"Ugh... What happened?"
Rookie casually looked away from the ongoing aerial battle. The girl whom he was tasked to babysit was slowly getting up in a sitting position. He approached her, noting the pained expression on her face. Though to be fair, if she was a mere human then she would most likely not be breathing right now.
The girl shook her head a bit to clear off her headache, before finally noticing his presence. "Wahh!" she exclaimed. "Who are you!?"
Rookie calmly held up his hands in front of him as a way of showing that he was an ally. Fortunately she caught on quick, leaving him feeling at ease inside.
She slowly went up to her feet, dusting off her tattered clothes soon after. She then turned her attention to the ODST, staring at him with interest.
"So you're a friend. What's your name? I can't seem to recall much. But um, before I blacked out, I think... there was a loud boom! And bam! And-" The girl proceeded to make a number of obnoxious sounds, all the while flailing her arms about as she did so. "Pew pew pew! Then wham! Whoosh!"
Rookie decided to silently watch her until she was finished. He figured that she was attempting to imitate the sounds of explosions and plasma fire, but at this point he wasn't so sure anymore. The satori was tossing out so many child-like noises to the point where it was difficult to tell whether she was still on the same topic or not.
Honestly, he had to go with the latter.
"And then pssshhhh... Boom!" The satori held up her hands high above her head to emphasise her point. She stared at the ODST for a brief while to see if he was still with her, before finally lowering her arms to her sides. "You get what I'm trying to say?"
Silence was what greeted her.
The satori blinked a couple of times, grinning widely all of a sudden later on.
"Oh yeah, what was your name again?" she asked in a cheerful tone.
