There was a burning building.

Right on Shouta's and Hizashi's rare free-weekend dates.

His husband sends him an apologetic look, places a quick peck on his cheek, and splits off from him to start ushering the civilians away from the brewing commotion in the streets. Shouta completely understands, albeit he's a little disappointed at the events, but he proceeds to the opposite direction to do the same. It was the least they could do outside their hero suits.

Some more helpful people guided the others to the direction Shouta points them to, shouting the same orders leaving the underground hero's mouth. It saves him from half of the job, and Shouta proceeds to push(gently) some of the people himself.

He sees a familiar blonde half bun from the crowds and thinks that he doesn't really want to lose Hizashi in a crowd like this, so when the people are far enough from becoming possible casualties, Shouta starts maneuvering his way to where he last saw his husband.

With a hand tightly gripping onto the capture scarf around his neck in case he needed to use it, Shouta scans the events happening around him as he makes his way back to Hizashi.

This is how he sees the incoming woman before he felt their collision. Shouta smoothly grabs their arms, steadying them as he sees the panic in her eyes.

"Is everything okay, ma'am?" Shouta asks.

"Ah! Please don't touch me-" The woman pushes away from him, and Shouta immediately complies, then she realizes how her words must've sounded to him. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that! My quirk just activates through touch and I'm really overwhelmed right now, I didn't want to-"

Sighing, Shouta interrupts, keeping his voice calm. "It's okay, I understand. Is there anything else bothering you? You seem more troubled than the rest." There is a familiar feeling weighing on his eyelids, feeling even more tired than usual. Was this her quirk?

"My child," She says, panicked, not noticing the way Shouta's figure dimly lights up. "We got separated. I-I can't see them anywhere."

"I'll help you look for them, ma'am, just tell me what they look like. We'll find them." Shouta drawls, blinking his eyes awake.

"They're wearing baggy clothes, it's not hard to spot them. Uhm, black graphic shirt- cargo pants, same hair color as mine!" She recites, looking around as she does so.

"Shou!" Shouta hears his husband call from afar. He turns to Hizashi, holding the hand of a teen beside him, wearing the exact same clothes the woman just told him a few moments prior.

Thank Kami, silver linings.

The woman in front of him follows his gaze and immediately runs to her child when she sees them with his husband. The teen hugs her back, giving a comforting pat along the way.

"Shou? You're glowing." Hizashi says, tilting his head.

Shouta raises an eyebrow at him, not that he's complaining, but surely right now was not really the time to be giving compliments to each other-

"Oh no!" The married couple turns to the woman and her kid. "I'm so sorry! That must've been my quirk! I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay, ma'am, it's okay, we can handle this," Hizashi tries to calm her down. Oh? Was he actually glowing? What the hell? "What's done is done, but it'd really help if we had an idea what the quirk is?"

Shouta finds his eyelids getting heavier, and he leans onto his husband for support. What an interesting, yet annoying quirk.

"Oh!" She halts, "Right, I'm uhm, a therapist actually. And my quirk is Butterfly. It manifests what the person needs the most in their current position in life. I use it to help my clients to guide them towards what they need the most to recover, but I do it with their consent first, of course! That's why I sincerely apologize! I didn't mean to activate it on your partner!"

Shouta slowly blinks, huffing slowly. Manifest the thing he needs the most right now? He vaguely wonders what he'll get from it.

"The result is permanent, it can't be reversed. He'll get his when he falls asleep, don't worry, it's

just a short quirk-induced nap. It's not genuine fatigue." She ends her explanation, her child just watching the three adults converse in front of them.

"Thank you very much, ma'am, you've helped a lot," Hizashi calms the woman down. "I'll deal with him from now on, we'll be alright, you two be safe as well!"

"Are you sure we won't have to come with you when you report it? Just in case?" The woman then turns to her child. "What about you, Hikari?"

"I don't mind." The teen- Hikari, responds, staring at them quietly.

"If you insist," Hizashi says from beside him, just right when Shouta feels his husband's arm wrap around his waist for support. "Do you need me to carry you, Shou?" He asks softly.

Honestly, Shouta would say no. He should say no. But his body's starting to feel very sluggish and even he hasn't experienced this tired before, like the whole world's drowsiness all combined and poured it into him.

Not realizing he's been unresponsive, he barely feels Hizashi scoop him up swiftly before sending a smile to the mother and the teen. "I'm guessing this happens?"

"Yes, I'm.." The woman says applogetically.

"No worries, ma'am! Please call me Yamada, and this is my husband, Aizawa. We'll be together for quite a while." The voice hero introduces himself.

"I'm Akira, but please call us Awase and Hikari to avoid confusion." She says with a half relieved, half stressed smile.

"Of course, Awase-san, Hikari." Hizashi says as he adjusts his hold on his husband.

Shouta does one last blink, his vision blurring before letting out a hum, finally unable to fight the quirk making him unconscious. Hizashi's there, he can sleep. Hizashi would look out for him.

He closes his eyes, and he sleeps.

By the time Shouta wakes up, he feels as if he never slept and sits straight up from the bed. His memories, luckily, didn't take too long to come back to him. He looks around quickly, and realizes that they're in Yuuei. Where's Hizashi?

Oh, there he is.

His husband is settled by the door, sitting on the floor with his head leaning against the wall. The blonde appeared to be sleeping, but Shouta knew it wouldn't take much for him to wake up in that position.

"You're awake."

Shouta freezes, and takes a moment to listen. The voice made him feel like he was missing

something(made him feel incomplete), but it quickly disappears right when they stopped speaking. His head shoots towards the direction of the voice- the unfamiliar voice. He vaguely notes that

Awase and Hikari are beside each other at the corner of the room.

His eyes land on a teenage boy around the same age as his current students, older than the age he

assumed Hikari to be. The boy had nearly the same hair color that Shouta had, but under the light he could see the way it turned dark yellow. His heterochromatic eyes(dark red and dark green- whose kid is this?) stare into Shouta's dark orbs. The boy looked tired, probably as tired as his student Shinsou, but a little worse, and he's now a little concerned about this boy's sleeping schedule.

His attire was a simple plain yellow hoodie that hid half of his black cargo shorts, then he wore black socks nearly reaching his knees with white sneakers.

"Who are you?" Shouta activates Erasure and stares at the teen, glaring as his hair floats upwards.

The teen smirks, and Shouta feels a little unsettled. "That's for you to choose, Shouta."

"What?" What does he mean by that? How did he know his name?

"Do you remember everything?" The dark haired boy asks, still leaning against the wall with his hands in the hoodie pockets, posture relaxed.

"What I don't remember is encountering someone like you before I passed out." Shouta answers. "So you do," The boy only says. "I'll introduce myself then, it's not much though."

They spend another moment just staring at each other, with Shouta's quirk still activated and the smirk finally gone from the teenager's freckled face, replaced with a tired look of his own.

Then the boy sighs, "I don't have a name, I'm simply the manifestation of what'll make your life better, or something."

Shouta blinks.

Then he reeled back from the words, the shock that he felt enough to make him blink, and his quirk deactivates. He just continues to stare at the boy, eyes probably comically wide as it all finally clicks in.

His hair was a mix of black and yellow, his eyes were a dark red and a dark green, and they were so tired, and his whole color scheme was just black and yellow.

Shouta finds himself slowly turning his head away from the amused look on the boy's face, and stares back at where Hizashi was situated, still sleeping despite being a light sleeper.

When Awase said it would manifest something, she didn't say it could also manifest someone. Shouta blinks his eyes open, very slowly. He shoots up from the bed, all the memories from earlier

fresh in his head. He doesn't even remember falling asleep!

"Shouta!" The underground hero looks at Hizashi, who looks relieved and a little bit helpless at the same time.

"You're finally awake," Awase says from her spot. And then, sheepishly, she hums. "Uhm.. This never happened before, I didn't know my quirk could manifest a whole new person." She seems calmer right now than earlier, which Shouta's thankful for.

Hikari was sitting beside the boy, both of them writing down on one sheet of paper while a whole pad is settled beside the.. manifestation.

He really needs a name.

Will Shouta have to be the one to name him?

Ugh. He wants to take a nap. Again.

"Shouta, he looks like.." Hizashi murmurs from beside him, his eyes locked onto the teenager from the other side of the room.

"Like us. Combined." Shouta continues, his voice still gravelly from sleep.

"Does this mean we have a child now? Didn't you say this was permanent, Awase-san?" Hizashi asks the therapist, who looks more and more apologetic the by the end of his husband's question.

She nods slowly, bowing her head down. "I am.. so, so sorry, Yamada-san, Aizawa-san. This was the only case I had where a human manifested." She says.

"No! It's not your fault, Awase-san, we'll just need to figure it out from here, yeah?" Hizashi says, trying to cheer everyone up, but even his smile looked a little strained and unsure.

Shouta sees movement from the corner of his eye, and he turns to see the dark haired teen approaching them all, with Hikari quietly following from behind.

"I still need a name." The boy signs- he knew how to sign?- with the same tired look on his face. "Right! Shou, it felt wrong giving him a name when he.. originally came from you. So we waited

for you to wake up!" Hizashi says, nudging his husband's arm.

Shouta doesn't really know what to do right now, but.. "When did you learn sign?"

The boy looks at him in a deadpan and signs, "That's your concern? Whatever. I'm a manifestation to make your life better, you think I'll be doing that if I made both of you stress with having me learn sign language?"

"As if having a child all of a sudden isn't stressful at all." Shouta grumbles. Hopefully Awase didn't hear that, he wasn't blaming her, he swears, everything's just fucking weird right now.

Thankfully, only the boy heard it, "The only thing you gotta worry about is my quirk," His hands pause, and then he tilts his head. "And my name."

"What's your quirk, little listener?" Hizashi asks after translating the gist of it for the Akira's.

"I erase the quirks of the people in my sight range when I speak. The louder I speak, the farther the

range."

Shouta's eyes widen, and he sees Hizashi's sparkling just a little bit. It was a perfect combination of both of their quirks, and when Hizashi shares it to the Akira's, he finds them agreeing, guessing by their amazed smile(Awase) and their look of approval(Hikari).

He only wonders why the boy looked like a mixed version of him and Hizashi. Was that implying something?

Surely it was, but Shouta won't think about it for now.

Anyway. Right, the boy needs a name.

"Do you have any ideas what you want your name to be?" Shouta asks.

The boy(Kami, Shouta is so tired of referring to him as 'the boy') looks at the side as he tilts his head, contemplating. Then he looks back at Shouta before shaking his head with a cheeky grin.

Fuck. Alright, it's all up to him then.

Hmm..

Shouta takes his time, slowly observing the boy, thinking of a name that could fit him. The teen only stares at him with a funny look, and then he rapidly signs, "Don't you dare name me after a color."

Hizashi lets out a snort, and Shouta huffs, but he's still more focused on giving the boy a name. Hmm..

Shouta slowly stares at Hizashi, who only stares at him back with confusion on his face. At the side, the Akira's along with the teen all watch the interaction with undisguised curiosity.

Yamada Hizashi. Aizawa Shouta. Hizashi.

Aizawa.

Shouta.

Yamada.

Hizashi.

Aizawa Shouta.

Shouta slowly turns back to the boy, who's still looking at him with a blank look. He lets out a small hum as he thinks.

I. Z. S. H. A.

Now, Shouta has no idea why he's thinking so hard over this, but when he looks at the manifestation in front of him, there's just a feeling that makes Shouta consider this decision really closely. If the boy was meant to be with them forever, then he should just make as many connections of his name with theirs.

Shouta. Hizashi. I. Z. A.

Aizawa.

I. Z.

He wants the boy to have his own first letter, anyway. Iz it is. Now... if he could just think of a name with Iz.

Hmm..

"Izuku." The name rolls off his tongue smoothly, and Shouta finds that it feels right.

He looks at the boy- Izuku, and right when he does, Izuku's body glows, and somehow he looked so much real than a few moments prior. Was this also part of Awase's quirk?

"That actually sounds nice, surprisingly," The- Izuku signs, and the smile on his face is still tired, but more shy and genuine, and Shouta finds himself preferring this smile over his previous smirks and grins. "Thank you, Shouta." Izuku signs meekly, looking down at his feet.

Before Shouta could respond, two arms wrap around him and Hizashi lays his weight over him. "Shou! That's so cute! I love it, I love Izuku!" The blush on Izuku's cheeks remains unhidden, and the way he ducks his head to his shoulders reminds Shouta of the way he himself hides his reddening ears under his capture scarf.

They have the same mannerisms, and Shouta finds it endearing.

"I'm so glad you were able to give him a name," Awase smiles kindly, a happy glint in her eyes. "I guess there aren't any more problems for now? I wish you the best, and you can call me if you need anything!"

"Thank you so much, Awase-san, I'm starting to see how your quirk helps now." Hizashi cheekily says, cackling when they hear Izuku huff and turn around, hiding behind Hikari despite the boy only being an inch taller than him. His friend only chuckles along with them, giving Izuku a hair ruffle.

His husband sees this, and he speaks, "We can call and have Hikari hang around with Izuku, too!" Hikari's eyes widen and he turns to Izuku with a smile. "I'd like that, thank you." He softly says. For someone who's supposed to be the combination of Shouta and Hizashi, Izuku sure is tiny.

"Anyway, now that that's done," Hizashi starts, "Recovery Girl said we could just leave this place whenever we can. Nezu is already informed of what happened, and I'm sure he knows more than enough, so we have nothing to worry about!" He explains, tuning in his inner Present Mic as he speaks.

Shouta stands up from the bed and stretches his body, ignoring Izuku's snort and Hikari's silent chuckles when a number of his joints pop. Meanwhile, Hizashi offers the Akira's a ride home, and they may have noticed that the blonde wasn't going to take a 'no' for an answer, so they eventually gave in.

The hallways to the way out are empty save for some other staffs working on some papers, given that it was a weekend after all. Shouta walks behind the group, watching as his husband asks Awase more about their family, while Izuku had eventually started teaching Hikari a little bit of sign language.

Apparently, they also took the pads of paper with them, so they didn't have any trouble communicating with each other whenever Hikari had something to say. The teen was softer around the edges, speaking in mumbles and letting out huffs of air when they laugh. The sight is adorable, and Shouta's glad that Izuku had made a friend.

Kami, he sounds like a dad.

...He technically was, wasn't he?

Turns out, having a teenager who never really existed in the first place was easy to settle into your home, with them not having any expectations and all that. Izuku acts like any other teenager that lived since they were born, but Shouta guessed it made sense, Izuku is a teenager after all, one without the experience of a childhood.

Izuku wasn't a picky person, and while he didn't really care about the guest room of their home being nearly empty aside from a bed, a bedside table, and a closet, he has a certain pick for the clothes he wears, although most of them consisted of hoodies and oversized clothes, almost like Hikari's choice of clothing.

The teen was as easygoing as Hizashi was with everything that's happening, and Kami, Shouta feels like this Saturday has been going on for way too long, but Izuku somehow makes it easier with his relaxed attitude, acting like he's known the married couple for years.

Was Shouta supposed to treat Izuku as his son? How does Izuku even feel about them?

"If everything's been a little overwhelming for you, you can spend a little time alone in your room, listener." Hizashi says when they stop by the living room.

"I'm fine, thanks, it seems more like you guys are the ones overwhelmed." Izuku signs, an amused look on his face.

Hizashi huffs, but he doesn't deny anything. Shouta won't deny it, either. It looks like Izuku understands, and he simply smiles before waving, walking away to retreat into his new room.

"Izuku?" Hizashi calls before the boy disappears. Izuku turns around, his tired eyes staring at Shouta's husband expectantly. "You know you can talk around us, right? You can speak here, we don't mind having our quirks erased." He says with a gentle voice.

Shouta sees those heterochromatic eyes widen just a tiny bit, and he remembers his own reaction when Hizashi first told him how he didn't find his quirk villainous when they first met.

The resemblance is uncanny, it's almost like Shouta's watching a flashback of his own.

Izuku raises his hands to answer, but he stops, his eyes drifting over to Shouta. Without hesitation, the underground hero nods his head, telling him that he agrees with his husband's words. When Izuku sees this, he slowly lowers his hands down, and then he opens his mouth.

"Thanks." He says, and Shouta feels the feeling he felt when he first heard Izuku speak, the feeling of something missing from him. But this time, instead of feeling uneasy, he simply accepts the way his quirk factor becomes idle, making sure not to show any different reaction just in case it could set Izuku on edge.

It's a new feeling to get used to, he guesses.

Hizashi beams from beside him, walking over to ruffle Izuku's hair, and Shouta grins at the way the boy lets out a strangled yet flustered sound while his husband simply laughs.

"We can go shopping tomorrow for your clothes and stuff, listener, that okay?" Hizashi asks. Izuku's hands twitch to move, but he stops them in time and answers with his voice. "Sure."

It makes Hizashi smile brighter, and Izuku subtly looks away from the blonde, a tint of pink on his cheeks. Shouta grins smugly, that's right, he's so bright, isn't he?

Izuku makes eye contact with him and rolls his eyes, in return, Shouta raises an eyebrow at him in a challenge. The teen squints at him, and then yawns before turning around to finally go to his room. Shouta has no idea what just happened, but he's also tired and he can feel his own yawn coming, so he just lets the kid leave.

When Izuku disappears, Hizashi immediately laces his fingers through his and pulls him along to their room. Shouta doesn't waste any more time before climbing onto the bed before tucking himself in. Beside him, Hizashi does the same.

The silence around them lasts for a few more seconds until his husband decides to speak.

"I feel like we aren't supposed to be this calm considering we just randomly got a kid out of nowhere," Hizashi murmurs into the silence of the room. "Shou, are we even ready for this?"

"Izuku seems like a teenager we can trust," Shouta says instead, answering indirectly. "Just like Awase-san said, he's there to make our life better, or something."

"How literal should we take her words for?" Hizashi asks, a joking tone in his voice. "..Does this mean you've been wanting a kid, Shou?"

Shouta ends up smacking his husband on the arm, causing Hizashi to let out a cackle, but he has a blush on his cheeks, and Shouta's certain he had one as well, if not redder.

"But.." Shouta slowly starts, trying to find the right words to describe his gut feeling. "..I feel like this would help us a lot, Zashi. I have a feeling it would be worth all the shock."

"Me too, Shou. The shock and so much more," Hizashi nuzzles into Shouta's hair, trapping the dark haired man in his arms. "And I get to witness my Shou being a dad. And I also get to be a dad!" He cheers.

"Shut it," Shouta groans, tucking his face onto Hizashi's neck. The blonde only laughs, what a bastard, but the vibration of his husband's chest makes Shouta's heart flutter like it always did all those years ago. "Wake me up before dinner."

"Of course, love," Hizashi says, planting a soft kiss on the crown of Shouta's head. "Sleep well." Shouta hums, and finds himself easily succumbing to sleep.

What a long day.

And it wasn't even finished yet.

Last night's dinner wasn't awkward, thankfully. Izuku was kind(not) enough to initiate small talk, but Shouta had to live with hearing Hizashi sharing embarrassing stories about him with the boy. And of course Shouta had to counter, so they ended up getting competitive with whoever had the most embarrassing story to share about each other. In the end, Izuku felt the most victorious.

Oh well, at least the boy was getting comfortable, and with that the married couple find themselves warming up to the teen as well.

Then the following conversation wasn't too.. happy, perhaps. It's still stuck on Shouta's mind as he

trails behind Hizashi and Izuku looking through the clothing shops one by one, specifically ones that had simple printed loose shirts and hoodies to sweaters.

He watches Izuku blush under the massive shower of compliments Hizashi gives him as he tries another outfit.

("Are you okay, Izuku?"

"Yeah.. I just- I'm curious what life I would have lived if I was actually a person, instead of being a

manifestation- not that I'm ungrateful for being alive like this! But, you know-")

Izuku makes eye contact with Shouta and the underground hero nods his head in approval, resulting to the brightest grin Izuku had ever showed this whole trip. It causes some type of warmth to engulf Shouta's chest.

He wants to see it more.

"I'm getting more black and yellow stuff!" Izuku signs to him, the bumblebee colored sweater nearly swallowing him. How is this kid going to look taller if the clothes he prefers keep making him look even smaller?

"Go wild, kid." Shouta says, planting a hand on the boy's dark curls. Izuku's tired eyes look brighter today, especially as he leans up into the man's touch.

"Are there any more that you want to buy here, baby listener?" Hizashi asks, the nickname slipping off of his tongue naturally. Izuku doesn't even react at the name, instead he excitedly shakes his head no before clutching onto Hizashi's tucked polo shirt and his other hand on Shouta's black sleeve.

It's not adorable, it's not.

With the devastated look Hizashi secretly shoots him above Izuku's head, Shouta knows he disagrees.

("You're as human as us, listener, you just came to this world differently, but that doesn't mean you're any less than us. You'll be our.. son, if you're okay with that, of course! You're ours, and we'll be yours, okay?"

"I'll always be yours, Hizashi , Shouta ," A pause. "Why'd you accept me so easily? I'm like, a huge cause of change in your lives."

"I think we've had enough life changes that we got used to it, Problem Child.")

Izuku raises a brow at them in question, looking a little sassy with the way his face rested blankly, truly like one of Shouta's daily expressions. He's glad that Izuku didn't completely take after his dry personality and also got mixed with Hizashi's cheekiness, even though it may have made their kid turn out to be a little bit of a brat.

A cute, shy, endearing brat. Izuku still had his own unique traits, after all.

The teen between them shoots both of them some suspicious looks and the grips on their clothing tightens a little, but then Izuku loosens them again before letting out a small huff. Shouta guessed he was probably about to ask whatever they were talking about, fortunately not, he'd prefer not to let Izuku know he finds him adorable.

Not now, at least, that's too embarrassing, even if he really didn't have much left of his reputation to keep up with the boy.

"Let's get walking, Problem Child." Shouta grumbles, earning an eye roll from the boy. The audacity.

("Listen, kid. Just because you're a manifestation doesn't mean that that's your only purpose here. You're still your own person, a combination of two people or not, and we want you to live a life of your own. Think of this as a chance to live, or whatever.")

Now that Shouta thought about it, that was one of the not so rare times he realizes that there are other people who were just lucky enough to be alive.

Izuku was one of them.

("Thank you, Shouta, Hizashi," He pauses. "I'm so glad I happened."

Honestly, the more they spent time together, the more Shouta's finding himself agreeing.)

Anyway. It's been hours since they've been wandering around the mall. Shouta's glad he brought two large ecobags, both successfully full, and he could see how Izuku was starting to get drained from the people and the walking, Hizashi notices as well.

"We could grab lunch and head home after, I think that's enough for now!" Hizashi says, reaching out to swipe Izuku's bangs away from his forehead, smiling gently at the tired doe eyes looking at him. "We'll get more some other time, yeah?"

Izuku closes his eyes and leans against the hand on his forehead, humming. "Shouta has never felt this tired before, am I that bad?" Hizashi asks.

"I'm just good at keeping up, Zashi." Shouta says under his capture weapon, rubbing a hand on Izuku's back. What a clingy child.

"You're admitting to it!?" Hizashi gasps, scandalized.

The blonde's mouth open wider when Shouta only sends him a grin, and it softens just a little bit

when they both hear Izuku's near-silent giggle.

Shouta wouldn't mind doing this again from time to time.

"We're hooooome!" Hizashi yells right when they open the door, and two synchronized meows immediately start errupting from inside, growing louder the closer they get to the family.

"Hi Poof, Foop," Izuku coos silently, his quirk not affecting the two heroes as they aren't in the kid's vision. "Are you hungry? Don't worry princes, you'll get your food soon, Papa Shou will get them for you."

"Brat." Shouta grumbles halfheartedly as he steps into the living room before proceeding to the kitchen. The kid wasn't wrong anyway. He fully ignores his husband's snort from the living room.

"Baby listener! Come on, let's put your clothes in the closet!" Shouta hears Hizashi's voice from the living room, followed by a small, "Hold up!" from Izuku before shuffling is heard.

"Shou! We'll be in his room!" Hizashi calls.

"Hn." Shouta grunts in reply, more focused on pouring cat food into the bowls. Soon enough, he pours some milk in a separate bowl before running his fingers through the two hungry felines. He doesn't stay there for too long, standing up from his position before walking to Izuku's room.

The two males are moving smoothly with each other. Hizashi was busy hanging some jackets, flannels, and polo shirts while Izuku folds his undergarments, shorts, and rolls three belts.

Shouta quickly claims his role as removing the clothes from the paper bags, handing the shorts and house shirts to Izuku while giving the outdoor outfits to Hizashi. Eventually, Shouta also starts unboxing the three pairs of Izuku's shoes.

They do this just for a while, successfully finishing before an hour passes, with Shouta folding the last paper bag and putting it inside one of the ecobags.

"Next time, we're buying you more colors." Hizashi states from the closet, and Shouta looks over to see the said accessory filled with black, yellow, and white. He could barely see the few blues, oranges, and pinks.

Izuku sleepily giggles on the bed, swinging his feet. They see the sun setting from Izuku's bedroom window.

"Let's just order some food?" Hizashi asks.

Shouts grunts tiredly, leaning against the wall behind him. Izuku lays on his bed and ends up with some of his curls brushing Shouta's leg, and the man couldn't help but reach out to run his fingers through Izuku's hair. The dark haired boy lets out a satisfied hum, closing his eyes right after.

There is a sound of something clicking, but Shouta decides to let that slide this time.

When dinner arrives and Shouta finally wakes Izuku up from his nap, they both emerge from the boy's room and heads to the kitchen to see Hizashi setting the food up on his own.

"Sleep good?" Hizashi asks Izuku. The teen only grunts weakly, still leaning onto Shouta for support. Shouta huffs.

They eat dinner silently, or simply with Hizashi filling in the silence with random stories and rants while Shouta responds from time to time. The longer they eat, the more Izuku gains coherence from his nap.

When he looked conscious enough, Shouta decides to start speaking. "You up for a talk, kid?"

"'Bout what?" Izuku asks.

"School, honey," Hizashi answers for him. "Nothing heavy, though!"

"Mm, ha?" Izuku slurs, his voice still a little hoarse from sleep. "When I told you you had nothin' to worry about 'cept for my quirk 'n name, I meant that lit'rally."

"You mean..?" Shouta trails off.

Izuku takes a sip of his water before answering. "I'm caught up with the current learning material for students around my age."

Hizashi stares at Shouta with wide eyes, and then he turns to Izuku with a sparkle in them. "That's great, baby!" He cheers, the nickname causing another flush to fill Izuku's cheeks. Shouta smirks amusedly.

"That does make it easier," He intervenes. "Zashi told me that Nezu's been updated about the situation thanks to Recover Girl. It's risky for pro heroes to have a child, so he wanted to provide as much protection as he could."

"And that means..?" Izuku asks, tilting his head.

Shouta gives him a sharp grin. "Since it's just the start of the second semester, it won't be too late to put you in the course you want to be in," He pauses, arranging his thoughts. "There's an empty spot in the Hero course, specifically my class. The Support and Business courses would appreciate new students, and Gen-Ed is where Zashi teaches, he'd absolutely love to teach you." He finishes.

"Very right at the last one!" Hizashi interrupts. "But you don't have to make the decision right away, baby listener! If you'd like, you could check out the classes for the next few days!"

"I think tomorrow's enough to have me check the courses," Izuku says. "Unless I'm not allowed to wander around on my own and barge into classes at random?"

Hizashi opens his mouth, then closes it again. "Hm." He hums, wondering.

Shouta gets a notification on his phone at the same time, and he has a feeling he knows who this would be. He reaches for his phone to check the notification, and sees exactly what he expected.

Shouta lets out a tired sigh and puts his phone back into his pocket. He'll deal with hell tomorrow. "Nezu said you're allowed to, just don't cause problems." He squints at Izuku. If he knew himself

and Hizashi well, Izuku would be twice as mischievous as them. He doesn't think he's ready for it.

The smirk on Izuku's face makes him look so much like Shouta in his Logical Ruses persona that he already gave up wishing for a peaceful Monday.

"Rise and shine, father figures!"

Hn.

Wait, father what-

"Izu, b'by, it's too early for this." Shouta recognizes the voice of his husband grumbling to the kid. "Well, yeah, of course. It's Monday." Izuku says.

Somehow, that nearly sounded like a line in a horror movie.

Izuku's wearing nearly the exact same attire as last Saturday, except for the fact that his cargo shorts were simple yellow sports shorts with two black parallel stripes at the sides, and his yellow hoodie was now a black one with a bee print at the front. He strangely has a thing for long black socks that reached until underneath his knees accompanied with the same white sneakers he wore last weekend.

Shouta won't comment on it, it fits him anyway. He's not really one to judge either, Hizashi was more fashionable among the both of them.

"Izuku," The boy turns towards him as they enter the car. "Permission granted to deck someone in the face if it comes down to it."

"Shou!" Hizashi chastises from the driver's seat.

"Thanks, Papa Shou." Izuku says with a teasing lilt to his voice, using the nickname he uses to refer to him when talking to the cats.

"Baby, please try not to deck someone, yeah?" Hizashi says, a slightly strained smile on his face.

"No promises, Papa Zashi." Izuku tilts his head and leans it against the window, closing his eyes, most probably to rest them some more.

Shouta watches Hizashi turn back to the road while a sigh escapes his lips, but there's a smile on his face that contrasts the action. "That's the best I'm gonna get, aren't I? What course does our baby plan on checking out first?" He asks.

He hears Izuku's voice from behind them. "I'm not really interested in the Business course, it doesn't fit me. I may or may not want to focus on the Support and Hero course..?" Izuku says, almost shy.

"Interesting! But that means I won't get to see you every morning then." Hizashi pouts.

"Hizashi, you'll literally drive me to school and back, that's kind of the least of your worries." Izuku deadpans.

"You're right, but Shouta would see you more and that's unfair! I need something to balance it out!" Hizashi complains, but there's a glint in his eye that Shouta finds suspicious.

The corner of his lips turn upward when he hears the exasperated sigh(which sounds unnervingly familiar to Shouta) from Izuku. "What do you want?"

"A hug! Every time before we go our separate ways!" Hizashi winks at the mirror. "And one more big hug when the day ends!"

"That's.. that's all?" Izuku asks carefully.

"I mean, if you'd like to offer more I don't really mind." Hizashi says with a cheeky grin. Shouta's smiling at the interaction now.

"I'll give you an extra hug every lunch break." Izuku mumbles, but within the closed area of the car, his words are easily heard.

The gasp Hizashi lets out is as dramatic as he can let it be. "IZUUuuu!!" Shouta activates Erasure automatically to avoid his husband from accidentally breaking their car windows.

When Hizashi finally settles into driving silently, Shouta is the one who breaks the silence. "Do I get anything as well?" He asks, his voice coming out more teasingly than curious.

He hears Izuku huff, "Does the fact that I call you Dad in my head compensate?"

...What.

Shouta had to stop himself from whipping his head around to look at Izuku, and instead he freezes on his seat. He vaguely hears Hizashi's loud gasp from beside him but he couldn't find himself to turn to him.

"That is so much more than hugs every greeting, Shou!" Hizashi whines. "Does he get privileges because you came from him!?"

"First, that souds so wrong, don't say that again," Izuku groans. "Second, Shouta's Dad, and you're Papa.." Shouta hears his voice trail off, growing quieter as he finished his words. "Should I call you that out loud?"

"Okay, that's enough, he's going to start crying while driving." Shouta grumbles, still a little shocked from the revelation. He looks at the mirror and sees the slightly smug look on Izuku's face, and he finds himself scoffing halfheartedly. Shouta tucks his head in the comfort of his capture scarf to hide his pink cheeks.

The sound of Hizashi's sniffles along with Izuku's cheerful giggles were enough to make Shouta's day.

When they arrived at Yuuei, Shouta didn't expect Izuku to stick by Hizashi's side(quite literally, they had one arm around each other) as they headed towards the faculty room, although Shouta didn't know what else he should've expected, really.

"The courses are so boring," Izuku huffs. "Okay- I ended up checking the Business course as well, just in case it could've sparked some- I don't know, something in me. But nothing, so I went to Gen-Ed," Izuku rambles on, showing more of his inherited Hizashi traits. "And it's even more boring!-"

"Hey!" Hizashi interrupts, offended.

The greenette completely ignores the blonde and continues speaking. "-Nothing really happened. Anyway, I might have enjoyed the Support course a little, but I don't think I would be able to handle explosions every day. They also have that one pink-haired girl I do not have the energy to deal with every day as well." Izuku grumbles, leaning against the vacant desk he occupied in Class 1-C's currently empty classroom.

Shouta snorts, he knows exactly who the boy was pertaining to. Hatsume may have already caused a number of explosions around his students during the first semester.

He may or may not have been avoiding her as well. She's Power Loader's Problem Child, not his.

Hizashi cackles. "Then, does that mean what I think you mean?" His husband asks with a cheeky grin as he directs his gaze to Shouta.

Izuku's heterochromatic eyes sparkle in mischief, a smirk slowly building up on his face. "I'm gonna make Shouta's life a living hell."

"Isn't that the opposite of what you came here for." Shouta says, more of a deadpan than a genuine question. He huffs when he hears Izuku's evil(tiny) giggles, not able to deny the growing warmth in his chest at the bubbly sound.

"But I do want to be in the Hero course," Izuku says, this time with his voice filled with determination and seriousness. "I know it's ironic because it'll be more chaotic than Support, but I want to.. I want to help people. I wanna be like Da- Shouta! I wanna be like Zashi, too, but my quirk isn't suited for overground heroics.."

Shouta's heart pounds a little harder at the near slip up, and ignoring all the words Izuku just said, he blurts out. "You can call me Dad, kid. I don't mind."

"I- That's what you got from all of that?" Izuku sputters, his freckled cheeks slowly turning pink. But then he chuckles, shrinking shyly into himself. "Okay.. Dad."

"Aww! Our kid wants be just like us, Shou!" Hizashi exclaims with a wavering voice, his eyes beginning to burn with tears. "Be whatever you wanna be, Izu, I'll be your number one fan!"

"Thanks, Pa." Izuku murmurs, now completely melted on the desk.

And Hizashi finally bursts into tears.

Shouta sighs, but he's smiling and he walks closer to this newly formed family and ruffles Izuku's hair, while Hizashi walks around his own desk to wrap his arms around the boy, planting a big kiss on Izuku's cheek. "So precious, my baby." Hizashi cries softly and leans his head on Izuku's.

Izuku laughs and stares up at Shouta, only for the boy to receive one of the softest looks the man could show, strictly reserved for the most special people in his life.

It seems like the boy in front of him was starting to climb up into that small list. Shouta doesn't mind that, either.

"Good day, Izuku-kun! It's nice to finally meet you." The stoat greets. Izuku bows politely. "Mornin', Nezu-san."

"Call me sensei! Would you be interested in taking an intelligence test under my handle, Izuku- kun?" Nezu asks, a wide smile on his face as he inspects the child in front of him.

"Uhm, no thanks. I'm not that smart, just the right amount to be able to catch up.." The dark haired boy mumbles.

"I find myself doubting that, Izuku-kun! You're a mix of Hizashi-kun and Shouta-kun, are you not? Surely you've got the intelligence of your fathers as well, especially Hizashi-kun's!" Nezu says, pulling out the boy's uniform for the next day before placing it on his desk. "I'll let you think about it, feel free to take your time! That's all, wishing you the best of luck in the Hero course! I also suggest thinking of a costume design as soon as possible, Izuku-kun."

"I- Okay, I'll think about it. Thank you, Nezu-sa- Nezu-sensei." Izuku blinks before grabbing the case of his uniform before swiftly turning around to walk out of the office.

(Shouta's there, standing by the door outside, and he raises an eyebrow at his kid. "Did he try to rope you into anything? You took way longer for someone who's just getting their uniforms."

"Uh," Izuku intelligently starts. "He said something about an intelligence test." "Please tell me you said no." Shouta immediately says, almost desperate.

"I did, he told me to think about it," Izuku tilts his head. "I'm thinking about it," He pauses. "Should I?"

Shouta shakes his head. "Don't."

Izuku's too young for planning world domination.)

The next day, Izuku's wearing none of his usual black and yellow themed clothes. Instead, he's wearing Yuuei's Hero course uniform, but this time he's wearing a black and yellow colored backpack with three pins on it; one Present Mic, one custom made Eraserhead, and a black one with multiple white-lined cat doodles on it.

He's also wearing a light yellow scarf with black thin stripes for the autumn season, so there's that for his color scheme.

"Looking good, baby listener!" Hizashi cheers, gently poking Izuku's cheek once. He laughs at Izuku's frown. "Sorry! Can't help it!"

"Let's go," Shouta says, before taking in Izuku's current look. "It fits you, Problem Child."

He knows Izuku's about to say something like 'it's a uniform, nothing special', but then he reconsiders his words, blinks, and then huffs. "Thanks, Dad. Pa, stop poking my cheek."

Hizashi places a kiss on Izuku's hair despite the teen's grumbling. "You're just so squishy, baby listener," Then he leans away and starts walking to the car with a skip in his step. "Let's go!"

Shouta and Izuku shares a fond look with each other before following from behind.

After a car ride filled with Hizashi's sing-along with the radio and Izuku's content, quiet humming(a harmonization that Shouta never knew he needed), they arrive at the campus, not encountering any other students in the entrance as they used the faculty entrance than the main gate.

"Are you ready, Izu?" Hizashi asks with an arm on the boy's shoulders.

"Dunno." Izuku shortly answers, switching to sign when they see a fellow teacher in the distance. Shouta nearly forgot about Izuku's quirk, since he's slowly starting to get used to the feeling of his quirk being absent.

"You'll do great, I'm sure." The blonde sways both of them together before pulling away. "What do I use for my last name?" Izuku asks, and Shouta perks up at the question. Right, they honestly forgot about that small problem.

"How about A-I-Y-A-M-A?" Izuku asks, spelling the name out.

Oh, the problem's solved right away.

"That works," Shouta answers, humming. It would also save them the problem of having to explain to prying teens about how Izuku suddenly appeared in their class before declaring he's Shouta's son. "We should decide on your sign name."

"Oh, oh! I have the perfect idea for that one." Hizashi says, ushering the two other males to look at him.

Slowly, he simply does the Sign for black and yellow with the hand forming the I syllable. Izuku stares at Hizashi with a blank look before signing, "You.. named me after a color." "Two colors!" Hizashi exclaims.

"Still." Izuku rolls his eyes. Shouta snorts.

"What about this?" Hizashi asks again before doing the Sign of bee, also with the I syllable halfway through the motion. "It's black and yellow, and Izuku's tiny, but he can sting!"

Izuku wordlessly smacks Hizashi by the arm, but there is a wide smile on his face that shows he likes the name more than the previous one. The blonde cackles, and Shouta's mildly busy practicing the name by himself.

"It works. Is that okay enough for you, Izuku?" Shouta asks.

The boy nods his head rapidly with the smile still on his face, "Good enough. So we can go now?"

"Yeah, let's go now." Shouta says, and then he feels Izuku's shy clutch on his black sleeve once more, causing the warm feeling to grow back in his chest.

They hear Izuku's quiet mumble of, "Thanks, Pa." Mindful of his quirk, but Hizashi still beams at the evident happiness heavily laced in the boy's quiet tone.

"Of course, baby listener!"

"Are those one of your students? Are we near?" Izuku asks both questions as they walk towards the giant door of Class 1-A. Ever since they dropped Hizashi off in 1-C, Izuku had ended up nearly clinging unto Shouta's arm, both hands gripping on the hem of the underground hero's sleeve.

(Was it only him who feels an intense sense of protectiveness whenever Izuku does that? No,

Shouta could one-hundred percent guess that Hizashi feels the same way.)

"Yes, they're both my students." Shouta answers, watching as Ashido and Kaminari rush towards their room, where Sero disappears by the doorframe. They're always arriving a few minutes before the bell rings.

"I can't believe they didn't sense us behind them." Izuku giggles quietly, releasing Shouta from his hold when the last two students of the class enter the room, speed-walking the rest of the way to the door. Shouta silently mourns the warmth of the two tiny hands from his wrist, but continues walking the same pace as always.

The bell rings right when Shouta reaches the door, sending a light ruffle on Izuku's curls before shushing him. "Wait for your cue."

"Yes, Dad." Izuku does a lazy salute, smirking.

"It's sensei in this place, Problem Child." Shouta huffs, and doesn't give Izuku any chance to respond before he slides the door open.

The class is already fixed on their seats, having experienced this exact same situation for multiple times already. Shouta releases a breath through his nose, internally nodding in approval at the silence.

"We have a new student today." Shouta bluntly says, anticipating the class's reaction.

As predicted, the noisy ones(mostly Ashido and Kaminari, followed by Hagakure, Uraraka, Sero, and Kirishima) start asking questions while the less vocal students start mumbling among themselves. There are the ones who only straightens up at the mention of a potential rival(for instance; Bakugou, Shinsou, Yaoyorozu, and Todoroki) and finally Iida who's simply trying his best to calm the chaos down.

Shouta spends one moment in amusement before sighing and flashing his quirk. Immediately, the class calms down and settles on their seats.

"He'll be the new Student 18. Don't overwhelm him," Shouta says, a little sterner than usual. "Come in, kid."

He watches Izuku walk in the room with both hands gripping on his backpack, his tired stare glancing at the rest of the class as he stands beside Shouta.

Izuku always looks tired.

At least the other kids were excited.

Shouta gives him one last side-eye before he hears Izuku mutter beneath his scarf.

"They look like they need to take a shit."

Shouta does his best to hold the snort in.

Unfortunately, Jirou and Shouji weren't able to do the same. The earphone jacked girl lets out her own snort, confusing the entire class, and they also see Shouji's upper body curl in in shock.

"What? Did he say something?" Kirishima asked, confused.

"I like him already." Jirou grins, providing no context whatsoever.

Shouta clears his throat. "This is Aiyama Izuku, he'll be joining us for the rest and upcoming school years in the Hero course."

He watches the whole class turn to Izuku in anticipation, only for the boy to greet them with a lazy wave.

"Oh Kami," Uraraka says. "Please don't let him be another one of those Not-Here-To-Make-Friends people."

Izuku tilts his head, confused.

"I don't think he is, kero." Asui says.

"Let him take his seat before you start bombarding him with your questions." Shouta grumbles. Izuku takes this as his cue to walk towards the only seat left empty right in between Shinsou and Bakugou.

The whole class is just looking at him excitedly while Izuku settles on his seat, waiting for the go- ahead to start drowning his son in their friendship. Shouta sighs, and he finally relents, "You have thirteen minutes left of Homeroom, don't make any noise."

With that, the class erupts into cheers and a few of them start crowding around Izuku. Shouta makes eye contact with the kid one last time and almost huffs at the clear call for help in Izuku's tired eyes.

Shouta slips out of the room right when he hears Ashido scream, "I CALL DIBS ON HIM!" She really didn't.

Shouta called it first.

(Hizashi obviously did it second.)

Bonus:

Izuku has no idea what to do with the situation he's in right now.

"Aiyama Izuku, right!?" The brunette asked. "I'm Uraraka Ochako, nice to meet you!"

"I'm Iida Tenya! The class president of Class 1-A! I hope to be of assistance to you as a leader and as a friend in the future, Aiyama-san!" The robotic boy with glasses introduces himself, his arm swiftly making chopping motions repeatedly.

"Bro! You got those cool eyes like Todoroki! So manly!" Izuku hears the red haired boy speak, smiling widely to show his sharp teeth.

Okay, wow. That's something Izuku would like to not touch, ever, thanks.

"Uhm-" Izuku tries to speak, but he's cut off by a girl with her hair in a black ponytail.

"Greetings, Aiyama-san. I am Yaoyorozu Momo, the class vice president. Please call me Yaomomo or Momo for short." The girl sends him a kind smile, and Izuku nods shortly in her direction.

"Shut the fuck up! You're crowding our damn side!" The spiky blonde shouts. And then he turns

around to face Izuku. "You! The fuck are you just doing sitting there, huh? Think you're better than us?"

"Bro! That's not manly at all!" The same red haired boy from earlier defends. Izuku would really love to go back to his Dad right now.

"Sorry 'bout him, man! He's just explosive like his quirk!" A blonde with a black bolt on his hair interrupts the chaos. Izuku only nods at them.

"You're clearly overwhelming him, kero," Izuku hears the frog girl speak. "We're sorry about the noise, Aiyama-chan. I'm Asui Tsuyu, call me Tsu."

Izuku takes the small moment of silence as his chance to sign. "Thank you, T-S-U."

The silence stretches on for longer, all of his classmates looking at him with various faces of shock

and realization.

"Oh shit, Sign! Are you mute, selectively mute, or..?" The black bolt boy(what a funny name, he has to learn their names soon) asks, yelping when the earphone jacked girl smacks him at the back.

"Sorry, dude, not a lot of us really know Sign," The red haired boy says. "Wait! Shinsou bro does!"

A groan sounds from behind him, and Izuku turns to see a purple haired boy(Shinsou?) watching him with tired eyes.

Oh, they both have eyebags. Cool.

"Are you willing to translate for me?" Izuku asks Shinsou, trying not to force the other into helping

him. "I can write for them, it's okay."

"I don't really care," Shinsou tiredly moves his hands, ignoring the audience around them. " So, are

you mute?"

"I can't speak 'cause that's how my quirk activates," Izuku responds. He watches Shinsou's eyes

widen slowly, a certain light shining in his purple eyes.

"Are they not allowing you to speak?" The boy asks, his movements a little frantic. Izuku freezes and stares at his seatmate with a blank look. And then he realizes.

"Oh, no- I mean. I'm allowed to talk, I just choose not to. It might freak everyone out so.." Izuku trails off. The way Shinsou reacted to his words looked a little suspicious. He'll ask him about it some other time.

"I see," Shinsou nods. "I'm S-H-I-N-S-O-U H-I-T-O-S-H-I, my sign name is-" The purple haired boy then signs tired, and then he asks, "What about you?"

"You already know my name, but my sign name is-" Izuku simply repeats the sign name he and his fathers decided on a few minutes prior. It makes him feel giddy whenever he does it.

Shinsou doesn't seem to get the reason behind his sign name, but he nods nonetheless. Eventually, he signs, "I'll translate for you, by the way."

Izuku gives him a thumbs-up, and then they turn back to their classmates, all who've only been simply watching their interaction carefully.

"Long story short, he can't speak because of his quirk." Shinsou drawls. "What, that's it? You talked for so long, though!" The black bolt boy whines.

"We just said our names, now go back to your seats. Class is starting soon." The purple haired boy grumbles, leaning back against his desk.

Izuku's classmates all sound out various types of protests, but the others oblige anyway. He finally gets the a few of the others' names("I'm Kirishima Eijirou by the way!" "Oh, yeah! I'm Kaminari Denki, nice to meet you bud!" "I'm Sero Hanta, and I'll be your seatmate!") while the clock ticks closer to their first class.

He turns around to face Shinsou and makes eye contact. Shinsou stares at him before raising an eyebrow, blinking when Izuku nods a small bow at him. The boy returns the gesture with amusement glimmering in his tired eyes.

While he turns back around, he meets the eyes of a boy with half white and half red hair, and then they stare at each other for three seconds.

Oh, he has heterochromia, too. That's cool.

Izuku simply nods a greeting, and he doesn't wait for the boy to respond before he completely faces the class, right exactly when Midnight enters the room.

"Ah!? We have a new baby, huh? Aiyama, right? Welcome to Class 1-A, hope you make the best out of your youthful years in here!" The R-Rated pro says. And then she winks. "You're kinda cute, little boy."

Izuku resists the urge to roll his eyes.

End Notes

A few months later...

"Aiyama, are you Aizawa-sensei's secret love child?" Todoroki asks in the middle of lunch break.

Izuku stares, and then he simply snorts before signing. "It took you that long to ask?"

Everyone turns to Shinsou, waiting for the translation. The purple haired boy stares at Izuku for approximately five seconds, before telling the rest of what Izuku just said.

And then the whole table erupts in chaos.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, 'IT TOOK YOU THAT LONG?'" Ashido shrieks.

"Wait! Who's the wife!?" Uraraka asks, frantic.

"Wife? Oh, I'll just tell you how I happened, then." Izuku ominously signs, grinning. Shinsou's in for some wild translating session.

Or maybe Izuku should just speak for this one.
