of my throat, but I use blackwhip to fling her into the ground. I use smokescreen at 45%, so I can catch my breath, which is ironic. "Everyone calm down!" I shout. "It really is me!" The smoke starts to clear. "Like we are dumb enough to fall for that, ribbit!" I hear Tsu say. "I can prove it! My power is One-For-All! I can use danger sense, smokescreen, blackwhip, float, and gearshift!" They all stop. Good. "On the Island! I had Shoji and Jirou protect Katsuma!" "That's true," Shoji says. I look and see Uraraka standing with alternate Toga, her battle done with the four. "Even if it is you Midoriya, why do you look sixteen?" Mina asks. "If you all stop attacking us, maybe I could tell you!" They all make space for me to land, as I had been using float. They all seemed weary of us still. I recount the story, starting from the day we say All-For-One. I also left out some unimportant details. I Told them to save questions for the end. "But why do you look like that?" Mina asks. "I can only assume that time works differently here than it does there." "When I got there, Midoriya said it had only been six hours, but to us it was six months." That sentence stung me, because Uraraka had never once called me Midoriya. She hates me now, but…I guess I can't blame her. I stand up. "So where is-" My vision blurs again, and I stagger. I feel intense pain coming from my shoulder and leg. "Oh yeah. I got shot. How the hell did I not notice until now?" The last thing I see is my face plummeting toward the ground.
A/n. Sorry for the delay on this one, I've caught up with what I've written in my book, so it might be longer waits in between chapters from now on. Cya next time!
