Chapter 1 Sin Rising

There was a massive and populated city called Silverburg. It was a rich and prosperous city that tragedy was fixing to strike by an ancient force.
A superstore was having a huge sale on it's merchandise and as people raced into the building they all felt a great sense of greed and began to fight each other to obtain the latest products. As people exited the store with shopping carts full a few nearby people passing by became envious of them and attacked the shoppers to steal their goods.
At an all you can eat buffet people were grossly engorging on large amounts of food and wine.
At a construction company that was having a massive amount of layoffs the out of work employees began to violently riot and cause a great amount of property damage forcing the police to be summoned in to deal with them.
People around the city began to feel strong sexual urges and began to go live out their sexual fantasies. Many people were found killed in bizarre outfits and positions.
City workers of many varieties suddenly lost the urge and will to work causing the city to fall into chaos.
The head of the city's biggest real estate company in the city took advantage of the chaos and began buying more property making his company even bigger and more powerful.
To any normal person these events wouldn't seem too out of the ordinary and would be chalked up as the worst of human nature. Those observers would partially be right, though there was an outside force making the citizens act this way and taking advantage of the humans. This force was ancient and had been defeated by the Demon Knight Sparda, but now it was in the process of reforming and rising up to reclaim the world.
