That night at the zoo long after the group left, the tiger Tori Thaiga could not stop thinking of the KFP drumstick she tasted earlier, the delicious spices and how well the meat was cooked. And so, she planned an escape. After the last zoo worker came into the pen to drop off food, the feline stealthily stole the keys from the worker and waited until he left.
Once the zoo fell quiet, Tori used her tail to reach the key to the lock and open the door. However, her plan to sneak out quietly was soon ruined as the other tigers rushed out and created a lot of noise and mess. The little tiger tried to make the best of the situation to escape, but was soon stopped by the shouts of the other animals. Feeling guilty for leaving behind the others who want out, she went back and unlocked their cages as well. The zoo fell into chaos with much of the animals running loose.
Following the Tori were the panda and the parrot for letting them out. The coyote, however, got lost in the stampede and was forced to find her own way out.
Now outside of the zoo, the panda and the parrot followed the tiger who was looking for the source of the drumsticks. The tiger's sense of smell was pretty sharp, so she found the KFP restaurant quickly. Their presence scared away all of the customers and sent all of the staff into hiding. Quite unfortunate Kiara wasn't on shift at the time to calm the situation.
The three enjoyed the food left behind by the customers. Tori tried out each food out, astonished by the different tastes she never knew existed. However, their meal was soon interrupted by animal control. Tori and the parrot quickly left, but the panda was left behind, hidden in a box of chicken nuggets asleep after eating so much.
The two finally reached a forest where they were safe. However, the tiger cried in despair. The parrot Auteru Tori (Tori is the parrot's last name) asked what was bothering her. The feline laments over the fact that people fear her for being a terrifying species, something that would prevent her from trying out new dishes and discovering new flavors.
By some coincidence, some fairies passing by overheard the tiger's plight. Amused, they offered Tori and Auteru an opportunity to be granted the ability to transform (though not completely) into a human. Before Tori accepted, however, she told the fairies that there was one other companion whom they lost they should turn also turn human. And so, the fairies granted their wish.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the outskirts of the city, the coyote wandered alone and tripped over rainbow-colored crystal lying around, transforming her into a more human form...and in clothing. Intrigued by the crystal, the coyote girl stored it in her pocket. A lady in a lab coat soon came into view, looking on the ground for something. The coyote asked the lady what she was looking for. Seeing a girl with animal ears, the lady asked if she happened to come across a colorful crystal. The coyote admitted to encountering the object and showed it her. Seeing that the girl had already came in contact with the mineral, the lady offered her an invitation to a place to Japari Park.
