Ch1
Naruto Uzumaki was rummaging through some old scrolls, "Man I can't believe I have to clean all of this," he muttered as he put the scrolls in order. The young ninja was told to clean and organize these old dusty scrolls that were in a library attic and to be honest he found the task to be tedious.
"This is so boring why can't she just make me practice some new jutsu instead?" He muttered as he blew the dust off a scroll and put but it on the shelf. Cleaning the various scrolls he did his best to neatly organize them.
I wonder what's in them anyway? The scrolls seemed old and while some of them were marked with various names of treaties and other random bureaucratic nonsense. However, some of them didn't even have labels so he just put them together with the other scrolls without labels.
He continued to organize the scrolls when one caught this eye. It was an old scroll with a blue string around it. "I wonder what this is for?" He muttered as he picked it up.
There were no labels on it but the way it was hidden nestled under some other scrolls seemed as if someone were trying to hide it. Curiosity got the best of him as he took off the string and opened the scroll.
"Other world transportation jutsu," he said as he read the scroll. He scratched his head as he read the instructions. Other world? What does it mean by that? The scroll didn't give much details outside of the hand signs to go and return.
A smile spread across his face as curiosity got the better of him, "Well this is cool I wonder what kind of world will the user be sent to?" Looking around he made sure no one was around before tying the scroll back up and putting it in his pocket. I'm working so hard I might as well get something for it.
With that he continued to clean and organize the scrolls, though his mind wondered to the mysterious scroll he found. "That should do it," he said after he finished organizing everything. Gripping the scroll in his pocket he left the room and found Kakashi sensei reading a book. "Hey I just finished organizing everything."
Kakashi looked up at him and nodded, "Go ahead."
He smiled and quickly ran out of the building. It was late evening in Konoha but that didn't stop him, he wanted study the new scroll he found. He ran to the park where he usually trained and sat down on a bench with a scroll in hand.
"Other world transportation," he muttered as he read the scroll's instructions. Unfortunately the scroll did not say which world he would go to but still curiosity got the better of him as he memorized the hand signs.
This is so cool I wonder what this other world is like? Maybe I can learn some new jutsus there? Taking a deep breath he put the scroll in his pocket as he did the appropriate hand signs, "Other World Transportation jutsu." There was a cloud of smoke as a bright light flashed around him.
Hikari Netto rested on a bench as he looked out to the rural scenery around him, "It's nice that we can finally take a vacation together as a family," he said as he looked around at the scenery around him.
He was currently in the rural countryside far form his home and spending at a guest house they were renting.
"Yeah your parents are really enjoying their time together," Rockman said from his PET.
"True they've been out the past few days," he sighed. He was a bit annoyed that this was supposed to be a family vacation but his parents were always gone doing their leaving him alone in the lodge they were renting for a few days. But I'm happy for them at least they can be together.
Despite it being a vacation he felt bored as hell. Their lodge's internet wasn't interesting, there was no one to net battle, and the place was full of old people. I'm glad mom and dad can get some time together but this place is pretty boring.
He looked through his PET to see if he had any new messages from his friends. I hope they are having fun at least. His friends were all hanging out together while he was alone here in the middle of nowhere.
"Hey Rockman have you heard of any interesting places around her?" He asked as he scoured the internet for any information about this place. "If we are going to be here alone we might as well find something cool to do."
Rockman nodded, "I'll help you look." The two scoured the internet for anything that would be cool. However, they didn't find any places that weren't expensive or boring for his tastes.
"Hey what's this?" He paused as he found an article about a forest route. "It says it leads to an old shrine."
"I don't know there isn't much information about it online," Rockman said. "It looks like its in an out of the way place too."
"Oh come it's still light outside," he said as he looked up the directions. "Let's just take a quick look."
"Fine lets be safe though," Rockman said. "There are a lot of reports of Yakuza in the area."
"Of course," he said as he stood up and stretched. Finally something somewhat interesting. After double checking that their lodge was locked, he quickly headed out into town. "Now where is this route?" he muttered as he looked at his PET.
They walked through the small town passing by various shops and stands selling all kinds of items. He followed the various streets the PET told him to go down until they reached the other side of town and towards a with a stone trail going through it.
"Well here is the path," he said as a cold wind passed through him.
"Be careful it's getting dark," Rockman warned as he began to walk down the stone path.
"I will," he said as he walked into the forest. The atmosphere got colder as he walked down the path, it was quiet eerily quiet. After walking a while he noticed the ruins of various stone statues and lanterns.
"Man this place must have been popular," he said as he approached the entrance of the shrine it was all in ruins with various stone tablets along the way.
"Be careful this place might be dangerous," Rockman warned.
He passed through the stone guardians and arrived at the center of the ruins. The ruins of the shrine lay scattered around the area with the only thing left standing were a few stone guardian foxes. It feels like they are staring at me. He shivered as he walked into the middle of a circle, the statues seemed to be eyeing him it was kind of creepy at this time of the day.
It was then that he felt the hairs on his neck stand up. The air around him got heavy as a jolt of energy passed through him. "What's going on?" he covered his eyes just as a flash of light appeared in front of him.
Stumbling back he fell onto the ground as he heard someone fall in front of him. When he opened his eyes he saw a blonde kid in orange around his age stand up in front of him. He wore some strange clothing and a metal headband of some kind. "So this is another world?" The kid muttered
"Um hey," he said standing up and getting a better look at him. The kid looked at him with a pair of bright blue eyes, he had what appeared to be whiskers on his face. "You just fell out of nowhere."
"I guess the jutsu worked then," The boy said before smiling and extending and arm. "My name is Uzumaki Naruto nice to meet you. I guess I'm a visitor from another world."
"Another world?" He asked as he shook hands with Naruto. "Well you did just fall out of the sky. My name is Hikari Netto."
"Nice to meet you," Naruto said with a wide smile.
He seems friendly. "So where are you from?" He asked.
"I'm a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village," Naruto said pointing to his forehead protector.
"Ninja cool?" He said feeling an interest in the new kid.
"Yeah it is," Naruto said proudly. "I'm going to be the next leader of my village one day." Naruto then looked around. "So where are we anyway?"
"In the ruins of some old shrine," he said looking around them. "There was nothing else around here, you can come if you want?" Naruto seemed like a nice guy, besides he was curious about this other world he came from.
"Cool lets go then," Naruto said. "Are there ninjas like me here?"
He shook his head, "No there haven't been any ninjas in ages. We have the internet though." He tried to explain to Naruto about the internet but the blonde seemed lost. "We have these things called PETs that have personal assistants this is my friend Rockman," he said as he showed Naruto his PET.
"Nice to meet you," Rockman said with a bow from inside his PET.
"Wow does he always stay there?" Naruto asked as he looked at the PET.
"No. Sometimes he explores the internet and sometimes we fight crime together," he said as they walked through the forest.
"Wow your world really is different than mine," Naruto said scratching his head.
"Well I don't have anything else to do so come on let me show you around," he said. He was glad to have someone his age to talk to in this town. "My parents are busy so you can stay at our lodge if you want."
"Thanks. I want to see what this world is like," Naruto said with a wide smile.
However, the sound of rustling form the bushes caught his attention. Two burly guys stepped out of the shadows. They wore trench coats and their faces were covered by masks. "Alright boys you both will be coming with us," one of them said holding a rope in his hands.
"Crap they look like yakuza," he said his legs shaking. "We have to get out of here."
"Don't worry I got this," Naruto said as he stepped in front of him and pulled a knife from a pouch in his bag.
"Don't try anything kid just come with us no funny business," the man said.
Naruto then did some hand signs, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" To his surprise, various clones of Naruto appeared around him.
What the hell. He watched as the clones descended on the two men who stared in surprise before the clones began to beat them up. It was just street techniques either, they were all attacking with precision with moves that came from being trained in combat
"Come on lets go!" Naruto said grabbing his arm.
He nodded as they ran from the thugs who were now crying in pain. "Wow what was that?" He asked once they ran out of the forest and blended into the crowds of people.
"A jutsu," Naruto said proudly. "Don't worry I'll have them tie them up, nothing will happen don't worry."
"Oh ok," he said scratching his head. "Well thanks for saving me I guess. That was really cool."
"No problem," Naruto said with a laugh. "So what's cool around here?"
He smiled at Naruto, "Sure let me show you around my parents are busy." Oh this is definitely going to be one fun summer.
AN: This is just some small short story I wrote as a kid but decided to edit to the best of my abilities and put it here. It won't be anything epic, but it will show the friendship between Naruto and Netto.
Sorry that this story won't be something super serious. I wrote this draft when I was younger and decided to put it here
