Author's note:

I am writing two pieces at the same time so uploads may not be so regular but my biggest pet peeve is unfinished stories so I definitely will finish the stories.

Swan Falls Sick

As the darkness seeped into Emma, Regina's eyes glassed over with unshed tears. Emma had just sacrificed her pure heart to save Regina...She saved HER!!!

No one had ever saved Regina successfully before...her father had tried and failed...Daniel had tried and well,we all know what happened...Emma tried and was successful!!

As Emma fell to the ground coughing violently and sputtering for breath,Regina looked down at the dark one dagger in her hand.Instead of the imp now,Emma was the dark one and the fine dark pulsating lettering on the sharp silver blade proved it better than anything.

Watching Emma struggling to remain conscious,Regina immediately ran to her suddenly having the incessant urge to help her which she chalked upto guilt for being the reason that Emma now had a darkened heart,quite literally!Worry and concern was etched on her face as the light bulbs flickered and burst all around them.

Shining sharp emerald eyes met striking brown as the woman made eye contact. Emma's eyes were silently pleading for help.That's when she noticed it... Emma's hands were glowing...her magic was spinning out of control...As the knowing brunette bent at the waist to scoop Emma up,One-handed wonder picked her up like some damsel in distress smiling at the Charmings as if he was one.Just as he was about to plant a kiss on Emma's eye rolling face,he gasped as pain shot up from his palms.He immediately let dropped the blonde who finally passed out with a loud thud.Hook's eyes practically popped out of their sockets as he eyed the burns on his hands suspiciously.

"What did you do Regina?!?" Hook yelled.

"Well Captain it wasn't actually me who burned your hand but Emma"

"The darkness is taking hold on her that fast..."He said quietly...

Regina rolled his eyes"On the contrary Emma is fighting the darkness thus her sickness and loss of control of her magic."

"I'll take care of her"supplied Mary Margaret.She was done being simply a friend to Emma...She wanted to have a chance to be her mother.

"Actually,Snow you'd be blown up before you even put her to bed I'm the one with magic so let me handle it"Regina replied in an authoritative tone and added more softly more soothingly"I'll protect her..."

That got the pixie cut haired woman to shut up.Regina teleported Emma and herself in puff of purple smoke before Snow second guessed herself.Brushing her fingers against Emma's head,she realised that the savior had a bad fever knowing magic couldn't cure other magic she decided that rest would do the trick just right.Laying Emma's head against the pillow.Sje slipped into her softest silk pajamas before passing out in her own bedroom.The next few days were extremely hectic.The mayor handled office duties and Emma's nursing as she blinked in and out of consciousness each time latching onto Regina like an anchor to prevent herself Fromm falling deeper into her own personal pool of darkness.

But today,things had gotten too far.Hook had made one to many comments about her involvement in Emma's current predicament and Regina had snapped...HARD.

"You little lovesick puppy dog... can't handle your girlfriend wanting to help the Evil Queen!"She smirked as the pirate's face contorted to rage.He slammed his hand on the table and walked out on the spot.

Using her magic day and night to shield Emma's magic from the world had taken its toll on her body.She couldn't wait to go down to the Rabbit Hole.She maybe a queen but when a girl's gotta drink,she just gotta drink.

Emma had just drifted off as Regina slipped into one of her more comfortable dresses and put on a pair of more forgiving heels as she made her way down to the bar.As she entered she realised that the the bar was pretty empty. Glad that some of the more inappropriate guys weren't there she settled in one of the back booths for a couple shots.

No sooner had she finished her first shot,a cool leather cuff bound her wrist and she felt a couple sweaty hands grab at her waist.She immediately stood up whipping around to spot the invader and her blood ran cold at sight she saw.

Even in her sleep,the blonde could tell something was wrong but in her current condition she couldn't really help so she prayed and prayed that Henry and Regina were okay...
