Africa
A Tunisian refugee boat will capsize in a storm while attempting to make its way to Italy. The sole survivor will be a sixteen-year-old girl who triggers with the ability to manipulate gravity in a small region around herself, though Italian authorities will initially believe the power relates solely to self-sustaining buoyancy. Her power will not be limited by the Manton Effect.
Asia
One will meet with CUI leadership in Bejing to discuss international parahuman targeting and acquisitions.
The floral-based Shaker Sage will begin her conquest of the Honshu province by discharging a modified version of her "serenity solution" pollination. After reaching a suitable location, Sage will release the effect, which will cause significant muscle degeneration in any mammalian life form exposed to it for longer than 90 seconds. Beginning in the Chūgoku region, Sage will go about methodically executing thirteen of the sixteen capes in Hiroshima and leave tens of thousands of civilians in dire need of medical treatment. Due to the agent's lingering miasma, a five square mile region around Hiroshima will be inaccessible until the weather naturally disperses it.

Caperoos Tinker Wellspring, working in conjunction with Kings' Men Tinkers' Overhaul and Autonomous, will finalize the key component of their dimensional shunt technology. When activated, the device will pull ionized spatial radiation from nearby dimensions and convert it into clean energy. Plans to test the device are scheduled for later this week once the proper radiation shield can be safely implemented.
Europe
The Three Blasphemies will conduct a strafing run of Milan starting a 08:12 pm local time, decimating the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Notable victims of the attack will be Poland's Economic Minister, Jan Pawlak, the Nordic League's Director of Art and Culture, Alida Hendersen, and Greek philanthropist Adrian Alexiou. All will be killed when the Town House Galleria hotel is destroyed.

Independent Hero Adalid will announce his three strikes policy by forcibly interrupting a session of the Argentine parliament on judicial reform. Under his self-decreed policy, any cape - hero, villain, or rogue - who he personally apprehends in the act of harming innocent civilians will face uniform punishments. The first strike, maiming; second strike, crippling; third strike, death.
Independent Brazilian hero Lâmina will be executed by government-sponsored villain Crosta. Lâmina had previously refused to censor her heroic activities to the guidelines of the Brazilian government. Crosta will receive a bounty of $15,000 from the government for the kill.

The Protectorate makes no apologies for how the situation with Sage developed. We relied upon our on the ground assets to give us the best understanding of the situation as it developed. In this circumstance, it appears as if our initial threat rating of Sage was not as accurate as it should have been.

How did they compensate for the electromagnetic interference when trying to transfer energy from one dimension into this one? Wouldn't the stress blow the capacitors sky high and generate a remote access singularity that would pull everything within a couple dozen meters into a self-collapsing blackhole?
Or... wait! Is that what the shunt does? Is it an extra-dimensional layer that contains the black hole? But, no, then how do you extract the energy? Or prevent the device from being sucked into the new dimensional space, quickly followed by everything else from our dimension?

Of course, the situation is rather pointless. If anyone on SAB tries to recruit her, the second she realizes they knew about her trigger event, she will likely make them experience what 50X earth's gravity feels like.
