Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of The Reaper and the Warrior. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I do not own Overlord, Kugane and a few others do.

Gaidar paused, too unsure of it, for now, he had been too unable to deal with it. He had so much else left to lose, to win even when it came to combat, and to surrender now?

No, it just would not have worked now or ever. He had been too willing to have had it done and dusted for now and for good reason.

He had been too unable to deal with such ideals… With her for now… He looked at her, pausing to think of it… And even then? He could not allow it… He could not allow it for now.

He had a lot more on his mind, something that would not be able to be understood. He had bigger fish as he seemed to keep thinking of what was going on. He had a lot more to deal with for now as he seemed to think of something else for now.

He had been too thrown for now as he paused to think, to find something he had a lot more pain on his mind.

"We're going to war, aren't we?" Zesshi asked as she charged at him, he paused to think of the consequences for now.

She was too relaxed, too interested as their scythe and sword met. He had been too thrown off, too willing to do something for now… The chaos within as their blades met only made him want to laugh as he knew something and yet could not be done and dusted.

There was more chaos on his mind, something he could not deal with as he had wished… There was more to it… And even then? He had been willing to deal with it for now and the rest of the culture.

He had more to deal with, for now, more he could manage. He spun his sword and deflected a strike from her, a kick which sent him skidding away from her for but a moment as he clicked his fingers against one another, she had been giddy as she paused.

She had been tired, too exhausted to think… They had a lot more to try and deal with it for now as she paused. They had been in combat as he cracked his fingers and then looked to the side.

He had a lot more to this; a lot more than he could allow. He and she circled, dancing like snakes as he allowed himself to relax, he allowed himself to think as he and she prepared for combat once again.

She was strong, powerful, and skilled and she spun her scythe through her fingers as she and he prepared for another circle of combat. She had been too familiar, too unwilling to deal with something for now.

There was too much on his mind, he had a lot more on his mind, something which horrified him to no degree. He was going to be dealt with in due time but not this way, not when it could have been dealt with at the end of the day.

Such a degree would be harder and harder to try and fix… It would be harder and harder to fix. He would need to fix it sooner or later and this was not something he could fix.

Such a problem would only appear to force him to make more problems at the end of the day. It was harder to try and deal with for now… He would continue to try and deal with it in his way.

He had been too familiar with it for now, he had been familiar with it he had a very large amount of mercy within it.

She spun her scythe, eager for a rematch… For a fight which had been something he had tried and failed to deal with… All he could do. He was too interested in the next move and knew that whatever it was? There were a lot of things he could have done… And a lot more he would be doing next and more interested.

All of it meant little for he had little to see and do.

He dodged it, pointing his sword at them, and then giggled with some amusement which was returned. If anything? He had been unfamiliar with it to the end, knowing what was going on.

So much was going on as he dodged a sword from her which would have ripped his skull in half and made it slowly force him towards which he could relax. He knew more and more with each passing moment, causing him to relax, to know what was going on and he had a lot of power within him.

He had a lot more to see with which he would deal with it at the end of the day, a decision that he could not stand.

He blocked his sword and then spun her around, trying to stab her only for her to dodge. He was quiet, he was not going to be dealt with it. He would not be able to try and deal with it for now.

She smirked at him as the two circled each otherwise… He had been unable to deal with it for now as he clicked his fingers and then looked downwards to the ground.

He had been thrown into the wringer before and now? Now he had just been easily distracted, cut off for now at the end of the day, he had so much left.

He had not been able to deal with it then but he could have dealt with it next, such was life and life was honestly rather good in that sort of way.

He sighed to himself while knowing the best way to relax was to do nothing, knowing what would become of it at the end of the day.

There was too much on the mind, knowing what was growing on the mind, he knew that at the end of the day. He had a lot more problems to deal with for now, he clicked his fingers before he sighed to himself.

There were a lot of things on his mind as he clicked his fingers before it all came down to it for now, knowing what was growing on his mind, she had a lot more on the mind.

Such was life either way and it would come crashing down to it as she paused, thinking of what was growing on her mind before as she seemed to be able to think of what was going on.

She would not be able to relax, that was growing on now. She would be able to deal with it for now as she paused to let it all come down, there were a lot of things that could not be done and dusted.

She would not be able to relax as she cracked her fingers, spinning her blade before she paused and looked at her.

There was something to try and figure it all out for now, knowing was growing on at the end of the day. That and that alone was not going to stop them at the phrase they were at.

There was something else going on as their weapons clashed, throwing sparks everywhere at the end of the day… There was something else on his mind, something he could not handle yet when he thought about it all the while lamenting what was to come to it.

He had been too silent, too thrown off… And yet? He found it to be amusing, trivial even to his extremes as he spun his scythe and looked over at them once more now. He was far more capable of fighting, far beyond the excess that he had shown and far beyond it in ways he could not have allowed.

It was clear, very clear… That whatever was done? Well, it had to be shown to be a counter, a problematic thing that was not meant to be done… Could not be done even at the end of the day.

It was all chaotic, very chaotic which needed to be dealt with properly… Far more properly than it should have been for now… Whatever chaos was left on his mind? It held no such advantages in close combat…. All he had left was fighting hand to hand as he dodged one of her kicks which would have split them in half if anything was tried.

Though? Being fair? He knew damn well what his weaknesses were and tried his best to take them apart in such combat.

He held no such advantages, nothing he could do which needed to be dealt with as he paused, thinking back to it, and then dealing with it once more. He knew her, he knew how she moved… And he desired more of it than she could give… The only problem he held it down.

All of it just meant something he could not exactly figure out now. Such was life, it was funnier that way.

He held no dislike against her for how it went for them at the end of the day. It had been hard for him to understand what came and went… Yet? Here it was.

Yes, something about it all came down the line. There was nothing further to this beyond what had to be done and what needed to occur was simple… They had such fun to deal with and he held nothing against her at all when it was all said and done.

Zesshi was able to fight through it all for now as she paused to try and fight through it all when it came down to it.

She twirled her scythe and looked at him with such amusement when it was all said and done now, too eager to figure it all out.

She did not even know what was growing in her mind, she only knew that such a thing was harder and harder to figure out now, that such was not going to end for now and for later.

The two looked to the side, eager to deal with such an idea to try and figure it out when it came down to it. Gaidar aimed his sword towards her and seemed to be prepared for another fight, she seemed eager to fight him and she knew whatever was growing on her mind.

Zesshi was silent and she was too eager to figure it all out when he came down now. Zesshi was eager to engage him and to fight her once more, she twirled her scythe before Gaidar rushed forward.

He seemed to slam into her, throwing them around with interest. He had no damn clue what was going on and no attempt to try and explain that would help.

He was amused, Gaidar knew he was more amused than anything and that was enough to set him alight. What he did not know was how powerful she was and just how to stop her at the end of the day.

What was going to bug him? Simple, he had so many problems left to deal with, and now? Now he was dancing to the death with someone who was just as powerful as him.

All it did was bother him and she did not know what was going on at the end of the day.

But to her? She was eager to figure it out now and for good reason at the end of the day he clicked it into place before he sighed and then thought once more.

"Hmm. We have a lot more to try and do, you and I both know something crazy is going on." Zesshi seemed to think of it once more as she clicked her fingers as she wished to be done for now at the end of it.
