At the Celestial Clock the Overlord and Garmadon were watching as it was ticking closer and closer to zero, but while The Overlord seemed excited, Garmadon felt very low as they both knew what zero meant: the final battle between the three Garmadons.
""The clock is only hours away from finishing its countdown to the Final Battle between good and evil, Garmadon." the Overlord said eagerly before he saw his partner's low expression. "This is the moment you have been longing for, why so sad?" He asked.
"Me? Sad? Ha, nonsense!" Garmadon laughed. "I couldn't be happier. It's just..." He then frowned and glanced away.
The Overlord knew what Garmadon is think about. "Lloyd and Lydie?" He guessed.
"I still have to battle my children in order to transform Equestria into my image," Garmadon reminded him in a sad tone.
"Battle and defeat, if evil is to prevail," the Overlord sternly reminded him.
Garmadon just looked at the Helmet's perch where he took it before he turned and walked away from the clock.
"Order up! Coconut cream pie! Served well done!" Kai shouted as he readied his Elemental Blade. A coconut was flung into the air as he shot a fireball with a direct hit to it. The Ninja were wearing some beach wear as they were having fun with their new elemental blades.
"It's good to have our powers back!" Zane said.
Jay laughed. "Yup, you're right. And since we've all been working on our witty quips to follow every cool thing we do, I'd say we got this Final Battle in the bag. Or should I say…" He signals Cole to launch another coconut. And then he gives the palm tree a tug, launching a coconut into the air, "... I'd be SHOCKED if we lose!" he said, blasting the coconut as they all laughed.
"Enough!" Wu shouted as he approached them. "Are you trying to reveal our hidden location?"
"Uh, sorry, Sensei." Kai apologized as he rubbed the back of his head. "We were just testing out our cool new elemental blades."
"And our witty quips." Jay quickly added with a .
"Be wary of overconfidence, Ninja." Wu advised as the boys listened to him. "While it is true your powers can defeat the Stone Army, only Lydie and Lloyd alone has the power to defeat Garmadon. When it is all over, then we will see who laughs last." He said to the.
"Yes, sensei." The boys all said in unison as they bow their heads.
At the otherside of the Bounty, Nya and Harumi are prepping the vehicles while Harumi helps the best way she could while following g Nya's instructions.
"Tork wrench?" Nya asked, holding out his hand to Harumi.
"Okay, here you go." Harumi said, handing Nya a tool she thought was the one she asked for.
Nya looked at the tool as she gave a slight chuckle. "Harumi, that's not a tork wrench, those are needle-nosed pliers." She said in amusement.
Harumi looked at the pilers before turning back to Nya. "Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe I should've stayed back in Ninjago, I'm just added weight hear." She said while giving an sullen look.
Nya place a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Hey, don't say that. You're not an added weight, your just a little inexperience to this whole thing. You just need practice. You were just made into a teenager, literally." She said with a slight chuckle.
"Well, I got used to my body like how Lloyd did with his, but I don't think my mind was matured enough when it happened." Harumi commented sheepishly.
"Well, you manage to sneak aboard the bounty without us knowing. That gets a thumbs-up." Nya stated with an impressive smile.
"Well, I couldn't let Lloyd face this alone and I couldn't let his father threaten Ninjago," Harumi said proudly, "He is the first friend I made after I lost my parents, and as the future princess of Ninjago, I have duty to protect my people."
"Well, maybe you can help me keep some pieces together while I secure them." Nya suggested. "That way, you will see how I do and maybe learn a thing or two, if that's alright with you, your majesty?" She added playful.
"It would be my greatest honor." Harumi playfully smiled in a Royal accented as Nya laughed ans then pointed to some part that needed placing, as Harumi helped her fit them in.
Meanwhile Lydie and Lloyd are paying attention to Dr. Julien as he is fixing the Falcon. "Every cog, every gear is important," He told them as He placed a cog in the Falcon and it reactivated. "If one piece is missing, or out of place, the invention won't work." He then closed the Falcon's front. "Come now, little one. Time to fly." The Falcon then took off into the sky as Sensei Wu approached them.
"It is like you Ninja," Wu said. "You each serve very important roles, and are each key parts to a magnificent fighting force." He said as Cole spotted the Falcon in the sky.
"Eat dirt, scumbag! Cole quipped as he fired an earth blast at the Falcon, thinking it was a coconut. Zane let out a gasp as he nudged her aside and quickly used his Elemental Blade to freeze the blast before it could hit the Falcon.
"That is not a coconut!" Zane told him.
"Sorry, but nice reflexes." Cole complimented as the Falcon landed on Zane's arm.
"Good to have you back, old friend." Zane told his Falcon as it took flight again.
"If we're all gears, what if we're the gear that doesn't work?" Lloyd worried.
"He's right. What if we don't do our part? What if we can't defeat our father?" Lydie finished as she and her brother looked down.
Wu gave his niece and nephew a sympathy look. "And what if there are no more 'What-ifs'? The Final Battle is almost upon us. When that time comes, we will know the answer to what ifs whether we like it or not." He said.
Harumi and Nya then came up to them as Misako showed up. "We know you two don't want to face your father, but there is no other choice." Nya said.
"I just wish there was a way you both and your father wouldn't be harmed." Harumi said worriedly.
"But perhaps there is," Misako countered as she stepped forward while holding a scroll in her. "I used to think it was inevitable, but then I found this."
"You mean, maybe Lloyd doesn't have to fight?" Cole asked as he and the others work coming up the hill. "This I gotta hear."
Misako then unraveled the scroll and it showed a terrifying image of the stone warriors on it with a countdown clock, its hands reaching towards a skull-and-crossbones symbol over a monstrous shadow of a skull.
"The scrolls say that when the Helmet of Darkness is bequeathed to its rightful ruler, the celestial clock will count down to the activation of an unspeakable weapon." Misako told them. "The first sigh of the Final Battle between good and evil has begun."
"Did you just say unspeakable weapon?" Kai asked in a worry tone.
"Uh, I'm still stuck on what 'bequeathed' means," Jay said.
Cole shushed them and turned back to Misako, "Go on Misako. Don't let us interrupt you. How do we stop the Final Battle?" He asked.
"There is nothing here that explains what would happen if the Helmet of Darkness is returned to the clock." Misako explained as they all got the same idea.
"Interesting." Wu spoke in interest. "Remove the helmet, the clock starts. Put it back, the clock stops." He said.
"And the final battle never start." Lloyd said in hope.
"And we don't have to fight father!" Lydie declared with a smile.
"'Bequeathed', anyone?" Jay asked. "Is anyone gonna help me out with that?" He asked the others, still not sure what that word means but no one answered him.
"That sounds great and all, and I know we have our new powers, but you expect us to get past his whole army of stone warriors, and pluck the helmet off his head?" Kai asked, making it sound more difficult than it needs to be.
"My brother's right," Nya told Misako. "They're good, but they're not that good."
"I know. And that is why I am going to do it." Misako told her.
"What?!" The Garmadon siblings exclaimed in shock.
"I'm the only one your father should let his guard down if he still cares for me." Misako said while forming a plan. "I'll just need a little help." She said as she gestured the boys to her as she discuss her plans to them. "In order to get pass their guards, we need to first get control…"
Lydie and Lloyd were about to join in but Wu stopped them. "I'm sorry, you two. This mission isn't for you both." He said to them.
"Again at being bench!?" Lydie questioned in irritation. "Especially when our mother is gonna be in the heart of the enemies territory?!"
"And we're all powered up! We can help!" Lloyd pointed out.
"We mustn't let you two and your father come face to face yet." Wu reminded them. "We're trying to prevent the final battle, not welcome it." He stated.
The Garmadon siblings bow their heads in understanding. "Yes, Uncle." They said.
Wu placed a reassuring hand on their shoulders, "Don't worry, your mother is much stronger than she appears." He said, assuring them that Misako would be fine. "And your father would never do anything to harm her. Even in his corrupted state, he still cares for her."
The Garmadon siblings looked at each other uncertainty as they turned to Wu as they nodded as they walked into the Bounty while the others discuss their plans.
'I don't like this.' Lloyd said mentally.
'Me neither, but we have to trust mom and the guys to get that helmet.' Lydie replied back before smirking, 'But I say we keep watch and jump in when things get messy.'
'Good plan.' Lloyd smirked back.
Back at Garmadon's camp, Kozu and Narmaka were showing their master their new vehicles. "To combat the Ninjas' new power, we have honored your request to step up defenses," He gestured to the vehicles.
"They won't sneak in here a second time," The Narmaka assured.
"Heh-heh-heh. I like what I see." Garmadon said while slapping their backs.
The Overlord however was less than impressed. "Why would increase your forces, when all of your attention should be on completing the ultimate weapon?" He questioned impatiently.
"What good is an ultimate weapon if I'm not around to use it?" Garmadon pointed out. "Do not question my motives!" He yelled as he turned his back to the Overlord.
"It is not your motives I question but your resolve." The Overlord stated as he move in front of Garmadon. "I fear you're hesitating as the hours count down to facing your children." He said as Garmadon looked down, confirming the Overlord's thoughts. "So it is true." He added as he moved around.
"Never doubt my evil again!" Garmadon shouted at the Overlord with rage. "Not if you wish to remain as our ally when we rule!" He then turned to some stone warriors looking at them. "Get back to building the Ultimate Weapon! Do not stop until it is complete!" Fearful of his rage, they all quickly got back to work on the Ultimate Weapon, bumping into each other as they ran around frantically.
"Yes… now there is the Garmadon I am counting on," the Overlord said with delight.
Meanwhile, outside the camp four stone warriors were walking through the gates with Misako tied up, but we're actually the Ninja in disguise.
They knocked on the gates as they opened and they walked in, Misako pretended to struggle. "Unhand me, you fiends!" She acted as the gates closed.
Kozu and Narmaka approached, speaking on their native tongue as the five raised brows of confusion.
"What did they just say?" Cole whispered to the others.
"I don't know." Kai said with a shrug.
"I believe it is an ancient language." Zane theorize.
"Well, someone say something." Cole said before he cleared his throat, "Bada-bada, bingo bong!" He said as Kozu and Narmaka turned to him.
"Cheep, cheep, chit-ta-ta!" Kai said next.
"Tick tock, tick tock!" Zane spoke next.
"Bequeath, bequeath, bequeath." Jay finished as he did a weird dance as Kozu and Narmaka looked at him and then at each other in befuddlement.
Narmaka then twirled a finger close to her head as Kozu nodded.
Jay moved back with the others as he looked the two stone warriors in surprise. "Did they just call me crazy?" He whispered in offense.
"Well, they aren't wrong." Kai muttered, agreeing with the stone warriors on that part.
Misako decided to speak for them so they won't get suspicious as she step forward. "That's right, you caught me. But I'll never tell either of you where our base is." She said as she looked at Kozu in the eye. "And you won't hear another peep out of me, unless you take me to Garmadon."
Kozu growled frighteningly at her as he and his lieutenant took her away while the Ninja explored the area, hoping to not draw attention.
Garmadon was resting on his bed, without his armor or cape but kept his helmet on.
He then felt someone at the door way and turned away from the light. "I said that I was not to be disturbed!" He shouted.
Kozu then spoke with a small bow. "Forgive me, my lord, but we have a prisoner who knows the whereabouts of your children's rebel base." He spoke.
That got Garmadon's attention as he turned his head and saw what look like a ghost of his past. A beautiful ghost from his past as he sat up.
"M-Misako!" Garmadon gasped in shock.
Misako gave him a smile, "It's been a while, my love." She said, to her it's the truth since she is glad to see her husband again after so long.
Garmadon glanced around, knowing he would see Misako again but hadn't expected this day to be today. "I, uh…" He asked nervously as Misako walked up to him as she still kept her smile as Garmadon clears his throat. "Release her." He ordered Kozu.
"Yes, sir." Kozu nodded as he cut Misako's ropes, setting her free as he walked out of Garmadon's quarters, leaving the two alone.
Misako then approached Garmadon and smiled amusedly at how meek the Dark Lord was acting. "Take off that silly helmet. Let me get a good look at you fully." She said as she reach for the helmet.
Garmadon gently batted her hands away from it. "If you don't mind, I rather not." He said as he looked away a bit since not only he needs it for the stone army, but he would rather hide his full evilness from the woman he loved.
While waiting for Misako, the Ninja passed the time with some casual conversation, "How about this?" Frost asked the others as they were sitting by a tent. "It's 'ice' to see you."
"Uh, I don't know," Jay said in a unsure tone. "I feel like you could do better."
"I swear I've heard that before." Cole commented.
Kai groaned as felt around his armor, "Ugh. I feel like a clunky mule in this thing." He complained as Narmaka came up to them, speaking the ancient language again while pointing to where the Ultimate Weapon was being built. "Uh, is she talking to us?" He asked the others in confusion.
"I think she wants us to get working." Zane guessed.
And his guess was proven right when Narmaka pointed to the Ultimate Weapon more forcibly and roared at them to get to work. The Ninja were do scared that Jay accidentally tripped and fell on Zane's foot as he hopped on one leg.
"Bequeath! Bequeath!" Jay squeaked as he and the others hopped like Zane did.
"Tick Tock! Polly wock!" Zane added as he hopped and held His foot.
"Obop, Be-woo! Bee woo!" Zane shouted as they all made strange noises as they hopped to the construction site.
Back at Garmadon's tent, he circles around his wife, like a vulture studying a carcass, "So you know where our children are hiding, but I suspect you won't give them up that easily." Garmadon said as he walked to where his weapons are and grab a sword and pointed it at Misako. "I know you too well, Misako. Why did you allow yourself to get caught?" He questioned, since he knows his wife wouldn't get caught that easily.
Despite being held at weapon point, Misako wasn't afraid, "Because I know you don't want to fight as much as Lloyd and Lydie don't want to fight." She preached to him, though her mission was to get the helmet, she had to at least try to change her husband's mind.
Garmadon was caught off guard by this information, "Lloyd and Lydie don't want to fight?" He asked before he stopped himself. "Uh, I mean… So Lloyd and Lydie doesn't want to fight?" He repeated in a confident tone before he gave his signature cackle, just in case the Overlord was watching.
Misako was unnerved by the laugh and pressed on, "If you're still the man who stole my heart, I know you would never want to see either of them harmed," she said.
"But it is foretold. It is our destiny, I don't care about our son or daughter," Garmadon reminded her as Misako looked at him with heart break, "I only care about turning Ninjago into my own image!"
Misako looked at him tearfully, "Then you're not the man I married," She said with a sad look before she turned to leave. "I should go to your dungeon."
"No!" Garmadon halted her. "Don't leave me, not again."
Misako turned to him as he took off his Helmet. "Misako, I may look different, and evil may now course through my veins, but I am still the same man standing before you." He placed his sword on the table and put the Helmet on a perch. He then walked over to Misako. "I want you to rule by my side, as my queen." He said as he held her hand and kneeled before her, almost like he was proposing to her all over again.
Misako looked at him as she felt her heart beat accelerating, "How can I trust you love me, when your own brother and our children are nothing to you anymore?" She asked, looking away as she was trying to look for an opening to take the helmet.
"Misako. I do care." Garmadon whispered as Misako turned back to him in surprise. "Listen, I can't say this aloud, but you know the Overlord, don't you?" He whispered as Misako nodded. "I don't know about now, but I know that he might be watching. I needed his help to shift the balance so that I can achieve my goal and then the two of us could be together again, do you not want that?"
Misako was surprised by her own husband words as she now understand why Garmadon is doing this. "I-I do. But…" She trailed off as she was torn between Ninjago and her love for her husband.
Garmadon saw Misako's expression and smiled, "Oh my poor Misako, how long have you been deprived of my love?" He asked as he ran his four hands over her.
"F-For a long time since you, been banished and I had to s-seperate our children." Misako said slowly as she felt within her a familiar feeling she hadn't felt in a long time as she felt her husband's touch over her.
Garmadon chuckled, "For me, it felt like an eternity." He said as two of his hands moved to removed Misako's scarf and unbutton her jacket while his other two moved to her pants and belt, "Do you not remember our first time together?"
Misako was silent for a moment as she felt her husband unbuttoning her clothes as she gave a small smile. "I, I do. It's just, been a long time that, I, I…" She trailed off as she tried to find the right words.
"No, no, I understand, you have been alone for so long that you can't even remember our nights together," Garmadon said as he finished unbuttoning her jacket and tossed it away, revealing her shirt and then unfastened her belt as his extra arms pulled down her pants as it showed her underwear as Misako gave a slight gasp.
"Garmadon…" Misako said in surprise when he did that.
"How about I help you remember what it feels like, my dear?" Garmadon asked as he then took off his wife's glasses, then her shirt as he tossed it away, revealing her bra as Misako gave a slight blush while her braid came undone. "Hmm, I almost forgot how beautiful you were."
Misako looked away in slight embarrassed as she gave a small smile. "Well, I have kept myself in peak condition. Even when traveling around all over Ninjago, gotta stay in shape." She said as Garmadon turned her face to him.
"So, what do you want my dear Misako?" Garmadon asked with a suggestive smile.
Misako glanced at the helmet of shadows, though she was here to obtain it to stop the final battle, it had been too long since she felt her husband, 'A few moments couldn't hurt and it might give me an opportunity.' She told herself.
Misako turned back to her husband as she gave a smile as she reached behind her husband's neck and wrapped her hands around it. "I want to spend a moment with you, my love." She said before she jumped into Garmadon's arms and kissed him deeply in passion.
Garmadon returned the gesture as he carried her to his bed as he placed Misako on the bed as he was on top of her. She giggled as she felt her husband touching her before she moaned in happiness as he began to show her love.
The two shared their long-due moment that they haven't done in years, meanwhile the Overlord heard this and scoffed in disgust, "Pah, Mortals."
A little bit later, the Ninja are setting up some wood on something as they are carrying a ton of logs and stack them up in a tepe stack formation as they panted.
"Why are we, pulling some wood up, if they are making something?" Jay asked as he panted.
"Don't know. But this is great work out for me." Cole commented as he lifted two logs in ease as he stack them in place as he dusted his hand.
"Oh, why couldn't we all get super strengths?" Jay complained.
Kai groaned as he looked around. "What's taken Misako so long to get the helmet?" He asked as he looked around. "She would've grabbed it by now."
"Remember Kai, she can't just grab the helmet from Garmadon that easily." Zane reminded as he place a rock down. "She's probably trying to find the right moment to get Garmadon off guard and grab the helmet." He theorize.
"Well, she better hurry. Because there's so much more of this building thing I can take." Kai said.
Kozu then came to them as he pointed to some supplies of dark matter as he spoke in ancient language while pointing at the top of the construction. The Ninja didn't need a translator to know what's he saying.
"Yeah, yeah. We got it. We'll take these to the top." Kai said as he and the others grab some dark matter while Cole pulled a wagon.
Back at Garmadon's tent, Garmadon and Misako sitting in each others arms, still bare, panting from the experience, "Just like happier times?" Garmadon asked his wife
"Just like happier times." Misako answered with a nostalgic smile. "It has been a while since we've done that, I almost forgotten what it felt like." She said.
Garmadon then redressed himself as he saw Misako's clothing on the floor and gathered them up. "Best to get dress. It was fun but I'd rather you be dress while making off with my helmet." He said as he held Misako's clothing.
Msako went wide eyes at her husband for what he said. "W-What did you just say?" She asked in shock as she glanced at the helmet.
"Misako, I know you longer than any other, you think I wouldn't know the real reason you came?" Garmadon asked with a small smile. "Our little session was all needed to confirm my suspicions as I noticed you kept glancing at the Helmet of Shadows. And now that I have these." He gestured to her clothing, "You can't leave even if you wanted too."
Misako was stunt at her husbands action as she knew she couldn't leave now that Garmadon had her clothes since he knows that even if she take his helmet, she have to run out there naked. "Garmadon, you can't do this to-" She tried to ask.
"Sorry my dear, but I'm afraid I can. Even though I've always preferred your fully revealed form, I rather not have you drown in shame out there." Garmadon said with a small smirk. "So, either you can tell me your true reasons for coming here and I return your clothing, or you can try and take the helmet now and run through the camp with nothing else." He offered her.
Misako looked at her husband as she was now conflicted on which she could choose as with Garmadon holding her clothes, which now make things more complicated to get the helmet without getting the others to questioned why she was naked.
So she sighed in defeated and slumped forward, "Alright, you win. I came here to retrieve the helmet because I need to stop the final battle from happening, and to keep you and our children safe, it wasn't about tricking you into this, I, I just," She stammered as tears came from her eyes and she covered them,"I'm sorry Garamdon. I know how much this must mean to you, but if letting you recreate the world means losing our children or you, I just couldn't bare the thought! I just wanted to save you and them! I just wanted-" She was cut off when Garmadon moved her hands aside and captured her lips, surprising her for a moment as she kissed back as they kept it in a moment before they broke apart.
"Thank you." Garmadon whispered to her with a smile.
"H-Huh?" Misako asked in surprise as Garmadon wipe her tears away.
"To tell you the truth, I never wanted to fight our children either." Garmadon admitted. "Even before all of this, I've been hesitated to even face my own children to make sure the final battle never come to soon. But the Overlord has been determined to insure the Final Battle begins and has been pushing me to fight our children." He explained as he looked at her hopefully, "And you really think you can prevent that from happening?"
Misako then nodded. "Yes, my love. I've been doing my research for years since your banishment and from hearing the prophecy. And I found a possible way to prevent it all from happening." She said in a hopeful tone.
Garmadon looked at her before nodding and handing her clothes, "Alright, get dressed and tell me everything." He told her.
Misako nodded with a warm smile at her husband for understanding as she took back her clothes and began redressing herself.
Meanwhile, the Ninja were carrying crates of Dark Matter. "Aw, man! No matter how many bad situations we get ourselves out of, we never seen to be able to escape chores!" Jay complained.
"What is that thing anyway?" Cole asked while pointing at the unfinished construction.
"It must be the unspeakable weapon Misako was talking about," Zane theorized.
"It sure looks massive," Kai said as they walked closer.
Then Cole noticed something. "Hey look guys an elevator, sweet!" he said as he walked up to only for Kozu to block him. Kozu then spoke in his native tongue telling him that he is not allowed to use the elevator. "Ah. Relax, relax. Forget it." He and the others started to climb up the ramp to the top until. "Sheesh. What is wrong with these guys?" They soon saw a ginormous cannon as they continue their way up.
"I don't know about any of you, but that just looked like some sort of massive cannon." Kai pointed out.
"What do you suppose it's for?" Zane asked.
"Oh, I don't know," Jay said sarcastically. "Perhaps it's to destroy us?!" He exclaimed quietly.
As they climbed, a short stone warrior with a staff came up to Cole as he bonked the disguises earth ninja in the head while speaking in ancient language.
"Hey, why don't ya bonk somepony your own size, half-stack?!" Cole shouted as the warrior yelled at him again in it's language.
Having enough, Cole then kicked the warrior off the building as he screamed and fell into a barrel.
Every Stone Warrior looked up as the other Ninja looked at Cole in annoyance. "That guy seriously have it coming." Cole said in defense.
Seeing their cover was blown the Ninja decided to go old school, "NINJA, GO!" The Ninja then did Spinjitzu as they got out of their disguises as they are now in their gi and readied their elemental blades.
The stone army then attacked as the Ninja readied their Elemental Blades as the enemy charged towards them. "At least we get to break the ice!" Zane quipped as he threw the ramp coming up, causing the stone warriors to slide all the way back down.
"Ha-ha! Nice one, Zane!" Kai complimented.
"Ha-ha, now you're cooking with gas!" Jay laughed before he noticed some warriors coming up on the Elevator. "Or should I say, electricity!" He quipped, zapping the warriors and sending the Elevator down. "Going down?"
"Save some lines for us, Jay," Cole told him. "I wouldn't want us to bowl over the competition." He grabbed a nearby rope and ran and swung on it at some warriors. They dodged him but he came back around. "Oh, this is bad! This is really, really-" He crashed into some barrels. "Bad."
"Let's get Misako and get out of here!" Kai spoke as the others nodded.
"NINJA, GO!" The four Ninja did Spinjitzu as they fought their way through.
Once Misako was redressed, she explained her theory about returning the helmet to the clock that should prevent the final battle from happening as Garmadon was surprise by this.
"So, if you return the helmet, it would prevent the final battle from ever happening in the first place?" Garmadon asked hopefully.
"That is what I hope." Misako nodded. "Remove the helmet, the clock starts. Put it back, the clocks stops, and the final battle will never happen." She stated.
Garmadon thought for a moment, he looked at the helmet in his hands. He knew the Overlord would not be pleased if he did this, but if it meant he and his children didn't have to fight.
He sighed, "The things I do in the name of fatherhood." He grumbled to himself before turning to Misako and holding the helmet out to her, "If you believe this, can stop this all before it begins, then you best hurry." He said before he place his helmet back into place. "My guards will be here to track you down after you managed to steal the helmet while my back was turned."
"Why would you pretend that I stole it since you knew?" Misako asked in confusion.
"The Overlord is many things, but peeping isn't one of them." Garmadon stated. "Now, let's pretend that you tricked me and that I found out you betrayed me. It will get the Overlord off my back and someway to keep him from suspicious without him knowing." He explained as he turned his back from Misako.
"Okay. I understand." Misako said as she then got ready.
Garmadon sigh as he spoke. "Misako, I'm glad you finally understand me," He said, acting along as Misako took that as the sign as she quietly went for the Helmet. "Not many people do, you see."
Misako continues to tip-toe towards the helmet but stops as she heard Garmadon sigh. "Being evil these days is really unappreciated." He griped as she plucked the Helmet from the perch, "But you... I always knew I could count on you."
As soon as he said this, he heard the alarms blare as Misako ran out. He turned to see his Helmet was gone. "She deceived me? Stop her!" He ordered, secretly playing along so that the Overlord wouldn't suspect a thing while glad his wife found a way to stop the final battle, but he had to play along. 'That's my girl. Save our family.' He thought to himself.
Misako ran out of the tent and smiled to herself, 'I won't let you down my love, I promise.' She thought as she ran up to the other Ninja.
"You've got the helmet!" Zane exclaimed.
"And you got spotted!" Misako remarked.
"Cole gave us away." Jay retorted while pointing at the earth ninja.
"Alright, I've had a rough day!" Cole shouted. "Can we stop playing blame and focus on what's in front of us?!" He questioned before he noticed Misako's hair. "Hey, what happened to your braid."
Misako notice at her hair was still down as she forgot to braid them as she gave a sheepish look. "Well, let's just say that my husband was more and happy to see me again that I let go of my hair." She lied since she didn't want to tell them what she and Garmadon did earlier since it's private.
They then heard loud stomping behind them and turned to see Garmadon piloting a giant black mech. "Maybe we should focus on what's behind us?" Kai suggested.
"Cut them down to size," Garmadon said as he let out a chuckle, trying to make their escape look good since he doesn't want the Overlord to notice, but also signaling that he was going to enjoy this since he hadn't battled in a long time. He then controlled the mech to raise its sword and bring it down. They all jumped out of the way just in time as it hit the ground.
"If we do not return the helmet before the clock strikes zero, we won't be able to prevent the final battle!" Misako told them.
"Don't worry. I'm on top of it!" Jay assured as he ran towards Garmadon when he got the sword out of the ground before jumping towards him. "Yah! Whoo-hoo-hoo!" Jay grabbed hold of the sword when it was swung at him and was launched into the air. The mech then grabbed him when he came down before he was thrown to the ground and crashed. "Oh, maybe not. Unh."
"Didn't his mama ever teach him 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall'?" Cole asked as he reading his Elemental Blade while Garmadon let out an evil laugh. Cole then thrusted his blade forward causing some rocks to be thrown at Garmadon. Garmadon used his mech to slice and dice each rock being thrown at him. "Oh, apparently she did."
The mech walking towards them as Kai readied his blade. He charged at Garmadon and created a wall of fire in front of him. He did not stop however as he made his mech go through the flames as he laughed. "Oh, great," Kai groaned.
"Bye-bye!" Garmadon mocked before he swatted Kai away.
Kai groans as the others gathered around him, "Oh boy. We better come up with something fast because," he started as Garmadon and the Villains advanced at them, "I'm out of lines!" Suddenly, something emerged from out of the ground and poked him in the back. "Hey!" He quickly jumped up and a giant driller vehicle burrowed out of the ground as the others got out of the way.
"Whoa, it's Nya!" Jay pointed out as Nya punched it and drove towards Garmadon, knocking away a few stone warriors in the path.
Nya then knocked over Garmadon's mech as he tripped over before she drove to the others. "Hey, guys." She waved.
"How did you know we needed you?" Jay asked his girlfriend.
Nya pointed to Zane's Falcon. "Look up." She said before gesturing to the other seats. "Get in!" The Ninja, and Misako climbed in as Aqua revved the engines. "Hang on." The vehicle soon drove into the earth and bore down faster.
"Don't just stand there! Get them!" Garmadon ordered the stone warriors as they took the vehicles down into the hole after them. The Overlord then hovered over to him.
"You fool!" he shouted at them with anger. "You let that woman get away with the helmet?! Don't you realize if one of them put it on they will control the army?!"
"Watch your tone! If you reunited with your love of your life, you would done the same!" Garmadon retorted, getting the feeling that the Overlord saw their private session. "I'll see to it personally. It's my turn." He said, having no choice but to go after the Ninja and his wife since they were just trying to prevent the final battle and keep him and his children from fighting each other. 'Sorry, Misako. I hope you make it in time.' He said as he move his mech out.
Meanwhile underground, the group continued to drill their way towards the Clock with the stone warriors close behind. "Heh. Cool hat," Jay said as he put on the Helmet. "I wonder if it'll make me look more menacing."
"Is that really wise?" Nya asked as she turned ot her boyfriend. "If that helmet turns you evil, we're kicking you out."
"Uh, is that possible?" Jay asked nervously before he quickly took off the Helmet. "Uh, it's probably got Garmadon cooties anyway."
"Did you get the helmet?" Wu asked when a video call came through.
"We did, and we're all accounted for," Nya confirmed.
"Then let's rendezvous at the Clock," Wu told them.
"It's so dark!" Jay complained as he started hitting buttons. "One of these buttons must be a light switch," she said before a stone warrior jumped on the Driller, scaring them.
"Uh, sis, can we go any faster?" Kai asked nervously.
"We're going as fast as we can!" Nya told him as the stone warriors behind started to speed up.
"We're definitely not going fast enough!" Cole exclaimed as Kozu pushes them put of the ground.
The others started screaming while telling Nya to go faster as she tried to. "Okay!" she shouted as she pressed down on the gas pedal and went faster going up.
They soon burst out of the ground and continued to make their way to the Celestial Clock. The stone warriors however, they came out of the whole they burst out of but the Ninja were going faster than them.
"We're losing them!" Jay shouted when he looked behind and they all cheered as they thought they were home free.
But then out of the forest was Garmadon controlling his mech as he caught up to them.
"Uh, perhaps not." Zane muttered.
Garmadon had an angry look on his face, which really a fake look since he needs to pretend so the Overlord doesn't find out his betrayal.
"You won't get away from me again, Misako!" Garmadon exclaimed as he was catching up as Misako knew her husband was just trying to act so the Overlord would think he was fooled, which was working since this chase feels real.
"Hang on!" Nya called out as she steer the driller through some bamboos as Garamdon followed along as she tried to shake him. "Have we lost him?!" She asked.
"Not quite!" Kai answered as Garmadon was right on top of them.
Garmadon gave a laugh, finding this fun as he manage to grab the driller as he picked it up as the group screamed as he then shook the driller like it was a toy while the group started bouncing around inside as he then tossed it as the Ninja screamed as the driller rolled around before it landed straight up.
Nya banged at the hatch as she tried to open it. "It's stuck!" She cried out as Garmadon picked them up again as they all screamed in panic.
"Oh, I'm gonna be sick," Cole groaned as Garmadon held them up to his face.
"I finally have you Ninja, in my the palm of my hand!" Garmadon shouted with delight before he let out an evil laugh as he were going to enjoy torturing them, at least the ninja he would enjoy.
"LET THEM GO!" Lloyd and Lydie's voices were heard before two blasts knocked Garmadon away from them.
The Ninja landed on a log as the cockpit opened and they turned to see the Garmadon siblings coming out of the jungle. "Lloyd! Be careful!" Nya warned as the Garmadon siblings turned to see their father climbing out of the mech. Garmadon however was injured from the blast and looked like he could not defend himself as Lloyd andLydie approached him.
"Holy guacamole, a threeway Garmadon faceoff!" Thunder shouted excitedly. "Take the shot, guys!"
"He's vulnerable!" Cole added.
"Don't hesitate!" Zane encourage.
"Strike now!" Kai finished.
The Garmadon siblings quickly looked back at their friends before they turned back to their father who limped towards them. Garmadon let out a cough as a sure sign he is too injured to fight back.
"We're sorry father, you leave us no choice." Lloyd seriously as Garmadon drooped his head, as if accepting his fate,
"We never wanted this ourselves. But it is our destiny." Lydie finished seriously as well. "So just for you, we'll make this quick and painless."
The Garmadon siblings then powered up their powers as everyone held their breath, awaiting him to fire. Misako herself looked away as she couldn't bear to see this.
But just as the the lights was fully charged, Lloyd and Lydie saw their father in weakened state and halted their attacks.
'We can't do this.' Lydie lamented mentally.
'He's our father, we just can't.' Lloyd added mentally in agreement.
Misako looked back and saw that her husband was unharmed. 'Thank goodness.' She thought in relief.
The others however, were shocked by this, even Garmadon himself. "No! What are they doing!?" Jay questioned as he shook his head.
Just then, the stone army arrived as they hear them. "They're coming!" Misako called out. "Lloyd! Lydie! We need to move!"
The Clock is not too far from here!" Nya told them.
"Okay!" Lloyd shouted.
"We're coming!" Lydie finished as the quickly ran over to them as they drove off the log.
"Better hop in, guys!" Nya said as the Garmadon siblings got into the driller.
"Go!" The Garmadon siblings yelled as Nya drove off as she drilled underground to the clock.
Garmadon panted in pain and exhaustion as he saw them go while the stone army followed. 'Please, hurry. Next time, will not allow any hesitation…from either of us.' He thought, hoping that his chase and stalling them didn't make them too late to stop the clock.
At the Celestial Clock, Wu is there waiting for the others as the ground shook and he took a step back as the driller dug up as the hatch opened as they saw the clock.
"Wow, this Clock is mechanical masterpiece!" Nya said in amazement.
"You're welcome to dismantle it after we stop it," Misako told her as Jay noticed the Clock.
"There's only a couple minutes left!" Jay pointed out.
"Everyone, look for the Helmet's perch! It could be anywhere," Misako told them as they search around.
Lydie looked at her mother in shock, "You don't know how to return the helmet?" She asked in shock.
"It has a resting place somewhere," Misako told her daughter as she placed the helmet down but the Clock did not stop. "Oh, it didn't work." She then climbed up on the Clock. "Maybe here." She placed the helmet down but it did not work again.
"Perhaps I've found the perch!" Zane called out before she tossed him the helmet. He then jumped on one of the revolving orbs and placed it on it, only for it not working. "No, wrong place!"
"Oh, what about here?!" Jay called out as the Helmet was passed to him. He then placed it on another place on the Clock, yet it still counted down. "Ugh, nope." He sighed.
"Maybe here!" Lydie called out as Jay turned to her as he tossed the helmet to her as she jump to the top of the clock and place it in the middle planet, but the clock still ticking. "Dang it! Not this one!" She called out.
"Could this be the place?" Wu said as Lydie threw him the Helmet. But then Kozu bumped him out of the way and took the Helmet.
"No!" Jay cried out as the others turned to him.
"There are thirty seconds left," Kozu said as the Clock continued ticking and he and his army advanced on the Ninja. "I think it's time to-" He was cut off when a part of the Clock knocked the Helmet out his hand and higher up on the Clock. "NO!" One of the warriors started to climb up the Clock to go for the Helmet.
"Somebody, get the helmet!" Lydie ordered.
"Right!" Cole nodded as he started climbing the clock as he manage to climbed and jump further as he jumped behind the warrior as it was about to grab the helmet, but Cole punched him away as he screamed and picked up the helmet, but he lost his balance and accidently dropped it.
The helmet fell right and clang into many spots of the clock as the others followed its pattern as the warriors were about catch it, but Jay tossed it away to Zane and he tossed it again as it fell right in front of the clock.
Misako then gasped as she ot a good look at the helmet then noticed a perch in front of the Clock. "The helmet's perch!" she shouted.
"There are only 10 second left." Wu called out as the clock was closing in to zero.
"I'll get it!" Misako said as she rushed to the helmet, but a stone warrior blocked her path before Lydie kicked it away.
"Hurry, mom!" Lydie cried out.
"Okay!" Misako nodded to her daughter as she jump and did a flip as she landed perfectly on the clock and grabbed the helmet to where its perch was.
And just as the Clock's hands hit the top, Misako managed to place the Helmet and the entire machine stopped. "NNNOO!" Kozu roared.
"Oh! It worked!" Lloyd cheered in great joy as he and his sister hugged.
"Final battle averted!" Lydie cheered happily.
"We did it!" Nya cheered as she and Kai hugged as well as the others celebrated while the stone army gave glares at them at their defeat.
But their victory was cut short when the Clock restarted. The Clock soon emitted the blaring call of horns, as the pieces of the Clock started to move on their own despite the helmet being back in place.
"No." Wu gasped as he reach out to the clock while Kozu and Narmaka laughed in victory.
"It's the Horns of Destruction!" Misako explained in a worried tone. "We were too late!"
"You mean…?!" Lydie asked as she and Lloyd stood in dread.
Meanwhile back with Garmadon at his totaled mech, he sat down to conserve his strength as he heard the horns as well and feared what they meant, "Overlord, what is happening?" He called out, hoping the spirit wouldn't confirm his fears.
The Overlord was silent before he spoke in an elated tone, "...It has started."
Garmadon gasped in shock. 'They were too late.' He thought in dread that his wife and the Ninja failed to stop the clock from counting down.
Then back at the Clock, a golden laser bounced around its many parts before its largest orb turned into a focusing orb as it fired the beam straight over the heroes' heads, slicing through the trees and over Garmadon' head.
"What is that thing?" Garmadon asked himself, while wondering what was the light as he saw that it was heading for his camp.
Back with our heroes, the Stone warrior had them being walked towards the edge of the cliff as the Ninja readied their Elemental Blades to fight back.
But then the ground beneath them began to shake and tremble. The Ninja and their friends were on a rock about to fall while Nya were still on the ledge.
"Nya!" Jay called out.
"Sis!" Kai called out next.
"Jay! Kai!" Nya called out as well before Narmaka grabbed her.
"Let her go!" Jay threatened.
"Or what?" Narmaka asked tauntingly, "You will make a big splash?!" He laughed as the rock chunk broke off.
"The ground!" Cole exclaimed as they fell into the ocean screaming. Nya gasp when she saw her friends fall before they were taken away. At the bottom of the cliff, our heroes gasped as they took in a breath of air when they resurfaced from the water and quickly got on to land.
The group panted as they looked and saw the stone warriors taking Nya away.
Lloyd sighed, "This is all our fault!" he said.
"If we had just taken the shot none of this would've happened!" Lydie cried out as she kicked the sand.
"We're all at fault, guys," Cole assured . "It's just the way the cookie crumbles."
"Ah! Are you still making jokes?!" Jay asked with rage. "They have Nya, and you're making JOKES!?" He then tackled Cole to the ground.
"It was just a poor choice of words!" Cole explained.
"ENOUGH!" Wu shouted, getting their attention. "We have lost enough! We don't need to lose our focus or our unity!" He told them.
"Forget focus or unity!" Kai retorted furiously. "We have to get my sister back!"
"By the time we get back up there, they'll be gone." Misako told Kai. "We will get your sister, but the clock has reached a zero and the final battle could start at any moment." She reminded them. "We must get back to the bounty to get prepared, so that next time you two will not hesitate." She looked at children in sympathy when she said it, knowing that they now have no choice than to fight their father now.
"Come on Lloyd, Lydie, let's go home," Wu said, as they all walked back. "You'll both get your chances."
Jay looked back up as he saw Nya taken away.
Meanwhile Garmadon and his Legion of Doom made it back to their camp where they saw the beam of light hitting the construction site where the Ultimate Weapon was being built.
"Behold, my final gift to you," the Overlord declared. "The ultimate weapon: GARMA-TRON!"
The light downed revealing the Ultimate Weapon, a giant black and red tank, shaped like a monster's head as a large cannon unfolded out from its mouth.
"It… It's beautiful!" Garmadon gasped with some tears.
"Now the work, can begin." The Overlord said very pleased.
The Stone Army returned with Nya and the Helmet of Shadow. "We've retrieve your helmet and a prisoner, my dark lord." Kozu said as he showed him Nya being restrained by two stone warriors while also surprising Nya was in her light-blue bra and underwear, while the third one held the helmet.
Garmadon noted Nya's lack of clothing and raised a brow at Kozu, "She attempted to struggle, she left us with very little options to restrain her." He explained. "She has great strength for a young woman." He added.
"That, I can understand." Garmadon said in understanding, since he had experience with Misako in the past to know.
"You won't get away with this!" Nya shouted as she felt a bit embarrassed to be in her underwear again but still put up a brave face. "My friends will put a stop to you…!" She shouted as she kept struggling. 'Why does this keep happening to me?' She asked herself as to why she always ends up in these clothless situations.
Garmadon walked up to Nya as he gave a chuckle and lifted Nya's chin up. "Water blue does seem to be your color. But I think it's time we try on a darker shade." He said as he place an apple in Nya's mouth as she muffled as she tried to break free. "Hand me the dark matter." He ordered.
A stone warrior then brought out a tray of dark matter as he walked up behind Nya.
"I believe we've found our first test subject." Garmadon said, while giving a sympathetic look to her, "For your sake, I hope this will be painless," He whispered quietly so that only Nya would hear.
Nya looked at Garmadon as she heard what he said, almost like he felt guilty before she felt the two warriors turning her around as she struggled to get away from the dark matter as the stone warriors forced her head closer to it as she closed her eyes and one last thought pass through her mind, 'Kai, Jay, Lydie, everyone…I'm sorry. If only I was a ninja.' She thought before her head was put completely into the dark matter.
Nya felt the dark energy flowing her as she screamed at the feeling as she moved around with her arms tied behind her back as she moved around and then fell to the floor as she move side to side on the floor.
Nya's color skin, bra and underwear than began to turn gray as she stopped struggle and just laid on the ground as Garmadon and the stone warriors watched on before Nya's eyes opened as they were glowing purple as Garmadon and the Stone Warriors gave evil laughter at what they saw, while Garmadon secretly felt sorry for what happened to Nya and fearful that this is what the world would be like if it was remade in own dark image.
