At World's End.
Darkness.
Never-ending darkness.
How long had it been since he had seen the light?
Ten?... no—fifteen centuries.
Or wait? Was it a bit longer? Honestly, he'd lost track.
Surprisingly, the void didn't have any clocks to keep track of the time.
It was painful, extremely so. But at the same time, he felt no pain at all.
It was a strange feeling, one he had not been familiar with up until he got here. He felt everything and nothing at the same time, it was a paradox. A contradiction, something that could not exist unless nothing was there at all. Yet he was there at the same time.
It has been like this since he got here— when did he get here?
Did he even get here? Or did the void get to him while he stayed? He didn't know.
Kaguya had done well in that respect. She was the one to do this.
He had defeated her, of course. Yet, at the same time, he had lost.
Or he had felt he had lost… lost everyone.
Who did he lose again?
He remembered: Dark hair, black eyes— or were they red? Blue hair, lavender eyes. Pink hair, green eyes. White, silvery hair with mix matched eyes, both black and a spinning red.
Who were they again?
Names came to his mind, as well as the faces they belonged to: Sasuke, Hinata, Sakura, Kakashi-sensei and so much more…
Iruka, Tsunade. Kiba, Lee, Gai, Tenten, Shino. Imo, Shikamaru, Choji. Gaara, Temari, Kankuro.
There were many names, yet he couldn't quite remember who they were.
Wait? Who was Kaguya again?
White hair longer than the earth, eyes the color of the moon. Horns that pierced the heavens, and a red orb that held nine tomoe within the sky.
The rabbit goddess, or was she the rabid goddess? He didn't know.
There had been a battle, he had been battling her—with Sasuke. He had been there too, with his purple and red mismatched eyes that allowed him to travel faster than anyone could blink.
He was much the same, traveling faster than anyone could see. As he glowed as bright as the sun—what was a sun?
They battled the goddess, but Sasuke had fallen— died. The seal they had was useless without the second son.
He was really, really angry. So angry that he saw red, more so than Kurama could manage.
Kaguya fought back, she refused to die and refused to give in. She wanted him— his chakra, the world's chakra. She wanted to kill them, and she did.
She killed them all—everyone, everyone… everything.
Nobody was left alive, and when all was said and done, so was she.
But not him, he was left alive, left within this void.
He felt nothing, he felt everything.
Yet there had been a voice, Kurama. A giant fox within his head.
How long ago had he disappeared? Dissipated within his seal— What seal?
He forgot, or he couldn't remember. His memories were all a blur.
And he saw nothing but darkness.
Darkness.
Never-ending Darkness.
How long he been he— wait?
What was that? It was a light—a bright, shining light.
Something he had never seen before, something he had never felt before. Heat—this was heat, or was it?
He didn't know, but it was drifting closer and closer.
And then he saw it—no, not it… her.
She was beautiful.
Beauty at its finest, as he felt a warmth just looking at her.
Blue hair, longer than the eye could see. Yet somehow it had been tied, as if knitted together, and braided at each of her sides. As the tendrils of her light blue locks flowed in each direction.
It was parted, but there were a few stray strands that moved along the middle of her face, rolling down her sweet button nose.
Her skin was soft and paler than the whitest snow. And was bare for all the world to see.
She was naked, or at least she would have been had those strange, greenish-navy scales not covered her large and enticing breasts. As well as covering her womanhood from the world, blue markings covered her navel. The scales reached down her arms and legs too, reaching down where none could follow.
Yet the strangest thing about her were her horns. Two, long, twisting horns that reached out from the top of her head. Both green and gold, twisting down in a formation as if she were a butterfly, with a tail that was much the same.
She had pointed ears, too.
But the feature that he had been drawn to the most were her eyes. As he stared at her, pink, glowing, gem-like orbs in surprise.
They seemed... sad? Looking down in a sadness that nobody could ever handle.
Why were they sad?
Empty, heartbroken, as if those rose diamonds had been shattered into pieces.
"Ahhhhhh~!"
Her voice was loud, yet quiet at the same time. It held a softness that was so deep that it reverberated throughout the abyss.
Yet it was sad at the same time.
Like a beautifully written song by the greatest of composers, not even the stars could understand the notes that were played. The emotions that were felt and the messages that were conveyed
Yet he understood.
He realized why she was so sad—it was because… she was alone.
Alone in this vast emptiness that was all around them. Feeling nothing and everything at the same time.
It was hell.
It was purgatory.
A punishment worse than death that none could stand, yet she was forced to suffer for an endless number of eons.
That was loneliness.
That was the void they were in.
She was alone.
… And then she saw him.
Idly, the woman's eyes drifted farther than she had ever intended. And her eyes seemed to light up.
She had always been alone, from the moment her consciousness awoke. All she had ever known was emptiness, darkness, this nothingness. It was all she had ever known.
But, then again… he was much the same.
And as he gazed at her, he felt a strange feeling, one he didn't quite know. His heart quickened, and his mind raced, yet it was blank at the same time.
A warmth filled his chest, and it was like no other. His fingers curled, unable to grasp whatever he was feeling.
Unknown to him, she was feeling it too.
They didn't know who started it first, but eventually, they drifted closer and closer to one another.
Closer and closer, he saw those bright pink eyes light up in joy, in love.
And, slowly but surely, he leaned his head forward, laying a pale hand across her cheek.
Their lips met, they were soft, smooth, and warm at the same time.
He couldn't get enough of her.
... and soon, creation was born.
Let there be light!
He was in love.
It was the only thing he could describe it as.
The strange feelings he felt for Tiamat paled in comparison to what he had felt for anyone else. The friendships and understanding he had with Sasuke and Gaara. The childish crush he had felt with Sakura, and even the blossoming feelings he once held for Hinata.
Even the familial maternal love he'd found from his mother had been nothing compared to what he'd felt from his Tia-Chan.
She saved him.
Saved him from the endless abyss, the nothingness, and the emptiness. The agony, the pain, the insanity—all of it was gone.
She felt the same.
Her songs, her voice, her symphonies—all of them were filled with a new sense of happiness. The songs he'd first heard weren't even comparable to the serenades he heard now.
He devoted himself to her entirely, and surprisingly, she did the same.
They were husband and wife.
Lovers.
Although, sadly, the deep abyss was not the greatest of places, he could express that love. They were in the endless abyss after all.
He couldn't take her out on dates, couldn't take her to dinner, or even to get ramen. He couldn't do any of that, but it didn't matter.
They made do to pass the time. How you might ask…
Eventually they had kids—lots and lots of kids.
Not only that, but from their union came the primordial sea. And from that, the earth and humans were born.
Well… they called themselves humans, and he had no right to deny them that name. They were small, microscopic compared to his and Tiamat's size.
And he'd idly wondered if it was him that had gotten larger or them that had gotten smaller.
They were interesting, to say the least, and he wanted to see how things would play out with them.
Would they destroy themselves? Just like his people had done. Or would they finally gain the peace the Shinobi nations had only started to obtain?
Nonetheless, he didn't want to be the one to pick and choose which one of them lived or died— unless one of them decided to start mass murdering innocents, that is.
But he didn't want them to think he was better than them, no matter the reality in which he was.
He wasn't a god, no matter how much they worshiped him. And it didn't matter what his kids started calling themselves!
That leaned too deep into Madara's and Kaguya's territory for his liking.
But he made do with spending his time with his wife and raising their many children, even if Tia-Chan did most of the work.
She was amazing, after all, and she held a love that was like no other.
A love for her children, and for humans as well, had been what had drawn him to her.
He just had some business to take care of first, and then he would go see her again…
XXX
Elsewhere.
(One of his children's pocket dimensions)
"So, Isshiki-kun? What did you need me for?" Naruto voiced, eager to just go back to his home dimension.
But his son called him out here for reasons he did not know.
"So, Father has arrived, it's time for our plans to begin..." A new voice spoke out as Naruto turned his attention.
Spotting three of his sons floating behind him, as he was standing upon the blank white world that was their pocket dimension.
Each having their own similar features, pale skin, whiter than snow, with hair of the same color, although it had a slight blueish tint to it. A trait they all inherited from their mother. And horns that lay across their heads.
Ironically, they seemed to resemble Kaguya in many aspects. Although, to be fair, so had he.
Gone was his usual golden hair, which had been bleached white from his time in the void. And even his once-tan skin had lightened, although it hadn't become a tone as stark as Tiamat's or even his children's.
But the thing that always remained were his eyes. Warm, ocean-blue cerulean orbs that sparkled with wisdom and compassion. And love for his family, of course.
As his eyes dawned in confusion, spotting a few more people he hadn't expected.
"Kinshiki-kun, Momoshiki-kun, what are you doing here?" He questioned, not understanding for a moment.
His three children were all floating above him.
Isshiki, his eldest child, and easily the most powerful. Possessing a doujutsu he's never seen before, and a skill with it that not many could manage. His appearance was defined, almost wild, yet he held an understanding like no other. As a single long horn wrapped itself along the back of his head, pointing up as it jutted out like a thorn.
Kinshiki, one of his middle children, as one of the physically strongest. He was large, muscled, and not the brightest of his children. Yet he was skilled in his own way, able to construct any weapon he so desired. And, if need be, he possessed a strength capable of shattering the earth itself in two.
Momoshiki, one of his younger children, and his strength was not the same as that of his two elder siblings. If words were to describe him, it would be as if he were royalty incarnate—refined and elegant. He possessed the rinnegan as well, with the same eyes his friend once inherited. Yet his true strength was not in his doujutsu, but within his mind. As he was easily one of the brightest among his children.
They all wore white clothing, similarly to him and similarly to the sage of the six paths.
He loved them, but all he felt at the moment was confusion. Unable to understand what exactly his children were planning, nor why they were in their battle stances, ready to strike.
"Don't you understand, father, that we have decided it's time for us to change things?" Kinshiki spoke up, he was always headstrong in that aspect.
"Did you now?" Naruto raised an eyebrow. "What changes does this new age entail?" He inquired.
As his eldest child then stepped up, "Humans have proven themselves to be inferior, we believe it's in our best interest to lord over them." Isshiki spoke, the most eloquent of them all.
And his youngest continued. "Your way of doing things is wrong, father. We cannot simply keep to ourselves and let these humans live their lives. They kill each other, maim each other, and steal from each other, they are vermin, and they need leaders like us. Gods to guide them to live their lives," Momoshiki continued,
Naruto's eyes softened for just a second. His youngest was always the most thoughtful. And he had always taught his children to value life, no matter who they were.
Yet, at the same time, his eyes sparked with resolve—not that any of his children saw it. "I see... and have you three come to this conclusion together?" Naruto asked.
Kinshiki nodded. "We have father…"
"And not just us, but many of our brothers and sisters as well…" Isshiki corrected.
"And we intend to see this through," Momoshiki stated, as all three of them got ready for their father's next move.
As several other figures appeared floating above him. Tens of his children stood, ready for battle as well.
Seeing this, Naruto's eyes widened. "But what about all your mother and I have taught you! Yes, humans are capable of great atrocities, but they are also capable of even greater goods!" He reasoned, none of his children saw it that way.
"There is no good when it comes to the humans!" Momoshiki shouted. "They are, but insects compared to us, incapable of existing peacefully unless we are there to rule over them as their gods!"
Many of his children agreed, and Naruto could see that.
And as such, he was left with only one option. "Very well then, you leave me no choice…"
Two wind-rasenshurikens formed within his palms, and he let them loose.
... As his children let loose all of their attacks.
Time went on.
Yet her Naruto never returned.
She was angry, she was livid.
But her children were there for her—until they weren't.
They betrayed her.
She hated them, but she loved them.
She wanted to destroy them… she wanted to hold them.
It was from this conflict that new creations came.
Eleven monstrous and mindless beasts formed, not from the primordial sea, that had spawned from Naruto. But something entirely else, yet she loved them all the same.
They all fell, each one of them. One by one, they were defeated by her children, and only she remained.
They wanted to kill her, for reasons she did not know.
That wouldn't do.
She couldn't die, not yet, not until she saw her husband again.
So she battled on, increasing the number of seconds that she could remain. Yet her children didn't agree with that.
In her rage, her appearance had changed; her mouth grew exponentially larger, with fangs strong enough to pierce the heavens. Her face was more angular, bestial even, as several giant wings sprouted from her back. Numerous spines run along them as well.
It was a poor sight, as she reduced herself to standing on all fours like a common beast, fighting against her family, her children.
She felt a large number of rods pierce into her legs, as a pain-filled roar left her maw. "Aghhhhh!"
Her children took advantage of this, many of whom used this moment to construct a large golem capable of holding her in place. As they all floated around her, ducking and weaving across the sky, so she could not hit them. And no matter how much she struggled, she could not break free.
She tried to kick free, but it was to no avail. She tried to move her other feet, but they were being held in place.
Large weapons piercing her limbs, courtesy of Kinshiki.
And that's when she saw it—or rather, who was in front of her.
It was Isshiki.
Isshiki, her eldest child, floating above her. His arm stretched upward, as a large number of both chakra rods and large cubes of the same material floated over her.
And even in her crazed state, Tiamat realized that if that hit her, she would surely perish.
So she screamed out, "Rawrrrrrrrr!!!"
Thrashing upon her limbs that wouldn't move, moving her wings that were pinned down.
She was trapped, unable to move, as her eldest son floated over her.
And then he spoke, "I'm sorry, mother, but this is necessary for our plans, you must go…" He spoke, his voice merciless.
And it was only then that the man clenched his outstretched fist, hundreds of objects falling towards her.
Tiamat realized this was the end.
And that's when it happened. It was small, unnoticeable to most, but still there. It was enough…
A lone tear fell from the beast's eye, seeing her beloved child strike her own.
"Enough!" A voice shouted, and that's when they felt it.
Power.
Power like no other, and it was incomparable to even that of their own.
Not only that, but their entire world was engulfed in an outer-worldly light.
And when it dissipated, none of Isshiki's rods or cubes, nor the massive golem or the weapons that pierced her remained.
As all of her children's eyes widened.
"I-Impossible…" Kinshiki spoke, unable to comprehend what was happening.
"But that's…" Isshiki realized.
Momoshiki voiced what they were seeing. "F-father?!"
And he was right, as floating right above them, like a harbinger of death, was their father before them in all his glory. Not a scratch across his skin.
Their combined attack had failed.
"That's right! And don't you 'father' me!" Naruto shouted, floating above all of them in his full might.
"But that's impossible; we killed you!" Kinshiki spoke in disbelief.
Naruto snorted, his children were far too young to even be able to entertain the thought within their minds. "Did you, or is that what I wanted you to believe?" He questioned.
"But why…?" Momoshiki raised the question.
"Why what?" Their father raised an eyebrow.
But it was Isshiki who finished the unasked question, "Why did you fake your death! And why did you allow us to reign over heaven in your stead?!" He asked aloud, unable to comprehend that his father was actually alive.
As Naruto crossed his arms, he said, "Simple, really. I wanted to see what you kids would do without me." He said as if it were the most obvious thing imaginable.
He wanted to see if the next generation would be able to carry on without him. Needless to say he was disappointed.
Right before their very eyes their father gained a dark aura. "And I have to say I'm angry! I mean! You did the one thing, the one thing! That I wouldn't approve of, and that makes me livid!" Naruto shouted in rage.
"A-a-and what was that?" Momoshiki stuttered out, unable to handle his father's growing pressure. Many of his siblings felt the same.
A lone finger pointed towards the face of the beast before them. "You made your mother cry!" He shouted.
As all of their eyes turned to view upon their mother, spotting the stray tear that still fell across her face.
... It was only then that they realized they had messed up.
Turning their attention back to their father, they noticed something different—a doujutsu they had never seen before.
Darkened sclera, with glowing light blue pupiless eyes with a flower design stared back at them.
This was their father's signature ability—the pinnacle of power that none of them had ever seen before.
And, as Naruto cracked his knuckles. Many of them felt a primal fear within their very bones. Yet they were unable to move, petrified by the sight of their father's very presence.
"Alright! Who's first for the punishment! I think a few millennia as a mortal sounds fitting," he announced.
Many of them passed out, unable to take their father's wrath any longer.
XXX
Punishment had been dealt out, and it was only then that he turned his attention to his wife, seeing the expression on her face.
Yet she stood there, petrified, and unable to move, just as the children that had witnessed his power.
She was unmoving for several seconds.
But that's when it happened…
Tears.
Tears started to form in her eyes, as her body was left trembling.
And, subsequently, her appearance began to change, reverting from her beastly appearance to the beauty he knew her to be.
"Naaaahhhhh~!" Tiamat sounded, crashing into his chest.
As he felt an immense warmth across his body, feeling his wife's tears spread across his clothing.
"Ahhhhh~!" She sobbed, unable to comprehend her husband's appearance.
And she continued like that, sobbing and sobbing until she could not cry any longer. It was only then that she looked at him, and he saw her red, puffy pink eyes that stared at him with nothing but love and joy.
"I know, Tia-Chan, I'm here," he soothes, rubbing along his wife's back. As he used his other hand to run it along her long blue locks; oh, how he loved to do that.
"Aaaaahhh~" Tiamat wailed.
"I'm here," Naruto assured, as his wife continued to clutch onto him for a lifeline, worried he would go away.
Until she finally sighed into his embrace. "Ah~" she voiced.
"I know, I owe you, but I wanted to see how our children would react, we can't coddle them forever," he reasoned.
It was a difficult choice to make, one he had long thought about, but he felt what he did was the right decision to make. His only problem with it was leaving his wife all alone, he never wanted to see tears fall from those beautiful pink eyes ever again.
"Ah~?" Tiamat inquired.
"It's okay, we'll teach them, we'll just have to beat in those thick skulls of their's," Naruto told her.
"Ahhhhahhh!" His wife laughed, and he chuckled as well.
Before a new thought came into her mind, a mischievous smirk crossed her soft lips.
"Oh, what's that look for?" Naruto questioned, before a kiss met his lips. A long, passionate kiss that sent his heart racing.
Before, she leaned back, but not enough so that she was still leaning over him. As he felt her bountiful breasts push up against his chest, not that he minded.
"Ahh~" she tilted her head, as a blush formed across her husband's face.
"What? Now, Tia-Chan, I know you want more kids, but we can't do that now. We—" Naruto tried to say, but he was interrupted.
"Ahh~" his wife sang.
"I know, but—" he tried to say.
"Ahh~"
Naruto sighed, unable to keep up with his wife's antics. "Okay. Fine…"
"Ahhhhh~" Tiamat sung joyously, as Naruto's lips graced her own.
He loved her, after all.
And he would do anything for her.
The End.
An: Tiamat is great.
And hopefully this will prove to be a decent catalyst whenever her alter-ego form comes to NA in a few years.
Honestly this has been a story I had in the back of my mind for a while, but a reviewer (AssassinCon I believe his name was) left a review about a Tiamat fic and that got my mind churning.
So I do end up writing some of your ideas if they peak my interest. Honestly at the moment I am kind of tempted to write an Anastasia fic, but I don't really got any ideas.
Oh, and I ended up typing it all in one sitting, and by the end it was 5 O'clock at night.
I think I did pretty good, (regardless of what Tendoo thinks).
Isshiki and the other otsutsuki were used as placeholders since I'm too lazy to look up actual mesopotamian mythology. So I thought why not just use them?
This Naruto might be ironically one of the most powerful ones I've written, and it's heavily implied that he has a supped up version of tenseigan. Why? Because.
Anyways, I do have another idea for a Tiamat fic, but it might be a bit before I actually end up typing that out.
Anyways, next update should be on dark storms, so if you want to see a Naruto vs Gilgamesh fight go check that out when it drops.
Not really any new things on FGO.
Please leave me lots and lots of NICE reviews.
