After leaving the cafeteria, Arnold had gone to the stairs that led to the roof.

"Should have known you would be able to find me here," said Helga who was sitting at the top crying.

"You come up here anytime something upsets you while at school," said Arnold.

"Kind of worries me about what you would do if the door weren't locked," he said while sitting down next to her.

"I'm not going to off myself, football head," said Helga.

"Haven't heard that nickname in a while," said Arnold while smiling and wiping the tears from her cheeks the best he could.

"I didn't mean…," said Helga, but she stopped when Arnold suddenly kissed her on the lips, keeping her from speaking.

"Look at me, does it look like I care that you called me that?" asked Arnold after pulling away a little but looking Helga right in the eyes as he spoke.

"No," said Helga.

"When we were younger I hated that nickname, but not anymore and only for one reason," said Arnold.

"And that's because it was my girlfriend who came up with it," he said.

"How did I get so lucky to actually get you to go out with me?" asked Helga while leaning her head onto his shoulder, this time happy tears were rolling down her cheeks as she smiled.

"You helped save my parents, it showed me a lot about you," said Arnold.

"Please don't talk about that," said Helga as she sat up to wipe the tears away. At the same time, Rhonda and her group were in the library sitting at a computer.

"Are you sure that this is a good idea?" asked Harold.

"Yeah, what if Arnold finds out about this, he already warned us and he's kind of been scary of late when he gets mad," said Sid.

"He won't do anything, he's too much of a good guy who's just acting all big and bad," said Rhonda.

"And Helga deserves this," she said with a wicked grin before turning back to the computer.
