After a fight with her father Weiss sends a letter to a random address, hoping for a stranger to vent to. Jaune one day receives a letter from an unknown address, venting about their father, Jaune sends one back, companionship ensues.

Adam is moved by one thing: duty. That's why when Blake tries to leave the Fang, he follows her; it's his duty to protect her. At a young age, Jaune Arc promised to marry Arslan Altan, but his family ended up having to move away.
