Note: Hey, everyone…! Hope you're all doing well. I knew of Class of the Titans for a little while, though I'm finally all into the fandom, and here I am. I tried to figure out how to introduce my OC as if it were an episode of the show, but I kept on getting more frustrated, so yeah. Hopefully, all the chapters will make sense to appear like a proper novel.

Enjoy! Xoxo.

The Rider

Chapter One

New School

New school, new surroundings, and it was still going to take time getting used to.

Chiron and the Gods tried their best to console Belle when she moved all the way from Alberta, Canada to come to Olympus High School. She was glad for their help, but nothing exactly relaxed her in the new city she was in.

She made some tea, wrapped her horse blanket around her, went to the rec room and turned on the TV. In her hand was her DVD of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'.

Fitting, since she shared the name with the iconic Disney Princess.

More descendants of Greek heroes were popping up, and Belle happened to be one of them.

Thanks to the Gods at Olympus High School, she learnt that she was the descendant of Bellerophon, the tamer of Pegasus. It sort of made sense, seeing as how on her father's side, there was some Greek ancestry. They owned a horse farm in the rural area of the Canadian Rockies. Already she missed her parents, younger sister Antonia, and horse Duffy.

As the film progressed on the TV, she was glad she decided to watch 'Beauty and the Beast'. Since her parents saw that she had the same name as 'Belle' when she was little, she'd enjoyed it more, and Belle sure did. Her father would read her the storybook of 'Beauty and the Beast' at night before she went to bed.

Disney Princess Belle was brave, knowledgeable, kind. Qualities she hoped she had one day as well, though as for the brave part, she could never be that bold. Though in the new school she was in, she was going to have to if she ever wanted to pick up a sword and fight.

Which reminded her, she also had to live up to the name of Bellerophon.

What if she disappointed him?

"Can't sleep?"

Turning her head, she saw that it was Neil, descendant of Narcissus.

Belle smiled.

"Just trying to do something to relax." She nodded, chuckling.

Was the volume too loud? Hopefully, no one else was awake on her account. Neil sat himself on the other couch.

Theresa and Atlanta warned Belle that Neil could be hard to get along with. All the rest of the original seven were used to him by now, though he still had a long way to go in being considerate to others. As the name Narcissus said, Neil could get self-centred at times. His ancestor practically invented narcissism.

Though in a training class, Belle almost got hit by a rock slide, and Neil got her out of the way. If he didn't step in, she'd be lying in bed right now. That had to mean there was some good in him right?

Like how Disney Belle saw the good in Beast.

"Thanks again, for saving me from the rock slide in class," she began. "I'd be toast if it weren't for you."

"Not a problem," nodded Neil. "I mean, well, I was the one closest to you in the field, so yeah… It's more Herry or Jason's field to be more aggressive, though I was the only one around."

When she first met Neil, he was overly conceited and pompous. Maybe beneath all the arrogance, there was some good in him. Maybe he wasn't all that bad.

"So, 'Beauty and the Beast'," began Neil. "Guess you and the princess have a few things in common, huh?"

They both chuckled.

"Dad would read the story to us at night when we were little before bed," began Belle. "Been my favourite fairytale ever since."

"Miss home, huh?" Neil asked.

She looked at him and nodded. "I do."

"The first few weeks are tough, but I know you'll pull through," said Neil. "Atlanta came all the way from the Northwest Territories, but we're all as tight as ever. And the Gods are also glad you're here. Bellerophon was a tamer of Pegasus after all."

Who knew the people here at Olympus High were so welcoming. Hera also mentioned to Belle that Bellerophon was a son of Poseidon. Theresa's ancestor, Theseus was also his son as well. The girls joked that it made them distant cousins. It was like she had family here at this school from the start. Also counting all the Olympian Gods.

Belle smiled. "Thanks…"

"Well," Neil got up from the couch. "I'm off to bed. See you in the morning."

She nodded as he left the room.

After all she heard about Neil, who knew that she could have found a friend in him.
