For clarification, here are Rainer's three forms.

Human werewolf form: looks like a human but with wolf ears on top of his head, sharp and pointy canines that poked out of his mouth and small claws for fingernails. His nose is like Fionna and Simon's.

Monster Werewolf form: is what you'd expect when you hear the word werewolf. Large, buff, white furred bipedal wolf monster with large claws, razor sharp teeth and pupilless red eyes.

Wolf form: just a wolf with white fur and red eye sclera with slit pupils. Only this form can change sizes at will.

So if I say any of these forms, you know what I'm talking about. Also, Rainer is around 18 years old. He's a young adult.

Also, SPOILERS FOR NEW EPISODES.

Enjoy.

In Farmworld.

Rainer groaned as he opened his eyes. The smell of corn and blood assaulted his nose as he noticed he was laying in a corn field on some corn. He was confused as to why he was here until he saw Fionna, Cake and Simon and remembered what happened.

'Right, I was fighting that red guy and he used that metal thing.' Rainer thought before turning to the palm of his hand that should have a hole inside, but surprisingly, there was nothing there. Not even a scar. It didn't even sting. 'Super healing, of course.'

Rainer groaned loudly, gaining the attention of the rest of the group. They all turned to him and Cake was the first to speak.

"Rise and shine, wolf boy!" She said cheerfully with her hands on her hips before getting a glare from Rainer. "Someone's grumpy."

"Werewolf Prince! We were just talking about a way we can get magic back to our world." Said Fionna cheerfully with an abnormally happy smile as Rainer noticed blood on her clothes. "Want me to catch you up to speed? And how's your hand by the way?"

Rainer grunted before signing something to Fionna. Fionna, who didn't know sign language, was very confused. However, Simon was there for the rescue.

"*Sigh* I know it's unfair that you've been dragged into this without knowing anything, but whatever the Scarab will do to them he'll do to you." Replied Simon calmly. "Your best bet to avoid a painful death is working with us."

Whatever. Signed Rainer with a tired sigh. Fionna and Cake saw this and were still very confused as, again, neither of them knew sign language.

"Uhh, about that hand motion talk..." Said Cake calmly as she approached Rainer. "Can't you just...normal talk like how you yelled at that red guy from before when he called you an embarrassment?"

Rainer instinctively clenched his fist on the ground upon hearing the last word Cake said, leaving visible claw marks on the corn, plant stems and even the dirt lying under them. Cake saw this and took a lot of steps back in fear.

"Uhh, forget what I said..." She said with a nervous smile as she clung to Fionna for dear life. She didn't want to have a close meeting with those claws if they can do that at their weakest. "please?"

Unlike Cake, Fionna didn't consider Rainer a threat. "C'mon, Werewolf Prince. There has to be a better way to communicate. Only Simon knows sign language."

Rainer didn't reply as he noticed he still had the drawing tablet and stylus from before. He quickly turned it on and ignored how the battery symbol had an infinity sign as he drew one word on the screen in neat handwriting.

"Ooh, magic tablet. Guess that solves that problem. Hmm, Rainer? Is that your name, Werewolf Prince?" Asked Fionna as she read the word on the tablet. Rainer nodded, causing Fionna's eyes to become starry for some reason. "Nice handwriting by the way."

Rainer didn't reply as he covered his body with his cloak and put its hood over his head. He didn't feel safe.

"We'll fill you in on the way. Let's go." Said Fionna cheerfully as she gestured for Rainer to follow.

As Fionna and Cake walked forwards, Simon and Rainer stayed behind for a second as Simon noticed a scarecrow with clothes to replace his current ice king ones.

"Go on ahead, I'll only take a minute." Said Simon tiredly, prompting Rainer to follow Fionna and Cake with a nod.

And then, Fionna decided to fill him on what he missed which wasn't much. They travelled to another universe to escape the Scarab and their plan was for them to find another magic crown and turn Simon back into ice king. Rainer, who knew all that Simon went through, didn't think that was a good idea. But he didn't have anything better, so he stayed silent and pulled out his drawing tablet to doodle a little. He decided to draw Simon and Ice King.

He got so invested in the drawing he didn't notice Fionna taking off her bloodied shirt and putting on a shoulder armour piece or Simon rejoining them or everyone looting a wreckage or much of what happened around that time frame. The tablet had a surprisingly vast collection of tools that consumed Rainer's attention.

"You two look conspicuous. We should keep a low profile until we know what's what." Said Simon calmly before turning to Rainer. "Just look at Rainer, he's all cloaked... except for the tablet."

"I've played a lot of post apocalyptic RPGs. The more loot the better." Replied Fionna nonchalantly.

Simon sighed before turning to Rainer and getting curious about what he was drawing. The former ice king decided to take a peek and saw something unexpected.

"Is that a...gouache painting of me having a mental breakdown with...ice king laughing maniacally behind me?" Simon asked in shock. He didn't even know how Rainer knew about Ice King or how he could draw so fast on top of not knowing how to process the piece of art itself. Simon thought of it as a great work of art, but the topic touched a nerve. "Great... drawing."

Rainer frowned as he took a few steps away from Simon, not feeling safe before he saved the drawing and put away his tablet.

Rainer didn't communicate for the rest of the journey until the group made it to a post apocalyptic looking city. There, Rainer quickly realized which universe they were in from the noses. It was Farmworld. A universe where the crown they were looking for was supposedly destroyed by the Lich bomb.

Maybe it survived? Thought Rainer absentmindedly. It did survive the Lich's comet in that one episode.

The werewolf didn't know or have the desire to speak up about the crown situation and thus stayed silent.

"I feel right at home." Remarked Fionna as she admired the post apocalyptic wasteland city.

"Yeah, man." Added Cake cheerfully. "You stick out like a sore thumb."

Hearing Cake the Cat talking, someone spoke. "The cat talked! It must be magic!"

"Ha! Everybody knows there's been no magic since the days of the snowman." Remarked another person.

Rainer raised a brow at the word "Snowman" as Simon told Cake to act like a normal cat before finding a library. Was that what they called ice Finn? Rainer couldn't ponder the question for long as he was soon met with what the locals called a funeral hosted by the destiny gang. The werewolf's eyes narrowed at the destiny gang, the people who give this world most of its misery.

Why couldn't they have died when the Lich appeared? Rainer thought with a frown.

Before Rainer could even blink, Fionna had already started terrifying random people with questions about the ice crown. Rainer had no other option than to follow her madness even as she got scammed by this world's choose goose leading to Cat using her stretching power in public for everyone to see which in turn forced them to hide in dark alleyway.

Rainer knew this would have consequences, but it wasn't like he could do something about it. So he simply waited for the worst to happen.

"Ooh, I'ma eat that cat." Said some child who had a buff guy with metal replacing his hair. "Then when I get magic fist, Daddy will have to make me gang leader! Trauma Jon."

As the buff guy, or Trauma Jon, approached them, Rainer felt his werewolf instincts flare up. They were furiously telling him to win which made Rainer frown. Which would he rather, deal with his brain screaming for victory until the situation is resolved or finish it quickly and not deal with his werewolf side.

Seeing Fionna try to fight Trauma Jon only to get flicked away nonchalantly, Rainer was forced to choose the latter. He quickly approached Trauma Jon and raised his foot before kicking Trauma Jon in the stomach with enough force to send him flying and through a couple walls.

The kid that was with Trauma Jon stared at Rainer in utter fear and panic and Rainer couldn't blame him. He probably looked like a monster to him.

"S-stay back! I-if you h-hurt me, the destiny gang will never l-let you go!" The boy said, quaking in fear as he pointed a knife at Rainer.

That doesn't threatening. Rainer thought raising a brow before a blonde boy fell from somewhere between him and the kid who wanted to eat Cake and stole his knife.

"Can't take a loss, bully boy." Said the blonde kid confidently as he pointed the knife at the other kid.

Before Rainer could blink, a girl Rainer remembered seeing with the leader of the destiny gang appeared the same way the blonde kid did a second ago 1 for 1. The blonde called her Little Destiny while she called him Jay.

Rainer didn't pay attention to much else of what they said before he was forced to run with the rest of his group and Jay to outside the city. Once they were safe, the group started talking with Jay. Rainer was going to sit this one out, but Jay had other ideas.

"By the way, how did do that kick?" He asked cheerfully, causing Rainer's ears to perk up.

Rainer blinked. He glanced at Cake for a second before taking off the hood over his head to reveal his ears, causing Jay to gasp.

"You're one of wolf queen's?" He asked excitedly. "I thought you guys never come out of your home forest."

"Wolf queen?" Asked Fionna curiously.

"Must be apocalypse Rainer." Remarked Simon calmly.

"Another one?" Muttered Cake nervously as she glanced at Rainer.

I can hear you. Thought Rainer tiredly.

"I heard that wolf queen's forest is the only place in the world with magic left, is that true?" Asked Jay cheerfully only for Rainer to shrug as if saying he doesn't know. "Can't say, huh?"

Before another word could be said, the whole group finally made it to Jay's house to meet his dad who turned out to be Finn of all people. Rainer never expected to meet a cartoon character he adored in his childhood, but that was mild compared to what he's been in recently. Still, as soon as his eyes fell on the old rugged Finn he could feel a once lost spark flicker into life inside him before flickering away once more.

Finn allowed them to settle for a bit in his house. Once Rainer looked inside, he saw that Finn had three more children.

Once they sat down, Bonnie, one of Finn's kids spoke. "Woah, wolf guy." She said in surprise before noticing Cake.

"Dad, there's a cat at the table." Said one of Finn's children.

"The cat is also a guest." Replied Finn calmly as he prepared soup.

"Oh, hi cat." Said Bonnie cheerfully.

"Hey, cutie." Replied Cake cheerfully, surprising Bonnie.

As everyone started to talk, Rainer got into his usual habit of leaving the conversation and focusing on something else. He pulled out his tablet and started drawing. He started to draw Finn and his family. The piece had to invoke a certain feeling, homey and natural one. So he did a drawing of the house with Finn and his kids littered around each doing something different. Some were playing, some were doing chores and some were laying around. It looked like if someone took a snap of one moment of their day to day life and made it into a drawing.

"*Gasp* is that us?" Asked Bonnie with starry eyes nearly causing Rainer to jump out of his seat.

"How do you draw so fast?" Asked another of Finn's kids cheerfully.

"Can we keep it?" Asked another of Finn's kids cheerfully.

Rainer, who was very overwhelmed by the questions turned to the tablet and saw the print option. He pressed it and chose the paper option before his drawing, now on paper, slid out of the tablet. Seeing this, Bonnie quickly took the drawing with a bright smile before all of Finn's kids stared at his work excitedly. They were all...so happy with the drawing.

Seeing this, Rainer's lips couldn't help but curl up slightly into a small, but genuine smile.

That smile disappeared when the topic of the crown started as they ate some delicious soup. Finn quickly became angry and told them to leave at first light before storming off upstairs leaving the four multiverse hoppers to sleep in the barn.

For his first night of sleep ever since he became a werewolf, Rainer was forced to test which of his forms was better for sleep as he was a very light sleeper and was sleeping next to three other people and not in his room. Sleeping in these conditions normally wasn't a possibility for Rainer so he tried everything.

His monster werewolf form was the least comfortable, followed by his human werewolf form and the most comfortable was his wolf form. And so, Rainer turned into a small wolf and layed on a pile of hay as if it was a bed. It proved good enough as Rainer slowly dozed off into the land of sleep.

Then, in the middle of the night, Jay woke them up to tell them about where his father had found the crown. Rainer transformed into his human werewolf form as he recalled what happened to the crown. The crown should've been in a giant crater by now. And just as he thought, Jay said the crown was in a crater and the boy wanted to lead them there.

The trip to the crater was largely uneventful. It was once they made it there that things happened. At first, they didn't know where the crown was. But they had two excellent noses on their team. Simon explained that he associated the crown with the smell of freshly cut grass and Rainer and Cake got to work.

The crown was quickly found, but sadly it was in charred pieces.

"That's not fair!" Exclaimed Cake angrily.

Guess that bomb did what the comet couldn't. Thought Rainer calmly.

"It seems like it was destroyed by very powerful magic or something even worse." Said Simon calmly as he pulled out Prismo's remote. "We're going to have to look in another universe."

"Gimme that." Said Cake with a frown.

Rainer decided to not listen to any bickering and tried to zone out once again, but then he noticed Little Destiny behind Jay and the other noticed it soon after. They tried to warn Jay before the unpredictable happened, Jay and Little Destiny kissed.

Immediately, Rainer decided to put on his hood and act as if he had seen nothing. Their romance was not his business. That line of thought was completely opposite of Fionna and Cake who just had to listen to their story before Little Destiny went into a coughing fit because of a mysterious illness. This was also none of Rainer's business.

"You should really tell your dad." Said Jay worriedly.

"No. Being weak is NOT an option." Replied Little Destiny firmly.

What was Rainer's business, however, was the destiny gang arriving at the scene looking down on them from the edge of the crater.

"That's right, my traitorous daughter." Said Big Destiny, Little Destiny's father and the leader of the destiny gang. "Weakness IS worse than coughing death."

"See? I told you. She's been doing mouth high fives with our enemies!" Exclaimed Little Destiny's short brother, who Rainer barely remembered as the kid he terrified yesterday.

"Here's your reward." Replied Big Destiny calmly before kicking his son into the crater nonchalantly. "Father of the year."

Rainer's eye twitched upon seeing Big Destiny kick his son that way. He focused so hard on that one action he didn't even notice he was getting tied up by the destiny gang with Cake as the rope.

Simon said something about the remote, but Rainer really wasn't paying attention to that. All his attention was on Big Destiny like a beast watching its prey.

He didn't care about the ice crown jewel that was the source of Little Destiny's illness or Finn arriving or Jay trying to prove his love or Little Destiny believing him. He only cared about Big Destiny and watching how he treated his kids. How he belittled and made fun of what she liked, how he didn't care about her safety, how he tried to make her do things against her will. It all made him angry. VERY angry. And with his werewolf's desire of victory, that feeling was amplified.

He transformed into his wolf form and shrank down, escaping from his binding before turning back into his human werewolf form and walking towards Big Destiny. Once the gang leader was in arm's length, Rainer stopped and caught the man's neck with his hand.

"Huh? What? Some kid?" Asked Big Destiny upon seeing Rainer, who was fully cloaked, before trying to get the werewolf's hand off his neck to no avail. Rainer's grip was too strong. "Hey! Get off!"

Just thinking about how that man was treating his kids made something burn inside him. He was furious and with every passing second he glared at the man he was getting even more angry. Rainer transformed into his monster werewolf form with the man still in his hand.

"W-w-what?" Asked Big Destiny in shock and fear as he tried to escape the grip of the monster holding him like a toy and glaring at him. "L-let me go! O-or else!"

Everyone froze as they watched Rainer put Big Destiny's head inside his gaping maw as if he was possessed.

Everyone could hear Big Destiny begging for his life, screaming and writhing around trying to find a way to live. But that meant nothing to Rainer.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock as Rainer chomped down on the man's head, separating it from his body with a bloody splatter that stained the werewolf's teeth red before he spat out the man's head as if it was a piece of scrap stuck between his teeth.

Seeing their boss get decapitated in front of their very eyes was enough to send them away screaming as Rainer transformed back to his human werewolf form, with his hood off, with a shocked expression. He touched one of his teeth with his index finger before staring at said finger in absolute shock.

He killed someone.

Rainer walked back to Fionna, Cake and Simon and sat next to them before clutching his head, trying to put himself back together as his breathing got rougher.

He killed someone.

He didn't even notice the Scarab entering the scene nor did he notice Fionna pulling him towards her, Simon and Cake. He couldn't even notice Scarab cling onto Simon as he teleported them to another universe. He couldn't focus on anything other than one specific thing:

He killed someone.

A sad little detail some might've noticed is that Rainer doesn't feel safe when complimented. He associates compliments with people wanting something from him and immediately becomes on edge when he's given one.

Tell me how I did. Leave a review.

Toodles.
