"Elisabeth Delmas and Aelita Stones." Nurse Yolanda called out, the two girls ready to get examined just like all the other students waiting outside the office.

Aelita gave Jeremie a brief wink before she and Sissi walked in with Yolanda closing the door to give them some privacy.

"Alright Elisabeth, you can go first. I just need you to strip down and we can get a reading on your weight." spoke Yolanda as Sissi gave a smug look to Aelita.

"Don't get jealous, I DO have the perfect figure after all." she started taking her top off, revealing her pink bra and tossed it aside before removing her shoes and pants, her modesty clad in a pair of matching manties.

Aelita didn't bother to say anything, but did give a brief roll of her eyes as Sissi stepped onto the digital scale before letting out a gasp and putting her hands on her hips.

"What?! Your scale must be broken. That's five pounds over!" she declared, the reading was 110.2 pounds as she looked at the nurse.

"The scale is perfectly accurate, Elisabeth." replied Yolanda, not bothered by the girl's outrage as she held the clipboard to her chest.

"It's Sissi! This is outrageous, I'm going to tell my father." she huffed before walking past the nurse and over to her clothes.

"I'd run over to his office if I were you, it might help you lose a few pounds." Yolanda kept a smile off her face before turning to Aelita. "Your turn Aelita."

"I'm really sorry ma'am, but I forgot to bring my health record."

"Oh it's no big deal, I'll just put your results on a separate piece of paper and staple it to your file later on." reassured the nurse while Sissi got her pants, shoes, and was pulling her shirt over her top.

"I should have left my health record at home too." she remarked to herself.

"But why?" asked Aelita.

"Can't you guess? My ultra perfect waist curve has just been wrecked by these five extra pounds."

"Well you can't tell by looking at you." replied the pink haired girl, trying to sound reassuring before Sissi scoffed.

"Easy for you to say." turning she marched out of the office with her head held high and slammed the door shut behind her.

"Something tells me Miss 'Perfect' just learned about a new flaw." Odd remarked like a smart ass to Ulrich, making the boy have to keep from snickering as the girl walked past them.

Back inside, Aelita looked down at her body as she began to strip down to her underwear. She knew it was part of the exam, but that didn't mean it had to be something she had to do without feeling a bit self conscious. She set her clothes over to the side, rubbing her arms due to the room's cool air while clad in a regular white bra and matching panties.

Yolanda walked over and gestured to the scale. "Alright, let's see your weight."

Walking over, she stood on the scale and watched the number rise up. She wasn't too bothered or worried about her weight, but when she saw it reach 77, she could not help but smile a little. Knowing if Sissi saw it, she would really get riled up.

"Hmm." Yolanda let out when she saw the amount and wrote it down. "Alright, now your height."

Aelita walked over and stood in front of the wall where a ruler was set up. Yolanda set it down to reach the top of Aelita and took in the height before jotting it down as well. 4'9 to be precise.

"Ok, now let's check your heart." she grabbed her stethoscope as Aelita sat down on a stool. Sitting across from got her patient, she gently set it against her chest, which got the girl to let out a jump.

"Oh! Sorry." she apologized as the nurse smiled.

"Relax, that's perfectly natural." she moved it over Aelita's heart, listening closely to the beats and mentally counting them. After a bit she moved it, listened again, then pulled it away with a nod. "Sounds like your hearts pumping just fine."

Aelita let out a sigh of relief before Yolanda pulled out a tongue depressor.

"Say ahh."

"Ahhh." she opened her mouth and kept still while Yolanda carefully looked inside her mouth, mindful to hold the girl's tongue down gently.

"Tonsils look nice and healthy." Yolanda pulled the stick away and made a note with the rest of the info. She moved over and grabbed a sphygmomanometer from the wall. She wrapped it around Aelita's arm with the girl looking a little confused.

"What's this for?" she asked curiously, which Yolanda could understand given how most kids at the school weren't well versed in medical equipment.

"It's to check your blood pressure. Just relax and don't tighten up your muscles." she advised before she started to inflate the band as it tightened around her arm.

Aelita tried to keep her breath steady and relaxed the tighter it got, feeling the blood in her arm grow slightly slow due to the grip. When it hit a certain point, it started deflating on it's own.

Yolanda read the reading and jotted the numbers down, taking note that it seemed a bit high. Setting the clipboard down, she grabbed a stethoscope and moved closer. "Keep your eyes focused on me, don't stare into the light."

"Yes ma'am." she tried to open her eyes as wide as she could and stared ahead at the nurse who began examining her eyes for any abnormalities. She went from the right eye to the left, pulling the tool away and making more notes.

"Alright, one last thing, measurements." reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a tape measure and moved over to Aelita, carefully wrapping it around her body. She started at the chest, moving down to her stomach, and then her thighs.

Aelita felt her cheeks heat up, feeling the tape up against her skin with Yolanda awfully close didn't exactly help. She made sure to stay as still as possible before the nurse pulled back and jotted down the numbers and nodded.

"Ok Aelita, you can put your clothes back on."

She let out a sigh of relief and started getting dressed as Yolanda looked at the clipboard, rubbing her chin before turning to Aelita.

"Aelita? Would it be alright if you came back after I'm finished with the others? I'd like to talk to you."

"Is something wrong with me?" she asked with a feeling of worry and concern.

"It's nothing to get worried about, just something I'd like to talk to you when we have time to spare." reassured Yolanda with a smile.

Aelita wanted to believe her, but given her history of dealing with virtual monsters and a virtual being hellbent on gunning for her? She had a good reason to be cautious. Giving Yolanda a nod, she made her way out of the office with Jeremie looking the most concerned.

"Well? Is everything alright?"

"She…wants to see me later on." she informed, causing the boys to look confused.

"What for?" asked Odd.

"I don't know, she just wants to talk to me about something when everyone else is done."

"Oh no." Jeremie let out, looking more worried than when she went inside. "Maybe we should stop by the factory and run a quick scan, just to be safe."

"Easy there Einstein," Ultrich interjected with a hand on his shoulder. "If it was something major, she would have said something. It might just be something…personal."

"Personal?" Odd looked at his friend with confusion as Ulrich gave Odd a look that said 'Think about it'. Giving a brief moment to think it over, the purple clad boy stiffened up. "Oh! Oh….ok, I got it now."

"Get what?" asked Jeremie before Ulrich cleared his throat.

"I'll tell ya later, my point is maybe we should leave it to the professional. Computers and programming are one thing, but let's be honest, none of us are doctors."

"Especially me." smirked Odd.

"Just don't worry too much Aelita and you'll be alright." smiled Ulrich, which helped her perk up and smile back.

"You're right, worrying won't help me until then."

Later, after going through the numerous other kids who had not gotten examined yet, and taking some time to grab a quick bite to eat, Aelita headed back to the nurse's office. She looked around before knocking on the door and waited. The door opened up with Yolanda smiling at the girl.

"Glad you could make it Aelita, come on in."

Aelita walked in and closed the door behind her, locking it since she didn't want any unexpected visitors to pop in. She walked over and took a spot on one of the chairs across from Yolanda's desk with the nurse holding her hands together in front of her.

"Now before we get started, let me first make it clear you're alright." she informed Aelita whose shoulders looked a bit tense. Seeing the girl lower them slightly made her continue. "I understand you might have been concerned, and it's natural. I was the same way when I didn't get the answers right away and was a worried mess until I heard it face to face."

"That's a relief." Aelita sighed as she felt her insides loosen up from the stress she had been holding onto subconsciously.

"Now Aelita, I just wanted to let you know that your body is completely healthy. Healthy heart, good eyesight, but there is something I'm concerned with. You see Aelita, when I saw your weight, I was a bit concerned."

"Why? Is it too much?"

"No, too little actually. Have you been eating enough lately? You're not on any risky diet plan, are you?" she asked, dreading the idea given the few times she had Sissi come in after feeling faint due to some 'trendy new diet' that were just plain dangerous.

"No, nothing like that. I've been eating three meals a day like everybody, minus an extra snack or two." admitted Aelita.

"I was also concerned about your height. Usually girls your age are a bit taller and wanted to know if you were staying active outside of gym class?"

Aelita looked up, all the times she ran through Lyoko and from XANA's monsters came to mind, and the times she and the others had to rush to the factory to deactivate a tower. Though she can not just tell that to the school nurse. "Well, I do some jogging whenever I have some free time, does that count?"

"Yes, but sometimes you need more than that. You're a growing girl Aelita, and it's best to get a head start on keeping your body in tip top shape before it gets too late. Too much eating and not enough moving can weigh you down."

"Like Sissi?" Aelita cracked a smile which made Yolanda mirror it.

"Yes, like Sissi. Besides jogging, you could try aerobics, it's wonderful with friends and helps limber your body up. Swimming is another good way to help all the muscles in your body since your whole body is submerged and needs to work all together to keep going. Even yoga is a popular one with girls today while helping your mind stay calm and relaxed. Have you been dealing with any extra stress lately?"

Aelita recalled the last XANA attack and wracked her brain for a response. "Uh…just some of the tests we've had lately, that's all."

"Well working out is also a good way to help deal with stress. There's all sorts of choices to choose from."

Aelita perked up when an idea hit her. "Wait, what about martial arts? Ulrich and Yumi do that in their spare time. I think it's called…pencak silat?"

"That's a wonderful idea." smiled Yolanda with a nod. "Martial arts can help keep your body moving and in tip top shape, and depending on what kind, can be a great way of defending yourself. I personally think every child in today's world needs to know how they can protect themselves. Why don't you try talking to them and see if they can help you learn?"

"I could talk to them at dinner."

"That's perfect, but just remember; don't overwork yourself. Physical condition is important, but if you push yourself too far without rest, you can put yourself at serious risk. So if you start, remember to take breaks and stay hydrated."

"I will." she nodded. "Is there anything else you wanted to talk to me about?"

"No, that's all I wanted to talk to you about. You have a good day Aelita, and do be careful." advised the nurse as Aelita stood up with a smile.

"I will, thank you." she turned and made her way out of the office, a huge amount of relief filling her. She looked down at her body and flexed her hands. Being told she was smaller than average made her a bit self conscious, but with the tip on how to help fix that? It made her happy given that's something she hadn't really taken into account. Being more focused on dealing with XANA and gaining a real body took precedent.

But now that she had a flesh and blood body? She had to take better care of it, especially with the fight with XANA not stopping just yet. Besides, learning martial arts like Ulrich and Yumi did sound pretty cool given how she never considered changing up her style of fighting.

Later on, the group met up again in the cafeteria for dinner, Odd stuffing his face as usual while Yumi herself looked at Aelita with curiosity.

"So the guys told me you had to talk to Nurse Yolanda about something, did everything go ok?"

"Oh yes, everything was just fine. She said I was very healthy." replied Aelita, making her friends happy to hear. She paused on her meal and looked between Ulrich and Yumi. "But, she did mention I could be a bit more physical."

"Isn't fighting with XANA all the physical activity we need?" asked Odd while swallowing a piece of a bagel.

"Well, she told me I could use variety, and I thought of something that I'd need your help with. Ulrich, Yumi? Could you…teach me martial arts?" she asked, catching the two off guard.

"You want us to train you?" asked Yumi with surprise.

"Not really sure if that'd work." admitted Ulrich. "I mean, Yumi might, but I'm not really much of a teacher."

"But you know way more than I do, and anything you taught me would be extremely helpful." replied Aelita, now looking a bit pleading as her friends looked at each other.

"Well I'm all for it." smiled Yumi. "It wouldn't hurt to learn a trick or two."

Hearing the response made Aelita turn to Ulrich who still seemed unsure, but seeing Aelita's expression made him rub the back of his head.

"Well…I guess it couldn't hurt to try."

"Oh, thank you both!" beamed Aelita. "This is going to be exciting."
