When Jazz Fenton returned from Peace Valley, the first thing she did was change into her aqua blue nightgown. She then took out her journal to write about what had happened that night.

"I admit tonight was quite enlightening. I did find great pleasure in researching and experiencing another culture's traditions and learning about their faith. Our family isn't anything. We celebrate Christmas, which is still embarrassing because of Dad's foolish belief in Santa Claus. However, I've enjoyed spending time with my older sister, Ceci.

She's only a few months older then me. Her birthday is in November, and mine is in February. Still, I've also enjoyed having a sister and a friend. So spending tonight's holiday with her friend was an excellent treat. I learned so much tonight, and it will help me in the long run when I get my psychology degree. To help people, I need to understand different beliefs, cultures, and theology.

So, I found the whole thing a truly enlightening experience. I need to improve my social skills and learn to act like a kid. Then I could make a few friends. I don't have to be an adult before I am one. It's too much of a burden.

I'm looking forward to Ceci and I spending some quality time together. This time we'll actually be able to go to the library! That would be so awesome!

I'm also happy to have a second mother in Kathleen Wells. I love my own mom, Maddie, but Kathleen acts as a mother in ways Mom does not. And it's nice to have another mother to go to do for things I can't count on my own mom for. Either way, I'll work harder to achieve my career goals while being a better sister. I also hope to make some friends. Well, goodnight!" as she hid her journal again and soon fell asleep.
