The two days back went without incident even if everyone wasn't celebrating about serving. Many were mourning or in setting in rage for being unable to do much while others were still concerned. Knowing this battle wasn't over wondering how long will they be able to hold out during the coming siege. Barely anyone spoke with one another besides those during guard duty or doing night watch.
They were bonding a bit closer as comrades likely going to reform as new parties for either having lost half or more of their members. It seemed to be the case as the reaming priests and priestesses alongside the two squads of knights planned to join said parties. Much like Blake wanting to join him alongside his two valkyries. Mostly because they had a fire lit under them and just couldn't return back to how they used to.
The heads of said branch churches understood why and gave the ones who wished to leave their blessings and permission. Just a bit glad a few were still planning to stay a bit longer before the new brother or sister acolytes. Arrived in the town when they sent their requests to HQ to send more their way. It didn't take long for them to reach the town with the defense garrison saw them. With wide yet grim expressions with some crying seeing the ones they'd cared about, family members or comrades didn't return.
As well was also able to tell that they weren't in a celebrity mood as Inoa alongside himself and the remaining commanders followed her toward the Mayor's estate within the noble district. Yet from Leon's face and few others saw a very luxurious carriage and what may as well be a company of royal knights all females. Likly someone important was here through Leon's face.
For just a moment looked grim before changing to a calm yet bit saddened expression. It made sense to him at least considering all these female knights smell just like the succubus before. As well gave off monstrous mana to each of them that only he and his Valkyires noticed as they subtly prepared for a fight. Yet they palled in comparison to the very strong and powerful aura coming from the three-story white mansion.
Covering the entire mansion and most of the mile estate in her aura that's currently surprised. Though likely not giving her best effort as if she didn't seem to care as they were all escorted to the Mayor's office to give their report alongside Inoa's
Within the office itself stood three women of various ages and sizes but the one in royal clothing. Was the owner of said aura blocking the entire estate as she looked human but didn't fool his nor Brunhilde and Kremhild's eyes. Likly the girl no Demon knew that as well as she gave an amused smirk before running towards Leon as she spoke up going to hug her.
? "Oh Leon glad you returned back safely to me~," she said in a bit cute yet slightly temptress tone as she embraced into a hug. While subtlety got under her attire like always. With one of her hands and easily bit harshly stuck a finger into Leon's whispering eye that was damo by her very presence. As well her lewd crest above her whispering eyes glowed pink.
Leon "Princess you're here?" she let out a slight surprise epp while hugging the princess back while bit weakly and subtly trying to get her unfortunate corrupted demon mistress to stop. Giving her a subtle bit slight brief glare, causing her mistress to stop knowing she wasn't going to have mercy for going against her.
Dahlia (29yrs) "Yes the 8th princess of the Lescatie Royal Family, Lute along with her personal royal guard that you once trained called Black Rose Guard,"
Dahlia "Former knight as the Holy Guard being males like you were once. Had arrived here two hours before you all did," she informed Leon and everyone else honestly and professional tone while setting her a few documents.
That Lute had given her on her arrival and in turn for the past hour with Erica as her guard for the day was trying although out of line. To get the princess to agree or persuade her to let her guard stay for the town as extra protection
Erica (17yrs) "Mayor Dahlia isn't wrong about her arriving early than you did master, though glad you are safe," she said to her happily and honestly with a smile on her face
Inoa "I see Well I wish we could say we bring good news but that isn't the case,"
Princess Lute (15yrs/human?) "Oh why is that?" she merely asks honestly while giving her Leon a bit of space, knowing she's going to have to punish her once this was over her
Leon "Let's just say princess the emergency quests didn't go as we wished and now we need to prepare for a siege of the city,"
Leon "Considering the powerful succubus will certainly reform her stamped force. Even if it's not as large as the one we fought and lost many good men. As well women so it'll still be a very dangerous and organized stampede force,"
Dahlia "I see..., Guild master Inoa please explain what Holy Knight Leon ment by that?" she asked very serious tone having sat down by her chair while Lute sat on Leon's lap.
Inoa "Okay so to explain..." She as well as Hajime and the others began to explain what happened during the battle and how it was going before finally having to take the call to retreat. It took hours for Vault, Leon, Hajime, the branch order church heads, Inoa, and Griffith to explain everything before
Griffith "...and that's pretty much it after Hajime and his remained forces linked up back with us,"
Griffith "So you can see why despite dealing devastating losses to the enemy, we've failed our mission to complete the emergency quest,"
Griffith "And now we're under threat of a siege that is coming Mayor Dahila," he fished recounting while saying in a serious but calm tone despite having lost most of his party minus Casca
Princess Lute "Well I guess Mayor Dahila, it seems you were right in trying to convince me to have my personal guard. Stay in this town where my Leon spends most of her time away from me. Helping her party that she'd created to defend this town,"
Leon "Please my lady, can you heed the mayor of this town your support? If not for her then at least the ones living within this town," she asks and slightly pleads with her with an honest tone
Hajime "I'm sure should you do this Princess, you would not only have the town be forever in your debt,"
Hajime "Willing to come to your aid at your beck and call no matter how dire or grim the situation,"
Hajime "You may find yourself in the future, considering this town always produces great adventures and great revenue for you,"
Hajime "I'm sure our Mayor will be willing to negotiate how much of this town's annual revenue you'll gain into your pocket,"
Hajime "Along with that fact, I'm sure it'll be a great step for you to prove your family. As well fellow siblings you are more than a sheltered princess as you'd announce yourself. To the race of how will be able to take the throne with all of us supporting you,"
Princess Lute "Well I would like to prove to my older siblings that I'm not helpless and need protecting. Alright, I'll have my guards stay here to help you defend the town with Leon and her party on my side,"
Dahila "I'm forever grateful princess," she says slightly revived yet respectful giving a bow to her
Vault "Well in that case since everyone is here already. Shall we begin our strategy in holding the town not just from the stampede coming our way, but likely monsters from the forest? As well from the nearby dungeon within the said forest as I have no doubt they'll see this as a time to attack,"
Griffith "I'd concur with my fellow commander's suggestion since the only ones powerful enough. As well ability to lead are those within this room,"
Princess Lute "I'm sure this town will be in perfect hands with My Leon and all you defending it. I And Mayor Dahila believe your abilities as neither of you will let us down,"
Inoa "We'll be sure to not disappoint Princess Lute and Mayor Dahila,"
Hajime/Vault/Griffith/Leon/Head of the Order Branches "This we swear!" they all said in unison and honesty while bowing to both of them
It didn't take them long for their discussion on the best strategy for defending their home. As well as a rationing plan for the entire town as their expected to be surrounded from all sides. To hold out before other adventures or mercenaries come to aid them to break them out and perhaps end this once and for all.

...2 hours later leaving the estate...
After everyone excused themselves to get some needed rest for the battle coming ahead. It was then Leon had caught up to them just as they were about to leave. Asking if they could have a moment of their time sounded slightly desperate yet serious with a grim expression.
They weren't alone as moving above them on the second floor were the Princess, Inoa, and Dahila talking. With Lute merely giving a side glace towards their direction and Leon having a very knowing yet eerie lustful smirk that her eyes. Just for a moment showed what she really was before returning to her normal color and interacting with the two main leaders of this town again.
So they accepted her request as they moved towards a different room within the mansion and closed the door behind them. After locking the door with Kremhild and Brunhild subtle anti-scrying & silencing runes to prevent anyone from hearing what they may discuss here. Leon spoke up with a grim yet determined expression looking at him
Leon "...Hajime, thus town will fall," she simply said to him
Hajime "*Sigh* I'm assuming you're saying that because of your mistress and her guard outside being within the town's walls right?" he said slightly serious yet knowing tone while looking at her
Leon "It's that but the Succubus leading the stampede is most certainly a member of her guard. I'd become more certain of it considering my mistress is currently here and not within the capital itself,"
Kremhild "Well lady Leon what do you plan on for Hajime and us to do exactly? As your master isn't as weak she portrays her as much less the small company she has outside the windows?"
Brunhild "The town won't exist should myself, my younger sister, and Hajime decide to fight them,"
Brunhild "And even then, Hajime might have to reveal what he is and that could change things in a big way,"
Brunhild "For both good and bad against the Overlord's forces, even he isn't ready to face that monster or her traitorous hero husband,"
Brundhilde "Nor the chief goddess herself. That is just something he's not willing to do even if he could save this town at the risk he'll be hounded by both sides instead of just being a Hero,"
Leon "I merely have a request of Hajime, but can you promise to keep my party members safe escorting them to Lephina's Kavine town? That she's the mayor of and where her forces are living," she asks no requests of him while her body shakes in slight fear but angered at herself
Hajime "... You're not including yourself in that is Leon?"
Leon "...Yes...Can you grant this former Holy Knight and Man's request for not allowing?"
Leon "The girls he's been a part of for years, bonded over and formed a comradery with,"
Leon "Not becoming something they don't desire preferring death over such disgrace. Or rather protect them from me and my mistress herself?" she asks yet says in a serious manner looking him in the eye.
With a self-deprecating gaze with slight hope within her long-dead eyes that have lost their light long ago
Hajime "You're a complete idiot oh Holy Knight of ours. Yet still one of the people I respect even if you'd long accepted your descent to the other side,"
Hajime "You have my word I'll make sure nothing happens to Oliva and the others. I'll make sure to let them know of this final act of yours even when you've become the very thing you sought to destroy,"
Leon "I..thank you...thank you!" she said with hopeless yet grateful tears coming down her eyes as she struggled to hold herself together.
Only for it to not matter in the end as Hajime brought her into a hug and gave her a shoulder to cry on. The tears and cries she shredded out contained such power and remorse for many years. Of likely untold abuse, devotion, regret, the last amount of hope she had, and fear she'd kept within her. Finally, unleash upon him as Kremhild and Brunhilde had to look away.
With their hands turning into fists hearing such painful cries at the former beaten man who was once a Hero in the making. Reduced to what's in front of him in between her cries. Recounted the pain and hope she had under her princess hoping for someone, anyone to come to her aid. In her futile quest of perhaps turning her mistress into a human once more. No one said or spoke a single word during the 10 minutes as Leon cried herself to sleep upon Hajime's shoulder.
In doing so Hajime gently picked her up in a princess carry and placed her on the luxurious couch. Before they finally left not before closing the door behind them as they all turned to look the steps walking down. With a happy smile on her face as they saw the Princess stop to look at them. All of them glared at the monster in human flesh all waiting nothing more than to eradicate her. But stopped hearing the princess's tone
Princess Lute "Quite the cute glares the lot of you have~. Realy don't know what I did to deserve such ire from the three of you?" she said to them in a bit amused yet curious tone with a slight lustful smirk.
Hajime "You should be grateful that we don't take off that pretty little head of yours DEMON! As your existence and those you've bought with are only alive because I allow it to be so," he said towards her with venom and malice with cold expression looking at something beneath his feet.
Lute only saw them leave after that as they rudely excused themselves yet still had that slightly lustful yet amused smirk
Princess Lute (What an interesting alp or is it incubus? In any case best cheek up against my Leon since it's time for her punishment again~) She'd thought in a very amused yet curious tone wondering how she should ravage or defile her favorite onna-hole this time. Knowing for certain it shouldn't be long now for the love of her life to become one of her kin.
Two days later, Anti-Monster State/Religious Kingdom of Lescatie, Eastern Entrance, April 19th 409 N.O 11 am
The town was in an uproar with evacuations of those who desired to leave and those who decided to stay and fight. As it was for the past two days as defenses were being stepped up and quests put on hold. It was all a blur for everyone as only those who couldn't leave or declined to fight were the ones left in this once thriving trading town. With those leaving given thier word to inform them what was going on in hopes of getting more help.
Yet there was only one thing that they remembered very clearly yesterday. When they saw Leon again speaking with her party having some of the princess guards around her. They felt sadness and anger knowing she wasn't the Leon they knew anymore. As the power and aura around her had changed for the worse despite being leagues more powerful.
Leon much of seen them and walked towards them with a smirk but her eyes contained primal desire and sadness as she stopped in front of them. Only simply waving towards them with a slightly lustful yet sad smirk asking them to remember their promise to her. They'd simply nodded to her in response seeming pleased with their as she waved goodbye to them as she heard back with her party.
With the party themselves waving towards them as well as not being the wiser of their exchange. They'd left soon after knowing even if a bit of the Leon they knew existed there, she wasn't the same person anymore.
Only ruled now by lust, love, and desire he had seen many times before. Likly held herself back from showing her true self now in front of them and everyone likely under orders from her demon mistress. During those two nights, he was very reasonable yet he'd released his frustrations upon his monster girl harem not caring for a moment. Thus came the day as he alongside Kremhild, Brunhild, and Blake, the first-line defenders outside the eastern gate. And some of the princesses guard with them soon saw in the horizon. The stampede they were awaiting and preparing for as their numbers weren't the same size. And yet they saw new monsters mixed within the group with the usual Slimes and Goblins.
Yet what had changed though as much to everyone's dream and unpleasant surprise was that they were waving the Overlord's flag. As well much to the slight confusion the crest of Princess Lute. But that confusion was soon rectified as the princess gaurd revealed their true selves as Succubuses of equal or slightly lesser strength than the one leading the stampede.
And soon attacked he defined forces outside and within the town itself plunging it into disarray. In turn, that just ment Hajime didn't have to worry about the others questioning him why he easily taking the Succubus with relative ease. Dodging and evading their attacks while delivering a bullet to their heads as he alongside his valkyries went to save Blake. Who was struggling against a succubus trying to force itself upon her much like others around her were. As the beginning pleas and unwanted moans were starting to be heard.
It wasn't a surprise to them that was the case as these succubus alone were already more powerful than the town's defenders. With the exception of a few but even they would fall having to fight more than two at once. Not them though as they quickly saved Blake while telling her to keep up which she did even if her attire was torn revealing her red lace thong and a bit of her left bare breasts.
Sure enough, going into the town just as the stampede force no the Overlord's force was upon their outer eastern defenses. He nor Kemhhild and Brunhilde didn't doubt that the monsters in the forests were also coming in force as they could Harpies in the distance. Being very close than usual they were from their mountains.
Alongside other variants of harpies and other flight-capable monsters. Screams and cries were being rang out through the town as they moved toward where the knightly roses were. Alongside the remainder of the Black Dogs and White Falcon parties being the forest force.
Killing Succubuses and saving civilians that they could as they continued running through a battle-intensive town. All had grim expressions having seen the mayor of this town flying around casing down some poor knights as a lesser succubus. Having a good idea of who may have transformed her into such a thing. Soon though they'd run into Inoa trying to fight off four succubi at once while trying to cover a group of civilians to get away.
So he merely shouted at her
Hajime "Duck!" he shouted out as he'd fired Donner & Schalg towards the Succubus. I turn Inoa did as such while jumping backward toward them seeing the heads of all four succubus get pierced. Likly not having expected such an attack by their confused and dumbfounded expressions thinking their skin would've blocked such bullets. Would've if they were his ammunition bullets that's for sure.
Inoa "Hajime, what's the situation on the eastern side!" she asked him with a grim but serious tone running alongside him toward the forest area
Hajime "Likly the same as everywhere else being surprised and attacked by Princess's Lute forces. Though in our case overrun now as the stampede had appeared in our sights with these succubuses attacked,"
Hajime "The town has fallen Guild master, at the moment trying to make my way towards the forest garrisons. As Leon's last favor. In trying to protect and save her party from getting out of this mess.
Hajime "Likly head towards Kavine Town if we're successful as a form of regrouping point and inform everyone of the situation here," he said honestly and seriously with a strong gaze as he tag-teamed with Inoa taking down two more Succubuses trying to violate some young oy. Likly onee-sans having a fetish for such things much to their disgust.
Inoa "...I see. In that case, go and try to save as many as you can while I direct survivors to the west entrance,"
Inoa "While we still can before we're surrounded, I'll meet you there and the others," she said to him seriously with a slightly angry yet authoritative tone as they'd stopped at a crossroad moving out of the way of children and older civilians running in the opposite direction where they came from.
Hajime "Good luck to you Guild Master,"
Inoa "You as well Hajime,"
At that, both went in separate directions as Inoa began to command other adventurers and save civilians in hopes of directing others to the West. Saying they'll be saved there as they have a caravan to get them out of here.
It didn't take a minute to reach the eastern gate only to see it overrun by monsters from the forests. And the Lute's succubus forces still continued killing and saving who they could telling them to head for the western entrance. Only for their hearts to sink a bit at seeing Leon or rather Leon's new demon form alongside Princess Luet easily dodge and weave the attacks of Knightly Roses, Griffith, Casaca, Vault, and his second in command.
Seeing the distraught and angered expressions of Knightly Roses with Lily their hearts and emotions are in disarray. With their fury directed at who they thought was their ally and royalty knowing it was her who transformed to what Leon is now.
So they went in knowing they wouldn't last long as he moved towards Leon while Kremhild and Brunhilde went for the kill upon Lute. Both seeing this changed their demeanor and got serious really quickly having just avoided fatal attacks.
Lute bleeding a bit from her right arm thigh, while Leon has bullet holes on her arm and thighs. But otherwise everded or locked they're attacks or bullets, as Kremhild and Brunhilde didn't give Lute a time to take a break as their battle took to the air. While he was in front of everyone blocking Leon from getting towards them, untold numbers of monster girls flowed out of the forest to attack the fallen town.
Griffith "Hajime..." he merely said slightly tired getting up once more
Vault "I guess if you're here that means the worst has occurred huh?" he also said getting up once more yet also tired
Hajime "...Head towards the western gate, guild master's orders is to evacuate as many as we can. I'll handle Leon," he simply said to them without looking back keeping Leon in his sights. While all the other monster girls seemingly stopped beside Leon almost as if waiting for a signal. Despite moans, battle cries, and pleas were happening all around them.
The others couldn't say anything more than biting the insides of their mouth in frustration and helplessness. Before simply nodding toward him and running back while trying to save as many as they could. It was then he heard Leon's voice ring out despite her vastly corrupt appearance
Leon "Hajime~," she said to him in madding affection yet having a very amused but smirking simile.
Her appearance didn't change much save for a few things. One of her armor was gone changed to a very lewd bikini armor. In black barely covering her nipples that weren't rosy pink but purple. With most of her body exposed with a pink pastie barely covering her leaking pussy and her lewd crest glowing pink. With an open black lace body suit covering from the waist down.
Her skin had changed to pure dark brown with her eyes being crimson with demonic pupils within them. With her having black armored heel boots with red outlines. Her fingernails were golden with 4ft long and black demonic wings emerged from just above her exposed ass. As well her ears had gone from human to pointed demon-like. She emmited power likely being a very powerful Demon. Or rather this was her original strength as a Holy knight, only she regained it back with her transformation and then some.
Hajime "You may have the same face as her but you are completely different my friend...Since I know for a fact this desperation and lust directed at me isn't something she wouldn't do,"
Leon(Demon Dark Knight) "Oh that's because my previous self was a prude and idiot feel conflicted about her feelings for you being a man once," she said with a sensual yet amused tone with eyes filled with desire and love.
Hajime "Perhaps yet hope you know neither you nor those behind you are getting past me," he merely said with narrowed eyes as his cross velts behind to appear behind him aiming at everyone.
He also aimed his Donner & Schlag at Demon Leon who merely smiled as she'd summoned a demonic yet two-handed long sword giving purple and purple aura. While all the other monster girls were preparing themselves to go for him or others still trying to get out of the town. Including the various Harpies or other winged monster girls just approaching the town's airspace.
Leon "Well dana-sama, you're welcome to try to put up a fight even with your incubus features. You will be mine~,"
Soon without word or signal the battle commented as the skies and ground roared with gunfire, the cries of agony or death, various monster girls avoiding the best they could or trying to retreat for a bit. As shock waves erupted in the skies Leon and Hajime waved through their attacks or tried to dodge them. Injuring or in Hajime's case killing harpies or other winged monster girls caught in their crossfire. And yet there was a difference to them even on the surface they looked evenly matched.
Leon fired magical beams toward Hajime only for them to be dispelled by Hajime's bullets connecting with them. In turn, Leon had to dodge last second Hajime's bullets thinking she'd avoided or parried them. It would've hit her but still nicked her causing her a bit of bruising or cut before it healed up. Some said bullets got past her magical defenses.
The battle of dodge, attack, feint, retreat, and counter began between them with Leon having excitement in her eyes laughing madly. While Hajime case looked at her with slightly saddened but cold eyes. He continued this farce of a battle when he could've ended any time should he desire to. Hell, he was only using his cross velts on the other monster girls. Never once directed them to attack Leon since the opening barrage.
All the while chaos still reigned below with the town being overrun by the Lute's army and monster girls from the forest and likely dungeon as well. Most of the survivors were heading toward Kavine Town.
Hajime only gave a quick glance to the barely departing caravan of survivors. Before giving another glace to the Valkyrie sisters wining their ariel battle of thier own against the princess. Said Demon Princess Lute having an ever-displeased expression as she tried to bring down valkyries. Barely hanging on by luck and her instincts against the veteran sisters. Trying their best to kill her unlike himself with Leon and not because she was once his friend or had feelings for her.

Lephina and the remaining Knighly Roses party alongside Valut, Griffith, and Casca were running toward their brave comrade. Kremhild and Brunhid set him down before going back into the air for air patrol around the caravan.

Much like the other Knighly roses are currently. Knowing they were going to lose another friend or the man. As well as how they failed in protecting everyone leaving everyone behind who couldn't join them in their escape towards Kavine. With some then and there promising to themselves to take such a town back from the monsters.
