Chapter 6: King of the Cards

Back at the bunker, me and Manda were watching Jordan as she looked over her Xyz Ocean Deck. It was strong deck with some decent cards in it.
Lord Pridmoor then replied, "I do miss my castle, Riley. We need to do all we can to take that fool down once and for all."
His son nodded and I continued to watch me go through my deck and I smiled and replied, "You have one of the best Dragons decks I ever seen, babe. You could win any tournament with the powerful deck you have."
She smiled back at me and replied, "It took a lot of cards to make the deck I always wanted and I'm happy with what I have now."
Riley then replied, "After watching the duel from his private room, he won't want to duel your Deck, Jordan. Who's going to duel here?"
I raised my hand and he replied, "You should have no trouble defeating him."
"I really do hope you can take that armored windbag down. We've been out of our former home for 2 years now. I Can't wait to get back home.", Riley said with a sigh.
"I Won't let any of you down."
Manda then replied, "Cous, if I can ask, how did you decide on a Dragon deck with the cards you used?"
"Of course it's okay to ask, cous."
The others in the room faced me as I started my story, "Ever since I was a little girl, my dad and grandpa took me fishing all around the Southern part of Alabama and in Panama CIty area the Beach area of Florida and each time, had the time of my life. Grandpa Lou asked me what kind of deck I wanted to use, I said a Dragon deck and he was actually supportive of it and wanted to see it before I would start my first tournament. During that time, I searched for the Dragon cards and I finally finished up and then it happened."
I sighed sadly and replied, "Before he had a chance to see me use it, he passed away from a blood clot in his heart and kidney failure. He was only 79 and he was me and my mom's world. After he passed on and we went to his funeral, I decided to keep working on this deck in his honor and finally I added the last 3 cards I wanted for it and I now I can duel with his honor now. I'll use this deck with all my heart and soul and every time I duel with this deck now, I have a little bit of his spirit in my deck at all times and he will be my side for good as well."
Manda sighed and replied, "When Grandpa Lou passed on, It hurt our family too, cous. He was such a amazing guy and I wish I got to know him more, but he was getting sick and we knew we were too late to visit him."
I got up and walked over to her and resumed, "We'll get through this and life together, cous."
She smiled as they both walked up and hugged each other and then Lord Pridmoor nodded and replied, "You are a really noble young lady, Ashlee. You duel with heart and to remember someone you knew and loved is really amazing in my eyes. I think your grandpa would be so proud of you right now."
She smiled at him and then Malory then replied, "Isn't their a rumor they are three ritual duel arenas on this lsland, Lord Pridmoor?"
"I heard about that too, Malory. Duelists from our island have been looking for it for years now and even that Treasure Knight tried his best to look for it and he couldn't even find it as well. It maybe just a rumor, but for our three duelists, we'll keep a ear and a eye out for any information about that them."
Manda then replied, "Awesome. Where should we go for next after this duel, Riley?"
"Riley looked at the maps and Riley nodded and replied, "They should try to go after Specter Knight in the Lich Yard, dad. We've been wanting to go after him for months now and this is our perfect time to strike and then we can finally get that key."
"You always had the best plans, son. Call the Gastromoner and tell him we're ready for dinner, Malory."
She nodded as she got up and left the meeting room.

Later that night in the prison area of the tower, Rose was sitting on a nearby bench.
She sighed and replied, "I was so darn close to defeating that kid. I had the best cards and she gets a lucky draw with that dragon deck."
The back doors opened up and Black Knight walked in and he walked over to Fire Princess's cell and he replied, "You ready to leave now,fire bug? Your time behind bars is over now."
She nodded and replied, "About time I get out of this rathole. Where do I go now?"
"Anywhere you want. The Enchantress wants nothing to do with you since you lost. If you're caught anywhere near our key locations, we'll have you arrested again and be here even longer."
"Gee with a send off like that, I can't wait to be caught by you fools again."
The knight let out his annoying laugh and the spirit nodded and replied, "At least I don't have to worry about hearing that annoying laugh anymore."
She quickly took her duel disk and deck from a nearby table and ran off and he smiled and replied, "Enjoy those cards we gave you, fool."
He saw the newest prisoner and replied, "Our newest prisoner. Welcome to your home for the next 4 days, Rose. I'd give you a lof of treats and happiness and if I did that, this would be more of a vacation instead of a classic imprisonment."
He then let out another laugh and the spirit ignored him as she sat down on her bench and he resumed, "Enjoy your time here and we'll chat tomorrow."
He quickly left the room and she sighed and replied, "Good riddance. I hate that laugh more then losing right now."

That next morning, we were enjoying breakfast in the dining area of the bunker. The cook decided on a meal of eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage gravy over biscuits and juice & milk. Each of the girls loved meat dishes and each loved going to vegan and vegetarian restaurants as well.
I sighed and replied, "This food reminds me of my mom's home cooking. I love it all."
They continued to eat and then Jordan looked at me and replied, "Ready to take that armored pain in the ass today, Ashlee?"
I smiled and replied, "I added a few other cards to my deck last night and I think it's better then before."
I smiled as she went into her shorts left pocket and took out a card in a card sleeve and she replied, "This card might help out your deck more, sweetie."
She handed her me card and I saw it and smiled and replied, "I've been looking for this card for a long now. Thank you so much for such a cool card, my dear."
She smiled to me as I quickly took out of the sleeve and then slid it into my deck and Riley nodded and replied, "I can't wait until he finally falls in true defeat! We've been waiting for years to take that idiot down and you guys are our best plans in order to get the job done."
We all kept on eating and Dennis walked in and Riley saw him and replied, "What's up from the future?"
He sighed and replied, "Those two kids that almost got in trouble for trying to date? They were caught again by that asshole knight. They both got a 1 month with hard labor and they were to sentto different jails in Los Angeles. We need to stop that dark wench before this happens all over the world! The world is a miserable place ever since that horrid woman took it over. We need to stop and seal her up before it gets to that point, dad."
He sighed and replied, "I know, son. I know."
I looked at his son Dennis and I replied, "You have the power to teleport to other eras?"
"I can only check out in 2074 where that Enchantress has taken over everything. Trust me on this. We need you ladies to stop her and those knights from taking over the world!"
"We'll do what we can to save the day, Dennis."
"I really hope so for the futures sake, Ashlee. I Really do hope so."

Inside of the royal arena, Jordan was waiting for King Knight to finally arrive. His knights were already there and they wouldn't let them leave until the duel was over and he had a new knight to help him and it was a Duel Spirit Dawn Knight. Jordan was sitting with Riley and Manda at a nearby table and then Jordan looked around then replied, "Where the heck is he anyway?"
Dawn Knight ran towards the back door and he replied, "Time for you to fall in defeat, lady! You're going to face a very powerful duelist and the true honor of Pridmoor Keep and we're thinking of renaming it to King Keep instead!"
"Don't even think about doing that until you actually win this duel, buddy!", A angry Riley yelled out.
The knight sighed and replied, "Everyone is a critic. We were only kidding around. Take a joke already."
"Stealing their home and throwing them out is not nice in any way and your humor is in pour taste any way!", Jordan yelled out.
"Whatever you say, kid. Time to bring forth our champion! Here he is! the owner and Usurper of Pridemoor Keep! Here is the mighty and powerful King Knight!"
The knights all cheered as the golden armored knight wearing a red cape and wielding a scepter walked into the area as the doors closed behind him and his bodyguard was by his side and he saw the gang and replied, "You the three kids that are giving the Quarter of New Order the trouble we don't need right now. Which one of you I'm I facing today?"
I raised my hand and the Knight nodded and replied, "I've heard of your skills as a Dragon duelist, kid. Let's get this duel done with already, child."
His scepter glowed and then it turned into a golden duel disk made of 24 karat gold and many rare jewels all over the disk and Riley replied, "What a damn showoff he is."
The knight looked at him and resumed, "Petty words coming from a leader that has failed before."
Riley ignored that horrid remark and then he looked back at me and resumed, "Let's get this duel on then."
I nodded as he walked towards them and then both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Game on!", King Knight yelled out.

The Knight nodded and resumed, "I want to beat you and quickly, but I'll let you go first."
I nodded and then looked at my hand and I nodded and resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all I can do for now."
He drew a new card and resumed, "I'm fighting you now. I summon my Lightray Grepher."
He played the card and Grepher's light form (The first one and not that Gemini form) appeared with his glowing white sword (ATK: 1,700).
"Attack the child's facedwn monster."
The warrior went in and my Komouri Dragon appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and his warrior swung his sword and cut the dark dragon in two. The pieces of my former monster shattered to bits.
"Your turn now."
I drew a new card and then my Luster Dragon appeared (ATK: 1,900) and then I pointed as a small burst of green flames shot out and slammed into the chest of his Warrior and he moaned and then shattered into small shards of light (King Knight LP: 8000 - 7800) and I pointed back at him and he drew a new card and replied, "Are you ever going to talk? I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that's my turn now."
I sighed and drew a card and I then replied, "You'll find out the hard way. I summon my Vanguard of the Dragon."
He played the card and my dragon warrior with a spear for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,700) and I pointed and my Dragon let out a small burst of green flames and it shot out and a large bug with many kind of trinkets on its back appeared (DEF: 700) and the flames consumed and burned it to cinders and then he replied, "With Magical Merchant being flipped, I draw cards until I get a Spell Card."
He drew a card and it was a monster and then the next cards was a monster and his 3rd drawn card was a Spell and he discarded the first two cards and added the spell to his hand and then I pointed at him and the knight quickly replied, "I activate my Defense Draw."
The trap appeared and he drew a card and I only sighed and pointed back at him and he drew a card and then he resumed, "I summon my Voltic Kong."
He played the card and a large ape covered in electricity appeared with a small roar-like noise (ATK: 1,800) and then he nodded and resumed, "I now banish a light to summon my Ghost Ship."
He took a light monster (A card he discarded with his Merchant's effect which was The Creator Incarnate) and banished it as a ghostly craft of light appeared (ATK: 1,900) and then he replied, "I activate my Banner of the Light Lords."
He slid the card into a slot and a large beautiful flag glowing white flag appeared (ATK: 1,900 - 2,300) - (ATK: 1,800 - 2,200).
"This card works just like A. Forces but for Spell Cards. Now Ghost Ship, blast away her Vanguard of Dragon!"
Small cannons appeared and firing sound were heard as a shower of glowing white and red ghost-like skulls shot out like screaming missile shot out and and struck my Vanguard and blew it to small pixelated pieces that flew around me.
"Kong, your turn!"
The huge beast roared as a burst of electricity shot out and struck my dragon and cracks formed on his jeweled hide before it shattered into small white shards as well (Ashlee LP: 8000 -7100) and then he resumed, "Since my giant beast did damage to you, you lose 1 card from the top of your deck for each light monster I control."
I nodded and I took both cards (Which were a Samsara Dragon and a Good Goblin Housekeeping card) and discarded both cards.
"Take that, kid! Your move now."
I drew my new card and resumed, "I feel odd about this next monster, but it helps my deck. I now summon my Fairy Archer."
He played the card and a winged Fairy archer appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 2,000) - (ATK: 2,200 - 2,400) - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,500).
"If I don't use her to attack, you take 400 damage for each light monster I control."
The archer aimed and fired as a shower of glowing white arrows rained down on me (Ashlee LP: 7100 - 5900).
"Ghost Ship, attack!"
The ship fired its barrage glowing skulls and my Masked Dragon on the card (DEF: 1,100) and the skull attack plowed into it and blew my dragon to small pieces and then my 2nd Masked Dragon appeared and the huge ape shot more electricity shot out and blasted it to bits and then I nodded and played the card as my Golem Dragon appeared (DEF: 2,000).
"You are a clever young lady. I End my turn now."
i drew my newest card and I activated my Stamping Destruction card and his flag shattered into ripped pieces that flew around (ATK: 2,000 - 1,400) -(ATK: 2,500 - 1,900) - (ATK: 2,400 - 1,800) and small fireballs slammed into his armor (King Knight LP: 7800 - 7300) and I played my Golem Dragon's card and it vanished and as my Des Volstgalph appeared in a shower of dust (ATK: 2,200) and Jordan smiled and resumed, "She's on the right track."
I smiled and then a burst of fiery energy shot out and engulfed his archer and blew it to small pixelated pieces (King Knight LP: 7300 - 6500) and then a 2nd bolt of fiery shot out and slammed into his armor (King Knight LP: 6500 - 6000) and I nodded and then he drew a new card and resumed, "I'll switch my monsters to defense and that's all I can for now."
I drew a new card and resumed, "I summon my Alexandrite Dragon."
I played the card and my beautiful dragon of light appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Attack his monsters my loyal dragons."
Des Votstgalph fired its attack first and it shot out and blew a hole through the center of the ghostly craft before it collapsed into glittery dust & broken timbers and another bolt of energy shot out and slammed into his armor (King Knight LP: 6000 - 5500) and my other dragon roared as a burst of glowing white shards shot out and struck his beast down and it howled in pain before it burst in a shower of sparks.
"That'll do for now."
He drew a card and resumed, "I now activate my Cards of the Light."
The spell appeared.
"I banish 1 light monster from my graveyard and then I draw 2 cards and then I have to banish another light from my hand."
He banished his Lightray Grepher and then drew 2 cards and then took a Skelengel and banished it and then resumed, "I now summon my Lightray Sea Dragon."
It played the card and a beautiful light form of Levair the Sea Dragon appeared. It was a beautiful glowing white serpent with a gold and silver wing (ATK: 1,800).
"If I control no other monsters and I summon this creature, I Can Special Summon 1 Level 4 light monster I Have banished and that would be my Lightray Grepher."
He played the card and the knight of light appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I Overlay my 2 Level 4 Light monsters."
My monsters turned into glowing orbs of light and then a portal of light appeared and the orbs flew into it.
"I I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! I bring forth a warrior of light! I Xyz Summon my Starliege Paladynamo."
He played the card and a armored Warrior appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I remove both Light monsters to drain your dragon of attack power."
He ditched both of its Xyz Material monsters and small fiery cracks of light appeared around my dragon's hide (ATK: 2,200 - 0).
"Take his dragon out!"
It charged in and swung his sword and a blade of pure fiery light shot cleaved through his mighty dragon and it let out a huge roar before it exploded in a shower of dust & small white shards (Ashlee LP: 5900 - 3800).
"Your move now, kid."
I drew a new card and then I switched my Alexandrite Dragon to defense and then I'll set a card and that's all for me.""
The knight drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Dunames Dark Witch."
She played the card and the Fairy of light appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do this. Paladynamo, attack!"
The Xyz swung his swords and twin blades of light shot out and my facedown monster, Which was a Dynamite Dragon (DEF: 1,300) and the blades cut through it and it exploded in a shower of ash & fiery smoke and it shot out and burned parts of his armor (ATK: 2,100 -1,800) and then he resumed, "Dunames, attack!"
The Fairy glowed and then I nodded and resumed, "I Special Summon my Checksum Dragon from my hand."
I played and a large dark dragon appeared (DEF: 2,400) and then I nodded and resumed, "I now gain lifepoints equal to half of my monsters defense score (Ashlee LP: 3800 - 5800).
"You won't beat me, kid! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I activate my facedown."
My facedown card lifted up.
"It's called Dragonic Tribute. I Tribute a Level 5 or higher Dragon monster to Summon any Dragon monster from my hand that can be summoned and that includes my Tri-Horned Dragon."
The trap appeared and the dragon faded away to pixels and the large clawed dragon appeared (ATK: 2,850).
"I attack your Xyz."
My large friend charged in and slashed through the knight and his armor, ripping through the Xyz. The remains fell to the ground in a crumbled heap before dissolving into grains of light (King Knight LP: 5500 - 4450) and he resumed, "When he's destroyed, I draw 1 card."
He did so.
"Your move again."
He drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my Fairy to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that's all for me."
I drew a new card and resumed, "Lancer Windwurm, I bring forth you."
I played the card and my dragon warrior with a small lance for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I attack your Fairy with my Lancer."
It charged in and rammed his spear into the side of the Fairy and blew her to little bits (King Knight LP: 4450 - 3700).
"Tri-Horn, your turn."
The dragon growled as it flew in and a monster I should of seen coming, a Morphing Jar, appeared (DEF: 600) and my dragon smashed it to bits with its claws and I had nothing to discard and neither did the knight and we both drew 5 cards and then I resumed, "Your turn now, Knight."
He drew a card and resumed, "I activate Burial from the Different iDimension."
He took his Lightray Grepher, Magical Merchant and The Creator Incarnate and slid the cards back into his graveyard and he smiled and resumed, "Since you love dragons, I'll show this monster. Since I have 5 or more monsters in my graveyard, I Can Special Summon my Lightray Diabolos!"
He played the card and the light form of Diabolos, King of the Abyss appeared with a mighty and powerful roar (ATK: 2,800) and he resumed, "I now play my Book of Moon on your Tri-Horned Dragon!"
The large book appeared and my tougher dragon roared and was replaced with a facedown monster card.
"I now use Diabolos's effect! I check your facedown card by banishing a light monster and I can place either at the top or bottom of your deck and it's going to the bottom!"
He banished the Xyz monster and then my facedown monster vanished and reappeared below my deck.
"I now summon my Regulus."
He played the card and a beautiful lion of light appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Diabolos, attack with your Ultimate Light Smite!"
The huge dragon roared as a huge fiery burst of light shot and a explosion of fiery light happened in front of my dragon and blew it to small pixelated pieces.
"Regulus, attack!"
The mighty beast went in and I stood my ground as best as I could as his lion struck me down (Ashlee LP: 5800 - 3000).
"Take that, kid! I end my turn now."
I drew my newest card and I smiled and resumed, "Hope your ready for this one. I activate my Call of the Haunted."
The trap appeared and my Des (ATK: 2,200) and I nodded and resumed, "I tribute it for my Strong Wind Dragon."
The desert dragon shattered into dust and my mighty Dragon of the Winds appeared (ATK: 2,400 - 3,600).
"Destroy his Diabolos."
My mighty dragon flapped his mighty wings as a huge storm of heavy winds shot out and slammed into his dragon and it roared in pain before it glowing spots appeared over it before it exploded in a beautiful shower of colorful lights (King Knight LP: 3700 - 2900) and Jordan smiled and resumed, "A little bit more and this duel is over."
"There you go. I End my turn now."
He drew a new card and resumed, "I'll set a card and a monster and I'll switch my Regulus to defense and that's all for me."
I drew a card and then he smiled and resumed, "I activate my Fiendish Chain!"
his facedown monster and a trap appeared and chains shot out and wrapped my dragon up (ATK: 3,600 - 2,400).
"I'll set a card for later and a monster as well and that's all for me."
He drew a card and he resumed, "I flip my facedown monster up."
He did so and his Daybreaker appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I tribute my Daybreaker and Regulus for my Gilford the Lightning!"
Both monster shattered in a burst of shards and the mighty lord of the lightning appeared (ATK: 2,800) and Manda saw the monster and resumed, "What a decent monster there."
"It sure is for me, kid. I now play my Monster Reborn."
He played it and my Des Volstgalph appeared (ATK: 2,200) and Jordan sighed and resumed, "That guy is some nerve."
"Lets do this. Volstgalph, strike down her facedown monster."
The dragon roared as a burst of fiery energy shot out and my Divine Dragon Ragnarok appeared briefly before the energy attack blasted it to bits (Ashlee LP: 3000 - 2500).
"Gilford, attack!"
The warrior swung his sword and a burst of electricity shot out and slammed into my dragon and it roared in pain as the electricity got too much for my mighty dragon before it burst into small green fragments (Ashlee LP: 2500 - 2100).
"Next turn this duel is mine! I end my turn now."
Ashlee drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Chalice Dragon."
She played the card and a large dragon with white and silver scales appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"If I control no monsters, I Can pay 1,000 lifepoints to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Normal monster from my graveyard that is a Dragon."
I glowed with energy (Ashlee LP: 2100 - 1100) and my Luster Dragon reappeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now summon my newest monster thanks to my loving girifriend. I tribute my Mirage Dragon and my Luster Dragon to summon my newest and amaazing monster."
Both dragons faded away into pixels and my monster appeared. It was a large beautiful white-skinned Dragon with green hair around its body with long white whiskers (ATK: 3,200).
"Meet the awesome and powerful Haku the Spirited Dragon."
Jordan smiled and saw the giant dragon and resumed, "I knew you'd use that guy sooer or later."
"Since I used Chalice Dragon to summon a Dragon, I can Special Summon it to your side of the field as well."
My Chalice Dragon appeared on his side of the field (DEF: 1,000).
"I now drop 1,000 lifepoints to summon my final card and that is activate Reign of Fire."
"Lets do this. I attack your monsters with Spiritual Fire Storm."
My dragon let out a powerful and proud roar as it launched a huge storm of hot flames combined with light rained down on his side of the field and all 3 of his monsters were blown to shards as the fiery rain was too much for them (King Knight LP: 2900 - 1500) and I smiled and resumed, "This duel is over. If I destroy a monster thanks to my Reign of Fire's effect, you take 100 damage for each level of the destroyed monsters."
He groaned as bursts of fiery light shot out and slammed into him (King Knight LP: 1500 - 0) and my dragon let out a proud and powerful roar before faded away from the field and Jordan smiled and replied, "Damn good dueling, my dear."
I smiled back as they both kissed each other and then King Knight groaned and replied, "wait in the courtyard and I'll give you everything you won today, young lady."
He nodded as he got up and left.

Cards used by me & others
Reign of Fire / Normal Spell Card

Pay 1000LP and then target 1 Level 7 or higher Dragon monster you control; It can attack all monsters your opponent controls once apiece. Each time this monster destroys a monster in battle, your opponent takes 100 damage x the levels of the destroyed monster.

Chalice Dragon
Dragon/Effect/Light/ATK: 1,600/DEF: 1,000/4 Stars
IF you control this Normal Summoned card and no other monsters, you can pay 1000LP; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Normal Dragon monster from your GY. You cannot Special Summon from your Extra Deck the turn you use this effect, except for Dragon monsters. You can only use the effect of "Chalice Dragon" once per turn. If this card is used to Summon a Dragon monster, you can summon this card to your opponent's side of the field in faceup Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Chalice Dragon" once per Duel.

Haku the Spirited Dragon
Dragon/Effect/Light/ATK: 3,200/DEF: 3,000/8 Stars
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must by Tributed Summoned by tributing a Normal Dragon monster and a Effect Dragon monster from your side of the field who's levels equal 8 and cannot be Summoned by other ways. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.
