"You are not planning on running off again, are you?"

Izuku turned around and saw Kyoka standing there; they hadn't had a chance to talk after 1-A had finally dragged him home. He was clean and had slept for the first time since that night. "No," he said. "I shouldn't have run off that time either…"

"No, you shouldn't have," she said quickly. "But maybe all things happen for a reason."

"Look, Kyoka, about that night…"

"Denki and I are back together." She said quickly. "That night was nice, a mistake but a nice mistake. It may not be possible, but let's leave it where it is, in the past."

"I…" he started before stopping and looking at the sky again. "Ok. I hope you and Denki can make it work."

-Present-

"Wait, are you serious, Ibara, Deku?" Itsuka said, heavily slurred. She was tied to a chair as she had attempted to head home to Tetsu so they could catch up to Pony in one go.

The Vine user was lying on the floor staring at the ceiling, "One day, I want to have a ceiling that spins, man. Momo, how much does that cost."

"No idea," Momo slurred. "I just signed the papers when this place was built."

"Ibara, Ibara, wait listen, DEKU?" Itsuka slurred out again.

"Yes, DEKU!" she said. "He was so damn hot when he did that PSA about being comfortable in your skin….forgive me, lord, for the thoughts that ran through my head and deeds I performed…." she said, fanning herself.

"Oh god, that one," Yui said from behind the couch. "That was hot; Katsuki was so mad when I said that," she giggled. "Best sex ever!"

"I never thought of him as sexy till that ad campaign," Set said her limbs floating around her. "I wanted to ask him out in school but Ochaco was all possessive and shit.

"Man, I love Ochaco, Ribbit," Tsu said from under the coffee table. "But man fuck her…she is all I want to wait till we go pro, makes him wait all of the third year, then…then they get together, and she fucking leaves to go to space. They were together for like a year; that was such bullshit. He was so sweet about it, too, man fuck her."

"I kissed him once," Toru suddenly blurted out. The room went silent. "Two years ago, we were at a gala, started talking, a little too much red wine, and bam."

"You never said anything, you bitch," Mina said, stumbling across the room to her best friend. "What happened?"

"That mother fucker can kiss," Toru slurred as she took a drink off the bottle. "Like panties dropping, and they did. I told him he could do anything and ensured he knew I meant ANYTHING… and you know what he does."

"NO!" Mina gasped, taking her drink off the bottle.

"I don't want to be another one-night stand or a mistake left in the past," Toru said, deepening her voice. "I was stunned, and he took me in his arms and got me home safe. I called him the next day and played like I didn't know what happened… he plays it cool, doesn't say a thing,"

"Muscles, oh god yea," Mei said, stumbling in from down the hall. "He can get it anytime; I told him so when I worked on his new suit. We are in the lab, right? His face was buried in my baby factory when that goddamn Kaiju made landfall, and I haven't gotten him back near it since. Stupid fucking Kaiju."

"I remember that day," Momo said suddenly. "I was on the scene as we were getting the perimeter reinforced; Shoto and Bakugo were on the way when he came barreling in out of nowhere and took that thing down with authority. He was so annoyed."

"Why didn't you call him back?" Reiko said, floating the bottle to herself.

"I did," Mei winced. "Two weeks later, I got wrapped up in something and lost track of time. I hurt his feelings. We are friendly now, but I think I missed the boat."

"I hope he finds someone," Mina said. "He is too good to be alone like he is. You talk to him the most, Momo. How is he doing."

"He works way too much; he is a loving father and lonely. He doesn't say it, but I can see it." The heiress said, resting her head on Kyoka's shoulder.

"A toast to Deku!" Mina cried out.

-Morning After-

It was a disaster area. They had all passed out in the living room; after the toast to Deku, there were toasts to all their friends and some inanimate objects at the end. It was all a blur.

Kyoka stood in the shower nibbling on a mushroom from Kinoko that was doing wonders for her hangover. She absently rubbed the scar on her arm. She was wondering if she should reach out to him.

-Across town-

"Kyoka is back in town." Red Riot said as he handed a breakfast burrito to his friend Deku.

"Oh. That's nice," He said, sitting on the edge of the building. "She here for a tour or something?"

"No, I think she is moving back after the divorce." He said, taking a seat next to Deku. "How was your date the other night with Fuyumi?"

"It was alright, I guess," he shrugged. "I don't think I feel that way about her. She gets along okay with Eri, but I don't feel that connection."

"That sucks, bro." Eijiro patted his shoulder. "You need to get out there, find someone and settle down."

"I thought I had, but then how could I stand in the way of her dream," he said forlornly. "I messed up the other one, and the other shit just goes wrong. Toru was drunk, then she called me up and didn't remember anything; Mei ghosted me for two weeks. Bash felt wrong; the way she looked at me with stars in her eyes made me feel creepy. The closest thing I have to a female relationship is when I see Momo because our agency overlap."

"What about Momo?" he said, taking a bite. "She and Shoto have been split for a while; you two always got along, especially in the second year you became class president. You guys are all big-brained and stuff. I always thought you two would have been a good couple."

"I don't know," he sighed. "Momo is great, but…"

"But what," Eijiro said. "Look, I will drop a casual mention to Mina, let her little matchmaking side run rampant, and see if there are any feelings on Momo's side. Cause you know she can't help herself."

"You know what?" Deku said. "Sure, do it."

"What?" Ejiro replied, slightly stunned.

"Yeah," he said. "She is smart, intelligent, and beautiful. We have many of the same views, and I don't want to be alone forever. If things work out with Momo, I know I will be a priority, and Eri likes her."

"Wow, okay, I will drop a hint to Mina and let her work." Their watches beeped as they tossed their wrappers in a trash can. "I will see you at the end of the shift. Let's grab a drink before we head home. Sero and Ojiro are in the area."

"Sounds good, but only one for me. I need to get home to Eri," Deku called as he saluted and jumped off the building.

"Show off!" Ejiro yelled, activating his soft fall boots and jumping off in the other direction.

-Kirishima Household-

"How was your patrol today, stud," Mina called to her husband as he tossed his uniform in the laundry hamper.

"It was good," he called out as he walked towards the bathroom, turning on the shower. "It was good to see Izuku. How was your party last night."

"It was super awesome," Mina said, smiling. "We got super drunk and had to tie Itsuka to a chair so she didn't run home and make any more babies with Tetsu. It was great to see Kyoka again after everything, you know.?"

"I talked to Denki, but he is just all in a degenerate mode right now, so I let it go," Ejiro replied, tossing his undergarments into the basket. "Oh baby, did you see that press spread on HNN with Momo and Izuku? They looked so good; it was a press thing for their United Charity." He smiled as he stepped into the shower. Most assumed that Ejiro wasn't crafty, and they would be correct, but one thing he did know was how to bait his wife into going all matchmaker.

Mina finished applying her lotion and grabbed her phone, logging in to see what her husband was talking about, and her jaw just hit the floor. Momo was in a stunning dark green evening gown with a high slit up her leg that hugged her body perfectly. Izuku was in this perfect suit with matching accessories; his hair was all cut and styled, and they looked like the ideal couple standing there. Mina began to nibble on her thumb as she scrolled through the article, them waiving, posing for photos with their arms around each other's waist—shots of them eating and laughing together and candid shots of them dancing later in the evening. The best was one on a balcony just talking, but the setting was picture-perfect. The headline read: HAS CREATI FOUND A NEW LOVE WITH THE NUMBER ONE HERO DEKU?

Mina ensured the shower was still running before forwarding the article to Toru.

Alien Queen: Have you seen this?

M.I.A: OH shit, was Momo holding out on us last night?

Alien Queen: I don't know, but they look so good together.

M.I.A.: I shipped them the second year, OK, so I heard from someone that they kissed the second year.

Alien Queen: You never told me that.

M.I.A.: I was sworn to secrecy, but fuck her, she is off planet.

Alien Queen: Oh shit, that makes sense was that around the time that she went all super protective over him.

M.I.A.: Yup!

Alien Queen: You know what we must do!

M.I.A.: Yes, my captain. I am willing and ready.

-A Few Days Later-

Café Divine

"Thanks for taking Eri shopping, Momo," Izuku said, looking at the menu.

"Yes, thank you so much," Eri added. "Dad has no fashion sense; if you hadn't intervened, I would still look like I was seven."

"But you were so cute then," he said, "and what do you mean no fashion sense," he motioned to his outfit, a nice short-sleeved button-down fitted shirt and black slacks with matching shoes and a silver watch.

"Aunty Momo bought all of those," Eri giggled. "She has slowly replaced your whole wardrobe without you knowing it."

"Shh, Eri," Momo whispered while smiling. "But watch as he puts it all together right now." The girls turned their attention to him as the slowly dawning look of realization danced across his face. Momo snapped her fingers and started laughing, "There it is!" Eri joined in, laughing.

"I have been hoodwinked!" he exclaimed.

"I couldn't have my partner constantly making the worst-dressed list every year," she said, giggling behind the menu. "I have an image to uphold and you desperately needed help."

"He did," Eri said.

"What is a poor man to do, betrayed by his daughter, best friend, and business partner," he dramatically placed his head in his hands.

"You are better off just letting Aunty have her way," Eri said, patting his arm. "Are you two dating?"

They both stopped at the record scratch. "W-W-what?" Izuku sputtered.

"What gave you that notion?" Momo said, keeping her voice calm.

Eri grabbed her phone and showed them the article. "My friends were asking me about it at school, Kota said it was about freaking time."

"That was the charity gala for United," Momo said. "Though your father did ask me to dance, he may have been trying something." She added teasingly.

"I-I was not trying anything," he said, blushing. "You said how much you enjoyed the band and wished someone would ask you to dance."

"And you did just that, my gallant knight," Momo said, a twinkle in her eye. "Now, let's order our food."

Eri giggled at the whole thing; when Izuku went to take a phone call, she turned to Momo. "I wouldn't mind it if you and Dad did start dating." She said softly. "He is lonely, and you make him happy. Also, you wouldn't run off and leave him like Uraraka did." Momo could feel the hurt in Eri's voice; Ochaco has been such a part of Eri's life, becoming that mom figure. "You have always been there for us after Grandma and Grandpa passed and when she left us. You took care of him and me. I-I- Would it be okay if I stopped calling you Aunty and called you Mom?" Eri fidgeted nervously with her hands. "That's how I think of you."

Momo was stunned into silence; all the girls had been Aunty to Eri since she came into Izuku's life. Momo had been very close with her; she was the one who explained to Eri what was going on when her first period arrived, and the two would talk all the time and go on outings together. Eri was like her daughter; she loved the girl deeply and cared for her just as much. "I would be honored, Eri," Momo said, hugging the girl to her side.

"Thanks, Mom," Eri said, testing out the word; it fluttered into Momo's heart and took root. Izuku returned to see Eri snuggled up to Momo, sniffling some.

"Is everything ok?" he asked gingerly.

"It is, but you and I should talk later," Momo said. "Everything alright?"

"Yes, there was just a small problem down at the docks and Bash was just a little confused about how to handle it," he replied. "Nothing I need to involve myself in."

-Later-

Eri had headed to her room, leaving the two adults in the kitchen. Izuku pulled out tea, smiling as he realized he had her favorite stocked in the pantry, as it was also Eri's favorite.

"Is everything ok?" he asked.

Looking around at some of the photos lining the walls, Momo stopped to notice how she was present in many of them at different milestones for Eri. "Yes, but something did happen today at lunch."

He set her cup in front of her and poured the hot water over the infuser. "Continue."

"Eri asked if she could call me Mom instead of Aunty. She said that was how she thought of me." She paused, seeing if he would say something.

"That makes sense; even when Ochaco was around, she would gravitate to you first, and you have always been there for the big and small moments, like when she had her first crush and heartbreak. I couldn't talk to her, but you could." He said.

"I do love her, Izuku; I love her dearly." She said softly. "I would like to continue doing what she and I have been doing, but I may need to interfere more. Is that okay?"

"Momo, you have been there through everything, and I mean fucking everything. If you didn't disappear from us before now, I don't think you will do so now. I would love for you to continue doing what you are doing and be her mother." He said, pulling the infuser out of his tea.

"Izuku, do you think I am pretty?" she said, pulling out her infuser and setting it on the tray.

Izuku gulped, "Of course you are, Momo; you are among the most beautiful women I have ever met."

"Am I smart?"

"Brilliant," he said.

"Available?"

"Yes," He whispered.

"Then why haven't you asked me for a date?" she said.

"Truth?" she nodded. "I am scared. You know my relationship history, and it is not good. I always thought you were gorgeous, and after that day in the classroom, we just pulled back and stuff. But then you were with Shoto, I was chasing after Ochaco, she left, and then you and Shoto…"

"And now?" she said, raising an eyebrow.

"Momo, would you like to go on a date with me?" he said clearly.

"Yes, Izuku," she responded with a smile. "Let's check out calendars," She pulled out her phone as he did the same and set a date for next Friday night. Lurking on the stairs, Eri raced to her room, gently closing the door before doing the happy dance.

-Momo's House-

Momo walked in and heard a few strums on a guitar, which brought a smile. Entering the living room, she saw Kyoka sitting on the couch with a purple fender in her arms and a notebook open.

"Good to see you writing again, Kyo," she said, sitting on the opposite end of the couch.

"Well, I have to wait for the paperwork to finish for my hero license and then the re-test before I can even begin hero work in Japan. But I can still see about some new songs." She smiled. "You are home late."

"Lunch spiraled into a longer day, but it was nice; I need to talk to you," Momo said, catching Kyoka's attention.

"Do I need to make myself scarce?" Kyoka asked.

"No, but Eri asked if she could call me Mom today," Momo began. "And I realized that I love that girl like she was my daughter, so Izuku talked, and I am also going on a date with him."

"Oh, you and Izuku?" she said, nibbling on her lip. "That's cool; why would that bother me?"

Momo raised an eyebrow. "Kyoka, in our second year, when I told you we kissed, you word vomited about the two of you having sex. You then told me that you had messed up and were still trying to figure out how to put things right." She said, locking her eyes with Kyoka. "I stepped back as a good friend should because I could tell something complicated was happening there. The Ochaco did her speech, and I stepped back more and ended up dating Shoto."

"Did you tell him about us? About New York?" Kyoka said quietly.

"No, but I can if you like," Momo said. "We spent a magical week together, and when I asked you to come home and be with me, you said NO. That hurt Kyo, but I brought you here and into my home when you reached out. You told him to leave what happened in the past. Are you asking me to step back because you want to be with him? Or that you want to be with me?"

"No," Kyoka said, "I am not saying anything like that, Momo. I love you. I want you to be happy and him to be happy. It sounds like he has had a rotten run at love. I am cool with it, I promise."

"Ok," Momo said, getting to her feet. "There is no walking this back, Kyo. I will pursue this because I want my happy ending, and I think he can give it to me."

"He is a good guy; I am sure you will get what you want," Kyoka said. "Goodnight, Momo."

"Goodnight, Kyo."

She turned back to her notebook, looking down at the first lines.

Let me sing you a waltz.
Out of nowhere.
Out of my thoughts.
