Review response section:
Jlargent - Not only you, though I never played any Pokemon game. I just have YouTube plus internet access and see stuff in it. And given that by the point I write this Geeta wasn't shown in anime, I use her game version. Also, because Sushil is Sinnoh naitive, he surely knows the stuff you said. Not that he battle Cynthia before, but because he sees stuff around him and can compared skill levels. On top of that, he directly stated that he brought a team meant to counter Geeta, so here is one reason for his somewhat easy win. However that doesn't include the fact she kinda isn't even a final boss at all, Nemona and Professors are.
Either way, here is new chapter:
"Here it comes..." Fondue smiled, seeing the whole trail of large objects sliding off of the open cargo ramp and falling down onto the clear parking lot, deploying parachutes on the way down. "Might aswell prepare the names for future legistation." She added, pulling out notebook and a pen before making notes on it.
"Whoaaa..."
"This is the weird machine you told me about?"
"The tanks! There's so many of them!"
"Biggest single shopping this school had in years."
"But look at the Fondue's one! Where did she even find that?"
These, and many other chattery gasps came into her ears as she made the simple, refrence-oriented list. Truth be told, hearing the results of her decision return that fast did make her smile on the inside. But then again, this is just how quick gratification works and she knew it.
"That took longer than expected." Eclair sighed, arriving with tried face from a hangar behind her just to be swarmed by other girls gasping at the Glaceon, who by now was getting all the 'Och!' and 'Ach!' -s. Which in turn made sure work that no one would approach the pure mass Metagross was, nevermind the landing area for new purchases.
"Hmm... It seems all tanks are in order and usable condition." Fondue nodded, seeing as a total of nine armored machines landed down on the free space before her, fairly scatrered around as accounted for collision avoidance. "Alright, everyone! Our newest addtions just arrived." She announced to the others gathered on the place before Metagross turned around with her on top of it and caught a small carboard package with several locked chains over it. "Commander, can you run entry checks whether they strenghten our team in battle?"
"Will do." Eclair nodded, walking out of the crowd and heading towards the tanks while Glaceon barely managed to crawl from between early fangirls and join her by the side. "Now, what do we have here..."
"Where do we start?" One girl asked from behind her.
"Hmm..." Eclair hummed, looking forward with slight anxiety taking over her.
"Hwu." Glaceon howled lightly, running up to the first one that looked like overly sloped armored cuboid with stubby turret at the frontal top that almost seemed to extend frontal slope and curve it upward a little.
"Right, from the beginning." Eclair smiled, walking closer to the machine and noticing two more to her left behind it. "If I'm not mistaken, these are FCM 36?"
"Indeed." Fondue responded, writing down '3 x FCM 36' down in the notes. "Fairly modern tank when compared to others France used in Nineteen-Fourteen, though they were held back by small numbers and unadjusted tactics."
"Really?" Galette asked, suddenly becoming visible within the massive gathering.
"Yes." Fondue responded, adding many more lines of text down in the notebook. "Bigger inner space, especially in drivers seat, bogie suspension, diesel engine, futuristic hull composition with almost every part sloped..." Fondue counted one after another, before noticing that Eclair went on to the next two, who were fairly bulky machines with large turret on their left top and thick gun mounted cientrally into the hull rather than turret.
"Erm, what are these?"
"These two are SAu 40." She answered swiftly. "Now granted, these two were made after the war for Sensha-do purpouses only and were used in smaller schools all over the world, but their seventy-five milimeter guns will add us some fireppower in next matches."
"That's a relief." Eclair sighed, lowering her eyes down as the girls began to approach tanks closer and closed, also viewing them for a first time.
"What about the other four then?" One of them asked, pointing further into the mix.
"This one is Renault D1." Fondue responded, looking at the tank with two-leveled hull and visually taller than in reality turret. "It has fourteen-seven milimeter gun, so it definitely can help us with eventual fire exchanges."
"And this one?" Another one asked, pointing somewhere else.
"AMC 35, light tanks that also have fourteen-seven milimeter."
"And these last two?"
"Hotchkiss H39, and... Oh, this one is interesting." She paused, getting off of Metagross as he landed down to gove her easier time transitioning from sit to walk.
"Oh, why is that?" Eclair asked.
"The second one is AMX 38, but by the gun..." Fondue said, pausing for a moment to look at the nearly pyramid-like turret. "It appears to be a version with fourty-seven milimeter gun."
"So most French tanks had either three-seven or four-seven calibers?" One girls asked from the crowd, jumping up and down with extended arm.
"Mostly, but at the same time SAu 40 and Char B1 bis have seventy-five milimeter guns mounted in hulls." Fondue specified, before turning towards Eclair. "Any orders, Commander?"
"Prepare all tanks and reassign the crews from within the team. I want to test them all as soon as possible." Swift response came back.
"Will do." Fondue nodded decisively as Eclair began to walk away towards her right. "But to specify, does that include The training tank?"
"Definitely." Eclair nodded quickly. "We must train as many members as possible!" She added with more energy as she walked away with Glaceon following her like a good boy he was.
"Alright everyone! Gather here at once. Galette, help Fondue write down entreance crew lineups" Madeleine called out, waving both arms towards herself to gather everyone present. "Now, who has genuine will or intrest towards a specific crew role?..."
"Kh-uooh?" Glaceon squealed, worried by the quick storm of shouts and proclamations behind him.
"Don't worry. They can handle this." Eclair smiled, trying to comfort him. "And if they don't then they can always tell me about it, just like you."
"Nh, nh. Hap!" Glaceon sniffed twice, before jumping up into the air and catching a small note mid-air.
"Oh, what is that?"
"Hrm."
"Let me see..." Eclair said, taking the letter from his mouth and reading the frontal cover. "... Looks like we need to go to the dorm now.
"Gla." Pokemon nodded before the two resumed their walk back inside the school building, now with actual pace.
"Thank youuu!" Little boy with aquamarine 'Little Timmy' in comic sans over oversized white shirt shouted behind himself, leaving the Pokemon House pulled by bigger arm on the left and Shinx's tail on the right.
"... Welcomed." Mako responded, waving her hand back at him in a limpues way possible, also not even saying full sentence as she mumbled the first word.
"Hep!" Sinistea bumped her gently on the back, trying to make her more alive.
"That wasn't necessary." Mako groaned, turning around to face her.
"..."
"... No, I mean it." Mako continued after a while of akward stand-off. "My sleepyness is a medical condition, not moodyness."
"He?"
"Seriously, let me show you." Mako assured her, taking out her phone and quickly typing something on it. "See, lower blood pressure..." She mumbled again before noticing a pop-up on the top. "And what is that?"
"Ooo?" Sinistea gasped, briefly moving out of the cup to look over what came in.
"Final formulation of our policy." Mako said, reading the text with squinted eyes. "Explaination can wait, we don't wanna get into trouble." She added, clicking on it and recieving a long sheet of centered and numbered text lines.

"Huh, those are fitting." Mako commented, now reading it with her whole team and many other Pokemon that managed to peek from behind them. "Also, where were all of you while me and Sinistea were managing the ground floor?" She asked, turning her head to the right at her team.
"Bzz, bzz." Magnemite cackled, wiggling his right magnet arm towards the upper level.
"Kitchen, huh?" Mako asked, lowering her right eyebrow with annoyance. "I thought the meal hours were set already."
"Cmfff! Cmfff!" Cottonee muffled, shaking her head before dropping a piece of blackened, purple cotton down on the floor.
"... Oh." Mako commented with neutral glare. "All of you, we head back up and see what this is about."
"Would you look at that..." Koume smiled, covering her eyes from above from The Sun as her group made it within a sight of collective housing. "This must be the Bloomingvale City. Way quicker than I expected given accustoming to the pace of the slowest." She added, looking around at what seemed to be whole fields of wider than usual sunflowers.
"Bune!"
"Alright, alright." She nodded, seeing Buneary eagerly trying to pull her arm forward. "But let us all rest first, alright? Some of us are tired." She added, pointing to the side at heavly breathing Trapinch.
"Kwaa..." Ducklett added, akwardly walking up to the orange Pokemon and spraying some water onto his back with low pressure Water Gun.
"Well, would you look at that!" Cheerful tone made her snap back towards the city, as she was approached by a man in his early twenties with dark blonde hair, green eyes, white shirt in yellow checkers and overly long brown cargo pants. "Such a team of Pokemon from all over the globe isn't usual."
"Heh, can't deny." Koume scratched the back of her head as others lined up around her to see the conversation. "Either way... Who are you?"
"My name is Jeff." The man replied with goofy smile. "Leader of Bloomingvale Town Gym since the previous hour!"
"Oh really?" Koume's eyes widened in suprise. "Congratulations, I guess..."
"Oh well, gym itself was opened just as early." Jeff shrugged his arms in relief. "But enough about me for now, who are you?"
"Koume. Gym Challenger." She responded with a bit of nervousness in her voice. "I heard this town has an approved Gym."
"Well, you heard right!" Jeff nodded. "However, you're gonna need a second trainer to help."
"Really?" She asked. "Why?"
"Because my rules say so." Jeff shaked his head with still present smile. "Then again, previous challenger had me in one on one battle and lost, awfully for her..."
"Erm, sure." Koume nodded, realising that she was in a bit of a stretch of a situation. "I'll take some rest and try to find someone."
"Good for you!" Jeff smiled, waving to her as he turned around. "See ya' in the Gym! If you're lost, look at road signs!"
"Will do..." Koume nodded, seeing him run away back to town while another, taller and thinner one, walked past him in relative silence. "Wait... I think I met her before..." She said to herself, waiting a bit before noticing the long black dress and white hair.
"Gamorra?"
"Not in a mood. Thanks." She responded, waving her off before even walking past her.
"Oh." Koume gasped, stepping aside as she let her walk by alone. "I have a feeling she just lost a Gym battle to Jeff. And judging by their behavior it wasn't easy." She thought, not even looking after her as she set her eyes back on the town. "I gotta find someone for help quickly."/"Everyone! How about we walk into the town and rest there? I'll buy some local treats for you~." She asked her team, using simple convinction method to help her plan.
"Ey, Sushil." Grusha said slowly, looking left from his middle seat as they headed somewhere in the airplane.
"Yea?" The latter asked, turning away from the window.
"Aren't you planning to make some evil team?"
"Team? Depends on development of situation. Evil? Depends on who you ask."
"Well, you already established a rule code."
"That was your idea."
"I was checking your intentions."
"And you still do, don't fool me now."
"And I want the same in return."
"Checking without fooling?"
"No, just the fooling part"
"Mhm, because you have nothing to hide..."
"..."
"..."
"... That was just rude."
"But true."
"Does it make this any better?"
"If you accept it." Sushil shrugged his arms in lackluster manner. "Like, remember rule three?"
"This one was your idea."
"And you accepted it."
"..."
"If you wanna quit, I can give you money for return ticket here and now."
"... Fine, have it your way."
"Ey, ey, it's not all about me." Sushil protested in the most casual way possible. "If you wanna dislike me then at least be honest about it."
"... Honest?"
"Yea. Honest." Sushil continued, his tone slowly turning more positive. "I never say that what I do is objectively or morally right. Even if so, then I say that what I do is right in my own view. No indoctrination, no hate on other worldviews, no ego."
"Really?" Grusha asked again, unsure about what he was hearing.
"Really." Sushil continued. "I do stuff not because someone tells me it is right, or because I think it is right for me. I do it because I feel that I need to do it. Simple as."
"So you follow the voice of your heart?"
"I guess you can say it that way..."
"How about the voice of your head?"
"Only if it doesn't disregard voice of heart. That's what I define as honesty... A situation when heart and mind don't follow separate ways."
"... So if I were to, let's say..." Grusha began, slowly picking his words out of care. "attack you here and now, but was honest about it..."
"I wouldn't mind." Sushil ended for him. "After all, watching out for fists coming towards my face is my responsibility." He ended, turning his face towards the seat in front of himself.
"... You know what?" Grusha spoke up after a while of relative silence cut by engine noises and general sounds hearable inside the passenger cabin. "I think you are reasonable."
"Thanks." Sushil shaked his head in hidden disbelief. "After all, others expect me to be self-intrested."
"But smartly so."
"Correct."
"..."
"..."
"... Any second thoughts on rules?"
"We must specify recruitment system."
"Got it." Grusha nodded, taking out his phone. "Few lines of text and it's good to go. You start."
"Splendid..."
"M-hmm." Fondue nodded to herself, ending the writing of the entire line-up for incoming weeks.
Battle priority:
6 x Somua S35
2 x Char B1 Bis
1 x Renault D1
3 x FCM 36
2 x SAu 40
1 x Hotchkiss H39
1 x AMX 38
1 x AMC 35
3 x Renault R35
3 x Renault FT-17
Training purpouses only:
1 x Saint-Chamond
"Not the most optimal lineup, but we did undergo a major strenghtening of our forces." She smiled, recalling positives to the situation. "And Metagross can definitely handle any issues regarding spare parts, especially since we only use three calibers of shells now, which solves one issue."
BAM*
"Oh, they already started firing practise." Fondue said out loud, seeing trails of white smoke and rising dirt in the mildly close distance. "May aswell walk up to them and see it myself. They will surely need me as tank commander in eventual battle training later on." She continued talking to herself as she put the notes back in the pocket and headed left towards the practise grounds, choosing not to go across the field and not risk being driven over by a multi-ton machinery.
BAM*
"Now that I have a while, I wonder how Eclair goes about the small package I contracked for her." Fondue thought, walking at civil pace towards her destination. "Either way, she is in for a lot of possibilities. I just wonder if she won't gest distracted from Sensha-do..."
BAM*
"This one looks similar to you." Eclair commented, sitting on her bed and looking over the screen of sideways posing Glaceon, while her own looked over from her right, visibly intrested if judging by undistractable stare forward and stiff legs.
"Glaceon, Fresh Snow Pokemon; The coldness emanating from Glaceon causes powdery snow to form, making it quite a popular Pokemon at ski resorts." Electronic voice said, or rather displayed text on the screem since the multimedia volume was turned off for privacy reasons.
"Umkh."
"Something wrong?" Eclair asked, snapping her head to the right at Glaceon, who slowly went from standing still to sit and then curled up, lying on the bed with slightly narrowed eyes.
"Haurluu..." Pokemon responded making a sound similar to bark turning into a sad howl.
"Here, here..." Eclair said, placing hand on top of his back and rubbing it gently with warm expression. "You can always tell me, or at least show me what scares you."
"... Khhg." Glaceon harked, tensing his neck muscles before crawling a little forward and placing his paw on top of the screen.
"Hmm..." Eclair took notice, looking back at the screen and seeing light blue leg pull out of words 'ski resort.'. "Bad memories?" She asked.
"... Qu."
"Can't blame you. The recalling must have stressed you out." She continued, briefly looking at nearby plastic bottle half-full of white pills before leaning back towards Glaceon. "You know how I deal with stress... Or rather do not."
"Fnn!" Pokemon sniffed angrly, standing back up on all fours almost as if he tried to scare off a pesky mosquito.
"No need to... Wait." Eclair said, rising her hand for a moment as her eyes turn bland. "I only now realised you understand human speech."
"Hep." Glaceon nodded, taken aback by somewhat goofy change of topic.
"To be honest, having someone around to confess or just talk about harder things is... A gift." She continued, before noticing a messeage pop-up from Fondue. "Hmm... Wanna come with me to observe my training?"
"Gla!'
"That's the spirit." Eclair smiled, seeing her companion leap down onto the floor and rush to the doors. "But please, wait for me!"
"I guess we gotta lessen the space." Koume said, taking afive of her partners back into pokeballs, managing to make a space on a pavement for virtually anyone to pass her. "But don't worry, it's temporar." She added, one with Buneary inside a little longholdinger before also having it shrink and putting the ball down in the pocket.
"Excuse me."
"Huh? Oh." She gasped, stepping to the side as she allowed an elderly man in white flat cap and shirt proceeded beside her with his walking stool.
"What was I supposed to do?... Oh, riiight." The man stopped, then turning around slow enough to make about anyone feel a bit uncomfourtable. "Had you happen to notice a diabetic dog by any chance, young lady?" He asked calmly.
"... No, sorry Sir." Koume excused herself, hiding how troubling it sounded.
"Oh, this is sad." The man nodded patiently, after which his wrinkled face turned sad. "I guess my help can offer only as much..."
"But... What happened?" Koume asked, noticing a real part of the trouble.
"A little girl from Chaos... Kaos? Laos?... Wiar a minute... " Old man began speaking, losing the thought in a word guessing. "K-a-l... Kalos! That's the one!" He chuckled, almost letting go off the stool. "Girl from Kalos, younger even that you by the looks, just happen to lost her Pokemon friend around here. Shame to our community in a way."
"Erm, can I help with it?" Koume asked again, making it clear she was ready to join.
"That would be very kind of you!" The man responded, in a meanwhile deciding to move aside to face her at zero-degree angle and leave a strip of space for others to walk by. "She is currently at the park, the main one, Sunfloras there are very sweet."
"Can you show me the way," not asking at the start, but what is your name?"
"Koume." She responded, placing her hands together at the back out of respect.
"O-ho-ho. That is a beautiful name." The man chuckled again, this time with lighter tone. "I am Segu, former mayor of this beautiful city and an accomplished man."
"Its... Pleasure to meet you."
"As always." Segu shrugged off her akward response. "Now then, you still have to meet someone."
"Oh right, lead the way please." Koume corrected herself, not needing any time to catch up as the two began to head further into the city.
