The night was getting late. The office that was usually bustling with people was empty.

In the middle of the room, Sami sat, eyes fixed on the infantry combat instructions. Her face was clearly tired, yet she continued.

Sami rubbed his eyes and looked towards the clock. It was 11 PM.

"Sheesh. It's late." Sami said to herself.

As a commander and infantry specialist, Sami believed it was her responsibility to improve her techniques and those of her men so they could perform as best as possible in combat. The battle is won by the infantries after all.

Sami got up and went to grab some coffee in the pantry. The pantry was empty as expected. As Sami walked towards the kitchen counter, she spotted something wrapped in parchment paper on top of the counter. There was a note on it.

Sami put down her empty cup and opened the wrapper. Inside it was a warm and fresh ham and egg sandwich.

Someone must had left it not long ago, as she didn't see it when she went to the bathroom two hours ago.

Sami then looked at the note, which read:

Hey, I know you're working hard. But don't forget to eat. Can't go to combat if our infantry specialist is sick!

P.S. Nell taught me to make it. She said this is your favorite. Sorry if the ham tasted weird, I stole it from Max's.

-Andy-

Sami scoffed and smiled a little. "Andy, that sill boy." She thought to herself.

After Sami had finished making her coffee, she decided to bring the sandwich along to her desk and ate it while enjoying the steaming, yet delicious coffee.

It was the best sandwich she ever had.
