3. Chapter 3

Hey everyone, just letting you all know that there will be spoilers here, as I do not know how many have played the game or reached to the point of where the story starts explaining things about the other twin. So figured to let you all know ahead of time. All the while introducing more girls who will become part of the harem, as only certain ones as I must remind you all. Chapter 3: The Abyss appears, Stormterror attacks!

The test was going great as after exiting the first Four wind temple domain with Amber, and her becoming Aether companion lover and even felt a surge of power flowing through him. The two went ahead and met up with Kaeya, after of course they got done with Lisa's domain and both Aether and Amber- well mostly Amber. Who scolded and yelled at Lisa with quite the red face, saying things how she and Sucrose will pay for making her drink something like that! Though Amber had to lean back while blinking her eyes. As Lisa poked her breasts and explained to the young woman how, Lisa just offered the drink and vaguely said how she doesn't know what the side effects will be. Amber is the one who foolishly accepted it and said she didn't care about the effects. Having the brown hair girl chuckling sheepishly and raising both hands up in defense.

This had Aether laughing in the background and couldn't help but nod his head. Amber's personality does give off the vibe, how she is very kind and will try out a friend or partner's concoction without worrying about the side-effects. Once that was said and done, along with exiting out of the domain together- leaving Lisa behind as she was currently…busy with some personal things. The two had gone and met up with Kaeya next, for the third and final of the Four wind domains. "Okay, so from what Jean told you all- or what Kaeya informants had found. That these wind domains are a semi-source of Devallin powers?" Aether asked as he and Amber were running through the fields and heading further south-east to where Kaeya was waiting for them.

"Yeah," Amber nodded her head and grabs her bow- as she began firing some charged shots and arrows to some of the Hilichurls that were coming their way, while Aether grabs his sword and began leaping into the air- slashing his sword downward on couple of Samulchurls and then spinning forward and cutting a big version of the Hilichurls. "If we can lower the power it summons from these Domains, we could lessen the damages for Mondstadt." Amber said and continued firing more arrows and then grabbed something from her bag, then tossed it across the field and summoned what looked to be a dancing doll like object that began dancing and wiggling about in place. This had Aether after finishing off another Hilichurl, blinked his eyes and stared at the odd doll.

Then steps back with wide eyes when after it distracted the creatures and then attacked the doll. Only for it to explode and send them flying across the field and leaving behind some flames on the grass, having Aether to continue blinking his eyes as Amber approaches him and clapped her hands up and down. "Heh that was Baron Bunny, a creation I made to help me in the fields and commissions. I infused it with my Pyro vision so that when it takes enough hits, or finishes dancing it blows up." She then clapped her hands together. "Cool huh?"

Aether chuckled lightly and nodded while rubbing his chin, "Clever too= if it works?" Then he saw her waving her hands in a 50-50 fashion. "Okay, so it doesn't always work and distract the creatures." Then saw Amber looking at the result and then looking at him. "By the way, how did you become a Knight of Mondstadt?"

"Oh," Then sticks her tongue out and grabs another item from her bag and pulls it out. "This book honestly!" She giggled and handed Aether the what…could be described as a Children's book? "It gave me the courage and inspiration to become Knight of Mondstadt! That I always cherish it and keep it with me all times, to remind me and never lose my way."

Aether hummed and blinked his eyes as he opened it up and the two continued their way- thankfully there weren't many Hillichurls around to bother them or attack them. So he was able to go through the book without much trouble, seeing and now understanding why it is this Children's book that inspired Amber to become a Knight. The message was good and the meaning behind it is quite inspiring too- but something tells him this isn't exactly the true way of the knights he thought. But he wouldn't question it, considering that everyone has different ways of being inspired. Aether laughed when he got to the final chapter and page, while closing it and handing it to Amber. Who happily took it and placed it back in her bag, then both looked up and saw Kaeya inspecting and looking over the entrance of the domain. Then turned around letting out a low hum and smiled.

"I see you two haven't had much trouble…err?" Kaeya then blinked his eyes and asked. "Where's Lisa?" Which had Aether lightly sweat dropping and taking two steps away from Amber, who looked quite miserable and pouting and then crossed her arms, humming and looking upwards. "I take it…she upset you?"

"Honestly, I would rather not talk about Lisa right now. I am mad at her and she deserves everything she's getting back in the domain." Amber growls out and turns her back on Kaeya. Who blinked his eyes a couple of times, while then looking at Aether who just sighs and mouthed out slimes. Making Kaeya let out a low ah and even began laughing at Amber's child-like behavior. "Anyway, we managed to disable the second power of the second rune powers giving Devallin's wind powers." Amber began saying while letting out a low breath of air. "How about you, is this the last one to try and seal?"

"Yeah," Kaeya then turned serious. "But I must warn the two of you, we might be in slight danger once we enter this domain. I can sense…foreboding presence inside." He informed Amber and Aether to harden their look. Making Kaeya to chuckle, "Seems like you two are prepared then. Alright, once we step inside we won't know what we will be facing." Then I looked at Amber. "Amber, you provide range support in the back, use Baron Bunny to distract any opposing threats."

"Roger that!"

"Soon to be Honorary knight- You will be in the middle, your speed and agility you will be able to go in and out of combat quite easily- taking care of any threats in our blind spot. And," Then raised an open hand. "With the Anemo God's powers, you should be able to blow the enemy back as well." Then placed the hand onto his own chin. "How good is it by the way?"

"Wind blade seems to suck enemies in, then blast them away." Aether began explaining while he smiled. "While the tornado I can make, carries them away and injures them. So, in a sense it's good for crowd control. And suppressing enemy attacks."

"I can definitely vouch for that!" Amber said with a giggle. "I saw it in action, it's a very amazing skill. But the tornado seems to have a limit though?" She hummed out, which Aether nodded and said it might only last about a good five seconds before disappearing. "But also thanks to Lisa teaching Aether about Elemental reactions. His wind blade and Tornado are also able to absorb other elements."

"I see, that is very good to hear. Anemo is an element that can adapt into mostly all elements it reacts to. As well combining them together as well," Kaeya then grinned. "Pyro and Cryo will definitely have a great elemental resonance with Anemo…" then lower both arms and face the Domain. "Alright, I believe we chatted long enough, let's head inside and seal the last core to Devallin's powers." Thus the three of them walked forward as the doors opened up and revealed a portal for the domain. However, right before Aether entered inside- he paused for a moment and hummed, while looking behind him and scanned the area around them. Feeling something was a little off?

"Something wrong?" Amber asked before stepping inside and saw Aether staring down the road they've taken and seemed transfixed on a certain spot. Making her become worried as she also for unknown reason, felt an odd presence too. But unable to see it with her eyes, "Somebody there?" She asked and stepped close to the traveler who hummed. The two continued looking in the direction but then felt the presence disappearing.

"May have been an animal looking at us or was curious." Aether figured to say, considering he wasn't sure if it was a human or someone watching them after all. All he and Amber know is that they felt what could be powerful Pyro energy in the spot, but now it's gone. "Well whoever it was they're gone…I don't think we have to worry." Aether said and turned and the two grunted out as he wasn't aware how close Amber was and bopped foreheads with her. Staggering back and Amber doing the same, while quickly rubbing their foreheads. "They also had a very strong Pyro element." Aether groaned out and laughed as Amber nodded with a wincing eye.

"Eh, long they're not here to cause harm or trouble. I don't think we should worry too much." Then grinned. "Come on, and if they do follow us. We can let Kaeya know and get the jump on the person!" She then excitedly grabbed Aether's arm and pulled him into the portal and entered inside the domain. As their mysterious watcher who was behind a portal, wearing quite the dark and black regal looking outfit with wild spiky hair, raised an arm outward and heard a hawk crying out and softly flying down and landing on the man's arm.

Looking at him and then smiling softly when he stroked the bird's chin, saying. "Good job- and thank you for letting me know." The man said while sighing. "Not sure who the blonde is, but seeing him with the knights. Give me reason that he can be trusted somewhat- but I do pray Kaeya knows what he is doing…" then gritted his teeth. "Considering they are waiting in ambush. I should follow them just in case they get overwhelmed." The red-haired man said, then lifted his arm upwards to make the hawk fly off into the sky, and then started walking towards the Domain everyone went into and entered.

Inside the domain and like the man feared, Amber, Aether and Kaeya were met with forces of the Abyss inside the domain. The trio were thankfully and luckily only facing off against Hilichurls and Big versions of them. Fire looking arrows pummel and struck the big version of the churls, as Aether can be seen running close to them and then swing around to extending his right arm and activated his Wind Blade technique, causing a swirl effect to happen with Anemo and Pyro on the creature and finishing it off with a loud bang!

Kaeya ran past Aether and leapt into the air, while extending his sword upward and thrust it forward towards three Hilichurls, shooting blasts of Cryo energy towards them, causing the trio to grunt out and stagger backwards. Having snow dripping off from them, as Kaeya landed on the floor- he went and slashed across the first one's head off, then darted towards the second one, doing a leg sweep and slashing upright- then followed up with a leaping slash towards the last one and slashing them in the middle.

Amber took aim and closed one eye and fired off multiple pyro arrows towards a couple more hilichurls that were in the distance. Hitting them square in the head and kept moving forward, firing one after another and then stopping briefly- as Aether went and fired off his Cyclone technique and finished them off. "Phew…" Amber huffed out while whipping her forehead. "Man, good thing Kaeya- you told us about the Abyss might be here." She said and approached Kaeya and looked at him. "So, your suspicion might be right about them being behind Devallin?" She asked, as Aether put away his sword and turned sideways to face the two of them.

Kaeya hummed after placing his sword away. "It's very likely especially considering how many Hilichurl are here and protecting the Anemo seals that give Devallin's enhanced powers. No doubt about it, that the Abyss might be behind this 100%." Kaeya said and walked and approached Aether alongside Amber, as the blonde traveler began walking forward too as they got deeper into the domain. Being very careful of the traps and contraptions that awaited them. "But why the Abyss are going after Devallin is the question however…I still don't know how or why they want Devallin…but do have some suspicions." Kaeya said and they went to an area with a long bridge that had flamethrowers shooting out from devices and machines that would turn and go upside down, freeing up the path.

Aether hummed and crossed his arms, going over those purple runes that were placed on Devallin…but that can't be right though? As it just seemed to be using it to either control or corrupt the dragon. But the reasoning behind it is the question, why are they going after the dragon and causing harm to Mlondstadt? "Maybe…to try and get Barbatos to show up?" Aether thought over it. "Or in this case Venti? But…why would they want Venti to show up and reveal himself to the Abyss? IT doesn't make much sense…" Aether thought and lifted his head, when he heard Amber calling out. Seeing she and Kaeya were on the other side of the bridge, making him immediately catch up and get past the rotating flamethrowers devices.

Once he got across the bridge and met up with Amber and Kaeya they continued trucking forward and entering deeper into the domain. Aether then spoke up, "Do you think the Abyss and…well," then opened a hand. "This is a thought," and lifted a finger. "They could be after Venti?" Then spin his finger. "Because besides wanting to control Devallin, I doubt that Devallin is the main goal. But could it be they are trying to reach or have Venti expose himself to them and find a way to attack?"

Kaeya thought over it and nodded his head, "that could be a possibility. But why would they want the wind God to appear in the first place. So, we will chalk that theory as speculation for now."

"Hmm," Amber hummed out as they mention Venti as well being caught up in speed of Venti being a reincarnation or form of Barbatos their Wind Archon. It came as a surprise for her when she learned of it, but immediately connected the dots of why he would be around Devallin and such. "If they are going after Venti, by using Devallin. Are…they possibly hoping to kill Venti or do something even worse, like having control over him too?" Amber suggested as they were getting to a more open slash arena like shape room.

"That is another good theory as well," Kaeya laughed. "You two seem to be on the same wavelength of thinking here." The man then chuckled. "But very good arguments, but for now we should focus on the task at hand and try sealing half of Devallin's powers." He said and then saw Aether nodding his head and figure out why they're doing this.

"So this way, the knights don't have to be on the defensive all the time. And figure out what is wrong with him, instead of having to constantly repair the damages in town?" He asked, having Kaeya laughing and clapping his hands. "That's good and all but…" then stops when they reach the center of the room. "How will you be able to enter Stormterror's homeland with that giant wind barrier?"

"Ah," Kaeya smiled and lifted three fingers. "That's where the seals come into play. You see- yes they may be connected to Devallin's strength and powers. But it is also what keeps that barrier up and prevents people from entering Devallins domain." He informed and started approaching close to the third seal orb of the domain. "Granted, we're only taking three of them, and saving the last one for later. But Jean wants to be sure that what we're doing does help lessen Devallin's strength and hopefully make things easier for us."

Amber nodded and smiled at Aether, "In other words when we do reach his domain. We won't have to worry about being overwhelmed or injured badly by its wind powers." Then opened a hand, "not only that but if we can lessen the Anemo strength from Devallin." then smiled.

As Aether smiled, "Then we won't have to worry too much about him constantly using Anemo powers on us while we try to release him from those ruins." He said and then both he and Amber looked forward and saw Kaeya sealing up the third anemo orb and everything powered down inside the domain, with the exit portal appearing before them.

Kaeya then turned to them and smiled, "Alright then that should be it for this should take awhile for everything to die down." His eyes then shifted to the right and felt a presence inside the domain and sighs, "but seems like getting you guys out of here isn't going to be easy." He stated having Amber and Aether hummed, they too sensed something off here as Amber goes spinning around firing off her fire arrows towards a corner nearly hitting an abyss mage- who quickly summoned their Cryo shield, despite having it take a good amount of damage.

"Heh, seems like your senses are spot on as ever Kaeya of the knights." Came the voice of the Abyss mage, and then more began appearing in each corner of each element of the domain. Making Amber sweat dropped seeing one of them is a Pyro element. "But it's too late to escape now as we know all your elements of the knights." Chuckled the Cryo mage as the two Pyro mages activated their shields and cackled at the trio. "It was foolish of you to enter this domain, we knew the idiot knights will try and lower the barrier and powers of Devallin- we just had to find a way to control that stupid dragon for a while, to have you all take actions. And now that there's only one seal left- we don't have to worry about wasting our resources to lower the barrier."

"So that was your plan huh?" Kaeya began saying as Aether and Amber stood close to him, looking at him. "You were going to have us go lowering the barrier, so you abyss villains will have access inside Stormterror's territory and find a way to fully control him and have him wreck havoc huh?" Kaeya then laughed and clapped his hands. "Marvelous planned, most intriguing coming from creatures such as yourselves." Then raised a hand to grab his own chin. "But tell me…how will you be able to lower the last seal, if you cannot touch it?"

Aether raised a confused brow and looked at Amber who widened. "That's right! Because of their presence and where they come from, they are unable to touch or effect the Anemo orbs." Then growled. "So by having us do…wait?" Then blinked her eyes. "How will you guys even get the last Anemo orb?" She questioned and had Aether blinking his eyes and staring back at the Abyss mages that surrounded them, making them growl lightly and chuckled.

"Simple, but we won't be telling you idiots anytime soon. Now," Then the three mages went and raised their wands and began chanting out some spells, with some semulichurls coming out now and swaying their staffs. "Time to say goodbye to the Knights of Mondstaft!" The one exclaimed and all of them began charging their magic skill and readying them up for a powerful blast.

"Well I wouldn't say that." Kaeya chuckled as they all heard what sounded like footsteps running towards them, followed by the sound of a weapon clashing against the floor. The mages released their magic and fired them straight towards the trio- as Amber and Aether got ready to shield themselves or protect themselves, only to widen their eyes and then shield them when a roaring sound of a hawk could be heard in the distance with intense heat! Then curling about into the air and spinning around Amber, Aether and Kaeya- absorbing and taking the magic attacks that struck it- to then soaring straight towards the cryo mage, who let out a scream and flew backwards when its ice shield broke and sent it flying!

Only to then feel its head being grabbed by a person, as the red-haired man spun around and threw the abyss mage into the air, "Amber!" The man shouted, having the girl grab her bow and then look at the mage. Then quickly raised it up and began rapidly firing her arrows at the mage, pelting it with her arrows and watching it disappear and vanish from taking too much damage.

"Traveler, let's go!" Kaeya shouted and began running towards the Pyro mages, with Aether turning and running towards the Samulchurls that squealed out as he reached the one on the right and began slashing towards it,then blasting it towards the wall with his wind blade. He then quickly threw his sword towards the other one who tried running, nicking it on the right arm and then began squealing when the Cyclone formed on top of it and had it get sliced and diced by the cyclone!

While with Kaeya, the new comer came and assisted him when the man went and summoned Icicle spikes swirling around him and fired them off towards the Pyro mages barriers, that broke soon as the new comer came in and began slashing and swinging his large claymore at them, slicing the first Pyro mage in half, while he goes and leaping slash towards the next one. But missed at the last instant, when the mage quickly hovered away but yelled out in pain when Cryo energy clashed and crashed into it and froze it in place- to then shattering when the new comer went and used his skill, firing off his Pyro hawk at it and destroyed it.

Things settled down after they were defeated and completely disappeared as everyone took a moment to breathe and then exhaled out. Amber then smiled and ran over towards the red-haired man, "Diluc! Awesome timing as always, you here to check on the abyss movements?" She asked and saw the man summoned his sword away and turned to face them with a light grunt but smiled.

"Yeah- when Kaeya here told me about suspicious activities around the Anemo orbs. I began deducting private investigations around the area. I took notice of Hilichurls and Samulchils for some reason entering inside of them, alongside some slimes and such." Diluc then took a breath and looked towards Aether who approached them. "Then I saw him being with you guys and got worried- as I don't recall seeing them. But seeing how calm you and Kaeya were around him…I figured introduction might be in order." He then looked at Kaeya who laughed. "Especially someone here who could've told me, there was someone working with the knights."

"Are you still sore about what happened to the knights?" Kaeya then shook his head and approached next to Diluc, and pointed to Aether for the tall man. "Anyway, you are right. Introductions are in order." Then chuckled, "This here is Aether- he comes from afar and arrived here with his twin sister. Who is currently missing right now and is out searching for her."Currently right now, is helping us out with the Devallin situation after seeing the dragon out in the forest." Kaeya said and laughed when Diluc widened his eyes and looked at Aether.

Amber then giggled and shook Aether happily, "He also saw Venti trying to help too- and since then and guessing he's been speaking to Venti somehow or Barbatos." Then grinned at Diluc. "He was trusted to help us out with the situation and is glad to work with us, to figure out what the purple runes that's on Devallin right now." Then blushed. "And he's wicked good at combat too!"

Aether chuckled and looked at Diluc, "Venti is currently looking into it right now. Telling me to help everyone else first as he investigates, then will appear for us and make a plan of action when reuniting with us." He informed and saw Diluc nodding and even chuckled. "But when that is, I am not sure- but currently and with how the Abyss appeared." Then smiled when Diluc crossed his arms and finished for him.

"Gave away their reasoning for controlling Devallin, got it." Then hummed. "But we don't know why." Then look at Kaeya who smiled and said.

"We have a theory or possibly motive- and that is they're trying to enter Devallin's lair in hopes of fully controlling the wind dragon with their magic. But in order to do so- they had him attack Mondstadt and planned for us to take action, and head into these domains." Then AMber continues.

"Which originally they couldn't touch or find a way to seal the Anemo orbs without getting hurt. Because of where they come from and their place of origin." Then rested a hand on her right breast. "So by having us do it for them, they will have an army ready to invade." Then hummed and crossed her arm, having her ribbon bounce. "But…what is concerning is that they have a method for the final orb."

This had Diluc hum and look to Aether, who raised a hand and figured to ask Diluc, since he's been investigating. "Are there any humans who are helping the Abyss? That might have them be able to reach the final seal and seal it away, considering they can't touch them physically."

"How about we head out and I will tell you all what I know." Then Diluc laughed. "The stench of singed bodies is getting to me." he laughed and entered the portal and teleported out, followed by the others doing the same and leaving the domain. Taking them back outside and in the open fields and mountains. With Amber stretching out her arms and groaning out, glad to finally be finished with everything- only to scream out when electricity struck her and sent her flying, followed by a very pissed off Lisa stomping her way over to her.

"Diluc, Kaeya." Lisa said quickly and fired off a couple more electricity towards Amber, who yelped and squeaked out- crying out mercy towards Lisa who continued marching and chasing the brown hair girl down. Having Diluc to stare confusingly at the comedic scene and then look to Kaeya and Aether, which the two males just mouthed 'slimes' at Diluc. Who just looked even more confused but figured to ask some other time. As he just turns to face the two and answer Aether's question from before, doing his best to ignore the lightning that's happening right now that Lisa is causing.

"To the question from before," he said and then crossed his arms lightly lifting one finger. "I have not heard anything about humans in the abyss, or working for the abyss. If anything they might be lying." But paused and breathed through his nose. "However- seeing how cunning they have been lately? They could have easily manipulated or possibly hypnotized someone into doing their bidding and having them go after the final Anemo orb."

Though this is where Kaeya interjects, while Aether turned and watched Lisa pouncing Amber and began wrestling with the girl, who was screaming and yelling at the woman- who was tugging and pulling at her brown hair, with a bit of clothes ripping and tearing lightly. "But that will be hard to do without vision. Considering regular people won't be able to get very far if they aren't skilled or have vision." Kaeya hummed. "But…hypnosis you could easily implement them to be skilled rather they're not good at fighting or not." Then look at Diluc, "but yeah that."

"Yeah, even still impossible for them to do so. Since you have to be a vision user to seal away the Anemo orb." He then looks at Aether and looks over at him as the boy looks concerned and worried for Lisa and Amber who are now biting and punching each other. Noticing him not having any source of a vision? "Aether was it?" He asked, having the boy face him. "How are you able to manipulate elements, if you have no vision?" He asked and then- before Aether could answer, everyone took a defensive stance when they heard a loud roar in the distance!

Echoing out and coming from Mondstadt! Having everyone, including the wrestling girls to stop and quickly rise up and run next to the guys. With everyone's eyes widening and gasping at the sight of Devallin in the distance, in the air and soaring straight towards Mondstadt! "Shit, we gotta head back!" Kaeya shouted and whip to Diluc, "Diluc think be safe to waypoint back." Then blinked his eyes seeing the man had disappeared and chuckled, "I will take that as a yes." Laughed Kaeya and opened his map and tapped on the waypoint and disappeared. Followed by Amber and Lisa doing the same, leaving Aether behind as he turns and looks to where they wer once they were standing and facing back to the town..

Aether grunted as he saw Devallin attacking and destroying the town in the distance, becoming very worried about everyone's safety. "Sorry, I did my best to figure out what was wrong but by the time I found Devallin- he headed out before I could calm him down." Venti's voice came from behind Aether, alerting the blonde to his presence and winced at the sight of Venti rubbing the back of his head and letting out low hisses of pain. "Didn't help blowing me into a couple of trees do me any good." He chuckled out and sighs.

"Is there a way we can calm him down or possibly scare him away!?" Aether asks and whips back to town. Having Venti smiling for how much the boy really does care for others safety, no doubt even more so when becoming friends with the Knights of bard hummed and began thinking of a way to settle or temporarily quell Devallin's anger.

"Well, there is one way but I am not sure how well it will do?" Venti said and saw Aether turning back to him and blinking his eyes. "You see," Venti began saying but making sure to be very brief, considering he too is worried about the people. "I use my powers, have you flying and gliding in the air with Devallin speed and special property.s" Then stops after walking in front of him and winces, while gritting his teeth. "BUT at the cost of leaving you open for Devallin to harm you and possibly kill you…" then shakes his head. "I don't want that for you- as your growing on me." he joked but whined, "But I also don't want the people of Mondstadt to suffer too…Devallin cause to much damage as is, and am afraid that the Knights might take extreme measures of how to deal with him."

Aether then says, "But we now know who is behind it!" Aether argued and threw a hand to the domain. "We know the Abyss are definitely behind it, and are using us to get into his territory. If we don't calm him down and tell everyone."

"The problem with that is even if she's Grand master of the Knights. There are those who are out class and out rank even Jean, who are in favor of the people too. So, if those figures notice this and know Devallin has been going out of control or rampaging against us." Venti counter-argued and saw Aether lowering and relaxing his shoulders. Seeing where he's coming from, "Yeah won't be a pretty picture." Venti then hummed. While opening his eyes and then says, "What do you want to do Traveler- I am giving you a choice. Venti then chuckled when Aether didn't even hesitate to ask and smiled, "What do you think?" He joked with Venti, as the barde smirked back and adjusted his cap. "But will I be able to move while flying?" Aether quickly asked as the bard nodded his head. "Okay, cause don't you worry. I knew how to fly pretty well before my powers got sealed."

"That's all I needed to hear!" Venti grinned and went snapping his fingers as green blinding light of energy surrounded and consumed Aether, before everything went white and vanished out of thin air, alongside Venti too.

"Everyone come on, everyone run toward the Cathedral in a calm and single line! The basement and bunkers are a safe place!" Amber called out and shouted to everyone who were running in different directions to where the bunkers are and will be safe from Devllin's attacks. "Please, follow the Knight of Mondstaft to safety!" She continued running and then yelled out in surprise, when some wind-like energy beams began firing down on the town and erupted some of the buildings and structures of the city. Amber then unshielded herself and looked to the destruction that was happening, alongside some roof tiles ready to fall onto some children and people. She immediately grabbed her bow and fired off a powerful Pyro shot towards the debris.

Erupting and destroying them before they could cause harm towards the people. Who were quickly helped and aided by some knights. Amber huffed lightly and then looked around and began running towards the alleyways to see if anyone needed assistance.

She staggered a bit when the winds were becoming a little strong, causing her to bump and crash into some of the buildings and housing walls. Causing her to wince and grunt in pain when crashing into them, then bending down and quickly righting herself up when she almost lost her footing and ran towards the eastern part of the city. Finding some people trapped behind some debris and rubble, that her Pyro vision wouldn't be able to destroy. She heard them crying out and calling out for anyone to help them! But with the winds and the roar of the dragon constantly flying by and summoning its powers. Nobody would have heard them.

"Everything will be alright! I will get you out of there…somehow…" Amber muttered the last part as she approached the blocked off building and began looking left and right, trying to figure out how she could do this? Then heard what sounded like a whistle and winds coming from behind her- as she quickly moved out of the way and rolled across the streets, then whipped her head to the debris and saw a serum bottle breaking against the said rubble, gathering large winds around it, followed by ice being mixed in with the large amount of wind! Freezing the rubble completely into one huge ice chunk!

"Amber now!" A female voice, having Amber turn towards the direction of the stairs leading upwards- seeing two females at the steps, a young child with a cat tail and cat ears, with pink hair hair, firing another ice arrow towards the wind and debris. Wearing a cap on her head, and a white t-shirt design with detached elbow length sleeves, exposing her stomach and wearing blue shorts that had a cat-like orange paw print hanging off her belt. The second one, the one who called out to Amber- was Sucrose who was wearing what seemed to be the knights of Mondstadt uniform, wearing glasses and having green hair- that extended out into a ponytail with green pointed ears. Holding multiple looking bottles among her waistline.

Amber turned to the debris and did an aim shot towards it and erupted the frozen rubble into nothing, allowing the people who were trapped behind it to go running off and thanking all three of them as Sucrose and Diona ran down the steps and approached Amber. Amber sighs and smiles towards the two of them, "Thanks, I wouldn't know how to save them if you two didn't show up." Amber said while holding back some anger in her tone, considering what happened to herself back in the domain. AND knowing who it was that made those Pyro enhancers for her.

The cat girl Diona, smugly places her hands onto her waist after summoning her bow away and swishing her tail. "Heh! The Knights of Mondstadt needing help to solve a crisis, is something that you wouldn't normally see." But then settled down and smiled. "But yeah- in that situation I would be having trouble figuring things out." Then look to Sucrose."Good thing Sucrose here came when she did, she the one who came up with the idea of combining my Cryo with her Anemo stasis bottles"

Sucrose blushes lightly and sheepishly folded her hands behind her back and sway lightly, while softly speaking, "It-It wasn't anything special, just…since you needed help Amber. I figured the combination of our Visions could rescue the people a lot quicker." Then looks to Amber who look at her, as Sucrose then says. "By the way, did the Pyro enhancer work for you? I did my utmost best to be sure it would improve your Pyro efficiency, before Lisa took a look at it when I got done."

Amber blinked her eyes and then felt her pupils shrink, realizing that sentence alone. THAT sentence alone- tells Amber that Sucrose WAS in fact thinking of enhancing her abilities. But Lisa was the one who fiddled with the potion. But quickly shook her head and chuckled, "Oh yeah! Yeah, it actually did help greatly." Then rubbed the back of her head and looked away, while sweat dripped from Diona giving a suspicious look to her. "Worked a little too well though, so might want to tone down the power output."

Sucrose hummed and nodded her head, bringing her arms away from her back. "Lower the output. But glad to hear that it worked!" Then all three shielded themselves when more explosions and Anemo powers were being sent to the city. Having all of them look up at the dragon and then Amber shouted.

"Enough chat, let's go and see if anyone else needs our help!" Amber said and began running while shouting to Diona. "Are you sure you want to help? I know you have a vision." Amber began saying, only to get cut off when Diona hissed back.

"Please! Don't treat me like a child, just because I am one! You wouldn't get those people out if I didn't come and help!" Diona hissed out and argued back, but laughed when Amber smiled and nodded saying how she welcomes the help. Though when the group got to the main plaza and fountain of Mondstadt. They were nearly run over by a bunch of people rushing and running towards safety- as the three girls stuck close together and watched the frantic people running for their life.

They then heard other Vision users in town helping out with the evacuation, having them turn in the gates direction. Seeing Jean and Lisa moving about and swiftly jumping, leaping and flipping about using both Electro and Anemo to magnetize the debris and rubbles with their combined vision. And then Jean blows the rubble away by shooting them over the large towering walls of Mondstasdt. Then the trio look towards the north of their positioning seeing a woman with Kaeya and Diluc, looking to be wearing very tight purple and blue skin tight looking wizardry looking clothing, and very skin tight pantyhose to her impressive wide hips, tight looking reward and impressive busts. As she flicked and threw her arms about sending Hydro-like powers towards the flames and fires that were being made from Devallin.

Not only that but her Hydro is also making it easier for Kaeya's Cryo powers to freeze the debri and allowing Diluc, to come and shatter them and breaking them apart with relative ease. Even the Knights Rookie Maid Noelle, was helping out and guiding everyone to safety. Everyone was doing their part to help out in the town and that everybody in town was making their way to safety. Though before the trio could act out and move, the girl who was helping out Kaeya- turned and widened her eyes as she saw Devallin heading right for the trio and shouted. "WATCH OUT!"

Sucrose was the one who had stepped forward ahead of Amber and Diona, causing her to whip around and widened her eyes at the sight of Devallin charging down right towards her! His maw opened up and ready to chomp down on the girl, everything began moving very slowly as if time was coming to a complete standstill! Amber could be seen trying to dash towards Sucrose in order to knock her away, but knew she wouldn't make it time as Sucrose was frozen stiff, like a deer to hunters and shook violently as she felt her life flash before her eyes.

"GET AWAY FROM THEM!" Came another voice from the distance, surprising everyone there who were all witness to the scene in front of them. As they saw what appeared to be a blonde looking blur shooting across the skies and slamming right into Devallin's neck! Erupting in a loud boom as it was Aether! Who had elbow charged into Devallin's neck, sending the dragon off course and flying over Sucrose! Who fell onto her rear and stared wide-eyed at the sight of the blonde boy attacking Devallin.

Everyone there were all wide eyed- as Diona had her eyes wide in curiosity and in awe, the purple twin-ponytail woman wearing the wizard-like stared in disbelief, followed by Noelle who was looking over her shoulder and stared owlishly at the view. EVERYONE saw it and then shielded themselves when a blast of winds blew throughout the city from the impact, then uncovered themselves and saw the blonde boy darting toward Devallin!

Amber rushes over to Sucrose and helps her up, "You alright? You're not hurt are you?" Amber asked, followed by Diona who rushed over and helped the girl up onto her feet. Who was shaking and trembling. Adjusting her glasses as she tried calming her breathing, "Easy now, easy-" Amber said and then smiled. "Heh, good thing Aether was here to stop Devallin." Though blinked her eyes and whipped her attention towards the boy. "Although, how did he…" then stops herself realizing who could've helped him.

"Aether?" Sucrose and Diona repeated and had Amber staring at the two and smiled.

Kaeya laughed as he explained to the purple-haired girl, who's name is Mona. "Yeah, a traveler from afar who is looking for his sister. We started giving him a test to become part of the Knights of Mondstadt." The man began saying and turned towards Aether as he and Devallin were battling and attacking one another in the sky. "Keeps surprising us greatly, and even Barbatos seems to be supporting Aether against Devallin."

"Really?" Mona asks and watches the fight going on, as Noelle the Maid knight approaches the three and Diluc continues for Kaeya. Crossing his arms and laughing lightly, despite only knowing the young traveler for a few minutes. He's impressed by the spectacle.

"Yeah, from what Kaeya told me along with Amber and Lisa. He had come into contact with Devallin before and even the wind, Archon himself." Then raised a hand lightly and sighed out. As we switch towards Amber discussing things to Diona and Sucrose.

"It's actually thanks to him running into Venti before coming here. That we actually figured out why Devallin is attacking us and terrorizing the city." Amber began saying and turned to the sight of Aether charging towards Devallin, having a blush forming around her face and felt her heart swelling up. "Honestly, I never thought I would see anyone be daring enough to charge and attack a Dragon head on like this. The wind Archon must have a lot of faith in Aether."

Diona hummed and watched the fight going on, "Huh-" but then growled lightly. "No doubt hes a drunk obsess loser- who's just trying to impress everyone with his skills. Just to get a drink and get drunk." Then yelped when Amber had a tick mark, then slaps Diona on the back of her head. Causing the girl to hiss and growl up, "WHAT the hell was that for!"

"You haven't met him, don't assume you think he's a drunkard." Amber scolded back and the two went into a little argument back and forth between each other. With Sucrose watching and staring intently at the battle- feeling her heart pumping and thumping against her chest, eyes sparkling and wavering at her 'hero' who rescued her and whispering silently.

"Please…be careful…"

Aether flew backwards, flipping and twirling in the air after making contact with Devallin's claws and righted himself up but quickly threw his arms down and legs together to ascend over Devballin! Making him twist and turn towards the sight of the majestic green beast and hearing Venti's voice, "See anything out of the ordinary? I can't get a good reading on him."

Aether darted his eyes over Devallin's back, watching more green tornados heading his way- which he easily dodged by moving and gliding left to right to evade the attacks. Then spotted those same purple runes from before, but now what appears to be a purple crystal? "There's a purple crystal on his forehead, I don't think that was there before?" Aether responded and stretched his sword out and began firing off wind bullets towards Devallin- causing the dragon to roar out in pain and being pelted by the multiple bullets!

"Shit…" Venti cussed and then says, "then that means the Abyss order is almost having full control over Devallin." He said and heard the bullets being deflected off from the crystal and hearing Aether growling in frustration. "And of course it's shielded…wicked creatures they are."

"What should we do?" Aether asked and then quickly dived down, barely dodging one of Devallin's wind blasts- and even his claws which nicked across his right cheek and had blood spilling lightly. "Cause, Devallin is starting to get some shots in."

Venti sensed it and figured to not risk Aether's life, but that doesn't mean they could have tired out and injured Devallin either. "Okay listen up." He began saying and sensed Aether turning around to face Devallin and began firing off more wind bullets. "Considering we now know what the Abyss order is doing and from what you told me. About using the Knights to lower the wind barrier," he says as Aether and Devallin clashed sword and claw to each other- with Devallin slashing his talons at Aether in a sword like fashion. With Aether countering by swinging his sword up against his claws, to then crisscross when Devallin clasps his talons together and slashed downwards to then flipping away from Aether and blew his wings hard and rough to fire large air bullets at him.

In turn Aether easily twirls around the first one and then loops over the next one, and then slashes overhead and downwards sending his own Wind energy blade to Devallin who quickly moves his right wing over himself and guards the attack. "I want you to try and injure Devallin as much as you can." Venti said, surprising Aether who looked to the side from his voice and then grunted out when a bullet smacked him and caused him to fly backwards. But not seriously injured. Then quickly furled up his glider to drop down to evade Devallin charging attack and quickly unfurled them to stay in midair.

"Are you sure?" Aether asked while facing Devallin and saw him swinging around and firing off another Wind blast from his mouth, as Aether quickly charged forward and dipped upwards by swinging his lower body upwards and began twirling around the wind blast readying his sword.

"Trust me, this is actually a good idea. Cause you see, since we will be injuring Devallin and tiring him out. And I mean, really injured him enough that he is forced to flee and escape." Venti said and saw Aether eyes widening and hardening in a smile expression. As he stuck his sword out and began blasting forward with incredible speed ready to dig the sword slightly into Devallin's scales.

"He would be forced to try and recover from the injuries, and depending how deep we injured him." Then began yelling out and gathering anemo around his blade, so that the injury will be large enough for Devallin to flee and force him into recovering.

"It will give not only you and the knights a chance to destroy whatever crystal is on his head. But forces the Abyss order, having to make a back up plan- distracting them from whatever ideas they have for him." Venti smiled and then a ghost-like image of Venti's body appeared next to Aether as he began slashing across Devallin's scales and sides. "There's so much sadness in his eyes, I don't know how long he has been in sadness…but The Abyss order has definitely corrupted him and made him despise humans." Then faced forward and began enhancing Aether's attack some more as the blonde traveler was about done. "So my friend, I will have to do this to you and figure out exactly what happened and what the Abyss told you."

Then his after image disappeared and laughed when Aether quickly pulled away and blew the powers out of his sword, so he wouldn't badly wound the dragon and spun around when he heard Devallin screaming in agony and had bit of blood spilling out from his sides and scales, eyes connecting with Aether as the blonde traveler felt his mind quickly going blank and heard a voice saying, "Your not like her- yet you look similar…but your heart…your heart seems pure. Who…are you?" And had Aether groaning and holding his head when the voice disappeared and saw Devallin crying out and flying away in the direction of his lair.

Aether watches and stares at Devallin disappearing form. Being a bit fazed from the voice echoing inside his head, "Was that…Devallin?" He whispered silently and then heard Venti speaking.

"You and Devallin quickly made contact with each other. Some of his blood did connect with you. So you were able to hear each other for a brief moment." Then hears Venti humming out, curious of what it is Devallin said to him. "What did he say?"

"I am not like her…" Aether repeated, wondering what that meant? They also look similar but behave differently. "Was he talking about my sister? Lumine?" He wondered and then felt the wind's powers fading away and Venti voice speaking once more.

"Hmm, let's get you back first and land safely. I am sure your friends and those in the knights are very worried about you. I will approach you all when I can, then we can figure out exactly what Devallin meant by…You're not her." Venti said and honestly, he already has a feeling he's talking about Aether's sister. Cause who else would the Dragon be talking about, especially if the rest of Aether's thoughts were to go by and accidentally prying into said thoughts. The whole you look similar comment could only mean one thing, his sister and devallin had met. "OH!"

Aether hummed and then laughed at Venti next sentence, "seems like you have already caught more interests for lovely Companions during your heroic act there. And I thought you would need my help." Joked Venti, figuring to lighten up the mood. "Heh, not even a day has passed and already you're becoming a ladies man- you sly dog you."

"Hey it was your idea for me to get a harem! Saying how it can build up power within me." Aether argued back and groaned. Not really interested in making a harem in a new world right away, but sighs as Venti had to bring it up once more.

"Traveling alone is a long and boring road, with no interests and can even possibly make you go crazy." Venti said and laughed. "But having companions to travel with you on this journey of yours, and having fun and non- boring activities. Will be the right thing to do." Then says. "That and honestly, you're leaving quite an impression on me too. I want to look out for you and make sure that you have people watching over you, especially who knows what kind of dangers oppose you."

Aether groaned and could see the half destroyed Mondstadt coming into view, along with A worried Amber who looked to be in slight tears and smiling happily up towards him. Making Aether laugh and smile back down to her and then the rest of the knights, Jean, Kaeya, Lisa and Diluc waiting for Aether to land. "Sigh, you have a point…again."

"Don't I always." Joke Venti. "Don't answer that, considering you and I just met." Venti laughed and had Aether laughing, to then even more so when he landed and had Amber rush to him and began asking questions and checking over him, for any injuries he may have sustained. While letting out a sorry when she touched his cheek and watched him wince. Followed by the others approaching and checking up on him with Venti finishing and saying.

"But this is what I mean Aether, by having people there to watch over you. Having a Harem won't be bad at all, with girls and lovers caring for you and you caring for them. Nwo- give me a couple of minutes and let the Knights know, I will be arriving shortly." Thus his connection with Venti disappeared and had Aether smiling lightly and understood now what he meant. As he goes and explains everything he can to the knights and what to expect.

Meanwhile…

A large group of Abyss order minions could be seen standing in front of the wind barrier that is blocking them off from Devallin's lair- Abyss mages, Abyss heralds, and abyss knights all stand at the ready waiting for the barrier to go down and allow them access to his lair. They all cheered and roared when they saw the barrier flashing white and began disappearing before them, along with the winds dying down and making it safe to cross. They then heard people teleporting in the area with the waypoint as an Abyss herald appeared and began kneeling down, same with the rest of the group as a young woman.

Appeared before them with blonde long hair, that were in a braid style ponytail. Wearing a white dress with blue designs running across the outfit, similar design and fashion to that of Aether, with golden eyes blinking and adjusting to their new location. White boots clacking against the dirt below her as she began moving forward and the cape-like scars flew behind her as she approached where the barrier once held, as she heard the Abyss order calling out, "Our princess…"

She stops and then faces the large group of people in front of her, as her eyes reflected with no emotion and coldness in her eyes. As imagery flashes before her and standing among the burning destruction of a kingdom…cries of children, women, men, all creatures of the kingdom being killed, being hunted down, being murder and destroyed. With some fleeing and escaping the burning kingdom- being cursed and betrayed by the GODS of this world. Rid them of their home, rid them of their livelihood, rid them ever finding peace. Cursed and transformed right before her eyes of becoming monsters- becoming the creatures they are today. With some being cursed to have everlasting life and immortality- never being able to age, not being able to fall sick, to not being able to die. Even when they are sliced, ripped, pierced or even tried drowning- they will still be alive and aware of their situation, their bodies will reform back together and they continue to live on.

"Princess of Khanerya- the barrier is down. We can proceed with our plan and take over the Dragon known as Devallin." Came an abyss mage voice. Making the girl flash back to the present and look at it. "However- we have word that someone has injured the Dragon, one with blonde hair and clothing that almost resembles that of yours."

This had the girl blinking her eyes and widening them. But then looked down in thought, "Brother is alive after all…but he has no clue what he is getting into." She thought and then looked towards her men and closed her eyes. "Don't try to engage him, as yes. He's my brother however- he wasn't with us when your kingdom, your home has been destroyed and defiled by the GODS of this world." She began saying and raised a hand up. "He might try and stop our plans and might try to interfere, so I would love it- if none of you inform him anything about our goals or what we are doing." Then rested a hand against her right breast and gritted his teeth. "Even though I want to see him again…and probably hug him and be glad he's alright…" then blushes lightly.

Then shakes her head and thrust her arm down, "But I won't- I won't show sympathy to him nor will I let my feelings get the better judgment from me." Then sighed. "He;s our enemy right now and he has no idea what we are doing." Then harden her look. "And if we do reunite with him, then I will be sure to know and let him know that what we're doing is a greater clause." Then turned around and faced the entrance of Devallin's lair. Then look over her shoulder. "Now let's go, we still have things to do. Make sure to set up the ruin guards around the entrance and let none of the Knights enter. Now let's go." She said and heard her men cheering and roaring as they followed the young girl to Devallin's lair as Lumine breathed and exhaled lightly as she felt a Knight resting a hand on her shoulder.

"You sure about this? I know how close the two of you are, we may be monsters. But we still hold memories of our loved ones and families." Said a knight, watching Lumine blush and rest a hand on its own hand and push it off softly.

"I am sure- much I feel my heart rising and fluttering at the idea of Aether being alright. I cannot be distracted from our goals." She then looked ahead and gave a firm nod. "But I hope for the best for him…" then chuckled. "And who knows, he might make friends and loved ones who will watch out for him." Then began walking and chuckling out. "He can be a little hot-headed sometimes and rush into things, and try doing things by himself."

Getting the knight to laugh and follow her into the lair."I hear that, considering you do the exact same thing from time to time." He joked about getting her to growl and stomp her foot at him with a pout, earning more boastful laughter from the knight as she growled irritably and shook her head. But smiles and blushes fondly at hearing Aether is alright, but knows their reunion will not be a happy one.

As destiny has set the course for the twins as their goals will be colliding against one another. What kind of journey is in store for Lumine? And why is she working with the Abyss order? As Aether's adventure continues…
