20- In Search For a Star.

At New Iacon…

"What do you mean I cannot go with you in your mission?"

"Bonnie listen, I need you to remain here so you can help everyone from here at base. Do you really think Fixit will be able to attend to all of us in case more than one is in request of assistance?" Clemont explained.

"I heard that." Fixit said a little annoyed.

"So you are asking me to stay so I can be your eyes and ears?" Bonnie deduced.

"Exactly." Clemont confirmed.

"Are you sure she would be up to the task?"

"Trust us, Ratchet. She has passed so much time observing her big brother, if someone has managed to learn something from him, no one better than his little sister. Besides, it can't be so difficult to operate the ground bridge if Max is also capable of." Tracey reassured him.

"Alright, I'll cover your backs while you're there on the field. But at least take Dedenne with you."

"That's the spirit, little sister."

"Dedenne, go with big brother and the others and help them all you can. Can I count on you?"

"Dedenne." Bonnie's little pokémon nodded.

"That's my Dedenne."

"Hey! Can we be on our way already?"

"Easy Max, the place is not going anywhere when we depart." Hot Rod joked.

"Opening ground bridge at the marked location." Fixit announced.

Max, Clemont, Tracey, Bumblebee, Hot Rod and Ratchet crossed the portal for their destination: the next known place of being the home of another legendary pokémon. Once at the other side they found themselves in middle of a huge valley known as Forina.

"It's like it hasn't changed." Max admired.

"What a beautiful place." Tracey observed, and took the chance to make a drawing. "I need to take back a view of this."

"So, what do you know about this valley?" Clemont asked.

"We visited it when we helped Jirachi get back home." Max answered.

"Jirachi? Is that the name of the legendary pokémon residing here?" Bumblebee asked.

"Yes. It was an amazing friend: we used to play together, laugh together...we used to have so much fun the two of us."

Bee smiled. "Looks like you were very good friends."

"You bet. So that's why I don't want to let it end falling at hands of the Decepticons."

Ratchet displayed a hologram of Jirachi. "Honestly, I don't see what the Decepticons see as interesting on such little pokémon."

"Jirachi doesn't look like much at first sight, but it is a very important pokémon. At least for this place."

"How do you know that?" Tracey asked.

"There's a report from Kidd Summers, a friend of us that we knew time after, in which she documented the important link between Jirachi and the valley. Besides, I witnessed how it used the power of the Millennium Comet to infuse life to the whole area."

"Perhaps that's why the Cons want it, to use that same power for their own purposes." Hot Rod deduced.

"Then we better find it before they do." Bumblebee said pulling out his scanner. "Although it will be difficult without a signal to track."

"Try to change the frequency for it to detect any energy around the area."

Ratchet did what Clemont suggested, typing some buttons into the scanner. "Hum, what do you know? Human perspective wins again. There seems to be strong waves of energy flowing around the valley's subsoil. And it seems to be originating in one certain point."

Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones seeing that on a scanner.

"Hmm, it seems we did right at bringing that mining team with us." Stinger saw.

"Arg, by the love of Galvatron, are we really going to end digging something out? I joined this task because it was supposed to be an easy search."

"Stop complaining Knock Out, no one asked you to join."

"Even if I had the right to choose, Starscream would have force me to come."

"Ha, I still don't understand why he allows you to come to these kind of missions. It's pretty obvious."

"Obvious? About exactly what?"

"It's pretty clear you are not exactly the usual Decepticon warrior, Knock Out. You care more for your appearance than your success record; when there's a job to do you first check if there's a chance to end up dirty. Even the newest of Autobots are more determined to go through anything in order to get their job done, but you aren't. You are a refined one."

"Excuse me?! You dare to question my dedication to the Decepticon cause? For you to know while you were wandering through space looking for lost and in need long-lost comrades, I took part in many crucial chapters of the Earth campaign: helping retrieving precious relics and artifacts from our past, witnessing the rise of the Chaos Bringer...hey, even I faced Optimus Prime hand to hand one time."

"You just got lucky. If I recall well you used to pair with a tough guy named Breakdown. I'm sure he used to do all the heavy job."

"What? You...you rode our files?"

"Xiaxus insisted that we get updated about everything we missed."

"I also managed to surprise and take down the Autobots on my own one time, and outnumbered."

"By using a special weapon to gain advantage, which Soundblaster was capable to recover after facing a Wrecker. Of course, cheating is also part of the Decepticon style, so I guess that counts."

"Of course it counts. Even I competed against the Autobot scout lots of times. It can be said we are rivals."

"You, battling against Bumblebee?" Stinger asked in disbelief before laughing. "You're joking. You against Bumblebee? Oh my...that's hilarious."

"What? You don't believe me?"

"I hardly find it possible giving my experience with that Autobot. I have faced Bumblebee personally and believe me, his skills are more advanced than of a scout. He fights like a true warrior, I sensed it on my own chassis."

"Hum, you say it as if you admire him."

"I know he's a worthy opponent, as he and I are very similar when it comes to combat skills. That's why he's considered my perfect rival, not yours."

"Skills are not everything, experience also counts. Don't think because you fought alongside Galvatron the first time you are superior than those we used to battle for eons before you even born." Knock Out snapped, having enough. "You want me to prove you I'm as capable of performing a mission as any other Decepticon? Fine, I'll show you! You there, move those drills! That pokémon is not going to dig out itself."

"This will be interesting." Stinger smirked as he followed him.

The Decepticon miners stood there speechless, not having an idea of what was that for.

"Do you know why they were arguing?" One of the miners asked the rest, who denying.

Meanwhile, the Autobot team was still wandering on the surface following the energy trail.

"The signal is getting strong, we must be getting close." Ratchet saw while the kids were talking.

"Jirachi wakes up for only seven days every one thousand years?" Clemont asked in disbelief while Max nodded.

"You were very lucky to been there in that moment." Tracey added.

"It was a once in a lifetime opportunity." Max nodded smiling, something that Bumblebee observed.

"Hold!" Ratchet called. "According to this we are on the right spot."

Everyone looked around but didn't saw any detail which indicated any sign of Jirachi's presence.

"I don't see anything. Are you sure this is the right place?" Hot Rod asked.

"The scanners indicates this is where the signal originates." Ratchet confirmed.

"It is also suspicious we haven't seen Decepticons yet, and they are supposed to come as well." Tracey added.

Not knowing what to do, Bumblebee appealed to his best friend. "Max, where was Jirachi the last time you were here?"

"Well, it was supposed to be right… Oh, how could I forget it? Jirachi buried itself right after getting back to sleep. So it's supposed to be under beneath where we stand."

"Just great. Unfortunately we don't currently possess any equipment for mining right at its underneath location." Ratchet complained.

"But our pokémon can help there. Diggerby can dig us a way right to Jirachi in no time." Clemont suggested.

"By human standard yes, but it will require him more time to make a tunnel big enough for us."

"De? Dedenne!"

"Hey guys, I think Dedenne has discovered something." Hot Rod said following him.

The little pokémon walked to the edge and pointed to the exit of a river, with a tunnel which maybe led to the underground.

"Looks like you resolved our issue, little guy." Bee congratulated.

"Nene." Dedenne nodded.

"Alright, let's roll in there and discover what lies at the end."

Everyone said nothing at Bumblebee's speech.

Ratchet sighed as he walked in. "Let's continue with the mission."

The others followed him, except Max who was concerned about his friend. "Bee, was that another of your motto tries?"

Bumblebee sighed. "It didn't work either."

"Why you're still with that?"

"Remember when Optimus decided to grant me more authority leading the team? Well, I thought it would be proper to have my own battle phrase like Optimus when he says 'transform and roll out'."

Max laughed. "I think that's cool."

"But I still can't find a suitable one for me. It's so hard that it has to be cool and inspiring at the same time. I've even been making at list."

"Don't stress out buddy, I'm sure you will find it sooner or latter. Just think about the cool things you like to do, for if can give you a clue."

"Hum...that would work. Thanks Max, I needed that."

"Hey, are you mocking behind my back?"

"No Ratchet! We're coming!" Max answered.

Once in the tunnel, the Autobots turned on their lights to illuminate their path.

"We are fortunate that Venonat can lead us through this maze." Ratchet appreciated.

"His Compound Eyes are very sharp, ideal for these cases." Tracey reassured him.

After a while walking…

"Hey, you hear that?" Bumblebee said.

"It sounds like if someone's drilling." Hot Rod recognized.

"And since we just arrived, guess who must be." Ratchet continued.

"The Cons. They're going after Jirachi!" Max yelled alarmed before running into the tunnel.

"Max, wait!" Clemont called.

Max hurried up until he reached the end of tunnel. There it opened to a huge chamber, surely not natural because there were piles of rocks accumulated on corners, and saw the Decepticon miners excavating through just one wall. Knock Out seemed to be supervising the whole operation while Stinger didn't stood far from him.

"So, you decided to check if the miners make their job right?" Stinger figured out.

"Exactly, I want to make sure they don't make an oversight and end hitting our objective. And what are you doing meanwhile?"

"Guarding, making sure no one attempts to sabotage the whole act."

"You think the Autobots will show up?"

"Don't they always? And I'm not referring just them: I saw how some pokémon looked at us on our way here. We have to be ready in case they decide to try to stop us."

"Ha, they are just usual inhabitants. Why would they care about just one of them?"

"Depends on how important that one is."

"Oh, have you become a pokémon expert now?"

Max was witnessing all their conversation.

"How pathetic. Those two argue more than Team Rocket." Max looked at the hole the drill was making on the wall. "That must be the access they're making to Jirachi."

"Max, hold on. You can't run out like that, do you want to put yourself in danger?" Tracey said.

"But they are going to get Jirachi if we don't do something."

"We know you're worried, but I promised your sister I'll watch over you, and that means not exposing yourself at the Decepticons." Clemont reminded.

"It seems they haven't reached it yet. The element of surprise remains on our side." Ratchet saw.

"Besides, they didn't brought defenses with them. Just a bunch of miners, to make it quick." Bee noticed.

"I suggest we remain hidden until they reach their target." Hot Rod proposed.

In that moment, the drill stopped excavating.

"Sir, we believe we have reached the point." The miner in charge announced.

"Is that so? Let me see if that's true." Knock Out demanded pushing everyone aside.

Stinger jumped over the drill, reaching the hole first, and took a look inside. The hole was small, for a Decepticon, but something caught Stinger's eye, and introduced in his hand to reach it. After pulling a little he took out some kind of small rock like a meteor, shining with a peculiar glow.

"Looks like we have found this land's treasure." Stinger said.

"Is that...the pokémon we've been sent to capture?"

"Looks can be deceiving, don't you know, Knock Out? This little thing is supposed to be infused with the energy of an unusual comet. Surely must be special if said energy can spread life on this whole area."

"I guess. We may obtain more promising results once we start analyzing it back in the warship. Besides, I have already received enough moisture down here, I need a buffer right away."

"No!" A voice yelled, making them to look at who did it, and saw Max approaching them. "To take Jirachi out of here, you will have to deal with me first!"

"Dedenne!" Dedenne said standing a his side.

"Whoa, look who we have here." Knock Out started.

"Bumblebee's best pal on Earth." Stinger said first.

"What? You know each other?"

"He was a pain in my hubcaps when I faced Bumblebee the first time, attacking me from the rear."

"I simply did what any good friend would do for other. Just like I'm doing for Jirachi." Max responded back.

"Jirachi?" Knock Out asked confused.

"I think he's referring to the pokémon hibernating inside this rock. Thanks for the leak, little human. Seeing this thing looks very precious for you I promise I'll take good care of it."

"Your promise doesn't look sincere, Stinger. And you don't inspire enough confidence by just your appearance." Max mocked.

Knock Out laughed. "That's a good one."

"Shut up!" Stinger reacted hitting Knock Out with Jirachi's rock before facing Max again. "And you, little boy, should watch your tongue, specially when you are in presence of beings way bigger than you."

"Stinger!"

Bumblebee entered kicking Stinger aside. That made him lose grip of the rock, allowing Max to catch it.

"Bumblebee, ready for round three?"

"Whenever you want. If you mess with my friend, you mess with me."

And the two scouts rumbled again.

"Don't worry Jirachi, I'm going to take you out of here." Max spoke with the rock.

"Where do you think you're going to take that, little human? Stop him!" Knock Out ordered to the miners.

They were going for Max, but Ratchet and Hot Rod intervened first and punched back the closest ones. The miners surrounded Ratchet and took turns to attack him, but the Autobot medic saw them coming and countered well, sometimes even with cool moves like a side kick or an uppercut.

"What in the...How?" Knock Out asked in disbelief.

"I may be old, but that doesn't mean I can't work out." Ratchet answered proud before throwing one miner to another.

"Guess I will have to take the little pixie by my own and make a getaway like I use to do. Ha, I'm eager to see Stinger's face when he sees me back at the Nemesis holding the prize to rub it in his face."

But before Knock Out could do anything, he received a few shots on his sides, leaving him marks.

"Ah! Who was it?! Who has the nerve to leave me burns?!"

"Right here!"

Knock Out saw Clemont, the one who answered him, firing his cybertronian weapon at him, accompanied by Chespin and Venonat, firing Pin Missile at him, and Confusion to throw him the rocks they excavated.

"Rarg, where did you get that gun? This is too much for me and my paint!" Knock Out complained, covering behind the drill.

"Clemont, give Ratchet a hand, we will keep Knock Out busy."

"Okay, Hot Rod."

Clemont aimed for the miners Ratchet was handling, taking them down before they could harm his guardian. In a few seconds all miners were defeated.

"Huah!" Ratchet announced victorious before looking at Clemont. "Thanks for the assist."

"We make a good team."

"Guys, I have Jirachi!" Max shouted, heading for the tunnel.

"Then we are done, let's get out of here. Bumblebee, Hot Rod, time to leave!"

Bumblebee heard Tracey's call while he was struggling with Stinger, so he headbutted him and changed to vehicle form, going for his friend. Bee picked up Dedenne and Max, with Jirachi's rock at hand, while Ratchet picked up Clemont and Hot Rod got Tracey, after retrieving their pokémon.

"Oh just great, they're getting away with our simple request." Knock Out cursed.

"I don't think so." Stinger said before he shot some missiles from his wrist which impacted on the ceiling, causing a cave-in.

"Are you nuts?! You're trying to bury us alive?!"

"I know about sabotage, so those are the proper points to collapse the whole cavern. It will force them to look for another way out, and we will be waiting for them there." Stinger revealed before transforming.

"Huh, you go one step ahead, don't you?"

"Move cool medic, if you want to retain some of your finish! I hope you know how to drive!"

"Oh please, drive fast is one of my specialties!" Knock Out revealed transforming and following him.

As Stinger predicted, the cave-in blocked the tunnel where they came, forcing the Autobots to change direction and look for another exit. They spotted another tunnel heading out of the cavern, but that's where the Decepticons expected them to go. Once there, the Decepticons chased them: Knock Out pulled out the turrets of his car form and fired at the Autobots, but they moved from one side to another dodging the shots, besides Clemont firing from one of Ratchet's windows and Dedenne using Thunder Shock from the other.

"Oh come one, give me at nice angle." Knock Out groaned.

"You call those guns? These are guns." Stinger said pulling out the missile launchers of his sides.

"You have missile launchers?!"

"Uh oh, incoming!" Clemont saw.

"We're almost out!" Hot announced.

Stinger fired six missiles at them, just when they were about to reach the exit. That caused an explosion which sent them flying, Bumblebee, Max and Dedenne deep into the valley while the others were launched to a side. The Decepticons observed it standing at the exit after changing form.

"Well, that wasn't very suitable but it worked." Knock Out opined. "Now what?"

"Isn't it obvious, Doc Knock? We go after the kid with glasses, the one Bumblebee protects." Stinger answered.

"This is no time to get obsessed with a human, and don't call me Doc Knock!"

"Remember how he acted back in the cave, it appears that kid knows that pokémon and is very attached to it. Which means he'll do everything to protect it."

"Well that's obvious, just like the Autobots humans seems to care for their pokémon cohabitants like if they were of their own. Oh, now I get it."

"That's a weak point we can exploit."

Meanwhile, at some distance from there, Ratchet and Hot Rod were lying on the floor before they went back.

"Urg, it has been a long time since I was blasted off like that." Ratchet groaned, but then he noticed the humans next to him. "Oh my. Clemont, Tracey, are you okay?"

"Hmm, I think so." Clemont responded waking up.

"What happened?" Tracey asked.

"We have been sent to other part of the valley because of the Decepticons' explosion. Bumblebee and Max must have been sent to another direction." Hot Rod deduced.

"Max was carrying Jirachi's rock before we exited the cave?" Tracey pointed.

"Then the Decepticons will try to locate them first, and we don't know in what condition they currently are. We need to find them before anyone else." Ratchet assumed.

"I know how to find them. I can track Max's Pokétch signal" Clemont said typing some buttons on his personal terminal of his wrist. "It appears they are into that whole of rock formations, which may be a problem. We could use Venonat's ability to find them faster."

At the same time, inside the maze of rock pillars, Bumblebee covered Max with his hands to prevent him from suffering any damage, like he did with Jirachi's rock.

"Arg, are you okay Max?"

"Yeah. Thanks a lot, Bee. But...where are we? And where are the others?"

"We must have been sent to different locations when those missiles impacted near us at the end of the tunnel." Bumblebee deduced before trying to contact them, but he only heard static. "Scrap, I can't contact with anyone."

"It must be these pillars of rock interfering with our signals."

"Then we will have to find them by our own."

"No problem. Let's roll and we will find them faster."

"Hold on Max, we cannot simply travel in vehicle form like that in an unknown land like this. I'm sure no other vehicles uses to travel this area, so the Cons will know exactly where we are as soon they heard engine noise. We must move silently and carefully if we want to avoid trouble."

"And what next?"

"I guess we will return to base, and search for a safe place on this area where the Cons can't find Jirachi again." Bee said as they started to move.

The duo moved through the maze of rock pillars looking for a way out. After a couple of minutes wandering they heard a familiar sound.

"Hey Bee, is that…?" Max started.

"Car's engine. Quick hide!" He said picking him.

"Why do we need to hide?"

"In case it's not our friends."

They got into a hole big enough for they two, unseen enough to remain undetected and for them to take quick looks. As the sound got louder they looked to see who was. Unfortunately they saw two red sport cars moving slowly between the rocks.

"Why you think they may be in here?" Stinger asked.

"If I was a small human looking to evade bigger things this would be where I would come to hide. Besides, I have enough experiences with humans regarding hide-and-seek." Knock Out answered.

"Hum, it makes sense. At least that mind of yours can be useful sometimes. But we will not find anything like this, we'll have to search by the old fashion way."

Both Decepticons transformed back to robot form and separated.

"Scrap, this is getting worse by the minute. We need to act fast." Bee mumbled before turning at Max. "Max listen, I need you to climb up this pillar the highest you can and once there use whatever you can to signal the others of our position."

"Dedenne could launch an electric attack as beacon."

"Good. I will keep the Cons distracted as long as I can, so hurry up."

Bee took Max and placed him the highest he could in the pillar, letting him to start climbing. Once seeing he was doing fine, the young Autobot went to deal with the Cons. He grabbed a big rock and after sneaking near them he hit the rock against other surfaces, making noise. The tactic was to drag them far from Max and maybe making them lose in the rock formations. Stinger was the closest one to him, and as he predicted followed the noise. Bumblebee continued guiding him between the maze, making sure he didn't spot him. There was a time when he had to move around one pillar slowly as Stinger moved from the other side as well. He managed to evade the Decepticon's field of vision and took the chance to bring another pillar down to block his exit, seeing it looked cracked and weakened. That surprised Stinger, forcing him to jump aside to dodge the whole thing going down, and leaving the place unrecognizable. Bumblebee smiled at seeing his rival fell into his trick unaware that someone approached him from behind, right before his vision turned black. As for Max, he managed to climb to the top of the pillar.

"Whoa, look at this view." He admired as Dedenne got down from his shoulder. "Alright Dedenne, launch a strong Thunder Shock to the sky. It needs to be big so our friends can see it."

Dedenne nodded and launched a lightning which reached out of the area.

"There, now the others will be able to find us."

With his task completed, Max decided to go search for Bumblebee. He opted by jumping on top of the pillars to move through the maze and have a better view of below his feet, to find his friend faster and detect the Decepticons before. When he looked to an area big enough…

"Bee!" Max spotted, seeing his friend lying on a boulder. He looked hurt so Max hurried to get down. "Are you okay? What happened to you?"

"Max...get out...it's a trap." Bee mumbled hardly.

In that moment Knock Out jumped in out of nowhere over Bumblebee.

"And you just walked right into it." The Decepticon medic boasted.

Max heard other laughs next to Knock Out, and Stinger came from behind a pillar. "Humans, no matter how superior they think they are by presuming of their intelligence, there's always a weak link. Now little one, you are a smart kid giving your appearance, so you may know what I'm willing to do with your friend here." Stinger pulled out his plasma cannon and aimed it to Bumblebee's head. "The only thing you need to do to avoid it is giving us that rock."

"Don't do it, Max! He's eager do to it either way!" Bumblebee protested before Knock Out used his electric staff on him.

"No, stop hurting him!" Max demanded.

"It seems you are very linked to the thing inside that rock, as well with this Autobot. You are going to have to make a decision, which one to save: the pokémon or the Autobot?"

Max was now in very drastic situation. Stinger gave him an ultimatum, threatening to exterminate Bumblebee if he didn't surrender Jirachi to them. At the end he couldn't take it anymore.

"Fine, you win! Just...leave Bee alone." Max said, giving up.

At this answer, Stinger retrieved his weapon. "Wise choice."

The Decepticon scout approached Max to take the rock, but before it happened something hit Stinger from behind, sending him against another pillar. It was because of a Hyper Beam, and the responsible one seemed to be a native pokémon, one which Max recognized.

"Flygon!"

The dragon type pokémon landed next to Max, allowing him to ride it and put distance between them and the Decepticons.

"Where did that come from?" Knock Out asked surprised before retrieving his staff and changing his hand for his blaster.

Knock Out fired, but he wasn't exactly the best shooter, since Flygon managed to dodge all the shots before launching another Hyper Beam against him. Knock Out dodged the attack, but that only made him receive a blue laser shot from behind. He turned and saw Clemont and Hot Rod firing at him while Ratchet ran at him before inflicting him a punch in the face, followed by a kick that sent him against a boulder.

"Sorry for the delay, Max."

"No worries Tracey, you arrived just in time."

"And looks like you made another friend." Hot Rod noticed.

"Actually is an old one."

Knock Out got up and proceeded to attack Ratchet with his buzz saws, but Ratchet reacted first changing his hand for something unexpected: some kind of new weapon appeared which fired a blue beam which sent Knock Out to the boulder again.

"What? How is it possible? Isn't that an energon repair ray?" Knock Out recognized in disbelief.

"Originally, but I managed to personalize it aiding a few modifications." Ratchet revealed proud.

"Whoa Ratchet, you made your signature weapon." Clemont expressed amazed.

"It doesn't operates as a weapon only. Observe."

After pressing some buttons on it, Ratchet fired the beam again, this time at Bumblebee. However the effect was totally the opposed, he recovered in no time.

"Thanks for the boost, Ratchet." Bee appreciated pulling out his weapons.

Without knowing it, Dedenne climbed to Knock Out's back and used Thunder Shock, stunning him. Flygon launched Hyper Beam not only at the Decepticons, but at the pillars on which they were below.

"Guys, I think Flygon has an idea. Let's bring down those pillars." Max communicated.

Ratchet, Hot Rod and Bumblebee didn't hesitate and shot at them as well. That caused lots of rocks to fall above the two Decepticons, burying them. Once it was over, Flygon descended, allowing Max to return with his friends.

"Bee, are you okay?" Max asked.

"Yeah, not a scratch, thanks to Ratchet's new toy."

"I'm sorry for what I say. I just wanted them to stop torturing you. Jirachi may be an important pokémon for me, but you are my best friend." Max apologized in tears.

"Hey, relax, I know why you did it. You just wanted to make sure no one ended harmed."

"Optimus would have acted in a similar way like you." Ratchet supported.

"Look. The rock is shinning." Tracey pointed.

Indeed, the rock in which Jirachi was hibernating was emanating a constant shine.

"It wasn't doing that before. Why now?" Hot Rod wondered.

"Wait, let me check something."

Clemont started to register the energy readings on his terminal and after making some modifications got the results.

"What are you doing?" Tracey asked.

"I'm seeing if I can convert these energy readings into communication patterns. To translate what it could mean."

"Like I did with Unicron's spark?" Ratchet recalled.

"Exactly. And I think on this case it's Jirachi."

"Jirachi is speaking?"

"Yeah, and it seems is thanking you, Max. It's happy to see you haven't changed at all."

Max got moved by that revelation. "Can you answer it back?"

"I can try."

"Then tell him that I missed him, never forgetting the good moments we passed together. And I hope it would find another good friend at the moment of waking again. Just like I did." Max expressed looking at Bumblebee.

Clemont didn't need to answer, he received a respond at the moment.

"Looks like it listened."

Suddenly, some of the rocks from the former pillars started to move. Next, Stinger came out in vehicle form, jumping above the group and changing form as he did, grabbing the rock with great precision. He stood in front of them victorious.

"An admirable effort, but useless. The pokémon is ours." Stinger declared triumphant.

"Em, are you sure?" Bumblebee surprisingly said.

"Yeah. Why that reaction?"

Bee signaled Stinger to look at his hand, and when he did he saw the rock was gone. Now back in Max's hands.

"What the…? How did you do that? I'm sure I took it from your hands, I swear it by the Allspark."

Max laughed. "Of course, how did I forget it? Jirachi's Teleport move. That's how it used to do like granting a wish."

"Then I guess our problem is solved. It seems from now on any time you manages to find this pokémon it will relocate immediately to avoid getting caught by you or similar." Ratchet realized.

In that moment Knock Out emerged from the debris as well. "Oh, just perfect! You Autobots like to ruin my paint job, don't you? And now I hear every time we'll get close to catch that pokémon it will disappear? I'm sorry but I've had enough, all this trouble doesn't worth such tiny prize."

"Surprisingly I support you on this, Knock Out. That little rock doesn't looks so valuable at the end, it can stay here for all I care. The generals will understand once we explain it to them, now let's get out of here. Consider this victory as a gift Autobots, because the next one will not be."

With all said, Stinger and Knock Out transformed and drove away.

"Thanks for your support. Make sure it stays safe, it requires a peaceful place to keep sleeping." Max appreciated as he gave Jirachi's rock to Flygon.

The pokémon nodded before it took flight and headed more into the valley.

"It seems we have succeed." Tracey said.

"Maybe, but our job is not done yet. I still need to plant one of Blaster's sensors to keep an eye on future Decepticon incursions on this place." Ratchet corrected as the group started their way back.

"Hey Bee." Max started.

"Yes, Max?"

"Thank you, for being my special friend."

Bumblebee was so touched by his friend's words that he took him on his hand, allowing him to climb to his shoulders and hug his face. That was a very touching moment the two friends shared before catching up with the rest to go back.
