A/N: Felt like doing my take on the 'Rewriting The Loud House' meta with a spin. In that it's Lisacoln centric and has Hypno/Mind Control elements. This is more of a writing exercise for me to do in-between updates of my bigger projects. Each chapter will be around 1,000 words. If any of you have seen this awhile ago, that it because I took this down to revise it. This story is now rated M.
Bathroom Break!
A well known residence in Royal Woods sits on 1216 Franklin Avenue. The Loud House. Up on the second floor is a pass-through alley closet space that connects two bedrooms together. It was formerly a normal closet before it was renovated last summer. The space was cozy. Soft Christmas lights were strewn along the top of the wall. The floor was buried beneath layers of pillows and blankets.
As a result of the limited space, there wasn't much that could be adorned on the walls, other than posters. Which is exactly what covers most of it. From superheroes to sci-fi franchises. In both of the entryways were beaded curtains. A rather vintage choice that was suggested by the matriarch of the family that lived in the household.
The matriarch is Rita Loud. Mother of eleven darling children. It was two of said children that the space was made for. Lincoln and Lisa. Whose lives became rather extraordinary a year prior. On an unplanned detour from home to school. They climbed over a seemingly ordinary stone wall. A wall that Lisa was certain at the time to have never seen.
Hand in hand, the brother and sister venture into the woods. Believing civilization to be on the other side. After a while, they realized the gnarled roots of the olden trees kept stretching forward.
Neither realized at the time that they had entered an impossible place. One defined by mystery and fantasy. It would be many years before they found their way back to the world of man. To their surprise and profound relief they found that not a minute had passed in this world since they climbed over the wall.
The first thing they did was head to Lisa's bunker to cover up the years on their flesh. It didn't take long for Lisa to invent a device to change them back into the age that the world knew them as.
They've never told anyone of the stories they forged over that woodward wall. For they lived it together. Thus it shall remain between the two of them.
Over the last few months, the two have settled back into their once normal lives. In the present they were both bundled up under a blanket. A wide chair pillow supported them as they watched a movie on their laptop. The device was resting on a cooling pad on Lincoln's lap.
The ending credits to Return of the Jedi rolled across the screen. Concluding their semi-binge of the original trilogy. It had been a wonderful experience for the siblings.
Lisa was the picture of contentment. Resting on her big brother's side with his arm snugly draped over her belly. She could have drifted off to sleep if it weren't for one annoying fact. The young genius gave a soft sigh. "I need to go to the bathroom."
Her brother shut down the laptop before closing it. "I need to do business too. We drank quite a bit of pop," Lincoln said. In the cup holders that came with the chair pillow, which now held empty soda bottles. There was also a nearby small bin for trash such as candy wrappers.
The young genius didn't want to leave such a warm, pleasant spot. Alas she can't stay here forever. She removed the layers of blankets. "You can go to the bathroom first, dear brother. As I've done with the rest of my body. I strengthened my detrusor urinae muscle so that I could hold off from really needing to go."
She gave a pleased sound when her brother ran his hair through her brown locks. "I went last time, Lise. I like it to be your turn."
"Very well." Lisa conceded to her big brother. Knowing that taking turns was beneficial to a healthy relationship between them.
Sounds from elsewhere in the house drew Lisa's attention. "It would appear our sisters are being rambunctious as always. I'll never be sorry for being glad I made these bracelets for the both of us." She eyed the metallic bracelet around her right wrist. A similar one was around Lincoln's wrist as well.
A grin grew on Lincoln's face. A year ago, weeks before they ventured beyond that unordinary wall, he was uncertain when his little sister made the bracelets. Over time he came to really enjoy the benefits it brought to the two of them. For they weren't ordinary bracelets. No, they were simply a more compact version of Lisa's super-subliminal susceptibility device. Bestowing them with the power to mesmerize other people.
In spite of what most children might do at the time. They have not and will not turn their siblings into servants 24/7. Nor will they turn them into mindless drones. If Lincoln had wanted to interact with robot versions of his sisters, he would go play with the ones that Lisa gifted him last Christmas.
…Disregard that last part.
Point being, their personalities aren't drastically altered by the bracelets. Lincoln loved his sisters. Same with Lisa. Despite what they're doing is improper. They care about them.
The two siblings left the space. Heading through the door into Lincoln's room. Not surprised to see the chaos before them. Lisa peered down the hallway between all their moving sisters. "The door is open. I don't detect any body language from any of our sisters that they might be heading to the bathroom. Of course, by the law of probability there's always a chance my estimate can be proven incorrect."
Lincoln nodded in agreement. "We should get moving then."
The two followed each other through the storm. All was calm in the first stretch. Luna was close to Lincoln's room. When they walked by, she ruffled Lincoln's hair with a smile before continuing to strum her guitar. Lucy emerged from her room to ask if she could read them a poem.
Lincoln responded with a smile, "Sure, we're heading to the bathroom and Lisa is taking it first. I can hear it when I wait." That put a smile on Lucy's face before she began to shadow them.
After that, that was when they began coming across obstacles. Lisa's bracelet lit up, indicating her usage of the device to redirect Luan's and Lola's attention away from Lincoln. They came across Leni who was having trouble shutting off the vacuum cleaner. Lisa shook her head before shutting it off for her.
Just as Lisa stepped over the threshold into the bathroom. The slim chance actually occurred in the form of their oldest sibling blocking her off. "Sorry, I'm going to-"
"Wait here being our brother's adoring pet." Lisa's bracelet shimmered with light as she bluntly finished Lori's sentence with a command.
Lori blinked before her expression lit up with a smile. Getting onto her hands and knees she happily came over to her brother. Nuzzling him affectionately.
Lincoln watches Lisa close the door behind her before looking over his very cute big sister. "Who's my precious big sister?" he asks.
"Woof! I am!"
Lincoln caresses her cheek. "Yes you are!"
Lucy, who was made to not find it strange whenever Lincoln and Lisa commanded one of them, the same as everyone else, figured it was time to recite her poem.
It involved water. Grimaced, he looked over at her. His bracelet lit up with orange light. "Come pet Lori instead, Lucy."
His Gothic sister ceased to read the paper in her hands. "As you decree, Lincoln." She came over to them. With her brother running his hand through Lori's hair, Lucy rubbed Lori's back. Their big sister was very pleased with all the affection she was getting.
'Just another day in the Loud House.' Lincoln thought to himself.
