October 31st 1981
The day that it all started.

The wind howled in Godrics hollow as evening slowly approached. The usually busy little town was eerily silent tonight as only one person could be seen walking its streets.
This man donned a black cloak that billowed in the wind as he walked down the cobbled streets, there was something off with this man yet no one could put their finger on it.
Seemingly arriving at his destination, the man comes to a halt in front of a little cottage as a loud pop broke the silence.
This man who had just appeared out of thin air was a short, balding, overweight man who looked so timid that a balloon popping could scare him.
"Wormtail is this the house" the man wearing the cloak asked the overweight man now known as Wormtail
"Y-y-yes my lord" Wormtail managed to squeak out "D-do u want me to wait here for y-you"
"No that wont be necessary return back to the manor and wait for me to call you."this mysterious man said while peering into the cottage
The sight inside the cottage could warm most peoples hearts it was a family of 4 which consisted of a dad who was a tall, thin man who had a pair of glasses, with hazel eyes and untidy black hair, his wife a beautiful woman with thick, dark red hair that fell to her shoulders, and almond-shaped, bright green eyes and there finally there was the twin boys both around one year old one looking like the carbon copy of his dad but his mothers emerald eyes and the other the same but with bright red hair and hazel eyes. How happy this family looked sickened the man
For he was Lord Voldemort nothing made his heart warm and he was here to kill this family to stop this so called prophecy Severus had told him about
Dismissing Wormtail, Lord Voldemort approached the gate and blasted it open, this sent the family into panic with the dad shouting "Lily its him take the kids and run." As his wife runs up the stairs with both kids in her hands. Oh how he loved how much fear he caused
Blasting the door open he came face to face with a angry looking James Potter who screamed at him "Your gonna have to get past me to get to them you monster!"
"So be it CRUCIO!"Voldemort shouted as he sent the torture curse towards James Potter who dodged out the way off it
James threw a particularly dark eye liquifying curse as Voldemort simply bats the spell away with ease.
"Thats a dark spell for someone so light" Voldemort mocked as he responds with some bone breakers towards James and a killing curse forcing James to quickly transfigure the broken door into a stag which jumps in the way of the killing curse but couldn't stop one of the bone breakers hitting its mark straight into james left shoulder breaking it with a horrible crack as Voldemort looks at him with glee at his pain
"Severus told me u were quite the transfiguration prodigy but u can never compare to Lord Voldemort himself" The Dark Lord boasted.
"Fuck that death eater scum and fuck you" James gritted out through the pain as he animates another stag towards Voldemort which he blew up with a strong blasting curse and then he banished the pieces back towards James lodging wooden shrapnel in his right arm as James screams in pain
"Its truly a shame, you always were so talented Potter"Lord Voldemort said coldly while flinging James across the house not killing him as that would be a waste of a pureblood and there weren't many proper purebloods like James Potter around any more
As he made his way up the stair he could hear the whispering of Lily Potter and the crying of a child
Lily Potter. Talented beyond belief but a mudblood, still he owed it to Severus to spare her as he made it to the top of the stairs he entered the room
It was a brightly coloured room with Gryffindor decor hanging from the walls with two cribs next to each other up against the back wall there in front of the cribs was Lily Potter begging for her sons lives "Please not the boys, kill me just leave my babies please." She begged, quickly stunning her he turned his attention to the two boys.
The one Potter boy with bright red hair was crying while the one with black hair stared him down defiantly."Wow not many show such defiance to me, the greatest dark lord of all time, Lord Voldemort!" He told the boy "For that i will kill your brother first then you"
"AVADA KEDAVRA!" He intoned as he sent the sickly green killing curse at the red headed one however was shocked to see the defiant one jump towards it to save his brother
Normally Voldemort would have sneered at such action but he didn't have time as all of a sudden pure pain ripped across his body leaving him in agony feeling like his soul have been ripped out his body and then all of a sudden he felt no more and the last thing he saw was that same sickly green light
For anyone looking outside the cottage would see it light up green for a split second and then go back to normal never disturbing the peace of godrics hollow
Moments later two pops could be heard through out the streets as Albus Dumbledore and Sirius Black arrived seconds between each other, Sirius because he had a very bad gut feeling and Dumbledore because the magic sensors around the cottage were going haywire
"Albus! Do you know whats happened?" Sirius asked panicked looking at the cottage
"Im afraid i do not my boy but i do have a bad feeling about this Sirius" He responded as he walked up to the blasted down door as Sirius follows him inside
"Sirius I've found James he's alive!" Dumbledore shouts to Sirius who is just walking through the door
"Oh thank god but wait LILY HARRY ADRIAN!"
Sirius runs up the stairs as he sprints into the twins room where rubble has fell from the roof and blocked the doorway
"ALBUS COME AND HELP ME!" Sirius shouts downstairs as Dumbledore ascends the stairs as fast as he could for a man of his age soon making it into the room Dumbledore removed the rumble from the doorway as he stumble across Lily who was barely breathing even though only being stunned, both Sirius and Dumbledore sighed in relief at the fact both Potter parents were okay
Sirius ran over to the cribs as fast as he could, seeing they were both alright he started crying out of pure relief that all 4 Potters had survived.
Upon examining closer Dumbledore noticed both the boys were bleeding heavily from scars on both there faces Adrian had a squiggly line scar going halfway down his jaw whereas Harry had a lighting bolt scar on his forehead
"Dumbledore have you worked out what happened" Sirius asked through tears of relief,
Dumbledore who was still examining the scars replied hesitantly " I do believe that little Adrian Potter here rebounded Voldemorts killing curse"
"Impossible surely what makes you think that?" Sirius questioned
"Ah well this scar is a good indicator as well as the fact his magical core is currently depleted"
"Lets take the boys and James and Lily to Poppy so they can get healed up and then we will have to tell the public"
"So Lord Voldemort is no more and the wars over?"
"Yes hes gone... for now" Dumbledore added quietly when Sirius had gone downstairs to get James.

Lily Potters emerald green eyes opened with a flutter "w-where am I?"
"You are in the hospital wing Mrs Potter" Madam Pomfrey said from Lilys right or left Lily couldnt tell right now
"Madam Pomfrey what happe-HARRY! ADRIAN! JAMES! VOLDEMORT WAS THERE PLEASE TELL ME THEY'RE OKAY!"
"Mrs Potter please calm down your family is safe and sound and youve probably just woke them up" Madam Pomfrey cut in sternly "Now drink these" while handing Lily two potions
With great disgust Lily drank both potions soon after drinking she had to stop herself being sick from the foul tasting concoction
"W-whas all tha shoutin" Someone mumbled from the bed to the left, turning to look it was none other than James
"James your awake thank Merlin your safe!" Lily said between tears
"Hey its alright Lily dear ill always come back to you, I cant be leaving a women so beautiful to become a widow" James shot back with a wink
"Idiot!" Lily said while punching James in the arm
"OW that hurt bloody violent women wha-THE KIDS LILY WHERE ARE THE KIDS"
As soon as James had finished his shouting a child crying could be heard as it echoed through the hospital wing
"Well by the looks of it youve just woke them up" Madam Pomfrey said dryly "but do not worry both are healthy as anything." Both Lily and James sighed in relief as they tried to get up to see their children
"Where do u think your going"
"But Poppy the kids-" James tried to explain to Madam Pomfrey
"They are fine ill bring them over" she goes and collects both the twins as she hands Adrian to Lily and Harry to James
"Whats with these scars?" Lily asked no one in particular
"Ah that Lily my dear is their only injury from tonight" Dumbledore seemingly cut in from no where
"What do you mean Albus" James quizzed
"Well you see Lord Voldemorts cursed had rebounded off of young Adrian here and it killed Voldemort but in the chaos the roof on the cottage had collapsed giving Harry here this lightning bolt scar" Dumbledore explained
"Wait are you saying my boy survived the killing curse and is responsible for Voldemorts death?" James cut in
"Yes yes I am, I present to you Adrian Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived"

Notes: Sorry this was a short chapter i just needed to build up the whole Lily and James live thing
Also can anyone give me any title ideas i cant think off any

Also i dont know just how consistent i will be updating this so but all engagement is appreciated and will probably give me the urge to write again
Aswell don't worry I'm not gonna make harry go down that whole my name is Hadrian Potter and I'm lord potter-black-Slytherin-Gryffindor-Peverell-Hogwarts ill try and keep him as in character as i can
